That's right
Cool
Next Monday I get a different truck for a while
Thats cool and tight
New job incoming
Koleka

Btw most driver here is in Europe as i see

Very nice Scania where I parked up last night
You work at same company as Luke C? Or am I getting confused with company's haha
This is my last pic. Goodbye trucking !
oh wow another great one goes
Thank god
Bit of shunting with this beast
Yes, I believe I do. Harrys and Sons haulage. But I'm still stuck with an older daf 96. I think he got one of the newer ones. But I can't say I have ever met him
Yea, he has got the 106 XF
thats it, lucky man
Well, I think the 105 and 106 daf are not that different at comfort or how it drives, only the throttle of the 105 is super delayed
Whoopsie
thats why I dont like it as much
what on earth did you do to end up like that?
I don't blame ya, especially whe you do a lot of precision reversing, impossible with that throttle
Sharp corner of a sidewalk
god yeah, feels so jittery
ohh rest in peace wheel
Nah, not gonna replace it for that
tbf I wouldn't either. You just wanna be careful cause god knows what spikey debris may slip in there
anyone here that is in the UK and has his own lorry ? can you please PM
What you gonna do now
@rugged cape idk but trucking is finish for me
Well, that bit that has gone out of the sidewall, is like not even half of the thickness of the sidewall
So no danger
and why you just leavin like that
Retirement
ah alright,
Off, Iveco needs a stop
what r u hauling
Are those tyres bigger then normal or not?
can i hear some of those trucks horn?
nuclear parts
yep
i need to find but yes i have videos about it
๐
Something isnt quite right
That's a nice truck.
You should send pictures of random trucks in #photos instead. Please also read the pinned messages in this channel
why your driver plate is in weird position?
Personal preference
up to you, it's your truck, anyway nice merc
This is the reason why I like it slanted.
Does look better slanted honestly
relatable
denmarkgang
nice
understandable, dont have that problem with my old little scania lol
Wouldn't really call that a problem. I've always had my drivers plate slanted.
Atego gang
ah ok, thought it was cuz of the frit on the window
53' ?
Gorgeous cascadia
You drive the MAN?
Nice Actros btw
that tiny thing ain't no truck #wannabetrucker
I just love driving the scania ๐คฃ
Bruh quality
haha get a volvo lol
XD, indeed Scania not Volvo or MAN quality

It's cool
what's your trailer type called?
usually see the sidecurtain type but never saw this before
oh it's like automatic gate.....looks interesting
We load a lot of bulk so we can't use curtainsliders
where u go exactly?
Near Salzburg
@rugged cape Please refrain from sending pictures and/or videos that suggest dangerous driving by taking them while driving on a public road. Thank you.
Gopro
๐
Would you mind sending me the video in DMs by any chance?
@oblique herald Please refrain from sending random videos not related to "real life trucking", and you're still driving dangerously on a public road while recording it, thus meaning it's breaking the rules.
Love you too hunnybun
Wanna come party a little at my place? You look a little tense man
Umm no.
Reminds me of GoodYear
๐
Nice google pic.
Still a random google pic
Does it matter whether it is a google picture or not?
Do you drive/have driven either of those two trucks?
Then it seems like it's a random truck pic.
hey i have one question if someone have anny experience with opening your own trucking company can you replay to this message
My advice is don't
And you'll get that advice from anyone
But people are willing to help you anyway if you still go through it
i know this is risky but i like to do it cuz i am going to study logistic and it will myby work out i am going in to it i just like to get some advices if is someone there who can hellp me i am european
Best piece of advice you will ever get owning a truck, "You must have a large fortune in order to make a small fortune."
1 truck in the US costs about $150,000-$200,000. The average weekly income of a truck owner is $6,000-$10,000. Meaning it could take 10 years to pay off a truck.
yes mate i know i am from europe and i am not going to be a driver i am logitstic tehnic i mean i am studiying for it i am gona invest in company
like i am just gona buy trucks and pays drivers
i need advices how to find drivers, posible clients and company related things
I can't help ya there
thanks annyways bro tnx for taking time
No problem
And your rebutle would be based on what? Yankees know how to build quality, powerful and reliable trucks.
Change my mind
European trucks just look aesthetically pleasing. If we get down to the nitty-gritty details, Americans outdo them by a mile.
Speaking as an individual who owns one. It can be cancerous and beneficiary at the same time.
I don't own a truck myself but I did study Transport and Logistics for one year before I started on my license, and I asked a lot of people because I want to be my own king one day too.
A lot of people think the only investment you need to start is to buy the truck and some paperwork, but reality is that you'll have to pay for loan, diesel, adblue, tyres, parts and maintenance for at least 2-3 months before earning any money because you won't get paid by your customers day by day. One advice I got is that when you have enough money to buy two trucks, you are able to afford buying and running one truck without putting yourself in too much debt. For example a โฌ80k truck, you should also have โฌ80k in the bank.
It's expensive, tiresome, but it's a joy watching your truck belowing down the road with it's straight pipes having engaged the brake jake
All that stress is worth it
We used to know how to do that. We don't anymore, just look at the International LT. Most common truck on the road because it's cheap and it feels cheap, it drives cheap, and falls apart easily.
The thing is, here in Norway the "DOT" is so strict with noise and light pollution that any styling and joy you'd find would likely be illegal. I think starting up in Norway is one of the hardest places, since you have everything working against you when it comes to DOT, Diesel Prices, Taxes, Tolls, Weather, Roads, Hills, competing against companies from different countries where drivers get 1/10th of the salary you get.
i know this is why i asked in this forum cuz there are alot of real life truckers who i can ask
You're picking the worst American truck brand.dont leave out Kenworth, Peterbilt, Freightliner (I happen to own one) and so forth
yo men can i add you yo seem like a nice person can you mby hellp me with questions?
The only disadvantage of owning an American truck is that parts are expensive
If you want, I can try
There are Freightliner dealerships
I know I singled out 1 brand, it's because it's where the trucking industry is headed right now
But they have to import them most of the time
you from europe?
Do they get transported by boat from the US? Do the boats take good care of them, or do you often get issues with corrosion of the salty environment?
Yes, Norwegian
nice i added you
Yes and no. Most of the time they use DHL and fly them over
You have a choice. Either they fly them over for a pretty penny or they ship them but it'll take longer
Every Kenworth I ever owned felt like I was jumping 50 feet in the air if I even looked at reverse. I never drove a pete, my first international blew it's engine 42 miles after I got it. Freightliner has Def issues across the board and Volvo is impossible to get anybody to service them
Thanks, I was just asking because a friend got a motorcycle shipped overseas and it was rusty in a few years.
Always use DHL and fly things over. But just know it's expensive
New freightliners have a Deisel Exhaust Fluid system or AdBlue in europe, the sensors in this system like to throw fault codes and derate the truck to 5 mph
It's the sea salt
Ye you're right Phoenix. I've got a buddy of mine who owns the 2018 version of the Freightliner
Same exact issues your mentioning
My model is a bit older (2008)
It's a very common issue.
But she runs well
Older trucks generally run better then their modern counterparts. having said that, modern trucks are generally lower maintenance, more comfortable, and run more fuel efficient then older trucks
Well most modern trucks have all electronic stuff and are mostly automated. Which has its benefits. But I believe in older trucks because should problems arise, you get your toolbox and get those hands greasy.
Hence I tend to lean more towards late 90s American trucks. And some European trucks like the Iveco Stralis, or DAF
If you know how to mechanic, older truck could he more affordable
Volvos Scannias etc are overly complex for me honestly.
That's how I learnt some basics of fixing trucks. From my mechanic, an older gentleman but very experienced
He used to work at the serving section at Freightliner
Sometimes the work is out of your hand, but putting a older truck in a shop for every small thing could drain your pocket
You probably change brakes, tires, oils etc yourself
We have a 2000 Volvo FH in our company and it still runs like a charm
But it runs expensive
@median orchid what's the profit margin in SA? In Norway you can expect around 2% profit
cool I'm near Wien
Ok but how is using outdated technology outdoing us?
Considering they lack the safety features European trucks do. Their engines are outdated, gearboxes are outdated
Expect newer volvos
And some paccar products
Still disk brakes arent the norm. They mostly use drums
Air suspension lacks features
Acc only exists in few trucks
12v electrical systems
I can go on and on
Modern Freightliner trucks are just an American version of the previous generation Mercedes.
ACC in America won't be useful in any application until more vehicles use it. And the sheer stubbornness of most people means it's a stupid slow adoption time.
Until I got in this International I am in now, ACC was broken or not on the truck.
@slim valve Hello there! Please do not post any pictures of trucks here unless you're the one driving them. pictures should be used instead. Thank you.
You can use ACC without any other vehicles using it and it'll work it's wonder
You're looking at around 5-7%. But having long term contracts is an added bonus. Licensing at the DMV is very expensive
I didn't dispute that. However I'm referred to engine performance, torque and horse power. Especially when you're hauling earthworks machinery, these American trucks tend to move the load easier than euro trucks.
American trucks max out at around 600hp from the factory. Meanwhile European trucks are closing on the 800hp mark
Im sorry
Yes and no, depends on the truck. Dafs are very lazy trucks, while man or Volvo feel way more powerfull. Also are many trucks here are automatics and stuck in eco or normal mode, then they don't pull hard, but if you have manual or power mode on the truck they pull like beast.
Also depends the torq and power rating on everything, engine, transmission, driveline, ratio of the back axles, ratio's of the transmission gears, torq converter, planetary's (if it's has it) and so on.
DAFs are very lazy trucks?โฆ
theyโre just not made for heavy haulage wouldnโt say they are lazy trucks
XD, the dafs I have driven dont pull a knife out of the butter, scania 440 outpulls daf 480...

I passed my test in a DAF but thatโs the only daf ive ever driven so I wouldnโt know tbh
Haha nice
DAF is so comfortable
True, rides like a cloud
Let's mind our language, shall we?
Probably doesn't even have a license.
Most likely not
Lmao, he deleted the messages.
For US peeps how do you guys feel about western star?

๐
New job
Nice man
nony drives a merc
The trailer is 25 years old
good choice ๐

If it gets good maintenance, that's no problem
Hey, if it works
Dafs are one of the leading manufacturers of heavy haulage trucks.
We have a daf 6x4 plated for 150t
They even offer 8x4 configurations aswell
Back at home
I my self will never buy a heavy haulage daf truck, our Volvo fh500 outpulls our DAF XF 530 in a long while haha
Oh really I didnโt know that, never seen a heavy haulage DAF. Thanks for letting me know
And whats the age diffrence?
Gear ratios?
Etc
2,5 months
Both rear axles around 2,90, both 16 speed power mode, both 8*2 crane trucks, both same load for total weight of 37 tons, same hill, Volvo overtakes daf pretty fast
But the daf is cheaper
So what if it's a few seconds behind on hills, it's more economical for companies so it's a good truck
Yes it is, they drive like a cloud. but I think not the best for heavy haulage
Any truck with air suspension on the front axle with an air ride seat will feel like a cloud, personally I think the new gen scanias are a comfier truck than the new dafs.
Our manual one, when in 4tg the gear stick is touching your left leg,
Can't have the arm rest down as it collides with the gear stick.
Bottle holder is closed off when the arm rest is down too
Massive blind spots caused by the huge dash
But a comfy big bed and a nice asthetic
Easy to use and understand dash and infotainment system. Nice trucks overall but there is better. Anyway I'm out for now, see yous
Looks so nice
Never seen a single one of them.
They're too weak
Volvo, Merc and Scania is where it's at
It's not about the power out put, seen plenty and they make a strong chassis!
One I see often, they make great haevy haul trucks. Not "weak"
Remember, back in the day heavy haul trucks weren't all this 700hp plus stuff, they were in the 500 mark,
Driveline gearing makes all the difference. HP numbers don't mean nearly as much as torque does.
Yeah, 500 is plenty, traction becomes an issue before power does when they're geared like this,
And 700hp won't give you better traction!
Actually that might be true for you there then but not really here, as I said I've never seen a heavy hauler with as low hp as a DAF has here and as far as I am aware the Volvo I Shift is pretty neat for heavy hauls
This looks incredible ๐ฎ
How is that an issue here but not in Sweden where you are? Do the laws of physics work differently there?
Don't ask me I don't drive that just stating the facts that none here use them as they're weak.
Riiight... Well there are dafs here that'll out pull your motor I'll tell you that ๐ค
I'd say that that depends a lot on what you're hauling and where
How?
Lets pretend you're going up a slight hill with a DAF 530 vs Volvo 750 both built for heavy haul you can't seriously believe the DAF has any chance in pulling the Volvo there?
No, it won't out pull the Volvo
The volvo will fly up hills quicker
But if we're talking the steepest of the steepest
Low gear
Power is then out of the window,
It doesn't matter
Yeah but you said it yourself Volvo is quicker and you know yourself that time is money
So no I have never seen any such heavy hauler here as most here are the top of the line from Scania, Volvo or Merc
It is quite tho
Both trucks would be able to climb the same grade of hill, because both trucks would either break something or lose traction before power came an issue
I think DAF would sell a lot more if they did offer some stronger engine similar to the 650
There's a couple 600+ dafs around here that I've seen, mapped ofc. But yes, I agree. They would really benefit in sales
Like for fuel efficiency seeing where we drive our 650 Scanias have a nice economy to them meaning we want to keep those trucks in that engine range which in this case means DAF is out of the question
Yeah that is true
I was referring to my old 650 and that route
But yeah I'm open to trying different brands
They aren't a shower of Shi.. they are decent trucks, just not as high on the power tree
But for heavy haul, they used to be tipiog the tree, or near it. And they're still on the tree now, because they make a strong truck
Boss won't have it tho as we have a company driving under us who have struggled a lot with their DAF meaning our boss have seen a negative side of them also their service network here is potato which is something we rely on a lot
Ah, fair does.
Kings, alleys, west of Scotland, collet. All these big heavy haul companies have had dafs and still have the newer dafs.
If companies like that still get them, it really says a lot. They make good trucks, and value for money they are one of the best.
They are not that weak, just really lazy haha
@uncut vapor Please refrain from sending videos that suggest dangerous driving by using your phone while driving on a public road. Thank you.
nice ๐คฉ

Ooooh, I wish we have snow here
STOP I'm getting jealous XD
You wanna be cold?
I would rather have -20 then +30
And almost sliding in the ditch like I just did?
I like a good winter better then a hot summer, with all problems included
Wow
Movie then night
Working
damn cotton got a tv in his truck
My Dad's got one too but he doesn't mount in the manufactures spot.
Lofot
wtf
๐
This is beautiful
Got to spend the night at the world's largest truck stop. Iowa 80
Please read the pinned message in this channel.
I did, that is part of the experience of my life as a truck driver
Both of those pictures are taken from inside the store. If I can't post pictures of decoration to show my life as a truck driver, then please change the pin
Spending your night at the worlds largest truck stop is apparently not a truck experience anymore.
I've been driving with studless winter tyres for the first time on a truck for four days now and I'm very impressed
This is incredible! I love those old school pickups so much
For trucking in real. Are the police normally nice to you?
Ive seen clips of police being really awful to truck drivers blaming them for anything going wrong that day on the road. Just wondered if its common for the blame to fall on truckers since they are biggest vehicle on the road or if police are normally really helpful
I have never had an issue with the police
Let's celebrate start of winter with getting stuck in a jackknife โ๏ธ โ๏ธ
Woow its looks nice
One chain on the ground was enough
Maybe you put him on your tire
No
Maybe he should've put them on the wheels
Nice truck
Cuz you clonked it
I did not clonk it, whatever clonked means haha
It means hit
Ooh, no I didn't, driver did
Snow, ice and 6x4
where yiu turning and that happend
Nice view!

Nice TGA
360hp / 59 tonnes total
The truck looks nowhere near powerful enough for this load XD
luckily the Netherlands doesnt have hills and I dont drive long distances with it, max 3 hours a day
I operate the wheel loader mainly and when we are done I load up and head to the next place
And my colleague brings a wood shredder with him
Is that combi concidered as a lzv thus may it weigh 60 tons here?
Or is it just overweight๐

XD nice one
Nice then
Why do I need to tilt my head to see this properly? (I like it just fix the orientation so it's easier to see.)
Tilt your screen and stop complaining
Yeah cuz using the function in your expensive smartphone that makes sure that the picture is taken in the correct way is too complicated
That germany?
Netherlands
You trucking in your own company or do they still like the MP3?
S
O
R
R
Y

is it mercedes-benz atego?
Yeah. Freezer box
oh nice, one of the lower ones?
Wdym lower ones?
like this
No. It's 4 meters tall
ahh ok, cuz in scandinavia i feel there are way more of those, 3.3? meter high rigids then here.
Idk about scandinavia but in Finland they're not common
ah ok, didnt know๐ ๐
๐ธ๐ช->๐ณ๐ด
They're not that common
There's a lot more 4.5m ones in Scandinavia or well Sweden and Finland compared to other places
Ahh ok, really thought they were more common there๐
The reason for having such low trucks is often due to that they're operating in cities where as you might then come across a lot of tunnels that are rather low
Especially in bigger cities like Stockholm and Gothenburg etc, in those places they're quite common to get the cargo from the hubs out to the customers
Ahh, makes a lot of sense, here we dont have that kind of trucks, in the big cities here trucks are prehebited, trucks get loaded over to small electric vans at the city line๐คฆ
O wow, that's fancy
I never saw that wtf
Nub
They look like this
They can raise it a bit if necessary due to cargo height
Ahh, that's very handy to have, we have 2 trailers that can raise their roof 60 cm, but they drive for linde, we are the only transporter for linde in netherlands
Linde forklifts
2 of these 3 meter wide trailers we have can also lift roof, 60 cm. (recently got new tractor units)
Oh nice
Can anyone explain why Americans having 45 foot trailer when they got 48 foot trailer? It seems very close compare to others in game (28,32,53)
I guess it has something to do with the law on trailer?
Boo
Ehhhhhhhhh..... I thing your a bit titled....

That sums up my day today ๐
Oof
It gets better when I get the van ๐ for some reason they just put a single wrap on the pallet, they may as well stick a peace of paper to it saying "Yep totally secure" this was Monday and Tuesday
It's possibly me drifting, or there work skills
Morning checks
โ ๏ธLoading in progressโ ๏ธ I hope to god they get it right today Friday I don't want no messing around
axor is starting to become a bit...old?
Your telling me, can't handle stop starts, gear changes makes you feel like your on a bouncy castle, and it can't handle a lode, But the good thing is it's the fastest axor we have 51MPH ๐๐
ok I wanna ask irl Daf XF and XF105 drivers? is it really that the truck engine being so loud....it is in game but idk irl
Not really, in the cabin
:)
but kinda weird while in game when the XF105's engine so loud and I can't even hear to radio
Yea i seen that too ๐ i have my truck engine volume at max low
Painted Mirrors now?
Yup
Still Taken with IPhone 11 Pro Max?
13 Pro Max
Mine arrives in a few days
enjoy it, I love mine
daf 106 is really quiet truck
irl
Guess where I am โด๏ธ
Queuing with another #wannabetrucker I see
is it full of traffic
Yep itโs very busy today actually
@patent bolt
You gonna make van videos now?

the mp5

Happy 6 year anniversary in Miniekspress @patent bolt
Thank you ๐
oh nice, i'm happy for u
nice mp5, what do you think about mirror cam ?
First time it was pretty weird but you get used to it and it's honestly pretty nice

why is there no pics from ryder yet
๐ธ โ๏ธ
awesome
Thanks m8
I always see the pictures from you guys in Northern Europe and I really want to go there lol
You are welcome to visit or come work
would be nice to go there by truck I think
tbh I wouldn't want to live and work there, just visit some time xd
or do you think they would hire some 19 year old from germany to drive there ๐
We have two young Germans, yes I think so.
ah lol
Even if you want to for half a year or a year
German guy only drove here first for the summer. Then decided to come work full time
I want to quit trucking in Summer and do something different anyway, it would probably be a cool experience to drive a truck in Norway for that half year but tbh it would be too much of a change to move from a big city in Germany to the middle of nowhere in Norway barely knowing anyone and without knowing the language lol
No
Last time I posted here, I got told not to post random pictures
Bruh
Late start and early finish I hope only got one drop today ๐ฏ
Looks like baby MAN TGL or TGM
Iโm on my way
Ok I will wait๐

Horses are waiting for you๐

Where did you put the buttons on the steering wheel?
There are no buttons
Vabis steering wheel does not have buttons
But I'll have to order a horn maybe "Hadley868"
Or turkish whistle.
No, from the original wheel, the original wheel had buttons, this one has not... Where did you put the buttons from the original steering wheel?
A orginal steering wheel?
Ok wait
Heโs asking like where did you remap the steering wheel buttons from the standard scania steering wheel, like Cruise control I believe is on the wheel in those scanias
Yea, it is, and all the controls for the Infortainment system
It looks beautiful๐
Ty ty ๐
I don't even think you take it as a job at this point, u drive that truck like we play ets2.. just for fun
No he is always stressed
Got myself a raindeer antler as decoration
I used to have an elephants tusk in my office
Animals have some wicked tusk/antlers/whatever you want to call them
Loading sand for Mondayโ๏ธ

nice truck and trailer
yha indeed
O Hey
hello!

yup
It looking beautiful
Just installed them
I see but still looks beautiful
Also LED fog lights
Funny thing is, its not even his truck nor is he driving it
Woow fog lights also looking good๐
Edit mine
okey
wich one tho
its my dad that drives it but i do get to drive it here and there sooo
i drove it friday
All
emm ok
When dirty boys work, hate using this as a replacement ๐ก I only ask for a clean cab not asking much am I?
yโall got it nice not having it were it bends the chasis
what do you mean im a bit confused
for the end dumps
๐
ahh i see
by far easiest trucking job lol
tippers indeed
Yes
iโm lucky. i work for a concrete company so we pick up at 2 different places for rock depending which plant we go to deliver and 1 place for sand than we go deliver at our plants
pic off google donโt have a pic of my truck dumping, but thatโs what i mean by the frame
ok now i get what u mean
That looks like a lot of stress on a single axle when tipping. Why do they do that
and the second question is, isn't the hydraulic gonna break?
I don't see why, the hydraulics seem to work exactly the same
I just feel like having all 4 or 6 wheels on the ground with a tippable body would be more stable than balancing the whole weight on the rear axle only but idk I'm not a tipper driver
third question- aint that gonna tip over like everywhere on non-flat surface?
This is possible when the tipper is not properly positioned and may tip over under heavy loads
I mean tons
i know
but still you cant load a heavy load into that because of the first two questions
so i think that is just for something light in a flat area
Yes you're right
it just looks like that anything more than 10 tons could be a problem
Yes even and more
in denmark if u have a 3 axl truck and 3 axl trailer u can have 30 to 35 tons
and if u have 3 on truck and 4 on tailer its like 40 tons
soooo
and tipper they haul 40 tons and a small bit more in denmark
a 2 axl truck and 2 axel trailer its up to 42 44 tons
In Poland I I can have on tipper 40 tons max
i see
either the police will give me a ticket or confiscate my car
we only dump on flat surface
you turn off aircond? or the scania has a modified heater?
No itโs not off, what makes you think so?
This is amazing snowโ๏ธ
Tell that to my bum
A is cold
I walked on snow today and didnโt see an icy patch under the snow so I slipped and fell straight on my bum and now it hurts like crazy and I got a cut in my hand ๐
So doing my deliveries today have hurt quite a bit
Ajaj it must hurt
You will do it don't give up๐
Ice is my enemy, I don't want to say what he did to me before
Is very dangerous
I had a sledding accident before when I was young it especially caused me a lot of pain
well, I live in tropical country so I never ever touches a snow so we dunno what it feels like to live in a snow country
Imagine, Me falling off the sled and hitting my head against the ice

That's good for you I guess
Therefore I would prefer to avoid ice
I did that when I was delivering in Tennevoll in the morning. Went to sleep with grass and asphalt and woke up to a plow truck passing me
Go slep nubxii
Ready for tonight a lot of lights will turn on

Why bring
Nor-log

I see my brother young also want to ride my Scania, but he have to grow upโ๏ธ
Just a heads up if you're in the UK heading Hilton Park Services M6 Northbound lane closure, quite a nasty one.
ouch that is nasty
All clean and time to go to bed and watch the latest Chicago Fire episode ๐๐๐ผ
There arenโt anymore boxes to fit tho so yes itโs full
Iโve got my 4 stores on there and 49m3
Also since itโs tempered goods itโs full @queen brook cuz air circulation is necessary
@tawny moth Let's not joke about such things please. Thank you.

I did remove it as I thought I would get a mod say something like that
Shouldn't have posted it in the first place
but donโt overreact the comment wasnโt that bad
It was completely unnecessary and can be seen as offensive

I know because i do the same line lf work
I doubt that
Trust me, we had a whole course on the subject
And you paid attention you mean?
Had to
Oh you tried something new I see then
Wdym?
Paying attention
Nubxii, you got work to do, remember?
Ah yea i did
Because they taught me how to use airocide
Airflow came as a side note
Though there isnt much to learn about airocide
Just keep it on
And stonks aquired
Cleeeearly
Full moon, cold night coming
Tunnel is closed until 23 tho so Iโm not gonna make it all the way north today gonna have to sleep at the ferry dock which in turn probably will affect my work day tomorrow too
Working hard, or hardly working?
Working tomorrow? Nah
Well Iโve been working since 9am this morning so Iโll let you decide
This aint it chief
Yeah Iโm supposed to drive from Narvik to Fauske swap trailer and then towards Bodรธ and then unload some and then back up to Narvik and head home for a short 1 day off
Ive got a few days off
I was exposed to covid yesterday
Lessgoo
Gotta wait for a test result
Ooooof RIP
2 days ago, not yesterday actually
Workmate has it and we were working together loading a trailer
Or well, 6 of us
So now 6 are exposed to covid
Wait it takes 6 Finns to do something it takes 1 of us to do?
We had 10 minutes to load a full flower trailer
So yes, it took 6
Oooof
And solo loading a full flower trailer takes like 30min
Sometimes 40
Depends on what kind of flowers
And are the trolleys any good
that is very rude. Sorry to film other people. If you are in such a situation, you don't want to either.
bet your fun at parties
Nothing illegal in that. Also, you cannot be in public without something recording you. Cars have dashcams, stores have constant surveilance with cameras.
Actually not fully correct tho, if I recall right it is in fact illegal to film or photograph accidents in some countries and you can get fined for doing so
Depends on the situation as well.
Atleast here when going past a accident, if you have a dashcam that only saves the record if you press a button or if you happen to be in a crash, you can't save the video. If you have a dashcam that records and saves everything when on, you can't upload the video anywhere
Yeah but recording/photographing an accident scene with a cellphone is different. I mean sure if itโs a fender bender I donโt see an issue with it but Iโve seen people take pictures of horrible accidents where lives are lost and that disgusts me
Lost a coworker 2 years ago in a horrible head on collision between 2 trucks and pictures from that scene quickly showed up everywhere and it was the last thing I wanted to see, there was basically nothing left of the trucks
Cleaned and ready for the comming week
scania rigids
Yes, up to 1000โฌ fine in Germany. Also making photos of helpless people can be up to two years in prison. Filming an accident and not helping is denial of assistance and can be up to one year in prison as well
Dude donโt post pictures from Google hereโฆ
๐ฟ๐ฟ i took them myself
shoot more angles, and a hand with thumbs up

What
so if its you making the photo
He wasnโt even born in 1996 so it canโt possibly be him

Stop making fun of me other people think you are serious
You can easily see that hand is edited in there, no shadow or anything

Today was not a good day, was loading Ibc's at a chemical plant and the forklift driver did not inspect the ibc before loading,
The ibc had a cracked top and when he drove it into the truck i was in there resulting in that i now have been exposed to 85% formic acid by inhaling
Er visit is booked, headace, scarring of the lungs and vocal chords, shortness of breath and fluid building in my lungs.
Stay safe out there ๐๐ต
Get well soon.
@rugged cape @tawny moth why am i not in trucker lounge

Clearly not since he were asking, but that doesn't mean he deserves to be spoken to in that kind of language

๐ฆ
Please refrain from sending videos that suggest dangerous driving by using your phone while driving on a public road. Thank you.
If you call that driving you need glasses.
Look at the speedometer. =))
He's still driving on a public road
Driving equals operating and youโre not operating something when itโs stationary.
Deedee the rocket scientist
Also pretty sure thereโs a rule against backseat moderating @rugged cape
So
Those who found the driver's license in a bag of chips should immediately hand it in at the nearest police station. ๐ ๐

What if he's drunk in the middle of the road. It's okay if he's going 0km
I hope you're kidding.
Deedee da troll
I got more kms than noxy ๐คฌ
Relax Winter, Deedee is just bored cuz he broke his Volvo again and have to wait while they fix it
Yes and I am Michael Jackson. ๐

๐
I bought you beef jerky be nice
The definition of driving is "the control and operation of a motor vehicle." And @patent bolt parking brake is not engaged so he's technically operating the vehicle since his gear is also engaged.
I can't find this rule
1.01 in #discord-rules
1.9 on website
You're welcome
You a good person

Why do i feel this conversation is funny?
Ban him, high beams on therefore if someone comes round the corner they are blinded and due to this could crash, resulting in him dangerously driving as he is potentially blinding oncoming traffic! #dangerousdriver @rugged cape smh
it was a jokeโฆ ๐ฅด๐ฅด
I found more
Calais Port
how's the traffic?
And before you get upset, that came off my GPS camera. Please don't chastise me .
Not bad camera quality on a GPS.
Last load of the week
Very nice trucks.
merc carry a merc
very nice
Ready for Monday
Mmmm... MP2.
MP2 V8 too
mechanic approved

Koleka low deck
Koleka
Old daffie

Another MP2?! Yo this channel just keeps getting better and better!
Ahahaha lol
Isn't that mp3
Nope this is a mp2 4160 v8
Yep, looks awfully similar to mp3 at quick glance
It changes only the front grill
What you can tell from a MP1 and a MP2 apart is the interior and exterior.
From a MP3 mostly just the exterior.
๐
MP3 < MP4 honestly
nah
tbh I prefer MP3 over MP4
I never understood why people said MP3 is better than MP4 before I started driving myself but it really is
What's wrong with MP4?
Gearbox is shit
Suspension is shit
Not sure if it's the configuration my company ordered but the ones I drove I absolutely hated them
I only ever drove MP4 for a few days to be honest but the seat rocks back and forth on every little bump in the ground and it drives you so crazy
mp3 just feels more comfortable to me
Not gonna lie the MP4 is not bad in ets2 but in real life it's not as what you would call a truck "you can trust"
eats brake discs twice as much as mp3 and clutches too
mostly after 5-6 years a new engine is needed
@outer current Please mind your language
Classic MP4 broken down
What? Because I said shit?
Not broken, just need oil
Truck form my work, driver is fine
Yea it is very soft in this area and that truck loaded weights about 40 tones
So he didn't stand a chance when he got into it
Ooof. And liquid. Centre of gravity would've moved, so no saving it...
It's bulk animal feed
Ohhh. Still.
You can see in the first picture that the side of the road is just entirely gone
Yep
why isnt truckersfm working
volvo fm
The most important thing is that everyone is safe and healthy
Exactly
That's it you got BLM I'm going to start VLM Volvo Life's Matter! All it's going to do is create pointless reasons to be a movement and make riots against Scania.
Lol
Oof
When my HGV needed the toilet badly ๐ถ

Oof coolant?
Yhaaaaaa man
someones gonna be needing a new cooler
and on an mp3
The truck needs a new cooler so do i
So cute
congradulations! @pale portal ๐
well its not mine
by new i meant the model kenworth just released
thats a pic i pulled off the internet
suppose i could have worded it better XD
Lol, thought you meant it was yours :P
nah sorry, i wish lol
unfortunately I dont have 150k burning a hole in my pocket
i've always liked w900s
something about an 80 some inch sleeper with a shark sized nose
lol. same. also like the 389s. what are your thoughts on the w990 @pale portal
i dont know any technical details, but they dont look bad at all
i dont really like this tho
the extended top?
I like the w990s. had one pull up to me the other night and turned on his blue accent/underglow lighting. it was a pretty sweet truck ๐
nah just the shape of that triangle
its makes the rest of the truck look out of place imo
Well finally got upgraded at swift from training, and had a choice between 3 shitty trucks so I took this one. Cummins X15 efficiency (400hp, 1750lb torque) 10 speed. So basically like the default in ATS lol. Don't worry unlike most of the guys who work for swift I know how to not hit shit lol.
XD, hey at least its a little easier to get into swift than some other companies, especially helps that you know what ur doing
@thick cedar Mind your language please
Please read the pinned messages, next time you feel the urge to post a random truck pic here. Thank you.
