That's not so easy. If it's a local mod, you can change the brightness in the game sii. SCS parts are not affected. You just have to change the flares...

This is an example of interior lighting. You can't adjust it in DDS, so you have to change the flares directly in the game SII. The brightness is adjusted by the first number; the lower the number, the dimmer the light.

You can only do that with a mod. But simply making the lights brighter for all trucks won't work. Because they're SCS archives.

There are several options... either via local mods or save edits. I use a mix of local mods and in-game parts.

In both cases, you're always editing a quicksave. Local mods are mods that modders have designed and built themselves, using Blender, for example. They have the advantage of being very precise, but the disadvantage that only you can see them in-game. Save edits use the parts available in-game... for example, you can then build a Volvo exhaust on a Scania, and so on.

Unfortunately, that's not possible. The only option is to swap colorable parts in-game. For example, you can swap the Volvo bullbar onto a Scania. You can do that with a save edit. But coloring everything the way you want isn't possible, unfortunately. And you can only see local mods yourself.

Yes, that's possible too. The Volvo's bullbar is colorable, or rather, it takes on the color of your paint job. And you can attach it to a Scania via save edit. Then everyone else in the game will see it, too.

I can only save edits the old way, since I don't use it. Theoretically, you could do it with Project ALM. Unfortunately, I can't tell you exactly how it works, as I've never done it.

This Volvo bullbar takes on the color of your paint job. And if you copy the Nameless one from the game SII, you can attach it to any truck.

This only applies to this bullbar. I'm not sure if it's part of the FH tuning pack. But normally it changes automatically when you change the truck's color. The bullbar itself can't be colored differently than the truck. For example, if your truck is black and you want the bullbar red... that's not possible. Then you need a local mod, which you can color any color you want.

FYI. You need to give your self the Verified role to speak in VC's so to do that. Click on TruckersMP at the top by the Discord Partner Logo then click the name and find Linked Roles. Then look for Verified and attach it to your self!

Yeah, Promods is really worth it, it adds more roads, cities, companies, cargoes, and yes, it may cause lower fps.

It doesn't drop fps by that much to be far and I'm on an rtx3060

There aren't many cons other than the only places that are highly populated area Kirkenes and the Quarry near by so the rest of the huge map can feel really empty most of the time.
Pros though it has it's road physics like snow, ice, potholes and rough roads and well as natural obstacles such as rocks on the road and some rivers to drive accross.

However, the convoy admin/host can check "Optional Mods", that way your friend can join if they don't have same mods

Please be aware that there are many scammers out there. Modifying an interior or customizing it doesn't require a modder unless you want something that already exists. And modders give everyone the opportunity to customize everything. You just have to know how. There are numerous Discords where you can learn about save edits or local mods. You'll end up spending a lot of money on something you could do yourself in four steps. Reputable modders have verified accounts and are part of the community!

This is the mod for it... but keep in mind, this is a local mod... if you want to use it on tmp, you'll need a different approach than in single-player. It's a bit more complicated, but once you've done it a couple of times... you'll be able to do it in your sleep.

I may of ruined my singleplayer game - i installed the brutal weather mod but it also somehow touched the physics. I've uninstalled the mod but now my truck is super fast. Also noticed that my FPS limit isn't working in singleplayer anymore either.
In TMP everything is still normal - just wondering if anyone knows a fix for this or if I need to reinstall the game

two things, it can violate TMP save edit rules with floating trailers (they need to be hitched together, not hitched trailers are like like low bed and low loader. Hitched are like your steel logger, curtainside, etc. Certain trailer models don't have a hitch for double and tripple thus can't be double or trippled.

not a rule by default.... three trains trailers is also 123 tons, you aren't going up a hill in any vehicle within TMP, most hills could lead to you blocking the road especially in high traffic areas. The strongest vehicles (in terms of torque and HP respectively) struggle to pull a 61 ton trailer, especially uphill (automatic shifting may not be able to shift if on steep incline, fully stopped). Trippling that value will make it really worse.
