Very niche case but I had a single bomb as my only Y item and a thief stole it. Upon it being stolen it was still up in my item selection box and when I hit L/R it hard locked my game. You have to reset. Can def happen in Invrosia if not careful. Happened to me in enemizer.

I'll add to this, I was able to repro this pretty easy in an inverted seed. If you open the menu as you would in vanilla, it corrects to you having no item. If you quickswap you are locked.

Looks like it's just a little bitty infinite loop in the quickswap code
The quickswap code bails if you have no item set at all, but if you have an item set but have no items available, it will loop forever testing each one in turn
