I created this seed with sword assured, basic item placement, inverted: https://alttpr.com/en/h/JG8k9jwpyB

However, as I am progressing, my tracker is telling me to use dark room logic even though you should not have to on basic.

Also some caves are dark when they are not supposed to be. Bumper cave for instance. Entering bumper cave is dark. No lantern or Fire Rod but the tracker says completely green. It does not even say dark room logic. This tells me that the seed generated the cave to be dark when it is not supposed to be. It was not dark in any other seed.

No.

Every other area is fine

This is inverted, so the entrance of bumper cave should actually be the old man cave now.

So why does the tracker show it in dark world?

#

Bumper cave

There is still a piece of heart up there too

Old Man Cave is not in logic without the lamp no matter whether you're on basic or advanced, your seed is correctly generated as Basic

Dark Blue is not normally seen on basic

I'm not sure that tracker specifically supports Basic placement at all

#

the dark blue means that you can do the dark rooms - not that you have to

#

either way, there's no bug here - Bumper Cave isn't dark, it's the Old Man Cave now

Inverted has some other inverted-specific changes like that

would suggest reading the changes listed on https://alttpr.com/en/options for Inverted, anything that would have made areas unreachable has been changed
