We are already working on supporting it. In the meantime, you can play TruckersMP by downgrading to temporary_1_53 - 1.53.x for incompatible mods

I like how windows doesnt have the option to reset a single filetype default program but they have a reset all button.
to reset a single one you need to regedit remove the association

and after you have done that of course need to restart your pc
