Only "big" map is the island, which is very open in some places (Especially at the default starting spot)

problem. Playing with AI teammates and they dont clear fast and dynamic very well
suspect ai is still really annoying and extra annoying now they hive mind towards each other.

I've now cleared the map with only 2 suspects arrested but now its the classic civvie hunt 
That's why I loved ArmeT's SWAT ai overhaul, after the area was safe you just gave one "search and secure" and your teammates would automatically spread out and tie up the loose ends, except for soft objectives of course
I think you can order them to do that
But then again I usually forget I can do that so maybe not-

I think the only bug I've had so far is some weird ones with suspects not complying or bugging out
my arrest kept canceling when arresting a suspect then he suddenly got up and refused to comply even after beating him up and tasing him
another suspect was on his knees with his hands up but I couldnt arrest him or order him, and my AI team were compliance yelling him
the new surrender animations could be a bit faster too
they're way to slow rn I think
I like em being this speed, makes you think and have to play by the AIs terms
Only bug I've had is the slow mode surrendering since it feels like it's a glitch, cus they speed right up after dropping their gun
only other thing is its activation is a bit wack. had a dude do it after being flash banged when I think by that point it should be all or nothing
the speed of the animation should vary also
feels more like you wait for the animation to end rather for them to make their move
I checked the changelog and I don't see anything about suspects w/slow animations so I think it's a glitch lol

You can turn on weapon highlighting in accessibility settings, there's no shame in that because sometimes the weapons will either be too hard to see or just fall somewhere, even through the floor
I hate playing carriers of the vine because of the weapons falling through the floor in church

the car dealership combat music (also used on anohter map, cant remember) always pumps me up the most

the order to kill civvies is just way to sensitive. Literally all I did was enter from the spawn, one suspect got killed, we all have suppressors. And I yelled at a civ and arrested them, after that they go active shooter mode. I didnt breach and doors, all lock picked if they werent already open

I dont even think the guy who orders the killing of civs even has a voice line for it, because he was down the hall to me and I couldnt hear him say a thing

RNG is part of the game and that shouldnt change, but your entire run shouldnt be squandered because of something like that

they dont fit the game loop, for Coop it might be okay but they should design things with single player first in mind. Bots are too slow and arent dynamic enough for active shooter, and the game punishes you hard for civvies dying which is very hard to avoid

at most less lethal should be there when you are 100% sure you want an S rank

Question: I had mods installed when I created few loadouts and outfits and saved them for easy access. However, whenever I click on those saved loadouts the game crashes. I am guessing this is because I do not have those mods anymore. So, is it possible for me to delete those saved loadout from the computer itself? because it wont let me delete from in game
I take quickplay slow, just needing to go back to the station just to hop back into the same mission is tedious and I dont want to deal with team management.

I got ambushed while cuffing him, so he stood back up and now refuses to submit. He doesn't even do anything, just stands there and looks at me. I've tried pepper spray, shooting him with my beanbag shotgun, bashing him, everything

barricade suspect is basically most missions, suspects dont interact with civvies much other than taking them hostage as human shields
active shooter being like elephant, where suspects seek out civvies to kill

kinda like how the old hostage mode worked, where suspects start shooting civvies when aggro'd but instead of being when they get a slight wiff of your presence its when one specific suspect on the level "gives them the order" however there is no voice line for him giving the order he just kinda does it through a hive mind I suppose

I mean it as in when you start the level the suspects behave as though it is a barricade suspect level, so they hang around or wander the map, but then their behaviours can change to "active shooter" suspects depending on a specific event you have to try and prevent

I saw someone suggest it was based off of the hidden "stress level" suspects have but I dont think thats true. I had the guy order civvies being killed when he seemingly didnt know we were there. Its a bit random. you just have to be quick to arrest the primary suspect

depends, it can make engaging with suspects more annoying imo.
Its already bad enough with suspect aggression. But if you can clear good enough and get lucky you'll probably avoid them all rushing you. It doesnt feel like it changes too much tho, except when suspects fall back while shooting they will fall back to their friends instead of a random direction to probably flank you

I struggled to find many opportunities to wedge doors on yatch. Most of the doors lead to rooms that looped into other rooms like many of Ron's maps. Theres quite a few open rooms that are tricky to properly breach with AI and multiple open stairways to the different floors
he is in one of the freezer rooms with the clear plastic streamers then prolly, there's 2 locations for him. engine room and plaster streamer freezers

when I did it I spawned at the first entry point and just sweeped through the bottom floor towards the engine room, if he isnt there then theres a good chance he already made the order and then I just restart lol

A coop designed map will play bad solo, but a solo designed map will play fine in both modes

I had a number of weird things happen
a suspect surrendered in a hallway I send one of my guys to arrest him and then I go deal with another one in a different room, the suspect in the hall gets up and starts shooting at the guy I sent to arrest him, but the swat guy just sits there staring.
or another time where someone on the floor above dropped their gun, and the swat ai in their infinite wisdom really wanted to bag it up so they ran upstairs which I hadn't cleared yet and got a civilian killed

supporter edition was during early access, it was a way of giving the devs extra money for development, the stuff you got were small extra goodies, it wasnt a DLC it was a way of supporting the devs

the supporter edition was an extra 60 quid or something. in terms of content you got a cosmetic set a couple unique weapons and shield I think and these two DLCs for "free"

It just felt like a lifeless cash grab, this game is focused around cqb, we got gigantic rifles and our 70th mp5, all the new cosmetic stuff is absurdly out of place and all the qol stuff should’ve been in the game months if not a year ago

Now that he said this, I do think some of the cosmetics are out of place or just.. not good-looking (Of course, it's objective). However, I do like the more options of the rifles that use 7.62 rounds. He's also right that some features should've been deployed even before 1.0, but I wouldn't fuss too much about it, rather glad it's finally here and that the developers see eye to eye to what the players want instead. As for the maps, I haven't experienced them yet except briefly for the oil rig, I liked the vibe of it and the attention to detail of the team on the helicopter during the loading screen.

I also don't think this is essentially a "cash grab", the price seems justified for the maps just like the last DLC. It's not priced expensive, and the first map I experienced so far is pretty detailed.

They don’t really see eye to eye with us tho, they seem lost right now, both grips they added are extremely weird, the th grip while cool just does not fit this game at all, and the slanted grip just makes me angry, there’s gun added older than the character using them dawg, nobody asked for another mp5 its seem like they just brushed the surface of nexus and dipped their toe into one of each little niche gun community pond and then just threw it out, it genuinely feels lifeless and dull.
If they stayed in the direction they were going with previous update i personally would’ve enjoyed it more

The slanted grip seems a bit odd but what is police-gear if not a bit odd? look at the history of police arms in multiple different countries, often you will find they adopt very strange gear either out of necessity(the gear is very useful in the specific contexts that police forces operate in) or out of surpluss(police forces often get military leftovers).
A lot of firearms that police use the US today would look somewhat out of place in the hands of soldiers for sure

Well, they're a relatively small studio. Although they're now possibly capable at developing the experience based on gunplay (Wouldn't say the overall SWAT experience, as they're still exploring to develop different AI behaviours), advertising definitely isn't their strong suit.

Its more of the fact that the fix's take to long and simple things like having both Nods and Gas Masks shouldn't take months or a year to give us the option to have both.

let me summarize this as quickly as i can; suspects have a stress level that can be increased by anything done by swat. yelling, shooting, grenades, kicking doors, anything that you do can raise suspect stress. the key suspect on yacht has a very low stress threshold which when triggered causes him to order civilians to be killed, shifting the map to an active shooter. your primary target should be locating and apprehending him first, i was lucky enough that he spawned in the first room i cleared

stress mechanics apply to all suspects btw; at certain stress thresholds in general suspects may start killing civilians, or depending on the type of suspect will either get more aggressive or hide
additionally i believe stress interacts with the new rallying mechanics now; stressed out suspects may rally with eachother

Old RON was more 'realistic' in the sense that people hiding in a room waiting for you to come through a door are likely to kill you when you walk through that door which isn't necessarily fun but is very realistic

i will say this though; i was underwhelmed by the dlc as a whole. i definitely enjoyed it, the maps are well made, i appreciate the attention to detail and the easter eggs, but my main complaints are that none of the maps really hit as hard & island felt a little empty/bland. i.e. i was expecting something a little more interesting to cap off the yacht map, we have this entire briefing talking about how this dude is an international trafficker etc etc and the "big reveal" at the end of the map is another dead body to tack on to all the suspects you just killed. island is an interesting premise, although i feel like more interactability with the kidnapped agent wouldve made it a little more nerve-wracking rather than the same 3 voicelines on repeat with the uselessly interactable chemicals behind him. oil rig definitely wouldve hit a little harder if we didnt see the hanging coming & if it was a little more gruesome (i had this same complaint about lawmaker; these guys are supposed to be terrorists and in lawmaker they havent killed anyone)

Search and secure only works if you or the SWAT AI saw them, and the civ is surrendered
Easily the worst part of this game and the one thing I'm a little upset they haven't fixed still is the whole song and dance of having to sweep the entire map looking for the one or two civilians that are hiding in some nonsensical spot

Unrealistic and maybe annoying for some, but I love those animations. Even if the gun is pointed at you, makes you think longer and be ready to fight for the chance for them to drop it

On Oil Rig, the enemy seems to engage you 10 meters at most
Spawn on helipad, and hope two enemies spawn just to the left
That was my last achievement, so I just kept starting the mission over and over until there was at least one dude way out there

Do you have this ragdoll bug, too - where shot suspects take off, after getting a headshot? The fly up, like 2m in the air and fall down...like they stepped on a land mine, or something.
Definitely worth imo, all three maps are fun and different
This ragdoll madness sometimes breaks the immersion. Not sure why this is still not fixed. It's mostly when suspects are close to walls and get shot, their body goes crazy sometimes. Looks more like you shot them with some kind of gravity gun.
