Swat Ai can use whatever minus shields. You can only use what’s mentioned in the achievement. That includes stuff like NVGS,lockpick or lockpick gun.

The way you should approach it is to run only stuff mentioned yourself. And equip your AI with the grenade launcher and whatever you want without any shields. And let them do everything. Don’t lockpick any doors or anything. Just stay in back and let them clear map

The difference is that zip ties is unavoidable because you have to arrest people cause it’s part of the game. While lockpick is not needed cause you can kick doors,some are open or get your Ai to breach for you

Start of by taking entrances that the suspects may not expect, it’ll make it easier to catch them by surprise and get the upper hand in a gunfight

Sometimes your AI shits the bed and doesn’t find anything but it can definitely be useful

But yeah @velvet sierra your main issue from what I’ve heard is how you take missions

Take a side entrance, and use your AI more

Elephant is a different scenario from a simple slow pace to a fast pace environment

Take it slower, if you’re just walking in you’ll quickly realise you can’t clear like that

Especially on later missions where the suspects will co ordinate around your actions

And yeah as he’s pointed out don’t hesitate to bang/sting almost every room you’re going to go through if that’s necessary

If you just walking in and taking gunfights like nothing, you’ll probably die halfway through maps on later missions just due to how many bullets you’ll take

(I quickly noticed this the other day on VOD, just walked into the main room without checking and 3 suspects lit me up with SMGs, I bled out less than a second after

Idk if there is a suggestions channel but whats yall opinion on adding K-9s into the game? It would take up the Back slot (Like where your shield goes) and you can command your dog to go Take down a suspect or To go find civs around the map, once found the K-9 will sit and bark at them giving you a clue to where the civ is. The dog could also have a camera mount like people do, so you can see what they are up to. When not used it will stay next to you or follow closly until you give it a command. Idk' just an idea.

I was thinking for like for use on one suspect, like the dog could run and do the thing where they bite the arm or something rendering the suspect vulnerable or even disarming them. Similar to a taser or getting hit with a flash. The dog would be reuseable at the downside that it could be killed if used irresponsibly.
