Honestly you don't need many addons at all for MSFS, must have is toolbar pushback if you don't have payware GSX, toolbar removal and whatever freeware airports and other addons you want from flightsim.to

And a payware aircraft like the Fenix or PMDG, or just PMDG and get the FBW A320neo which is freeware

Flight simmers if you use vatsim you need to read announcement about frequencies being changed to be up to date with the 8.33khz standard for european controllers. Will affect a lot of european countries when flying to/from/through them so worth checking the announcement 🙂

Don’t get the crj for now it’s a bit buggered. The flight model hasn’t been updated in a while alongside the sim updates which tweak the flight models and it has a tendency to overshoot LNAV turns with a lot of lateral oscillations in cruise. It’s supposedly getting a big update sometime soon though now that the dev behind it (Hartmann) has mostly finished with the ATR
