yea, the call typically comes in instantaneously, as shown in the walkthrough below:

when i play through friendstory, i always open the phone myself when i know a call is about to come. that usually forces the server/game to check to see whether i have a call. might be helpful as a temp fix until the lag is resolved

why not? the quest was arriving according to the chatbox notification but the call not.
