They need to make it so that Judge can fit in the single file of squad, like when you tell them to stack up, let me fit in between the squad members, instead of them saying "You're in my way sir" like I don't belong there. And also introduce a "Fall in" option where you can be the 2nd or 3rd person, not the leading guy.

stingers should not hit through cover, but have a better effect on target (as they do now)
I do remember 2 cases where they just throw it in a 80 degree angle. One was in hide and seek on the left side entrance of the warehouse
I canāt stand the ai nade toss placement. Sometimes the canisters hit the wall then come back into the room. Itās terrible
They should add rubber rounds for the LTL rifle, SMG, and pistol.
Those exist for those types of guns

I have a question, console players beware of spoilers, don't click ||Why are the missions not present in chronological order. Why are they all over the place with months, and some missions referencing missions that are yet to be unlocked||
Because the focus is environmental story telling not chronological order

My only explanation is multiple teams working on multiple different maps that were tied together later and dates were messed up
and some maps being added later to fill in the blanks for some other missions
I just really hope optimization is fixed and big changes to the team ai on console release day

I get programming team ai is hard as shit. But a lot of the execution doesnāt work well currently. A lot of babysitting and questionable 𤨠decision making
majority of the problem will be solved if they 1) give me all their grenades 2) don't un-deploy the shield until I tell them to 3) don't automatically try to arrest a suspect 50 feet away from them in an open area

Like the shield guy should be crouching and 1 guy covering him from behind glued to his ass. Room clearing overall is a mess.

It is good they are improving the suspect ai and their glitchy animation behavior. But the swat ai is the other half of the puzzle. For the solo player majority
Some subrooms don't even need to be treated as subrooms, like in 3 letter triad with the kitchen.
I'm guessing the pantry was originally supposed to be walled off in level, but they decided against it last minute.
Over extending is a problem. I donāt think they understand fully what defines a room and an open area. I often see them start venturing into other areas because of the āauto clearing into other smaller spacesā system
I do question tho.. did void really bring in tactical advisors when it came to programming the swat ai? Because nothing about how they work is tactical.

Red and blue team need to be programmed differently. Each guy needs to work together when they clear rooms not wander off in different directions not even leaning half the time. Iām sure itās a whole complexity of coding but thatās what is missing

I also have the issue where if a hostage is taken. Often the team kills both the suspect and hostage
I feel like they shouldn't shoot when there's a hostage in general... That's too unreliable
Like you can tell them to deploy LTL, yeah, but they shouldn't be taking the shot. That should be up to you.
Also, one complaint I have about the enemy ai, but it's not too bad... Is that they seem omniscient within a certain range. I'll have my officers try to distract them, but then they spin around the moment I get out from behind a wall

Another issue with some suspect AI that sometimes they straight up overreact with gunfire, bruh how is that every suspect is ready to cook you?
Sometimes they are too much aggressive towards you and your team.
For suspects high on drugs its believable
But when literal Postal Depot security is ready to gun you down, something will seem off
the bodyguards on some missions too, no amount of salary is worth replacing your lungs with a fresh bash of hollow point 5.56
you could have some really die-hard security fanboys (2-3) shoot at you, to just make you stay on edge and prone to make mistakes
but every second security guy should not be shooting at police

This game's devs are half genus, half trying to shove a circle block into a square hole.

You can either run and gun or get all of the suspects to surrender and group them all together.
It's the same process as sleeper agent but with extra steps.
And much harder.
Run and gun approach is getting lucky with suspects spawning close together and killing them all.

I was running with 1 AI guy having the beanbag shotgun, now every1 runs lethal cuz I got anooyed losing, still dying or getting 1 of my guys getting dropped tho.
If you call out for them to surrender and they don't try backing away and they look at you, a majority of the time you can shoot them without consequence.
I'm going to test it just to make sure
I just tested it and as long as they are looking at you and aren't trying to surrender it seems like there isn't any punishment.
They also have to be holding a weapon of course.
In short, if they are holding a weapon and are looking at you and aren't surrendering you can shoot them without trouble.
There's still a chance you get punished though.

When this happens you can try to get them to move if they have surrendered or get your ai to try. But if they are stuck in a place they can squeeze through and are stuck in they shimming animation then all you can do is kill them.

I punched him one (1) time and he fell dead

last time i downloaded mods and i turned it off for achievements it was buggy. I couldnt get achievements again until I reinstalled RON. does this still applly today?
Mods have never been a issue when it comes to unlocking achievements.
Even since game achievements you could always have used mods no issues
If you didnāt unlock a achievement then you did something wrong
But to answer your question, you can use mods and get achievements no issues
well i guess im not necessarily going for achievements mroe so unlocking all the items and cosmetics I've unlocked alot by now but I wasn't downloading mods because of that. I think i saw a message before stating something but i guess i misunderstood

The Elephant (college shooting) you need to be fast shooters will excuse civilians no matter what + there are 2 bombs that you need take care of. Relapse (terrorists at the hospital), suspects won't kill hostages but there are 2 bombs that you need take care of and there is a dlc mission where the main bad guy orders to his minions to execute hostages... + In some missions the suspects will take hostages, do not get near them cuz they will kill the hostage and AI teammates will just straight up shoot at the suspect and just won't care about the hostage, in that case just gas them...

the active shooter mission is really simple if you just push the suspects and ignore the civs
It becomes harder if you waste time tying up civs

The Elephant and the boat dlc mission suspects AI will kill civilians automatically, meanwhile the other missions have the possibility of the suspects taking a civilian and holding the civvy as hostage...
but it doesn't run on a timer
The only missions I had this was the gas station and the streamer mostly...
if a suspect has someone hostage the behaviour is coded to not have a timer

compared to active shooter or bombs
they will only act if they spot you in their LOS
otherwise they will just keep holding them hostage
But dealing with suspects is the hard part. iāve heard of this game before. and if the shooter mission is in a smaller area, itās more likely to easily be downed

Lots of reasons really
but there isn't much that can really be done to prevent it since ron atm uses peer to peer servers
So you can try running without mods if you have any of any kind, try maybe you hosting instead or vice versa. also make sure that none in the party are using VPNs or anythign that might alter or change network traffic

in order to not grief the player (accidental civilian kills WILL happen in normal gameplay) there is a rudimentary system that determines whether a kill is on purpose or not
afaik it works like this:
"accidental":
wallbang injury/kills
injury/kill on un-surrendered civilians during gunfights (suspects have to be currently engaged with the player)
"on purpose":
any kill on a surrendered civilian, even during gunfights or through a wall
injury/kill on un-surrendered civilian when suspects are not engaged with the player
killing surrendered suspects

easiest way is to just open a door, aim at their position, and then close the door and shoot

Thus they end up in the same shots to incap as 5.56 weapons which are easier to manage for the most part

You should have seen the hostage rescue gamemode in early access, that was just impossible
suspects and civs usually spawned together, sometimes they'd be split in two different areas but when the suspects got a wiff of you they started killing hostages. It was also bugged just before game modes got scrapped with 1.0 and they didnt even need to be properly alerted, they'd just kill the hostages the second you moved lol

You're a swat officer and you respond to various crimes throught the city of Los Suenos (Fictionalised LA) The missions themselves have their own stories to them and some connect to one another. Theres also a deeper sort of conspiracy sub plot but theres nothing really concrete about that. a lot is just piecing things together yourself

The detective that should be alive on Dealer is just nowhere to be seen, he has voice lines in the game files but his NPC doesnt exist.

I'd accidentally shoot surrendering suspects because they would go from slowly lowering their weapons to throwing their guns.
I remember when bleedouts wouldnt be excluded from unauthorized force if a suspect surrendered. I had shot a guy and he bled out when surrendered and the frame he died my teammates turned on me and killed me
