I think I can relate to you on some level. As kid, and even an as an adult, I get really fidgety and distracted real easily. Mental problems were still slowly growing as an on going issue during this time and I was viewed as a weird kid. Personally, I got give raisens (food is nice :D) and that calmed me down. Now as an adult in college, I am able to control that with medication and maybe you can look into that if you have the opprotunity. Life can change and I didn't it was possible as a person with ADHD and some other birth defects that affected my day to day life. Now, I have a job on two university project teams and even work as a student research into my first semester of college. It is possible you just need to look past everyone. I'm not social when it comes to non-academic things and that's fine. You will find your crowd and whatever that crowd is, you will know if they are right or not. It's about be treated lke everyone else and given some respect.
