The guide I watched must of been out of date there was nothing to do with a different save format or I just missed it

close your game and close steam then go to my documents, euro truck simulator 2 and look for config.cfg right click open with notepad then press ctrl and F then type in the search g_save_format

#

click next and it should find g_save_format "0" change the 0 to 2 and then save and relaunch ets2

#

then make a new quicksave and then try ets2 tool

If you want local mod you need to join local mod servers on discord

Then in those servers you go to #suggest-a-mod and then you fill out a template saying the name of the mod, the truck you want it for. A link to the original single player mod. Then a picture of mod

Yeah thats single player only. What you might be able to do is join local mod server. Find skin for scania s then unpack the single player mod. Find the paintjob file then copy it and replace the local mod skin file then install local mod

no sorry i dont think you understand from what i explained. the mods are 2 different types

so your single player mod you would have to convert to a local mod. it would be much faster to download a local mod mudflap thats already made then replace the dds file

youre welcome. i highly recommend not rushing it either. a lot of people want mod done fast and they will race to learn and that can lead to entire save profiles being broken and unusable

#

so take your time. always make a backup of the save file you are working on

yes, before attempting any save editing save your game under a different profile (call it TEST for example) and mess with it: if anything goes wrong and it gets corrupted you can always delete it and load your original game profile with no issues

No i drove on motorways and was fine, then i decided lets ask gmm, so i made feedback. Then decided okay lets head home to park safe before log off and drive forward then yeeeted into the air as soon as i touched a sign that hit the tyres which affected gameplay

Ahh its just f_intake_chs from different models added to the truck code

For that exact pattern you would need to know what trucks were used for parts i think 1 would be the old volvo globetrotter as it has lower lights

It could be benz aswell

The way it works is imagine normal scania right? It has the light slots in the top half right? Well some smaller cabs or bigger cabs or older cabs all have the light slots in different locations so for a lot of these light grilles it will use donor parts from 2-4 trucks

#

Then it will place the lights on certain slots then when they are all meshed together it creates the affect youre seeing 🙂

Hi there, I'm trying to add a texture to a self-modelled object in Blender. I've seen people opening this UV mapping menu in order to apply the first texture. Unfortunately they do not mention how they do this or to be specific what the key bind is. I'd be glad if someone knew what this shortcut is:

In UVMap you have to unwrap, to create layout, you can't apply texture from there, for textures you have to use materials that's where u can apply textures to models

this but some models may be complex and not properly get unwrapped by clicking on "unwrap" so you can use smart UV project or seams to clear it up a bit

Like, can I make W be 100%, while making E be 50% of throttle, so it'd give me way of having a bit smoother experience with keyboard?

I know buying a controller is cheap and all that, but I am fairly happy with mouse+keyboard, but my only gripe is the instant acceleration, so trying to see how to combat that.

Then they place lights on the slots they need thats why if you drive up close to those trucks some lights look big some are smaller circles. The smaller circles are on the intake chs behind the original for the truck 🙂
