and it wasn't BIOS related

and stuff like the TPM doesn't matter when you go from win11 to win10, it only needs to be properly configured when you go the other way around

if you want a natively supported controller without needing to use any software i would suggest getting a xbox series x controller and a long usb-c cable if your pc or laptop doesn't have bluetooth built in

Bit late but the 6900XT was engineered with 4k/high fps 1440p gaming in mind, so using the card for this purpose will not reduce its lifespan. If you are not going to utilise the full capabilities of the card it’s better to downgrade.
If you are looking to extend the lifespan of your GPU, I would recommend trying to undervolt it (this is very much a process of trial and error but this will drop temps without losing performance if done right) + cleaning out accumulated dust every once in a while to ensure it is getting proper cooling

Currently, all the smartphones allow only 1 operation at a time. Either Data transfer or Charging. C hub will only charge the device's battery.

Although when you use other auto function,data transfer, etc, there is still some current passing but it charges very slow. We still haven't got anything to make them happen both at the same time

the laptop sticks are smaller than the DIMM sticks you'll find in a desktop pc

RAM is usually soldered to the motherboard in the ultrabooks nowadays because it takes less space

so yeah, it's bad for upgradeability, but you have to pick what you want : a slim laptop or an upgradeable one

My suggestions (take these with as much or little care as you want 🙂 )

1. It looks like you could get an rtx 2060 for a lower price which is a better bet or an rx 6600 for similar prices, both much better options than a 1660s.

2. The AIO cooler chosen seems to come with pre applied thermal paste so you don't need extra (might want to confirm that online though).

3. The 2tb samsung ssd might be a bit overpriced and unnecessary unless you really are going to need 2tb of super fast storage. Seems a tad overkill but up to you. (other brands do offer cheaper options but lack the speed as well, might be useful to get a better cpu or gpu)

4.You can get windows 10 licences for much cheaper than $110 so I would also perhaps look elsewhere for one (and don't get a DVD one, you don't have an optical drive included)

5. The monitor looks pretty decent but again, you might be able to find a better one online for similar price range, although pcpartpicker is good it does miss out some better deals elsewhere.

6. PSU is pretty good but you may want to go for a higher wattage as you will be constricted for upgrade choices at 550w. (650-750 is a sweet spot imo).

Peripherals, CPU, case and RAM look good though but 32 gigs might be a shout if you have extra cash left over.

Hope this helps, i might of made a mistake somewhere or missed something in this so make sure to do further investigating and i'm sure someone will correct me here as well)

Oh and just to add, in terms of gpus it might be a good idea to wait for the 40 series of nivida cards to release. The pricing should hopefully offer some options worth looking at.

Incredibly damaging to the drive where it will break in a week instead of years later? No, not unless it was already end of life or just crap to begin with. Unless you are talking about a permanently using your drives as RAM, then that will shorten your life significantly, but most temp uses are within the DWPD.

Some people disable Swap space altogether but run into issues especially if they are the type of person to leave browsers open etc.

Gen 5 x8 is 32 gb/s, just a little shocking that it wasn't placed on Gen 5 since it seem like it would be. Cause RTX 2000 was PCIE 3.0, RTX 3000 is PCIE 4.0, and now RTX 4000 is PCIE 4.0

You can find HID Wiimote driver, which will allow you to connect Wiimote to your PC. Windows doesn't usually handle Wiimote directly, since it doesn't have any compatible driver available out of the box.
