arma definitely has a way steeper learning curve than ron just due to the number of mechanics going on (just vanilla vs vanilla). arma mods are pretty cool but i dont think reforger has many coop ones rn so if youre doing it just for that id probably hold off a bit until more get made. if you want to do the large scale milsim pvp stuff then reforger is def worth getting into

Im waiting on a sale, but until there I would like to know if the game have some bigger maps, i mean, with more open áreas. I played only until the mission of the streamer so thats all that i saw. Do the dlcs hold the same quality as the base game? And also, do we have sprint, run or tactical sprint or only walk in the game?

It can vary, generally speaking it getting stuck on loading is because it's compiling shaders if you're running the game on DX12 but after the first time it should load faster but this will happen for every map. You can try running on DX11 if you don't want to wait for so long.

You just need to understand the pattern hidden in the mission and learn the effective route. Then it's not hard, a bit RNG dependant but not nearly as much as everyone thinks. The mission is completely in line with the overall game concept - a "thinking man's shooter", whether you love or hate it is another story

How does the officer AI status system work? I got an A rank on one map (23 Megabytes a second), and all of them were in a crisis. But now I get an A rank on a different map (Twisted Nerve) and they're content.

you can play solo. You'll be given AI SWAT team to command. In fact, it's better to get acquainted with the game by playing solo first

I won't get tired of recommending FEAR Realistic Overhaul. It's the only mod where I saw AI actually being smarter, more active and dangerous but never unfair.

Survive or not isn't terrible, it's more quantity with 60-80 suspects on some maps but it basically feels like ready or not here I come very hard with less DMG and less wall bangs, and more group charges etc

I like it, and also think it's funny when I host a public lobby and people rage quit on gas station storming through the front entrance doors like it's vanilla.

It's also fun with gunfighter and the sprint mod I use which thankfully gun fighter with leg damage severely nerfs the low ready speed to be slow still so it's a nice emulation of realism and difficulty

swat ai is very useless on elephant but there is a video of a guy clearing elephant really fast by using swat ai

it's what I imagined ron devs expected us to do at the level

1. Ignore all locked doors you come across. Suspects can only be found in rooms with at least 1 unlocked door access.
2. Suspects are most likely to spawn in pairs, each pair on separate parts of the map. So: once you found 1 suspects, keep looking for the other one in the nearby area. Killed both - ignore the rest of the wing and go all the way to the other side.
3. Doing on your own once you got your route down (northern entrance-straivbt up on the green stairs-to the auditorium- to the library is the general framework. Yes, clearing the 1st floor past the green stairs near the side ("northern") entrance is a waste of time almost always a waste of time. Only use throwables in such a way that you don't have to waste time, waiting for them to go off, unless you actually know it's gonna hit the suspect and it somehow helps you. Just fkn shoot them on the move, and keep moving. They have bad accuracy/reaction values so don't be too afraid to get caught off guard while rushing.
4. SWAT may have uses, but I wouldn't bother personally since you cant use them reliably to save time or skip areas . They may declare the room clear but they won't let you know there is a bomb ticking next door or that they heard a suspect shouting somewhere close. Not getting this info = F rank
