I simply logged on maybe 35-40 minutes after transferring to Hyperion from Kronos to find my monster collection did not transfer with me.

Just like event legion blocks, monster collection progress is not specifically stated as transferable.

oh yeah, there used to be a monster book back in the day. it's odd that they use that term instead of monster collection

Hii Knite,
Based from patch notes the Monster Collection with the highest number of recorded monsters was kept from the merging worlds and players are able to request Player Support for any changes after if screenshots were taken prior. I believe this will be available from today until September 23 11:59 PM UTC.

Level 66, itsPennyWise, had xfered my monster collection mule from Elysium to Scania now my collection is reduced to 3 when I had I believe many rare unlocks and 4 black chests rolling on it as my biggest collection among the 3 servers merged ><

Same for me and my friends, they all got their MC reset to 0 after merge. I already sent a ticket and they gave me a copy-pasta response like always

Seems everyone in the merged worlds got the higher between Scania and Aurora collections. Elysium just wasn't considered at all. So everyone from Elysium had their collections wiped.

That form response Kinn got just means "the devs are fixing this, it's out of Support's hands".
Hopefully it will be fixed no later than Thursday's maintenance, for everyone affected (regardless of making a ticket) at once.

Hyperion transfers were character by character, so Monster Collection wasn't intended to transfer.

That's what they do when the issue is passed on to the devs. It means Support can't do anything about the ticket. It'll be solved, or not, as a part of a globally applied fix.
