best thing to do is to move the universal folder into your mod folder and rename it to the mod's name (so you can remember what it is)

Would anyone happen to be award of rear trailer strobes, but ones that are mounted higher up? For example i saw a truck with ramps from a low bed, and it had the normal rear strobes, but then some about halfway up the ramps also.

Well. Any part is compatable with any truck. It may look insanely stupid and hey. It might even be completely broken but it will still work because to save edit you are placing lines of code from 1 truck onto another truck

So by default scs wont let you do it because they want you to use the polished final masterpieces. They dont want you making broken weird looking trucks. But it is possible

But if youre considering save editing

1. watch youtube video explaining how to do it.
2. make sure you read tmp rules about save editing very very carefully

Because although a lot of people save edit. Those rules can change at any time so if you save edit then you need to know the risk youre taking if you dont stick to their rules 🙂

You can really go far with save editing and still be fine for example

By default dumper can only be 1 long. Me and some more members here made them 3 long

Its a scania s 2016 chasis, with daf transmission, volvo engine, renault premium cab, iveco hi way roof bar XD all of it is fine and i havent been kicked. Even stopped with admins and talked to them and they didnt even mention it

The lower front basically. You need to own a scania S 2016 high cab. That is the truck you will be driving. Then you need the volvo fh12 painted bumper. Its a block of code then you add that code to your scania code.

Then you need daf xf bumper which has 4 light slots. Put whatever items you want on those slots and then take that code and add it to scania code then save and then load that save

But you need to teach yourself to save edit first

That's a thing, and without save editing it affects my pc, I have found that the merc can has 30 strobes all flashing away just on the grill alone, and that's easily 2x what i have for my truck and triple trailers.

Ok, so basically this is save editing, you can repeat this process for each part you want, you just need to own a truck with said part you want on another truck you own.

Which chassis should be used for long b-triple trailer?

Tomorrow find a guy with all 3 parts was long, instead of 2 short and 1 long

Simple. Find the bdouble trailer that has long front trailer. Then copy that 1 block for the front trailer and all the accessories. Then paste it as a second trailer. Then find the single version of whatever trailer youre using and take all that code and put it as the third trailer.

More complicated than most save edit trailers because you will literally be building your own trailer from scratch

But 1 thing ill tell before you try. Really consider if thats a good choice for you.

3 full length trailers might sound great but getting it round corners or into delivery bays is much harder also you wont be able to go onto ferries with it because it will glitch through the ferry 90% of the time

So although they look cool they can be a real nightmare to drive sometimes

the bottom link has all the configurations but without cargos so you can add parts to them like boxes or paint rims without it resetting anything 🙂

then add a 1 to the end of the nameless of each then go to scania accessory list and add 2 new lines with the namelesses from the blank notepad. change the total accessory number to 1 more than the number at bottom of list. scroll down until you see wear[x] under that youll see } click after that press enter 2 times and enter the new code from blank notepad and press ctrl s then load the save in game

What it says is. You turn your save edited truck into a mod. Then you use truck_dealer_scania.sii for example and edit the sii to make your modded truck appear there then pack it with that file in there i think 🤔

But. As you can see from people here modding community is friendly. You could go to one of the steam mods that is a save edited truck and then ask them 🙂

youre in profiles.bak which is a backup folder. you dont want that. find the folder named Profiles
