I tried to receive my materials after yesterday's time (~3 hrs) and I received the coins but not any of the materials from it. For reference, I tried to receive them through the Star tab.

EDIT: It happened when I tried to start the new day's auto-harvest before collecting yesterday's thinking it would just bank the materials.

Confirmed. It happens when you claim materials after the daily reset even if you didn't try to start next day's harvesting.

? the fix seems to be they removed all the materials that accumulated, but the coins remain, when you dont collect it during reset
i would've preferred the materials accumulated that isnt collected, also remain after reset

No, the fix seems to be you get your stuff. I just claimed items that I had forgotten to claim before reset, and got them all.
(And it let me start harvesting again, so this is definitely stuff from yesterday, not something that I forgot I started after reset)

Idk if it's like you have to be on at reset, but I purposely left items and coins over reset (was logged off) and when I relogged, claim button is grayed out and when I go to start new day, it tells me to claim and shows only the coins, no items.

No, pretty sure inventory stack didn't increase and completely sure that chat box didn't show any items received.

I was on at reset. Maybe that's the difference.

i wasnt at reset, i had 2~3 hours worth of materials before reset. Just logged in and the materials are wiped out, only coins are left. which coincides with what happened previously before the update; only coin remains if one doesnt collect it before reset and lets it rollover after reset. Hopefully someone can show one more time the materials remain during reset (not logging on)?

I tested again last night. Sorry didn't take a screenshot. But if you stay on at reset and only remember to claim afterwards, you get everything you accumulated up to reset.
This is very inconsistent behavior and should be fixed.

i think if you are within a short time period after reset at UTC+0, the materials still remain (if you did not collect them before reset). But after sometime, the materials are gone, and only the coins remain

It's not a matter of time, it's a matter of relogging.
If you're still on since before reset, you get all your stuff. If you relog before remembering to claim, you only get coins.
This inconsistency can't possibly be intended.
