so i was just looking through chat in this server with the word crash, many state that they crash with dx12, me and my friend are on dx11 so we never crash, that is the problem i think im 80% sure

ive always ran with dx11 even on a higher end pc, dx12 stutters even with fps cap in nvidia, dx11 dont stutter, so yeah dx12 might mess up the game when loading a map in

So I’ve never touched this game, but it showed up on my queued on steam; and I decided to buy it. So I was wondering if I could get a more personal honest review from the games discord server

Interesting gameplay for the first few times, not a lot of replayability other than changed spawn points for enemies. Suspects rarely but do take civilians hostage, active shooters are put on a 2 minute long delay before they go pew pew on civilians. Bombs are hard to hear if you're not within 5-7-10 meters away from one.

Graphics are pretty (mostly due to an annoying fog that doesn't affect the AI), but the game is currently not optimized very well, which VOID seems to be working on. SWAT AI are... good enough for assistance. Probably fun gameplay in multiplayer, but SWAT AI is restricted to singleplayer.

Music feels pretty fitting most of the time, if not always. Gunplay is pretty nice, but having a gun stuck in the center of my screen pisses me off (fixable via a mod called Gunfighter). There's no sprinting other than lowering your weapon, be it via low or high ready.

I can't say the game is worth its current price, personally, but it's good enough if you have spare money to spend.

Best strategy imo is to clear the first entrance area and go straight up the stairs. Clear that out and clear out the area before the huge cargo area as much as possible from upstairs. Go back and head to the outside area. Clean out and shoot/arrest as many suspects as you can from there. Then you can enter from the cargo gate furthest to the entrance. From there it's just a matter of clearing "rooms" between all that cargo carry shit.

Spare plenty flashbangs and use them to bang areas that are risky. It's not that hard but it can be overwhelming due to the many angles you can get shot from

I think many people dont take the time to "let it breath" before entering somewhere. There's no rush so it's best to wait and see if anyone shows their self before you enter. Use limited penetration and try to get angles inside from whatever doorways you can, because there's plenty

So let them go first if there's a lot of angles since they have aimbot pretty much

If the enemy fires at them you can pop out and help too

my swat ai drops like flies a lot of the time

they absolutely do not respond to gunfire other than shoot back so if the suspect is far away and they cant land a shot theyll just stand there and take round after round

Yea unfortunately it's got some luck there. That's why you'll have to pop out and shoot back or be ready to call them back. Even if you do amazing the AI sometimes fucks you over
