So I've been trying to extract all the cargoes from the game for an drivershub and some other stuff, I found the .sui files for the cargoes and in there are some values which do not make a lot of sense to me tbh. If you look at Beef as an example, it weighs 21 tonnes ingame but the mass value in the .sui says 655.2. Is there some factor to multiply it by to make it make sense?

And second, I would also like to use the clear names of the cargoes, so instead of beef_meat just beef Any Idea where to find that? Been looking through the forums but cannot find anything relevant lol

Local mods are local in the sense that you only can see them, so if you find a local which changes your cab to an ugly T cab then only you can see it and it wont change anything in regards to the game' registrations of collisions

Weight depends on the trailer size.
Trailers have a total volume of space in/on them and cargo has a volume per unit.
So: trailer volume / cargo volume per unit = the amount of units of the cargo that can be loaded in/on the trailer.
Then that amount of units * the cargo mass per unit = the total weight that will be in/on the trailer.
So a box trailer has a volume of 87, beef has a unit volume of 2.6 => 87 / 2.6 = ~33
Beef's unit mass is like you said 655.2, so 655.2kg * 33 = ~21t

As for the names, they depend on the language set in the game, so those names are stored in the locale files, which you AFAIK can't extract with the normal scs_extractor, not sure if there's any public 3rd party extractors that can do it. I forgot this mod is hella outdated. So this will not work on 1.54 and any of the recently refreshed Volvos.

Mostly due to the creators pc dying iirc so you'd have to find an alterative. Dotec's MP2 and MP3 and His Kogel Trailer Pack have some signs bundled into the mods but cannot be used with other trucks/trailers.

@remote grotto I don't have access to my PC right now so I can't give you the mods that I'm thinking of but any mod that allows you to customize freely while only using parts and such from the game itself rather than adding things into it then those changes should stay as long as you load the save that had the changes on them ignoring the possible issues from not having the mods warning when loading the save

as long as you don't break the save editing rules you won't have any issues

a lot of the time you'll get Auto kicked when joining if there's an issue with your save edit

basically if you download something that wasn't part of the game originally like a third party file that's like a paint job or a truck or a part those can't be used on TMP but if you use a mod that uses paints parts or trucks from the game then as long as it doesn't require the mod to be installed after the modification is made and it only uses stuff from the game it should work on TMP though it will warn you that the mods are missing when loading the save

Some plugins can cause the game to crash, try removing them one by one, that's how I fixed the problem

You can buy them in game. The car and the caravan is a part of the TMP servers. Same with the bus, if you want to have passengers then you can use DBus World to create routes and deliver passengers.
