If I bring on a lead designer and have them create an OS- does this open me up to liability down the road if they own the IP? They do not have the non-binding stipulation so I should be safe there. But if they retire can I just not make the product anymore?

Is there an option to buy them out upon retirement or are we just accepting that the product will die upon their retiring? Never done this and played until they left before lol.
