#Cannot challenge bosses on different difficulties.

After trace restore was removed, I am locked into boss difficulties I had selected previously in the trace restore menu. This means I can't fight bosses for the Genesis quest, and I'm nearly capped on points and will go over cap after bosses this week, setting me back on liberating the genesis weapon. I am on Damien currently, and I see the option to fight him for the genesis quest, but when I click the option to fight him, it does not work.

Here is a video showing my inability to challenge Damien on Genesis mode, only Hard mode (which I had selected from the trace restore ui prior to the update that removed the ui)

I also showed how I can't challenge Darknell on hard either, to show it's an issue with the trace restore ui being gone but the difficulty is still locked.

Anyone else having this issue or know a fix? I'm like a week off from completing genesis quest, but if I can't earn the traces of darkness I'm going to be set back until they re-implement trace restore, and who knows how long that'll be

Your video was uploaded two days ago - does your boss entry UI still look the same? I can see there is no button at all for trace restore missions on your video, but I am able to see it on my characters who I've run trace missions on.

The maint to re-instate the trace missions UI was on December 22 with the v.265.2.0 update

Can you try to verify/repair your game files via NX Launcher or Steam?

Ruh-roh. It very much sounds like it could be related to your leap from CW.

Can you check your quest UI and see if you need to go back to Veritas and talk to the star force research guys again? Or maybe try doing that on another character?
This was the workaround for the world leap issue re: star speck boxes not dropping after leap
