staggering actually happens alot more on body shots than limbs shots, maybe thats why
I was one tapping people on port hokan with hp round body shots so I was trying not to kill them
honestly, if you dont want to kill them in the first place, use nonlethal or less lethal, because incapacitated counts as kill anyway so, only exception being HVTs
If i tie them up before they stop screaming would they still be alive

so, i’m currently on hide and seek — sent in blue team to deal with one of the small offices while i cleared the rest of the outside with red. now as i’m trying to get ready to move in on the warehouse, i can only utilize red team
if you're on pc scroll the mouse wheel, if still cant then check again to see if they're dead or not
they’re both alive and i’ve tried using the mouse wheel and still nothing
oddly enough if i hover over one of them individually, i can still have them do minimal actions

Non-lethal: M32A1 with flash ammo only. Heavy vest full coverage steel or ceramic + ballistic mask. 2 pacifiers 2 negotiators
Best build: Taser only. No armor and helmet. 2 intimidators 2 pacifiers. This build require to keep suspects stress below their threshold, so it's wont work on Lethal Obsession, Elephant, Neon Tomb and Relapse missions

You know in insurgency, if you kill a teammate once, you get a warning not to kill anyone else and if you hurt anyone else you'll get all of the damage you're gonna take all you're gonna cause. It would be a good deterrent against assholes.
For Ready or Not they should suspend you for an hour per teammate killed
Nah not for one it can happen to kill a tm8 by mistake. I'd say if you kill too many under a hour then you should get suspended for a day.

C2 for breach option, but it's seems to be ineffective on suspects on hard difficulty, but still gonna ragdoll them within 5m from the door
Long tactical M320 flash/stinger for yourself if you going less lethal, for lethal mirrorgun or any other long tactical that suits better for you. Idk what would be the better option for swat ai

Well what have in the list: 50% faster RoF for suspects rifles (AKM goes to 1000RPM), much better accuracy (still not that accurate like before 1.0), +30 more health which means no more oneshots with 7.62x51, faster reaction time, higher damage cap (70 > 80) so it's possible to die in 2 hits instead of 3 on bare torso or on the side with light vest only, more suspects, more explosive traps and so on
Don't bring wedges for everyone, only for yourself if you really need them. Give em all flashes

For lethal flashbang or stinger, flashbang wont cause FF if you hit swat ai with it

I have never used wedges, so it's up to you. C2 like I said is ineffective in terms of morale damage on hard mode, but still can ragdoll suspect for free arrest

the game seriously is sparse with the stuff it has been promoted to have, and its not even fun. what happened to the suspects hiding under beds, inside of stuff, taking hostages and actually killing them, flanking. advanced ai nowhere to be seen

suspects dont typically hide, they do hide tho, you're very unlikely going to encounter it, but it happens, and it also depends on map, for example, twisted nerve and carrier of the vine, you are more likely going to encounter suspects hiding inside closets or under the bed
they do kill hostages, what gave you the impression that they dont? and they do flank
i have seen them play dead too

also about playing dead, if you detonate c4 charge with a suspect right on the other side of the door they will always play dead, but if you shoot at them most of the time they wont, i mean, why would you suddenly play dead in the middle of a shooting? logically speaking its better to just shoot back rather than suddenly drop down
it still happens, just rare, you can tell if they are faking it or not by the guns strapped to their body, if they are downed and not have their guns dropped they're faking it

counter argument here, even in the real world, there WOULD absolutely be indication that someone were shot, bullets are not needles, they punch holes through your body
also why would you be concerned about them catching you off guard anyway
if you're actually policing you'd cuff them whether they're confirmed dead or not
and I rarely see the suspects faking surrender, which is stupid. It should occur way more, especially on suspects with psychedellic effects

no its just a canon hole because it would be too cpu intensive to have a 16 man team clear stuff, so they just put it to 4 ais and an idiot commanding them. But most people play this game exactly because of realism

the only thing that is even remotely realistic about this game is room clearing and cqb theories tbh

i've tried SOME ai mods, i honestly dont even feel any differences compared to the base ais, for example ready or not here i come ai mod, or swat and suspect ai overhaul, jug's gameplay
however i actually enjoyed realistic fear overhaul and immersion improved, only because it directly modifies the enemy's damage, not because the ai is better or anything
I just want the AI thinking less like a static enemy and more like a moving person

most maps arent a circle so, even if they want to its hard, they DO flank tho, if you left a previous area unchecked, but calling it a flank would be an overstatement because its just enemy punishing you for your own mistake rather than actively flanking

they seem to be stuck in the zone they spawn in, other than the roamers
theres barely any flanking on ides of march and that makes no sense when those dudes are veterans + theres so much doors to come from behind

if they can flank you you are playing with a skill issue bro
and plus the flash launcher is grenades but it's technically better because you don't have a delay to throw it and wait for the boom

they're pretty useful for some maps

Reusable and can't go wrong with blocking off flank routes
plus if you're not using the flash launcher and arnt taking 13 ammo for it then with swat ai you easily have enough space for like 6 sets of wedges with no worries
neon tomb is literally so easy
the hardest part is trying to find everyone after you resolve it
I just carry 2 on myself and for my squad
if only wedges could stop you from being shot through the cardboard boxes in greased palms
what even is yalls loadout
cos like 4 primary mags for your ai, one has like 7 flashbangs, one has like 7 c2, one has a bunch of wedges and you've already run out of equipment to give you team and might as well just stack more
and now suddenly your team has 15 flash bangs and 15 wedges and 15 c2 cos those are the only useful equipment to give your swat team members
(cos they can't use lockpick guns, pepper spray, I don't think they can use tasers nor would it be very useful,
12 mag and a lockpick gun 
Might try this out, 1 AI brings 1 max load of tacticals, since I always keep my AI together

I'm 31 hours in and my progress didn't get wiped nor did the achievement system fail to register a completed mission unless I somehow got it to below C
the other missions are on standard because i beat every mission pre 1.0 (or whatever the console update was called), then i redownloaded it, saw my progress was wiped played the first 5 missions, got bored and went MODDED
you cannot get achievements for beating the map if its modded
But if you beat the game pre 1.0, then shouldn't your steam achievements reflect it? As far as I'm aware if you didn't do modded runs before 1.0 then the achievement should still be there

Just found out you get 2 wedges per every inventory slot you assign to wedge
More simply, if you add one wedge to your inventory that gets you 2 wedges
Any short barreled gun should do the trick
SMG's work here as well, if I had to say, MP7 or the LVAR(I would've said GA416 for cool points but honestly that extra firerate won't do you much good..)

Hi I’m playing on Ps5 i completed iron man mode without losing a single officer. I have received the ,,hermit” trophy on PlayStation but I haven’t received a watch cosmetic in the game. Anyone have a clue what might be the problem?

You will be able to play most of missions with MP7 and P90 using AP ammo, as for other pistol calibers they will struggle against level 3 armor
The bloodbath difficulty is really fun. I emptied 4 mags on my battle rifle and 3 mags on my pistol and still had enemies left

I would say this game is about as dark as it needs to be. My main problem is that the game feels like its trying to say something but it's really saying nothing if that makes sense.

I'm more talking about the voice acting for the suspects. As in mainly the sounds of them dying are usually really well done and can geniunely feel horrific. Even if a lot of the accents are exaggerated and their non-pain based lines can be pretty funny. (most los locos suspects having rather comical accents for example)

I want more visible differences in the way suspects act, Crackheads should be shaky and contanstly paranoid looking, Trained Suspects like the terrorist or especially the PMC guys in the dlc should act more professional.
Imagine seeing a gangster suspect frantically put his gun down in fear as a professional cockily lowers their weapon slowly, It would just be way more immersive.
maybe having them change their behaviors in animations if they were caught off gaurd compared to hesistating.

different groups of animations for different suspect states and types would be moreso time consuming to implement than difficult
I compare the way suspects are animated in this game to half life 2 npcs. Its oddly accurate they even telepathically open doors the same way.
The Swat 4 Suspects were animated better in some cases lol

I understand a lot of the ready or not suspects being a lil more jumpy as a lot of the scenerios in RoN are dealing with some people who are 100% off their rocker and a lot where death would probably be the easy way out

Thats downright unrealistic, some people have bad upbringings (most likely drug-abuse or living in poverty) and hate law enforcement. But the way the suspects act in RoN are downright suicidal. Even a scared teenager isn't dumb enough to try and pull a gun on 5 swat members when they are looking at them. if your just a lone officer and you turn his back to him I guess. But 90% of the time the suspects just pull a gun right infront of you.

Suspects shouldn't be 100% realistic but they shouldn't act stupid, fake surrenders should be something the AI takes advantage to catch someone not paying attention off gaurd. But they happen so commonly that you are basically trained to recognize "Oh that animation is the fake one".
This could be solved by having the fake surrenders look identical to the non-fake surrenders. Again thats why I want more animations.

the AI dont tend to throw flashes very deep into a room. The flash launcher is good for getting that flash (in theory) to a more central location. particularly in large rooms, like the big open cave on rust belt, or the package sorting warehouse on greased palms, where u wanna maximize the effect
i like to use open and clear with leader tho. you get to decide where that flash goes

They killed so many of my officers especially those who were my first ones

you dont need a shield, just go slowly
I bring the wand while my AI gets the shield with 3 mags of 57 pistol and the rest goes for their primary

The beginning area that has the second spider container, that's the area that got one of my AI repeatedly killed
