Oh I believe you. That must have been a real joy to be in. I remember playing ATS years ago, when it first came out. It was fun. But I am more of a Europe guy. So didn't stay for long. Most likely there was so much I didn't know about, missed out on. My worry is my latency tonight on American Servers. I hope that will not be a big issue.

If you are crashing, verify the Integrity of game files. Also, make sure no apps are running in the background. Disable all overlays, including Steam, Discord, etc. You can also go into your graphics control panel and set the global settings to maximize performance.

I just assumed within 4 years, with many staff changes, perhaps, new ideas would have emerged.. instead of recycled content
But as usual it's the same rhetoric within the limited scope of TMP 🤷🏻‍♂️

It may not be your job, but then it's only the job of a few people (I.e. Event Planners/Managers). The format works, people love the festival and Haulie Island has all the features people want: main stage, race track, gravel course, TMP history etc.

At a certain point, you're going to have the same stuff each year, it's a trucking/driving game at the end of the day so there's only so much you can do 🤷

If it works for the majority I'm not gonna argue, and tbh chances are there's enough turn around in unique users every year, plus the hardcore TMP simps, that the numbers are positive every year, stats are going to be in your favour..
But in terms of content, there's no limit to imagination / add ons / development.
Not saying TMP is doing a bad thing, and in terms of the anniversary, there may be limited people working on it, but they have a whole year...
At least add to the previous year's ideas and provide something new / exciting, otherwise what's the point?

well you can't really complain about it if you have nothing to add, if an idea comes to mind then feel free to send a feedback ticket and maybe it'll be implemented, but take forza for example where there is a way vaster community and nearly no family-like convoy-type events where the community gathers, and look at beamng where it's so flexible that people are just split up apart into different groups trying to find their own mods. when looking at these in contrast, tmp seems like a solid middle ground that i'm happy with

The freeroam server has no road rules so you can drive anything available to buy, how ever you like. The main rules that do apply are for voice and text chat and save editing as usual, might be a few other little bits as well. Just remember to restore you car back to normal before going into the normal servers or it will automatically kick you

If you see a truck on your right or left merging into the highway, go into the passing lane or middle lane for them to merge safely(or slow down if you’re far enough)

I’ve gotten in too many situations where someone doesn’t yield. Also, they don’t move over when I have someone behind me.
Or a jumble of situations
I would suggest reading road laws and regulations before driving more in tmp

Also, learn aggressive driving. It’ll save you in situations where people are being dumb and don’t know how to drive.
