the real problem with that is that 1) People attribute shit game to contractors/advisors when the studio is in reality the one responsible for the product along with the publisher if applicable 2) It goes beyod "values" or good will, its incentives and trying to look good in the public eye. Meanwhile studios are toxic work environments that do the complete opposite.

Pulling out a pistol and choosing to re-engage is literally more dangerous than just reloading in like 99% of scenarios.

The handguns are so unwieldly, on top of being underwhelming against most armor types

I love shooting once and having the pistol point at both the ceiling and floor before it comes back to center

Imo Swat is pretty decent. The major flaw is them valuing evidence more then their life. Also sometimes they just don't listen

I really wouldn't say they're decent, sure they have all theese nice features but it's the finer details in them that just fuck them

They're incapable of clearing, they overextend, they don't listen, they don't even really cover you properly

They're PAINFULLY slow in deploying any equipment so that's worthless

They can also only use grenades in the middle of a room when clearing so half the rooms aren't even worth grenading

They shoot eachother and penalize the player, they shoot the player

The stack join system doesn't really work either, they have very set paths that they take and they will complain if you get in their way

Overall not only do i think they're stil really fucking buggy but the OLD ass system from swat 3 is very rigid for a game that needs a lot of freeform
