One feature our teams have been working on for Convoy, our in-game multiplayer, is support for missing modifications. We recognise that many players do play with third party modifications created by our talented community, but we also understand that not everyone would like to download all the required modifications to join a friend's convoy session.

Thus, our team have come up with a solution to allow you to join Convoy sessions without the need to have all of the required modifications of the host's session. There will be options to opt-in, both on the server's and client's side to enable this if you choose to use this. In most cases, the session will not display the modification that is missing, however in some cases, such as if a player is using a vehicle that you do not have, it will show as a coloured placeholder box instead that replicates its size.

If you are a modder in our community, please note that your modification must be tagged as "mp_mod_optional" to be recognised as a MOD that can be ignored by a convoy server that allow for missing optional MODs.there are

Please note that when you are viewing the trailers within the trailer browser, the scs.gooseneck (container trailer) dolly will not show up with tail lights nor mud flaps, however this isn't the case when viewing/configurating/purchasing the trailer within the trailer dealer.

Now I have no idea if this is possible, lets say that the tail lights on the scs.gooseneck (container trailer) dolly ends up disappearing on you, then I am afraid this might violate the TMP rules, however I am 99% sure that will not happen, meaning you will be safe with my trailers in TMP.

Use my own trailers at your own risk, I am not responsible if a user gets banned off of TMP just for using one of my own trailers incorrectly!

I should also mention that you cannot bring in the Turnpike Quad lowboys into TMP, this is due to the trailer count going over 6 trailers and/or parts.

You can only bring in the Turnpike Double lowboy, and Turnpike Triple lowboy setups into TMP.

I just want to mention, while inside the trailer dealer, while viewing any of my trailers in the trailer configurator, please do not change the chassis on any of my trailers or else the rear tail lights and the mud flaps will disappear from the dolly, this is due to the chassis file not having any defaulted parts for the rear tail lights and mud flaps.

I have attached a photo down below to show what it looks like to have a dolly without any rear tail lights and mud flaps.

I encourage you not to bring in any of my trailers if your dollies are missing their rear tail lights, however the mud flaps should be fine if they do end up disappearing on you.

If the rear tail lights on the dolly do end up disappearing, just back out of the configurator and go back in for the rear tail lights on the dolly to re-appear.

However if you already purchased a trailer that doesn't have rear tail lights on the dolly, you will have to sell your trailer, and re-purchase it from the trailer dealer.

Please let me know if you found another way to make the rear tail lights to re-appear without selling your trailer.

There are some skins for the T680 NG, however, they won't work with TMP.

TMP does not support mods except for Frosty mod and Promods.

There will be no support for additional mods anywhere either on the steam workshop and/or a local mod.

I suggest you wait till SCS does it themselves, the T680 NG was rushed and released a little too early.

However, I do support the T680 NG with save edits

Reupdated my lowboy mod.

it is now version 1.8

I've changed the chain type on the extended neck lowboy trailer definitions to display "extended" instead of "single"

If for whatever reason you cannot haul a transformer on the extended neck lowboys, you must either sell your trailer and rebuy it, or go into the trailer manager, and configure your current extended neck lowboy, and change it to a normal single lowboy then change it back to the extended neck variant, this allows the lowboy to update it's trailer definition to the new one.

Although make sure to confirm changes on purchase when changing the chassis.

Small update patch.

Fixed the configurations folder name for the Lode King Brillance dropdeck.

The folder was named "configuration" instead of "configurations"
Causing the game to skip all configurations for that specific trailer.

Just updated 2 of my trailer configuration mods (works with TMP)

You now have the option to have a drybulk trailer combined with bulkfeed trailer.
This trailer comes with 5 configurations and 2 custom trailer definitions.
Comes with 6 axles and 8 axles.

You also get the option to have a box trailer combined with a live stock trailer.

This trailer configuration(s) may seem a bit silly, but due to certain limitations and me wanting to keep the mod TMP compatible, I've reused the SCS box trailer and pretended that it was another live stock trailer, as we all know, you cannot have a turnpike double or triple for the live stock trailer, so I had to come up with another solution, and so this is why this trailer configuration exists.

It currently comes with 3 configurations, and 6 custom trailer definitions.
Comes with 6 axles and 7 axles.

I had one similar to it, but it was an abandoned mod that I managed to salvage from my computer.

I didn't make the bumper models, someone else did, but as far as I know, the bumpers were considered private and no longer being used so I decided to upload it to the steam workshop for others to use.

Np, yeah the bumper model only fits the SBA on the WS 49x, I tried it on the SFA before final release, but I found out that part of the bumper actually clips through the front axle on the truck.

My guess is that the bumper was intended for the SBA not the SFA

Well for in TMP at least, could be a mod that is causing it (if there is any active)

However by the term "driving on ice"

Usually if I hauling a really heavy load with the 49x, like long chassis 8x4 or 8x6, the front axle can slip a lot.

This is called understeer slip if I am correct.

It is with the tridem, I've never seen a tandem 49x irl so I made mine tridem in-game like what I see irl.. but yeah in an understeer thing and it's completely undrivable over 20kph

Just uploaded a new mod to the steam workshop for ATS, this mod should be compatible with TMP, I have listed instructions within the description on how to bring these trailers into TMP, I have also listed a warning about the TMP save editing rules, and pointing out some extra things as well.

This mod only supports the SCS gas tanker, you get more B-Train options.

I had to make the configurations be limited, reason for that is because other mods out there already have existing configurations for the SCS gas tanker.

Just use these mods combined with my mod if you want more trailer options.
Their available on the steam workshop, if you want a quick link to it, it is within the description of my mod.

Got some progress, it's 50% working, fixing the missing body issue when in configurator.

Update:

I may have an idea, I know that the SCS container trailer has no trailer body model, I could use that, however, I might end up creating a custom trailer definition from which will copy the SCS box trailer or act like it.

Because the container trailer has a cargo model, while the box trailer doesn't.

I've created trailers that act like other trailers.

Like the flatbed trailer acting like the fuel tanker trailer.

Fixed some issues, also did a test by changing the wheel, just to see if it would let me change it, and it did.

My plan was to make the "Mobile Barrier" trailer and "Knuckleboom Loader" trailer to work in TMP, and with the ability to take loads with it, it uses the Container trailer body, from which is invisible, and shows up as a Container trailer, however, with my clever engineering, it uses the cargos from the SCS box trailer, from which has no cargo models.

The cargo swapping was done with a custom trailer definition, if anyone was wondering on how I did this.

I plan on making it to where the trailer chassis weight is the same as what the cargo weight was, however, I will make it to where the load weight has little to no affect, I don't want it to overweight someone.

I don't think this trailer should violate the TMP rules

Just released it, I sadly had to get rid of the Tub Grinder, it was causing me some issues, however as an replacement for that trailer I choose the Frac tank as I don't really think anyone on the ATS steam workshop has ever made the Frac tank ownable, the Frac tank takes the Chemical tanker loads.

I couldn't really think of what trailer to use as an substitute for the Frac tank, so I used the Chemical tanker for the time being.

You can use the mod on your end and host the server, everyone else who joins that server should have the mod already enabled for the server

Sometimes they might need to download it but that's another story

If it's a mod from the workshop, the people joining get it auto enabled. If it's a downloadable from a site, then they need to download it too.

So in order to create a scs convoy server which can have 8 people in it you start the game in single player and then you select convoy and then host convoy and fill in the details of your server and then launch the server

Hi all.
I have now mod my own engine, and everything worked just fine, until I took it out for a spin.
The steering is awful as soon I am above 25 mph, like a lot worse than the old engine I used from in-game..
so is there anything I can add in the .sii file that makes the steering better somehow? like these lines, but just for better steering.

The people I know just drive on ATS TMP, found it takes too long to set up with mods, we only normally get a just under 2 hours of game time when we are free and don't want to waste the drive time on setting up the mods

Hello, I'm relatively new to the game. Is there a mod that fixes the beacons lights in the first-person mirrors? I should specify it's the Radial Chrome beacons that have the issue

You need 2 dlc maps for it currently , Oregan and Washington. It only adds one province in Canada though. Also make sure you have it in the correct folder.

Just added a new mod to the steam workshop.

This mod gives the Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star 49x more DT12 transmissions.
At least 4 transmissions, the mod requires the Western Star 57x as it sources the transmissions from that DLC.

The transmissions do not show in the configurator while in the dealer and/or garage.
They come as standalone trucks, only in Freightliner and Western Star dealerships.

There are plenty of preview images on the steam workshop item.

can anyone help with custom skins? i donwloaded the templates, edited them, made them into an .scs file, got them working in game but the allignment is off, say i put a 200x200px logo on my door, in game it shows it on the sleeper

somehow the accessory parts on the foodtank and chemtank are working together on the same trailer configuration, the accessory part coding was not modified, only the trailer dealer file was modified, it is a standalone trailer, it shows up as a new trailer within the trailer dealer, the mod will be separate, and I hope it should be compatible with TMP, I'll test it out if it does, I'll let ya'll know if it works with TMP

as far as I know, we are limited to the base game trucks, however this does not include having a base game truck that is save edited with different parts.

Yes you can own save edited trucks in TMP, like if it has a part swap on it, or extra parts on it.
However there are certain limitations of what you can and can't do with save editing

however I could be wrong but I haven't seen any or used any that has more than 5 axles, last vehicle I used that had 5 axles was the Kenworth C500

Hey @sweet mural , there is no need for something external, TruckersMP provides dispatcher option as Nipsey said. Just uploaded a new mod, this corrects the turnpike trailer gross weight limit to be a bit more accurate.

You have a little bit more weight than normal.

It's correctly accurate, I just calculated the gross trailer max weight limit with the base game trailers that matched the actual trailers that were being used in the turnpike trailers.

it is save editing, yo have to do everything through single player, then it will carry over with you, the trailers is what I mean

it uses the games files, but the trailer configuration file was slightly edited, just the name and format name, the cool thing is that the custom trailer definitions work in TMP as it is saved down to your profile.

like for example, you could have a SCS box trailer that has a trailer definition that is recoded to act like a fuel tanker, and that will still work in TMP, I don't have a mod that does that, but it is just an example.

you could only get like paint jobs and decals, sun visors and rims and all that with mods. i think a good website would be modland.net and just scroll through the parts and tuning section

Just take out what ever mods you most recently added then when it stops crashing add them in one by one then when it crashes you found the mod. Make sure you follow each mods needed priority. They will usually have some sort of image in the download or if it's steam in the description. Me and nipsey were having issues then we followed the priority and it fixed everything. Also check to see were it is crashing like try to locate the root area of the crash like if it's crashing on the map screen for example it's a map mod. Make sure everything is up to date as well

90% of the time it's just you need to put your mods in the right order and the other 10% its because they are either outdated or colliding with another mod

I have plenty of mods, most of them are on the steam workshop, and do support the use of TMP.

Note:
TMP does not support mods besides Promods Canada and Europe.

Most of my mods just use default game files, but modifies them to a small extent.
You have to do everything through single player, then you can carry over to TMP with using my mods.

I'll be reupdating some mods, I've readjusted the trailer definition weight and length values on my lowboy trailers, and also, I have redone the "correct weight turnpike trailer" mod, all trailers show up in the configurator, except 1, but all trailers will show up within the trailer dealer.

Coding each individual trailer to show up within the trailer dealer nearly took me 2 days to complete.

I readjusted double and triple turnpike lowboy with and without jeep in front to have realistic trailer weight/mass and length.
I also added 18 SCS turnpike trailers to the trailer dealer, most of the trailers should have working trailer definitions, I don't think that a couple will due to issues, I probably will go back later and fix this, but for now you have maybe 1 or 2 trailers within the trailer dealer that doesn't even have a trailer configuration.

Yes trailers can still work if it doesn't have any trailer configurations.
It just won't show up within the configurator for a specific trailer, but- 'ill work just fine.

There is a promods Canada for ATS yes. It adds one province for now and works on the normal servers unlike ETS2 that has separate ones, you just need Washington and Oregan map dlc from steam for it.

Basically you can drive with people that don't have PM Canada to say Bellingham, leave them there and continue to your destination in Canada

Hello, is ATS modding broken for multiplayer? We (3 people) have been trying to get into a convoy with mods, and every time it says "Unable to join session" - no helpful messages such as "Mods incompatible". We are able to join a convoy in vanilla fine. Our mods are in the exact same priority, same order. We've all made a completley fresh profile with the mods. We've all managed to play in single-player with them, we just can't play in a convoy. Even if one mod, it still does it. We are all on the latest version. Any ideas what it could be?

I use the motorbike one from JC. There are some in the workshop, gta 4 and 5 vehicles and one from need for speed of tuner cars. Not sure if any have been updated yet but they gave a much different looking game when added
