Just found out gollux now seems to be one entry per day period. No matter if you have purple keys. The purple key doesn't seem to grant second entry. I'm assuming this is changed along with pendant removal from loot room?
Guess my 100+ keys now useless?

yeah its one entry per day now since you last played i guess. Like Hexagonial said above that's the only use case for purple keys now

The purple keys is perfect if you want to carry your friends for gollux
You don’t have to worry about runny out(since you have 100) and can give them keys
So they can instantly go in
