no, save editing only works by using what's available in the base game. Because a cistern chassis with a hook for a dolly does not exist in the base game, it is not possible to make it with save editing alone.
@native nimbus You can make anything for ETS2 with software like Blender and such. However, TMP only works off the base game, so any modifications that go beyond save edit will not work in TMP. There are some very specififc mods that do work in TMP, but it's only a few.

I think the problem is cargo hook point is tied to the chassis for a given body, and since I have a mismatch (profi liner box trailer chassis with profi liner drop side body) the cargo model freaks out and drops itself to the floor as it cannot find the hook point

profi liner box trailer doesn't have a cargo model hook point because there are no cargo models for box trailers (makes sense, the trailer body is fully closed off, you can't see the cargo inside anyway so no point making cargo models for it), and so when the game is told to attach an actual cargo model to the chassis that is not supposed to have any at all you get cargo on the floor situation

the only downside is... the cows don't get placed on the trailer when picking up the delivery... you either want the cows to be permanently on or an empty trailer

It didn't. The line with cargo_data showed up as vehicle_accessory before with the default lowbed trailer and it worked but with a longer lowbed it shows as vehicle_cargo_accessory

With default lowbed trailer there was no model_seed and cargo_data

Kinda just wing it, it's a pain in the ass. Line it up by eye as best as you can and then hop in game with it, then adjust until it lines up.

Assuming you use MS2, you can use their 3D previewer but I couldn't make it work myself.

you will get autokicked by the server for using that, they blacklist a load of items so basically unless you can hack into their servers, you will not be able to use it even willingly in TMP. within single player you use it as much as you want. if you want to do C-D road, nobody is stopping you, in singleplayer/ETS convoy mode.

Go to your settings and then under key assignment. There you will find four lines which are called as follows: "Front suspension drive up as well as the same with sink and then the rear suspension. You have to assign these first, so that you can set the height of the Farhwerks. The chassis sets itself to the initial position when the 30 km/h is exceeded. Hello people! Could anyone tell me how I can be using two low boards in truckersmp? I see people using this type of trailer and other quite strange ones XD, can someone explain to me how it works?

It's hard to explain but you switch some things in a save made in game

you decrypt your game.sii file, then via Notepad or Notepad++ you manually type/modify certain lines of code in there, and you might get what you want

How do you put my mods in the ETS2MP?

By going into your Documents, finding the folder marked "ETS2MP", opening it and then placing your mod in the folder marked "mod".

If you don't have that folder, make one and repeat the final step.

how can I check if my mods (offline) will work in the new version before updating?

Generally speaking... You can't. If you're really worried about it I'd wait a week while mod devs release new versions for 1.47, but if not the only mod I really had an issue with was with Grimes' Spring mod and some missing textures at a company. Some mods also get identified by the game as incompatible in the mod browser too so make sure to check that before you start.

If you really need to you can always roll back the game version to 1.46.

Be carefull because the cabin must be compatible with the chassis or it will float. Examples: mercedes-scania, scania-renault etc.

Anyone know if the old cows are in the game files somewhere? Saw a post here showing the cows have been replaced in 1.47 with these crap low quality ones

Also last week in another discord someone tested 1.47 in sp and somehow had the old better quality cows in the new trailer

Also wondering if the old taller cow trailer is anywhere in the def files or in game

maybe the old cows are still in the game somewhere but they're definitely under a different def location, the ones in the pic are the new def ones i found from selecting one of the cow jobs from the cargo market
