It's tough to get started!!

What is your Ignore Enemy Defense stat at when you're buffed up? That's value being too low is likely the culprit for the low damage

I am playing on Mo Xuan and not really consistent buffs, they all got cooldowns, works a bit better when buffed but theres a lot of downtime

MX is a great class!! Definitely not the most straight-forward class to relearn the game with but great to learn Moxuajaja

There is a level 200(?) quest in the lightbulb on left of screen called [Collector's Request] or something similar - have you seen that? It gives you access to two bossing potions (ones an extra life, ones extra damage) that'll also help with your Zakum run.

You'll want to aim for at least 80% IED to properly smack Zak. You can add some points into your IED hyper stat to temporarily buff that too.

In the cash shop - we get 20 tickets a month that we can buy with reward points from bossing (I assume you have little at this time as you just made this char) - luckily on reboot/heroic we can buy tickets for 7m each!

So if you've got 42m, pop into the cash shop and just search monster park in the top left bar:)

Your emblem(E) and secondary(S)are both missing potential - these along with your weapon (W) will be greatest source of your damage output as your WSE can roll attack/boss% lines

If you have any event coins available you can purchase potential scrolls from event shop before it ends

Also form legion shop if you have any coins kicking around

You'll want to save a lot of it but the mag potions will be very handy for you to pop before the hyperburn ends

as a player who just returned a week ago myself, ive been watching a lot of guide vids to get caught back up to speed, and somehow i never came across the fact that the reboot world monster park entry tickets can be bought with mesos, i only knew about the 600 rewards points one

so i just want to thank you for mentioning this lol, i only missed a weeks worth of monster park gains but i couldve missed so much more if i didnt discover this
