#Unnecessary restrictions

Hello,

Can we please remove the useless restrictions of not being able to start over this event? I've got multiple situations of people wanting to change characters but the event is just being to unforgiving of not being able to get your items a second time. ITEMS that are character bound/untradable from the start. Why? You should just be able to delete the character and start over. It's not like you can take advantage of "UNTRADABLE" items. With deleting the items will just disappear. Did you forget this is a game? I've got people here just straight up quitting because of "dumb/unnecessary" restrictions. Give your Maplers a second chance.. or a third, forth, fifth. We should be able to at least find our fit. RIGHT?

And I saw people not being able to change to another server after wrongly having decided one? WHY not? What are these restrictions fellas? There's no reason for and you're only making it hard for the players to play. Easier to leave. With all due respect.. Use your brain please.

Already done silly man. I come here to hopefully get some more response, people standing with me in the hope changes come as support copy-paste a response back unfortunately. I am just trying more options. Sadly the community, you is not very helpful either. Others are luckily 🙂

As someone from Nexon might see this I'll react to you (wasn't going to).

Just tie the weekly/monthly boss rewards to the Hyperburn and Itemburn (Creating a new character with Itemburn and Hyperburn? - Bosses immediately cleared that you've had alr cleared). Done. This will still give a person the ability to start over. Those rewards given through Hyperburn and Itemburn are unmissable as those weekly rewards will come back quick and the monthly was most likely still out of reach. + The mesos, you have alr received. Just put in your storage if that's something you can't miss.

I don't see why this is the only way apparently that you guys think this can be done. If your scared for abuse, tackle that. But don't hurt your own pockets (NEXON) by making stuff incredibly punishing.. There's better ways.

FOMO is part of the business model- people make mistakes, feel like they will miss out, so they will then spend money to catch up.

Also, you can’t blame a company for every end-user mistake. The world doesn’t work that way anywhere else. Losing money/ advantage for mistakes is what’s colloquially called the “stupid tax”

Lease a car you can’t afford? The money you lose is a stupid tax. It’s not the car companies fault.

This ain't fomo tho. Most of us, including myself plays Kronos (at least an Reboot server). If the numbers online are correct, right. Where to my understanding money can't get you your hyperburn max items again and or the item burn. So your statement doesn't make sense. As I could call you a Silly man again. I can tho call out a system that most likely only hurts them as already said these are items 90% off the server can't repurchase or fix by paying money. The people hurt by this can only either do it without or be like, well. I'll just go elsewhere as what I said only "hurts their own pockets". As I understand stupid tax. Stupid tax is all but a reasonable example here. I am sorry my friend.. But no. As my last react also said, there's better ways.

It's not a bug but it is flawed design.
It's generally not a good idea to lock people out of the biggest event of a three-month season. Makes them go spend their Christmas money on other games, you know?

Nexon is just being lazy, and instead of trying to figure out what all the abusible things are and block them (like the abovementioned boss rewards), they just block the whole thing.

An additional issue is that the automatic tutorial that pops up for new accounts, leads you by the hand to make a character in CW-Interactive.

Or say, "if that's how this company is, maybe I don't want to play their games at all."

Sadly, this is how Nexon is and has been for at least as long as GMS has been here.
All we can do is play by their rules or leave.
Complaining is free but it's not going to change this company. I should know. I've been fighting them for 17 years to no effect.
