Also I would like to be able to set a keybind in order to turn them on/off. what exactly do you mean, normal mirrors have always existed and mirror cams is a technological form of mirrors. There is nothing unrealistic with them, let alone compared to UI mirrors which irl are essentially floating videos wherever you look. This is unrealistic.

Save Editing is only that you put a part from a Truck, on yours. For Example DAF105 Sunshield X on your Scania S
but the chance is very high, that the most parts are clipping into each other. So it wont look good very often

There are certain car mods that don't work very well. Maybe it's because you have other mods installed. Did you install other mods? If so, try deleting them, restarting the game, and downloading the car mod you want and test it.

not really the brutal mod makes the weather harsher and nights darker and affects regular lighting. The lighting mod is specifically for the vehicle lights.

make sure when installing reshade you select the ETS2.exe and select DirextX 10//11/12
U can do OpenGL if you are only running the game in OpenGL but I recommend the DirextX version if your system can run DirectX at a stable framerate

If memory serves it's compatible with convoy, but you need to use ProMods Convoy Support Steam workshop def file instead for def file that is generated.

These are all the mods that I currently use with ETS2. For Promods Convoy make sure you have the Convoy Def mod like I do and it should resolve any issues with convoy mode and Promods

Honestly I’ve never tried with a lowish spec pc before I’ve got a 3080ti and it runs perfectly, can play the game with graphics mods etc perfectly. I’m only gonna guess there will be an little impact but I’ve been told it’s veryyyy optimized

They are both worth every penny 🙂 if you got funds I recommend JBX over PNG but if you want a good/all rounder get PNG then you could get reshade on top of both of them etc for photos/exposure etc.
