You know whats worse
there's worse?????
They once had an accident there, the heavy forklift was taking heavy pallets at the nose of the trailer and it toppled over forward
That's not optimal
what is that
Its delayed the unloading quite a bit yeah
Bundesstraße is almost everything that's not a highway
Btw bring cash with u
Oh?
If you get fined you have to pay on the spot in cash
If you don't have cash they'll bring you to an ATM
But fines are like 100s or 1000s
Few hundred max
is it similar to an "erftoegangsweg" that we got here
No basically N wegen
And not all German restaurants and toilet buildings accept cards so you need cash for that too
Legos be like: i know these spots where nobody else parks, ill tell you where they are. Btw bring lots of cash. Hmmmm
Sshhh
extra income
Yeah how is that about parking, in belgium i see the trucks parked on off and on ramps when its full. I know thats illegal but police doesnt care. I assume in germany you get fined for being 1 meter outside of the parking spots or something?
Nope
90
Or go home
BAG cant fine you for that. They dont have the authority
So only police you need to worry about
That's why they let the police pull you over
They couldve just kept the whole as warehouse on floor level

plenty of room obviously
just need wheelchocks gauranteed cuz hill
70 or 80 is fine
Escape the shithole challenge
the other side of the warehouse in on 'floor level', but this side is just the lower side of the hill.
woah, the weather might be terrible at times but no need to call the netherlands a shithole
It absolutely is though
put your name on it
i let it roll to 110 downhill loaded, trust me its more stable than a jeep at that speed xd, but yeah corners shit and such nah but for straights its fine
savage
if the boys are thirsty in atlanta, i would let it roll to 130. if i was a trucker.
one forklift and its downhill, id be annoyed having to unhitch my trailer for their stupidity
trust me when i have a 20ft tank on that weighs 25ish tons
ill be getting out the tunnel at 70/75 if there isnt a polish dipshit infront whos empty doing downhil on cruise with engine brake and htus doing 70
to then remember oh yeah i can hit the gas and pulls off while im stuck with his stupid slow driving climbing out the tunnel
I have

Wtf happened
Dude overtook me
The slowed me from 90 all the way to 70 cuz ur wanted to take the upcoming exit

If you're going to load 2 20ft containers, 1 weigh 20 000kg the other 10 000kg. Which you put in front and which back.
B-b-baka! Sensei teached me drive only 80 in germany!
You did it wrong, you let of the horn
20front
10bucks
Back
Cause otherwise u putting most weight on rear lift front
Same here
I love driving with colleagues but this is amazing cuz its the driver that has been at Wessels the longest
Dudes been driving for 40 years
A real boomer
Light 15 hour shift
I remember my first part-time job
The fk are u on about
Thats not part time
Man discovers joke:
nice polo in pictyre
idk VW's are never in the wrong so please make space for them!
Light work no reaction
#irl-media would be a very good place to post those, since I highly doubt that you actually drive any of them
Off the curtainsider perc
he owns some of them XD
Sure he does
They always are
Germany my beloved
Accident on both sides of the road, just 100m apart
Aquaplaning more than likely both
volvo fh16?
FH13
dad made it 150 downhill once with an 12to :D
nah autobahn was straight and empty
I'm worried about the engine or was he in neutral^^
happened once but it was bec (as always) drivers cant focus on the road but need to film every accident they come across
always make room for a volkswagen golf
or someone german with an M on their plate, just for your own safety
especially within munich
yeah changing the lanes without indicator and I has to brake
Sex
I only got flashed twice in like two minutes doing 89 on the autobahn lol
First was in a 80 limit so I understand but the 2nd time was in a 100, didn't know they differentiated between cars and trucks
Thats just being stupid, everywhere in europe its 80 for a truck, except for France and Belgium those are 90
Still didn't know the cameras differentiate
Sweden has 90 on highways and UK has 96 too

Gonna pull a risky stunt
Gonna cut right across the black forest
2.5 hours of bundesstraße
Either that or 2 hours in traffic at pforzheim
Which is only gonna get worse
Have fun
99% they wont even send anything after u
I flashed a camera going 90 on a 60 limit 1 year ago, still nothing
Germany and their outdated 60 limit for trucks on 2 lane roads
I have become Italy main
4 weeks, Lubeck to Italy and back takes 4 days though
My shift is 4 weeks that is
Right so 3 weekends in truck
Ye but not like it matters, weekends are spent at our terminals where we have everything you would find in a home
Theres rooms to sleep in but I like sleeping in the truck so cant be bothered
Ah u got terminals all over the place i geuss?
and yeah if i had aces to that stuff id still sleep in my own truck lol
rather not sleep in a bed lots of people sleep in
Aalsmeer, Maasdijk and Lübeck
must be a tiny one in aalsmeer tho
Big enough to fit 3 trucks
Sooooo, I passed me C practical examen, however failed the C95 one miserably
Probably can't drive anymore this year 💀 yiehaaa
How
the practical shit is easy
especially if no inspection
just automatic pass
unless u show ur examinator ur really bad xd
no, my instructor didnt say specific how to drive
He said my style was okay and I should pass easily - so I drove even more careful and yet I failed.
He literally said, imagine you drive super fragile cargo not stripped down.... that careful I have to drive
yeah, in 2 weeks I have the next test....
yieha.... 200€ more 💀
Tf u have to drive that slow for
It’s a parkour on closed property and a don’t hit the poles or you fail
yall countries differ with exams you know that?
Yep...and our Code 95 test aint on the parkour place... its on the road under real driving. Of course it was rush hour and all them kids had school out when I drove, causing all 30 kmh school zones zo be filled with all them kids.
lol
Module 1 is the most stupid one
But easiest if you just need it for a rv or grocery store that type a crap where u don’t need 95
Well, I had the Theory C + E Test, then I have the C + C95 + CE Test (but in my case C and CE are splitted simply because too many want to have the truck license, yet only one truck is available) - and once the practical examen is done you have the theory C95 Test at the professional driver registration office 😄
Something ain't right
Woman and truck? Sorry my bad jokes
you tell us
happens?
Didn't hear anything but it was a German truck
Which is unlucky since I've heard they don't send it out to foreign trucks
They do
Quick trip before next weekend off 😴😴
Nice
You have got to be kidding me…
For context, that entrance is to the HGV only fuel pumps, and I’m of course pulling a trailer
Guy in the 7.5t truck claimed he had broken down but moved over to the left more, the BMW just said “Oh well, no signs here” when I told him to move. Conveniently a police car was fuelling up so I asked them to tell them to move and they of course obliged.
Could be limp mode and mechanic said don’t move it and he did for you lol
Besides the point, parking in front of a tight enough entry for HGV fuel is a stupid thing to do
Limp mode or not, he chose to place his truck there. The area he was in was big enough to choose a more sensible place
but shade
New trucks😎 3x DAF XG 530
tededem
very important
like we all know, car drivers are never in the wrong. only the trucker for skill issue
driving a ''small'' truck again?
Yes. Drove the HCT last night
Real

i mean @lucid birch goes 60ton in his tipper
Proper criminal 😎
Proper equipment
ew a sisu
look at them axles up
i only have 1 liftable axle
omzet?
english in this chat!!!
nee!!!!!!!
yes, omzet
moneywheels
How are the Halogen lights at night time
have to drive with highbeams 24/7 that's how good they are
I want to do truck driving.. what is the process of getting there?
get a license
thats step 1
then get a employeer
thats step 2
then start working
thats step 3
Get a licence
Sit for months
How hard is that initially. Getting s trucking job will sure be hard
Im 16 as of now. So got good amount of time
Where are you from?
England
i think there are many companies in england that want to pay for your driver license.
because there is a shortage of drivers.
So might be smart to email some logistics companies that has their own trucks.
but make sure you have your car license. 😄
average bmw driver in the uk
Can confirm
Il be getting that asap
I want to do it. Because I have a big liking for trucks. For being able to just. Travel the world. I want to go to norway alot
Norway is beautiful
Probably becoming an international truck driver in england would be quite hard i think.
due to brexit and its quite expensive to take the ferry.
Ah yea.. hopefully they fix brexit. All the costs and things are terrible. And the government think handing benefits out is all that needs to happen (which is just invalidated by tax anyway)
Rejoining the union means better cost of living..
Nobody will pay for your license unless its a megacorp. Taking a bet on some nobody because they "want to drive trucks" sadly is not a thing that happens.
Dont know about the "driver shortage" in the UK.
But here in Sweden the driver shortage is somewhat of a complicated issue. Theres a shortage of local/distribution drivers. And a shortage of drivers who are up too any good. But none who are up to any good are out of a job..
what rowan means, is that in nl there are plenty of companies big and small who pay your license and you work for them for 3/4 years
big or small companies definity want to pay for your license.
you just have to work there a x amount of years
or pay the cost back.
They can get subsidized aswell
im not saying they all get subsidized did i
im just saying they "CAN" get subsidized
doesnt mean they do get subsidized or use it
ur just dumb
Yes that exists. But then your "stuck" with an employer who may or may not be any good.
Thats why u try to work there a bit before
in a different position perhaps
so u know how the company is
before u get stuck in something for years
first smart then capri has ever said
@jade tangle, capri is swearing
Well. I for one would never get myself in such a contract..
are u even a truck driver?
Yes
either u start and u find a different employer when u got your license who will "buy over" your study debt
or u pay off yourself and leave
or u just ride it out till the times over
im gonna have 1 year i must stay
and looking at it for the comming 3 months most likely i wont even have a truck yet
as scania is super slow building up the new rigid
No, ive got a one year
if i leave before i must pay back 50%
otherwise i must remain one year
Doubtfull
Here in Sweden the standard for such contracts is 5 years..
here in the netherlands its 3-5 years
Mine is 1
it really depends on the company aswell
if they finance it themselves 100% its usually a few years
An how much did they get to scam you off your salary?
0
or theyre taking some but its so minimum i havent seen
and they wont begetting that amount that theyve paid lol
ok 6.50 a month i see
thats fk all
"soob"?
Well.. not in the sense that you get paid "less" but your ability to negotiate is GONE
Yea
every truck driver pays that
its standard in "CAO"
every truck driver pays that to improve the trucking industry
Yeah so in that case my costs are 0 then
How come they are paying? Been with them for a long time?
No
people got hired and they were starting license within 2/3 months
😄
its just normal
yes i wanted to get my truck license
but in the eyes of my company i am getting it for them
so they paid everything
including my hours at exams / driving lesson / in class lessons for theory etc
Well how much is your hourly rate?
My pay?
Yep
that aint none of your business
Ballpark number dont need exacts..
Well so im currently still in van
as my truck isnt empty due to us waiting for a new one
but ive been paid as truck driver salary since day 1
so when u getting ur trailer license?
and ive been working here almost 2 years
Usualy 1 year roughly after u got c
as they want us to get experience first with c
isnt it smarter to get trailer right away
🤷♂️
yes
because then the driving instructors dont have to unteach u alot of stuff again

if new truck takes too long they might just say go get ce to me
or maybe to another driver whos in c for a bit already
Well any good driver can adapt driving to a given situation anyways.. no need to unteach...
Well
yes
but for driving exam
u have to do everything 100% according to the book
even tho in real life it happens differently
I know... No shit
Just about any respectable/good driver can adapt they "normal" driving to fit a driving test with low effort..
Well if uve been driving for a good while
doing stuff they wont allow for exam
sure u can adapt
but it takes a bit
its not just instant
.
I guess migrating wouldnt be a big issue. But that will have to be if i really wanted to do truck driving.
😴
i got my licenses out of School for free, didn't have to pay anything
might be uk companies that haul their trailers on the ferrys without truck and have a entity business in eu to be based there and just has trucks drive there but they dont takethe ferry each few days but once a month to go back for their rest n shit
the benefit is cause its for worktheyre more lenient, i wasnt folowing the look all wau trough the mirrors in order before hitting signal
just looked in mirror and turned it on and then went
jjust keep looking lot they oversee lot of other shit
@lucid birch btw if u get it trough soob vs go apply company and they stary it
u either have a 1year contract with 24hr a week minimum contract
or a 2year with 12hr minimum a week contractn
how expensive is the license in Europe?
I paid 2900€ - but since I booked 2 driving units additionally and didnt pass C95 in first test, so now my total is 3.600€
Around 7.000 euro for truck and trailer (CE)
Is normal. Some fail a theory test some fail a driving test.
My CE costs me €7.709,86.
I failed every theory exam once
I failed C driving exam once
I failed CE driving exam once
(Soon new CE exam)

but thats expensive
if I would not have failed in any single, it is 2,800€ here 😄
i mean tbf thats a real skill issue if u failed everything once
and then its still cheap if under 8k tough
C CE + Yrkeskompetensbevis 3800€
but i assume @rapid warren u didnt take any classes for exams and did self study
most here go trough classes per exam shit and then take exam so that adds up too
no, you have to attend classes which is included already
Yup, 140 hours of classes mandatory for the "YKB" in Sweden...
damn shit is cheap then
Me?
maurice but yeah cheap in sweden too
yrkes shit is assume the code 95crap so u can drive commercially where transport is the companys business model stuff
C OR CE?
Bang on
Oops caps
nub
Ur mom
C95E 🙂
And ur from belgium?
Well i spent about 1500€ total on 2 driving lessons, and truck rental for the tests...
Which makes them about 400€ per hour..
2 lessons to get a truck license is wild
Thats how we get bad drivers with white license plates

Grew up on a tractor😉 already knew how to back up a train
Im happy that dutch truck driving standards are high
It costs a bit more but we have many good drivers here.
They are here too.. its very very uncommon to get by on only 2 lessons..
But we are seeing an influx of shit drivers lately. Mostly 18 yearolds who got their licences through school..
LNG i see
Yup
For c + e after?
I got told mine is 6969 wonder of thats with +E already paid for in advance
Yes, for C95E 😄 the only things which I have to pay additionally is the doctor to check up on you (e.g. when needing glasses/lenses, hearing aids or any medical stuff like high/low blood pressure or any medication) and the first aid help course (which I already had for the car) and the bill for the actual license card you get, as the temporary license paper only is valid 4 weeks and only in austria.
Dont your employers pay for that shit?
Fkn cheap
I know my friend in england got his c+e cuz he wanted it
He doesnt even drive truck
But he got it all together including theory etc within a week
No clue what he paid tho but it wasnt more then 5000
Well before you get a job ofc, but the mandatory C95 renewals and doctors checkups are an employer issue in my book..
I tried applying for companies who'd pay for the license and funnily enough, I never got a reply. Then I faked an application and sent it out from another provider and look, if you already got a license, they can answer
so yeah. I do it to finally being able to do what I wanted to do since I was a little kid 😄
trucks always fascinated me - same goes with buses
Not an issue.. its the C95/YKB// thats the issue
yeah, thats true
greek is even cheaper iirc
Yea no shit they wont reply, i meant the running costs down the line.. not getting it in the first place..

obv if I had a company as well, I would prefer people who already have a license and the Code 95 tbf
but not even sending out an rejection email is really harsh tbf
Agreed, at least if they had a position advertised...
He wont need it anyways
As he doesnt drive commercial
He just wanted to have it xd
Fair.
it's good you have a passion like this that you can build a living from
Looking at a specific side of the industry? Construction, Dryvan, Reefer, etc. ?
I know what I definitely don't want to drive 😂
Which would be living animals, any kind of fluids* / gases / explosives, construction
I prefer dryvan / cooled goods / pallet ware
* -> except Milk.
Pallets get boring quick, i do Dryvan focused on direct to construction deliverys. Its a challenge, i like it.
Read, Drywall, lumber, cement, etc Factory > Construction site
Well, I want to drive international. Not in the beginning, so I can get used to the protocols and all that stuff what comes up on one. But after like 3 - 6 months? I wanna change into international driving. I love driving routes
Dont be in a hurry, 6 months is nothing. International driving brings its own problems. Trust me you will have problems getting people to do what they need to even in your own country. 😉
yeah, I can guess so. But I don't wanna drive the same route over and over again, otherwise I could've stayd in my old job (post guy) always the same route, same adresses and whatnot. That tired me at some point 😄
I wanna see some of europe whilst doing my job. I know, lousy excuse, but it is what it is
Well, we have a certain set of fixed routes. Maybe 2 days a week. An the other 3 we are all over Sweden 👍 in my book the perfect combo. Keeps the stress down to do things you already know very now and then
okay, that's actually something I'd like to have as well tbf.
Most important thing is finding a company where you get along with your bosses/leadership. And to find something that fits you. Worrying about what to do next every day is not nice. Also, shit happens, you will break things, punctures happen, equipment fails. As long as you did your best, its okay. Be honest with leadership
Yeah, that's true. Same with my old boss.
In personal super nice and awesome, but when it comes to the company, she's the biggest assh.... on earth, not gonna lie. I disliked that.
I don't need an overcaring boss, but also not a minimanagement boss, I'm confident I can drive alone 😂 But yeah, I got you.
Yeah, shit already happened. I crashed in a car or in a garden fence causing 20k€ on damage. Happens. But I tried to do my best.
Well im running on 4 years without even a fender bender in the truck.. but lost my drivers license for a month for drifting and got tasked with shop duty for the time.. they didnt like that..
ouch
But yeah, I'm rather afraid of driving in snow. Never really drove real KMs on a road, then I start driving when potentially snow could be there?
me
Dont see the snow as the enemy👍 snow is fun in a car and a challenge in the truck. Dont worry too much, its the black ice that will get you in trouble not snow😉
😅
black ice caused me to crash a 3.5t van into a garden fence
I knew the road was icy, yet I decided to drive on it, because the customer was waiting for their parcel.... once I let off the brakes the car gained too much speed too quickly, causing the brakes to fail and me slipping right into a garden fence with 40km
Now make that van 64 tons. Well in your case 40?
Same difference. Trucks are very good in subpar conditions. But once the grip is gone.. its GONE
40 yes, 44 for the pre/post run in combined traffic (e.g. train/ferry)
yeah, thats why I am kind of afraid of it.
I'd drive on that conditions max 40 - 50 kmh 😄
to be fair if I even would drive at all 🤣
where I live snow is quite rare. Basically nonexistant. But IF it snows, then everything is under snow 🤣 and people panic and the roads are even less safe.
You worry too much😉 if you dont keep the speed youll be stuck spinning in an uphill..
of course I'm worried 😄
Learn to strechbrake
I only drive inappropiate if the conditions are 1A fancy weather. Once it rains / snows or the littlest tad is off, I drive as rule conform as possible 😄
It does wonders for stability in shit conditions
Luckily tonight I don't have to drive 90kmh on cruise. Can chill with 80kmh cruise
nice 😄
stretchbrake is what? I mean, I can guess what that is, but I better ask to not mix it up
Hell yea👌 whats your max comfortable free roll?
I have it set on +5kmh
Gas and brake/trailerbrake combined, makes the truck understeer(go straight) while still reducing speed.
ahhhh, okay, then I mixed it up ^^ but yeah, makes kind of sense.
While pushing 90? Ours would let go all the way out to 100+ that way😂
I usually run 82+10 which keeps it below 97.
iSave so it starts to roll way before a downhill. Usually doesn't go above what I set on the cruise control
Yea same, not going over is odd. Guess that is hidden settings. BTW switch the shifting program to anything but economy. It will keep more speed over the hills 👌
Ehh, I don't mind losing little speed when going uphill
What i meant is the shifting program ties into the iSee system.. not just shifting sadly..
As I said, I don't mind losing a bit of speed going uphill
In tunnels I use my momentum and go downhill at max 110, to get out the tunnel at 75 if fully loaded 😂
Sounds like you dont have a tacho..
i do
but thye can see u aint giving any gas, engine is in neutral\
tunnels here be steep to get out if ur 40tons or more
empty it does fine but if loaded yeah u wanna get speed downhill or ull exit at 50
wich i had before too wich aint fun
@formal minnow Rotterdam Centrum time once again
Hate going there but must get that bread
Tilburg and Maasdijk
Just leaving Arnhem, or trying to
But mucho traffico
Arnhem is ass
Unless i gotta load there i always avoid

Yes I’ll just pull the air compressor out of my arse shall I
Idk we have our trucks parked at base and can just air up after 7 am when one of the guys come and unlock the garage
Heck roadside when mechanic come they grab the hose out truck and run it off supply line 😂
Glad i have a 15 meter hose
Well yeah ur your own mechanic and I bet u have air tools and a spare
Mornings
€685 ticket if you get stopped with that in Norway. (1200kg too heavy on truck)
Max weight for the truck alone is 28 tons, 68 tons for the whole unit
Wish we had it in Norway aswell

Wrong channel
Which channel is correct
Cool IRL Trucking Video & Music.
Not enough red ligjts
Cba to get more as of now
Had an impact with a bus today..
4 yrs of trucking without as much as a scratch.. and this a**hat decides to cross a white line
And just dives off..
Got caught 40 min later.. licence revoked.
Great success
atleast he got caught
so u got someone to get money from for damage
Hello nub
rip that's pretty 💀 a lot of people becoming dead

shouldnt of kicked it
Wow that camera when blinkers are activated is so cool
HCT requirement
Sorry, whats HCT? Is it 3 trailers?
25.26m or longer combination. Requirements kick in for 28+ meter combinations
lol, it was already kaboom
ik but u made it worse clearly
Yoo thats so long for a truck. I wish you luck and respect 🙏👏
This is the truck I drive
Woww so cool 😍
Is it even possible to park backwards???
Yes. It's surprisingly easy
I tried 2 trailers in ets2. It didnt go well 💀
Anyways, i dont even have a driving license irl
@jade tangle or @lean oracle still complaining about proof?
Surprisingly not. At least TimTims isn't
Sorry, one more question
How old should I be to drive one of these?
“Kicks it” like it wasnt flat

Im geussing aslong as the dolly doesnt reverse wrong it steers like a dream
Hard to explain

Ah yes, HCT
Why u guys not driving them in nl
Obv with a shorter combi here but
No damage.. just a folded in mirror... Bus drivers...
What
someone gave u a truck/
Yeah if it could go inside please 😂
Scam
@jade tangle
That gives me GTA 5 winter season vibes if yk yk
Wish I got trucks for going to concerts
pay 50 euro, get a free truck
Parked, nicely parked on a backroad
a e s t h e t i c
damn bro thats awesome
and this one tho
too*

😂
Some tacho-clever drivers here? I have this annoying tacho that, instead of counting down to a 45 minute break, it counts down to a 15 minute break after 2,5 hours of driving. When it exceeds the 2,5 of driving it will just show 00:00 minutes in display until you have your 15 minute break. When youve had your 15 minutes it will count down the remaining time to the remaining 30 minutes.
It is not possible to have a 45 minute break without having to move the truck after 15 minutes or else it wont register the remaining 30 minutes.
Is there a setting somewhere or am i just unlucky with this pos tacho?
Probably the tacho is programmed that way
Best to ask ur tacho technician when it goes for certification to look at it
I would go down to a garage, its not meant to do that
Damn tiny electric
just don't get it ignited
just one more trailer
As Capri said, but you can just ignore it, unless your employer wants it that way.
I'm thinking about getting a heavy vehicle license, I worked in a office but I can't fathom going to work behind a computer again
this channel is my therapy, looks like hard work but fun and I love the passion
keep driving see if it adjust time as clearly u always stopped then and see what it does if it doesnt add up time oir continues driving time, keep track urself and after ur 4,5 take ur 45
I wonder how many of you Dutch drivers I have passed IRL
(I'm not a truck driver IRL sadly)
Need to pay proper attention tho
as itl just say 0 vs actual driving hours
Depends if ur on the road always yourself
Why are UK trucks all 6x2 and 6x4??
wait a sec, I thought the law in Finland to operate 6x4 only when using HCT, no?
My Polo is better, it’s 4x2
Maybe multiple, as there are atleast 4 dutch drivers active here
Why does uk use 6x2 and 6x4 trucks only?
if you have a 6x2 you can be 44 ton instead of 40 with a 4x2
auy ur not dead
why would I be? 🤨
cuz u rarely active
Too much work man, no time for discord during the week
my scooter is better, it's 2x1
Oh k
We… don’t?
It is more cost effective for companies to be at a higher gross weight. For example cemex use the ftp axle as it still allows them to be at 44 tons but they only carry cement dust
Then for their half pipe they use the ftg or the ftn axle
Every one i see on yt are 3 axle
There are plenty of 4x2 units on our roads
The minor damage from a bus crossing a solid white, the front of the box is from and old incident of a colleague
Yep, legos you rowan and me, capri doesn’t count
Mine 3x1
one powered wheel?
He counts for half
Nah
🤨
unicycle
motorized unicycle?
But I've seen more 6x

Tell simon loos to hurry up and deliver to our AH
He already got a door, and one of them that came later also has a door, i'm still waiting
is this near tiel?
it looks familiar

Oss
Show me to ur left
Plus
i mightve been here
it always has a door
Ah have not been
is this the new one next to the highway?
a28 i think
im tired so
how much is the income in dutch for ce driver? i would like to come work there from italy
not much if ur a immigrant lol
theyll do whatever to pay u as little as possible
or are u trying to move over here
lol immigrant is not right cuz we are in europe mate
Well your moving to a country ur not from
so you are still a immigrant
just not from a weird country
Junction A59/A50
best highway
Yes
never that busy
cuz near utrecht u can just fkn drive all the way to groningen
with barely any lane changes
very nice yes
for me is the same i do international but i think maybe in dutch is better the salary
ud have to move
maybe is just my tought
if u want this kinda salary lol
yea sure move there and take home and everything needed for work there
Last truck of the day here
truck got off the highway at 100+ and lost control, stay safe dont speed🙏 (no deaths car was empty)
Wow long waiting time
They don't have limiters in your country?
Hi guys, I've got some pictures of some of the trucks my dad and I have driven. I was wondering if I could share them?
@rustic ferry if they are iveco u can keep them for yourself 🤣
🤢🤮 🤣kenworth only, mate
If its not ur truck then #irl-media
One was, the others aren't
He can’t even post it
U can let ur run out just don’t have gas, can go downhill as fast as h let it go
Yes but the truck did not slow down when getting off the highway to a normal road and lost control
Ah ok
Fun sight to see when u spend 2 n half hrs to get ur container on truck to see it took a guy 5m of the terminal and 3 minutes to lose his
Hell that was close
Nah
U got 8 mins left
8 minutes is nothing man
Rookie numbers
4 hours 31min driven
🫡
I did worse than that 4h58
calling police
Havent seen you in a while
you should check #car-talk more often
I dont have a car, so i dont tend to haha
Rookie numbers
Old truck with paper tacho from 8am to 4pm then normal tacho at night shift
That's how I did it in the very start of driving, now they opened too many weight stations
Imagine having weight stations 😂
Time to wait till 12
New truck for @lean oracle
460
not a depressing view at all 😦
Also what is that score?
Driver score, how you use the engine brake and how much you let it roll/anticipate
Not 100%, u fail
bad driver
I'm always between 85 and 95%
We only accept 100% here im afraid, back to CBR u go
You never saw the score of other drivers in the company, some get scores of 30%
Eek
Have my curtains closed, so don't see it
good
Some days when i drove night, and someone else drove at day, my score at night was 90+ when i parked, when i came back the next night, the score was sometimes in the 40's and they just drove 100 to 200 km at max
Such bad drivers
That means they drove so bad, that if it was reset, it would show in the 20's
They just don't care about it
I can drive for 2 or 3 weeks with my rims almost not collecting brake dust, others drive 2 days, and the rims are completly black already
That’s a tiny tiny baby truck, it’s perfect for capri
Does having fully black rims after driving 2k international mean you’re a bad driver?
Asking for a colleague
Some get them black here after only 500 km
We have that aswell in the netherlands
But its build into the highway roads
Sensors in the road.
U get pulled over if someone is available
Lol
if
So u hit left lane the
There is the same scale
Scales in the road?
so u use the shoulder
Its also in there
Yes
simply drive over the grass then
also what if my polo is flagged as too heavy
I wouldve lost my license long ago if we had that
They read the license plate, if a truck of a certain company is often to heavy they will first sent a letter to the company or do a visit, and if it still continues, they will pull trucks over and do a proper scaling on them, and fine them, and if its your first time, and yoy are way to heavy the truck will be flagged down, and stopped as soon as they can
If 3 lane only 2 right ones do
Yea, but you will be flagged automaticly if you drive on the 3rd lane
Had no cam?
Has a cam
Mhm guess never paid attention to it
Wtf? I scrub brakedust every 3 months, average drive score 98.
Today my score was 91%, considering the route i had, its a decent score
96 today, horrible route, 3 construction site deliverys...
VEB enginebrake is good shit tho and doesnt deduct score
Had lots of highway driving, but also inner city driving, and a few small towns where sidestreets had the right of way, but 91 still isn't a bad score
Yup, score is heavily load and route dependant
With lots of city driving my score will be lower, but lowest will be low 80's, but some in the company just don't care and drive just in the 30's/40's
Yupe, im the highest average at the company 98. Never been below 85, but i do 150km+ construction deliverys. So everything is relative..
Also dive through Stockholm EVERY day which should lower score, but once you get into the Stockholm flow you will get better mileage than on the HW..
@pliant basin Maybe you saw me sometimes
Oh jeeh, I often see this truck
Heyaaa
Hello I am a future trucker! Its my dream job so far and I want to ask if you guys have any advice on how I can find an good company to work for. And what if i start my own company what trucks I should use?
pretty sure you cant afford the costs to start your own company + having your own fleet 😄
I'd go with a company of your liking on what you'd like to haul.
what i learned are that the companys who let rookies do the unthinkable
i learned on a heavy cargo company (STL Logistik) and i loved it
you see the unrealest things and you also get invited to see and if you got the license even drive special transports
im now at a company STL owns
Nice, what companys would you recommend for starters?
I wanna start with easy cargo
which country
really easy is what i do. i drive steel. heavy asf but really really easy job for load unload. rooftop trailer open and loaded by crane. most times 1 object with 2m length is about 25ton and youre maxed
Sweden
hmmm
i would try steel if there are options next
I can try. But a quick qestion is it hard to backup a trailer?
this is a example. this are 28 tons
First time yes
After a bit nope
Do it slowly and its easy
No compare to the simulator. Irl i can back up in anything
I cant do shjt ingame
Whats the longest destination u have ever driven in irl?
And a funny fact
Literally all truck drivers can back up trucks with 18m
But noone can really drive a car backwards xD
Steel is the good thing youre pretty local most of the time
Great for rookies
My longest tour was 200km away
Nice. Whats ur Favorit truck? Tbh I like Scania the most
u have pretty much the same customer list.
its a long list but if you drive a few months they will know u and will be nicer
scania
but i drive MAN
What does it look like?
for example at thyssenkrupp i get free coffee unlike others
or get better loading slots
@minor minnow
Nice high beams
yaa but illegal
Why is it illegal?
weird german laws
Do you drive around countries?
Or is it only in germany?
in germany youre allowed to have 6 lights at once into the front
that means
2 normal light
2 normal high beams
3 high beams on roof
and in theorie 5 position lights
different anywhere
3 only?
3 what?
High beams on roof
Oh
but i got 4 by regular light and highbeam and 3 lights on my roof
so i have 7
and in theorie i have 12 because of that 5 position lights
Is the high beams expensive?
yaa
i dont know the exact price but i heard with that strobes, pos lights and highbeams in black by Lightfix is around 7-10k
the whole bar
Wow thats alot
good thing thats equipment the company does
Do you own your truck or is it company owned?
company
Is it hard being a trucker with yk family and stuff?
i dont have family i dont care
lightfix is the second most expensive one
if you want the cables to be prepared for the lights they build on it for you they want 400 €
only the bar without LED or anything is 4999€ from what i researched
Dang 4999€
without lights or anything
What does your truck look like ingame?
just the damn metal
METAL? For 4999€!?!
thats something for other chats
yaa
When you work for a company cant you use your own truck if u have one or must i have an own company to use my own truck?
Yes
u cannot be driving ur own truck while for a company
unless u are hired as a "charter" as most call it
aka a independent hireable driver with his own truck atleast
Alright thanks for the info!
You can, but its complicated
wheres ur company based
Oxfordshire
Good brake lights
plugged one in wrong? XD
You can't plug the plugs in wrong
then why tf its doing that xD
Idk. Old AF trailer so somehow it's sending signals back to the dollys work lights when I press the brake
lol
aslong as its not on the rear trailer its fine
Let it snow
Luckily no snow yet
I just unplugged the additional power cable from the trailer

Tanker training 🥵
3 days into it and not sure if trucking is for me 😫
We are doing team miles and my trainer literally does not take breaks
You’ll eventually find the type of trucking you want to do, don’t give up
I personally prefer Dry van/Reefer runs
Nice ! Have you tried tanker before?
My trainer is telling me tanker is better because you are more respected at the shippers/receivers
I just saw those american looking scania trucks
Drivers behind you be like:
Tanks are the way to go
Paint the work lights red and you've solved the problem
I just unplugged the additional power cable
Negative, but I’ve got buddies that do, long shifts but more money, and it’s true you’re more respected doing Tanker than Dry van/Reefer, we deal with a lot of miserable warehouse workers 😂
Dirty trailer
wash it
Little heavy
you say that as if there's a big heavy
Na, should be fine, only going to belgium with it
well don't make their roads worse then
Have a 10 pallet dropoff tomorrow first, those are rrally light pallets, and then i gona shuffle some pallets around to make it a little better, then go to belgium, so it should be fine
Only have 2 dropoff
damn
Is it fun trucking?
Lol what makes it seem disrespectful?
I just started 4 days ago and I think it’d be more fun solo and and not with a complete stranger trainer
Im more aurprised u have a trainer for weeks even months sometimes in the us lol
Can I post videos of my Polo here? Scania is owned by VW so that means that my Polo is basically a scania, right?
Don't ask me. Ask @jade tangle
No he will say no… 🙄
Good
My company requires 40,000 team miles before I can get my own truck. I already hate my trainer
L
Thats honestly shit
Thats what a whole 6 months of tag teaming?
