You gotta help people whenever they are newbies or more advanced save editors… what do you think why I know so much? The modding.scssoft.com article I could find dindn't help much (https://modding.scssoft.com/wiki/Games/ETS2/Modding_guides/1.35) it just says it's a vertex color that is multiplied, but I have no clue what I can do if I want to set a specific color.

The context where I'm getting this is from color-selectable skins (like Sade, Sunrise, Duellist...), and I wanted to create a new preset. Just by replicating that creates the new color preset -- but choosing the color pair I want to sit there is being the issue.

Ya, my adblock worked like a charm as well. I saw all the ad stuff while trying to check the page's calculations towards the numbers. As they round down to just 4 digits, the color loses precision.

I found a thread in scs forums where a guy posted this very page. There somebody else shared a simple HTML file with the code. I'm about to test it using all precision a puny floating point number can provide.

1. convert from HEX to DEC
2. divide the result by 255
3. apply it to the power of 2

The point I'm trying to make is that you cannot simply subscribe to a mod truck in the workshop and immediately use it in TMP. Instead, you'll need to first purchase that truck in the single-player mode before being able to use it in TMP.

Anyone know if its possible to change the wheels on a stolen livestock trailer? Seems every time I try changing the tyres it goes all wacky and deletes the entire rim+hub (even when adding rim+hub+nuts accessories), and pushes the tyre 3 inches back into the trailer

It didnt have a disc accessory

Only thing I replaced was the steel wheel accessory with michelin tyre, then added all the other wheel accessories you'd find on normal ownable trailer

i.e. for each axle on the company livestock trailer is a single accessory:

does your stolen trailer have this line in the list of all accessories?

As an example, this is my stolen Volvo trailer with added wheels, tires, hubs and nuts of my choice. I have to have this line or it won't work

The ownable livestock trailer comes with data.sii accessory. The company one does not. Why is it required, though? The data.sii is just a file that contains default and fallback accessories.

Make sure that the trailer_def for that combination is for cattle, most likely this custom B-double is not using a def for livestock

You might see cows sticking out of the first trailer

Oh you can set any def on any trailer? Im guessing that jsut takes the definition and applies the cargo as if your trailers matched the def? Could try using that to fix my container carrier + lowloader combo too 😛

Hey, quick question. i want to play normal ets2 with a couple of mods, I open the game and after 10 minutes it crashes. In the crash log theres a kernelbase.dll error message. does it have to do anything with mods or is it something else?
