Well easiest way is to join a local mod discord server and download a skin for the truck you want to skin yourself. Open the .dds file in paint.net and then create the skin you want to. Then save the .dds file and replace that file inside of the local mod textures folder then install the local mod code into your save file code 🙂

Hello, im using skoda in singleplayer, i followed the instructions in website to add it to singleplayer. Now i want to change some torque values. I tried to use scs extractor on "skoda_car.scs" and "sh_skoda_car.scs" but it doesnt extract anything. What should i do?

for ai cars, there is something called arayas superheadlights or something. It might be outdates as i havent checked it in a long time. But it makes ai cars headlights visible from so far and adds so much realism to the game. Right now ai headlights only appear at like 100 meter which is very silly. With that mod, you can see a car approaching before seeing the car, because the road gets illuminated. Dont be put off by blue headlights, you can change its color from its files

watch some Tutorials on Youtube and learning by doing use a Profile you dont use for MP make new one to test and if you get Experienced then try it on your Mainprofile. But make sure you have a Backup if something goes wrong.

And if you want to get even deeper into the subject of save editing and want to create your own mods, then there is the Blender program with which you can create your own local mods, which you can use in multiplayer with the disadvantage that only you can see them and nobody else, but as a beginner you should watch tutorials on Youtube

such mod will only work in SP - TMP in a nutshell only allows modifications that are made using what's available in the game (via save edit). Since a lowbed doesn't have a hook chassis in the base game, such trailer will not be supported by TMP...

If you have seen something like this, then it's not the lowbed front trailer - it's a frame shell from boxed trailer with cargo dragging on the ground. Looks ugly and crappy...

im a big time save editor i dislike all these save edits or mods, i think having the ability to use whatever but i think at least these type of clipping(going through, flotating) shouldnt be a thing but its TMP...Rules are rules

I’m really hoping someone can help me. I’ve been struggling since the 1.48 update with random crashes I’ve scanned through console and I can’t see anything that points to the actual source of the issue and I’m not sure how to diagnose it but I have tried if I send logs would anyone be able to help?

I have taken mods out too but I just can’t find the source and where the issue is coming from. I’m not exactly the best when it comes to the crash logs and stuff.

You need to go in-game, open the console and type g_save_format 2 in it. Save again, using the Save-Thing in the Menu and then try and decrypt it again.

not sure if this is the correct channel, but I'll try my luck anywawy. I'm on ETS2 right now, and I wanna use a mod called 'Road Trains'. But I cannot seem to get it working. I've always wanted to drive something longer than a B-Double, but HCT is not my style. So I found the 'Road Trains' mod on Steam Workshop and decided to give it a go, but I cannot seem to get it working.

I've already got the 'Doubles Anywhere' mod so I thought I could use this mod anywhere. I'm currently on singleplayer so I hope there is someone who can help me with finding out how to get the mod working, or find a mod that actually works and helps me have 3-6 trailers behind my Scania.

It might be that the steam mod hasn't been updated to the recent version. Normally things like that you just have to wait until it is updated by the steam modder, or ask in their chat on the page if it will be updated.

Also might be that it is conflicting with another mod and not working.

You have to install a bypass in the plugins, do you do that? If not, it spits directly at the backup. If you don't have it, I can give it to you as a gift.

I have both to answer you, ATS the deliveries are long and the road more linear road us, level graphics landscapes are more beautiful, for ETS the deliveries faster, driving truck different, road less linear, graphics sound very good too. Ets is more work than ats level development from truck and accessories, there but also with the promods.

No, there are no mods for either 🙃 the only thing you can do is optimise your computer or reduce the graphics for fps.

Generally it is up to you to install it manually. It's better to be confirmed to do it yourself to avoid losing your backup.

Depends on what you like, ETS2 has more players playing in TMP, so for TMP I would say ETS2 is better, but for singleplayer it depends on you.

@coarse echo For sound mod, you need to use it like Plugins, it not work like mod on TMP.

For graphics mod, only "New Summer Version 5.1" mod is supported now on TMP as far as i know, you can also use Reshade there (if you want). For that summer mod, just download it & paste that SCS format file in your ETS2MP>mod> [summer mod] like that.

A lot of people do save editing on their trailer, also on the trucks but I have no idea about blinker lights on trucks that can be changed. Some trucks just have different lights than others
