yo guys, does anyone know the best way to use the g29 gearbox (6-speed H gearbox) with the Volvo 12+2?
I tried the “Range” scheme but it loses too much power and then it doesn't have 13th and 14th gear.
I tried range splitter but it's too complicated and I didn't understand anything. Using the 6-speed gearbox loses a lot of performance

Use a normal 12 speed gearbox without Crawler gears, then you have 12, 34, 56, 78, 910, 1112 and need a button to switch.

I switched to bazzite briefly, as win 11 was unsupported on my second computer. Was like Mac OS and I liked it a lot tbh. Even played games well, till I tried anything multiplayer and it all broke down. Couldn’t even rip my save file off despite saving it in multiple locations it just didn’t show in files.

I ended up swapping over to tiny11 as I could remove some of the limitations and all of the BS, which i really can’t complain about.

Late answer: ram is Important in General, 16 gb are Minimum for Gaming and 32 are Standard

More important is your vram, Even in FHD there are Games which Need more than 8gb of vram.
BUT: if you have Performance issues with 16gb of ram, the ram is most likely Not the Problem, rather a Part of it

btw, if your vram is Running Full it will Outsource to your installed ram, which will cause lags/ Performance issues

and the only way to increase the VRAM capacity is to get a new GPU with more VRAM (and then the performance difference will be due to the GPU itself and not the VRAM, unless your VRAM was also saturated)

This seems to be hardware issue. After removing top cover of the shifter, check if horizontal potentiometer came loose. If it is, reattach it and test the shifter again. If the plug for horizontal potentiometer came loose, reconnect it and test the shifter again.

im back on pc now

all i did was change gpu and psu then everytyhing worked

so i changed gpu back to new 1 n it worked

then i swapped back to other psu and it all worked again

It's best to have safety margin of power when choosing PSU. The components can briefly take a lot of power during startup. The unexpected load can cause drop in voltage and cause the system to shut down.

Plenty of devices working on 2.4 GHz frequency can cause interference if they are active at the same time. Unless you have WiFi devices compatible with only 2.4 GHz, you might start using 5 GHz WiFi, if you're using it, otherwise changing the channel of 2.4 GHz WiFi can be enough to prevent interference. Bluetooth also works on 2.4 GHz.

i9 is 250W top, Radeon is 300W, maybe 450W with the power spikes, that leaves 150W for everything else if you have a 850W PSU... and already including the transient power spikes... pretty sure you just had a defective PSU

Most definitely, I have an upgraded Legion 5 from 8gb to 32gb of ram recently, with 16 you may still find you get fps drops in high populated areas. I do recommend adding LenovoFanControl to your apps though as it boosts you fans (with overdrive) to help cooling.

Even if the memory speed isn't compatible, it will likely run at highest compatible speed. Also, if you happen to use slower and faster memory in the same motherboard, the memory will run at speed of slowest memory stick in the installed set.
