Mine is a work vehicle too, in fact pretty much all trucks you see on thew road are work vehicles. They still get cleaned because a clean truck is a clean company!

Err, no. Not just on TMP. I mean the general trucking community. They just look good. Its why you see them the most. Theyre popular for a reason, cost the most for a reason. They are just damn good. And a lot of people care about looks, its their company, they want to look smart. And everyone likes looking at clean, smart looking stuff.
They didnt get to the point there at now with horrible reliability and bad looks. They look good, work good. And pull the best. They just simply, are one of the best wagons on the roads.

what is annoying with these cameras, is when you are at night, the light beam of cars gives 'bloom' to the camera when it is dirty. Complicated to drive with that, when it breaks down... go drive without a mirror especially with a truck
I don't like the mirrors but the interior with the screens is nice but the mirrors are all broken.

Yes, and cars with led light flicker, can be really distracting. And in the rain you also see nothing, and another big problem is that is you break a camera, the truck does not start anymore, not all of the mercs have that but ours do, then you have to wait for Mercedes to come and put a normal mirror on it...

I know, but on our trailers there is a safety function that of the abs does not get electricity, then the trailer pulls the electricity from the lights.

I am actually positively surprised by it
it's stable on the road even when running empty with the tag lifted, neat interior and dashboard, I love how they've moved the entertainment system like up and out so I can finally navigate it when stilling sitting back as usual, on the old Volvo I gotta like bend forward to reach the entertainment system. Changed the cup holders to more stable and solid ones and a bunch of that
Also comes with a neat "dead angle" camera on the right side so which turns on when you turn on the right indicator and you're also able to turn it on with a button on the dash which is quite nice when reversing round tricky corners
Also a cool feature is that there's back light on the sides of the speedometer dash which is white but turns green on any side you may be indicating towards when you have your indicator on

It is yes, I think this one is around 3 or 4 years old and has 656 000km on it, we usually replace all of our trucks in our fleet after 2 years ish, some we keep up to 3 years.

Actually since we're above the Arctic Circle up here they use way less salt on our roads during winter compared to further south, but yeah keeping them clean during those messy winter months is a nightmare

I'm honestly disappointed with SCS and some of their truck modelling, like how they seem to think that all newer trucks with a tag axle needs to have this insane axle distance between them, just look at the Next Gen Scania for example, way longer axle distance than necessary
