You can get single player mods but no they wont work for tmp, also if you suggest one in one of the local mod discords i am almost certain that they will deny your request

Mainly because local mods are exactly what the name suggests. Mods that are local on your pc. Meaning that only you are able to see the mods. For example i have a really really modded truck right? But to you it will look very very plain because the mod im using is only installed on my save files...

The reason thats an issue for your hp question is. Lets say i give you a 2000hp engine. And you drive from calais to duisberg. For you on your screen only you would be able to go something like 400kmh. But because nobody else has the mod to everyone else, even if speed is locked at 110 a 400kmh truck is going to have much much faster acceleration so if you stop at a red light with another player beside you. On your screen you would be able to pull away much faster than what they would see your truck moving at because your truck to them doesnt have that mod. So you would technically be in 2 places at once and that cant happen in tmp

You can't have local modded engines anymore, even if you could, that would be cheating leading most likely to a permanent ban from the system

You can easily do that in SP and have fun with engine mods you find online

Note to everyone here. Before upgrading to 1.40 ets2 make a copy of your save file. I upgraded to 1.40 and my save file deleted all of my trucks with local mods on and it broke the game. Only way i was able to get it back was using the copy and using some code that the game had deleted to put back into the save file which managed to recover the save file and all back to working with nothing lost.

I added some special blue lights to my truck... and since 1.40 the flares have gone.. well... very very very bright. And it turns out that the flares now actually overwhelm the headlights to the point the headlights cant be seen

I have no idea if the modding sites I find them on are okay to link, but "ets2 profile download" gets you somewhere. You basically throw the folder it gives you into Documents -> Euro Truck Simulator 2 -> profiles, and there you go

The Cascadia is in Germany. That's the one they used for all the sounds. Though its trailer was much shorter to comply with length laws. Was quite cute.

Once you've got the trailer, you will no longer need the mod
