Thats also steerable
Because the first 3 axles are steerable on my truck
Middle axle is liftable and steers
skil issue
Best poppy air freshner smell
Cherry and Jasmin imo

Got the vanilla one
First one ive had dont think its as pungent as the others, getting the pine next
We had a midget that was a driver on the 2018 man 10x8
He had to swing his leg 10times
And then short of jumped in it
Would be batter in a scania L or what ever the long nose is called. Also again cdl is kinda on the back burner of the back burner

scania T for the old model that scania produced
Oh a renault / sisu... where are you from to get a truck like that ?
That's a basic truck in Finnish army
I think you will like the comfort over the US trucks
Idk maybe
Definitely i would like to drive some peterbilt or kenworth for a while to experience the goods and bads of american trucks
unlucky, it was a rock problem?
Gotta love being in the city centre
sus
Ollie_Sus
I asked myself the same question in the small canal streets in Amsterdam this morning

still there, maybe, chatting from the cabin
how did he take the photo then?
Someone else did from the outside, and sent over
or... maybe he just used the other door
nah cuz i bet he has no shoes inside so he has to open dopr anyway, plus theres still bout 40cm it seems so plenty to get otu
wtf are you doing
Prepping my truck for my 2 weeks of, removed my extra matress, got the crate with stuff for being in the truck for a week from the topbunk to take home
People are also so careful of thier trees, like i couldnt care less
When i stopped by at my dads work for my 30min break
He works in a restaurant that makes lunch for the offices around the restaurant
Its like a park with multiple offices and in the middle a restaurant.
Did you step off into the bushes?
Other side 😂
bruh, id just reverse in then 🤣
I already reversed in
Because i didn’t want to reverse into a busy road when leaving
Nothing
Boss paid
I used 12 tyres in 8 months
Its a offroad truck its normal
We have like 20 tyres on rim ready at the warehouse
Idk
We just call the mechanic tell them what tyre broke
He pulls up with the mechanic van
With the tyre on rim in it.
Changes tyre and takes the old broken tyre on rim with him.
2 new tyres with rim
325/95
U got some baby tyres
If i drive on those roads i get stuck at the first turn
I drive everywhere
Sometimes i need to take a tight turn and i have to go forward back forward back
5-6 times
3
Front 3
The middle axle doesn't look like a turning axle tho
I need half a soccer field to make a 180 dregee u turn
But it is
2021
Yes
What is ur fuel per km?
3 liters per km?
U mean 3 km per liter
So if u drive 100km u use 300 liter?
So 0.3 liter for 1km?
I use 1 liter
And i can drive 2km
Normal trucks use 1 liter and drive 7 km
Now show ur truck if u got a 17m one?
Am curious as here legal only up to 12m vehicle
If not mistaken
I get between 1:4 to 1:5
ah u got trailer it isnt a rigid
in belgium camion means cab
in french its just "truck"
no
urs?
bland asf lol
aint allowed to customize it?
ah
i mean its a older truck
less of the bullcrap that can break of the safety systems
yea
bet no dpf
nice
well i mean yeah heavy hauls n mountains iwll even make a dpf one do but probably just way less
dont got environmental zones areas u drive?
but not across border perhaps what i meant
if its in ur country it isnt abroad
just areas u never go to u mean
then u wont be allowed to drive ur truck there tough due to emission zones and laws?
ah
oldie? yes
Time to start
Noob
He could fit so many more
This is the basic dutch truck package
Grill markers front sidemarkers atleast one led sign in window and red interior lights

Wished we where allowed to put more on it
Only lights i put on it are the 2 double burners in the grill, rest are stock lights, replaced the rooflight bulbs for leds
All our trucks come stock with the front side markers and 2 grill mounted flashers
I would love to have a lightbar with 4 lights and 2 beacons, 2 Talmy DRL under the bumper and 2 mudflaps, but thats not happening as they don't want that
I'm the only one in the company that drives a CF with the 2 double burners, all others CF's are just stock
Its still a Paccar
12.6 liter inline 6, with 380, 430, 480 and 530 hp
ATe stands for Advanced Transport Efficiency, only available on the XF105, and only for the last few years for the production run of the XF105, and was a fuel saving model with different pistons, oil pump and extra low axle ratio to reduce fuel consumption
But you don't have a ATe, you have a Paccar XE engine
XE315(430hp) XE355(480hp) XE390(530hp)
ATe is only available on the MX13.340(460hp)
Perhaps
Looking for 15 minutes in all the trailers to find which one it's in
Turns out just didn't even get loaded into one
ig u just gotta steal one from someone else
@formal minnow
Loading 1 pallet near Emmen for CTG
Waiting for more than an hour now because customs system is failing or something
It clearly is
I thought someone was going to cut you off😂
He technically did
yea okay but i thought someone was cut him off because he/she want drive behind a truck
so that he/she overtake him over the left side
idk he has suv im sure he can do what he wants
N381 near Emmen
This is a work of art
Empty space at the rear has to be filled with fragile pallets
Have to unload the wood and profiles strapped to the roof first
how much did you pay for that?
And then the canted pallet
One hard braking and that shits sliding forward
More like got paid
Nope there's stuff infront
Did u survive at ctg today
Damm tought u was going
Starting to see a pattern where they keep me local and send the mentally unstable far away when new interns have their first day

Untill u physically abuse them on trailer duties
Making them load n unload nonstop on a Friday evening
Well they're both mentally stable as far as I know so at least they don't require constant supervision and correction
Thats what u think
Stable enough
Curtain is strong enough
The side plates, curtain and the thingys that holds the planks are all rated for load securing
Do a flip!
mhm
Jack knife
That terrifying moment the trailer found a faster route
Fuel time
I have the same trailer now for 5 weeks
Easy in the top 3 best trailers excluding the brand new ones obviously
Guess I'm now one of the elite employeeeeees as there's not even 10 people with assigned trailers

Here is a pic that shows the 3rd wheel also steers
🤔
Im a great singer
No

Are you any better?
Oh hell no. My singing isn't for the faint hearted.

nice
Yeet n delete

Ain't no way
They just canceled my last adress and told to me get back asap
I'm like what's going on they be like we need a babysitter tomorrow 😭
lol
so probz a kid who just got his license and u gotta show the ropes while he hopefully has his own truck to damage and not urs?
Not even
2 new interns started yesterday
And I'll prolly have to couple the bebo trailers aswell
Local stuff
so ur gonna be driving theyre gonna learn and then maybe next trip they come along u just tell them what to do and just chill
Perchance
I don't really take people with me
Cuz I usually don't return home
And Friday it's best they're all at the warehouse cuz busy
so is it just u fridays who run the shunters or
is there 2other who run the others and interns run copassenger to disconnect hoses open doors and put the legs down?
also talkung today with examinator, with my c license if the two trucks they use as terminals are reregistered as tractor
i can actually drive those on public roads
if such i could just ya know, go drive those actually not on property or the bit across road
and further out n just drive
Complicated
Goes step by step
First just loading
Then after a while they can pull forward and close the doors
Or ramps Incase of city
hmm
The its usually some day practice between cones or whatever
Yeah T license
yeah my company theyre like if free hr grab a empty chassis and one of the two trucks bc driver card u know those two got tacho ripped out
but like
theres one for the car importer as they need a truck under the chassis cuz heavy forklift go in
and when they got lot of hte liquid 20footers that needs a truck somewhat too so yeah
That's a lesson I've learned the hard way
Always have a tracor unit when entering with a heavy pallet
and on the property itself is some space but not like what ur company got so cant do cone shit n all and theres too much other work that the guy cant come with me elsewhere but yea
Drove in, trailer did a German salute and when I drove forward a bang louder than a airbag going
german salute?
so like it cuz disconnect rear caved in ?
like the air in the trailers tank couldnt support the airbags?
Suprised still that the legs didn't collapse
Front went up 45 degrees
Legs Came all the way up in the air
few forklifts i assume?
i mean todat at exam shit i failed i tought i connected and luckily reversed bit more cuz was like nah that sound aint right
was just the legs sliding bit but sounded right
ah so the load was in but it wasnt such that u couldnt enter no more as it was forward enough forklift could go in
Just
Drive backwards until boom
And then drive forward and see if you move
Solid technique works 10/10
so u drove it into the trailer and then waited to see if it moved going further in?
yet u had something on the rear that tipped so i assume u took some of it out?\

dumped the trailer in ocean?
Yep
Nicely planned route for today
Blame your colleagues who didn’t want those clients
Its for Postnl, only 2 adressen in Coevorden are customers, rest is depots
I’m currently in the office waiting till I can print again, planner is not happy
Sounds fun
Mostly bc daytime planners put adr stuff on drivers who aren’t allowed to drive adr
what's there to see in the last clip
3x running red lights
Car straight ahead in the distance turning right, going the same direction as me
skill issues
they know u drive postnl who always break rules
so they do it too
to show ya whos boss @magic girder
I'm just boss
It's kind of a long shot but anyone here have any experience hauling/delivering fuel. Specifically in the US. I would like to know what a typical day consists of. If days or nights are better, that type of stuff.
There’s more from Europe in here that know I think than us atleast who also be active in this channel
This guy got experience with fuel but he’s Northern Europe so nothing close to being us fuel driver but he might be able to help a bit with questions as the gist is somewhat same handling it and all
I can only tell whats it like here in Finland. We have day shift and nights shift. Day shift starts at 1am-5am and usually includes unloading trailer to fuelstations and the unloading truck to multiple farms, house heating customers etc.
Nights shift includes more of just fuelstation deliveries and ship bunkering. Night time is much better for going in city centers etc. when there is little to no traffic.
Day shift start at 1am?
Bruh i woke up at 1am just today
Only because i didn't want to sleep in the cab
Day shift is 5-6am
Aka scream at them, tell them they ain’t able to do shit right and terrorize them for life
That's hella cringe
I find the best way to prevent people from leaving after the first week is be nice and let them do the fun work
No
Real teacher makes them grab a manual pump cart
Atleast the first day
Hired some illegal migrants to empty it?
Nice time to start the shift
Meanwhile me in night shift, 45 minutes late and counting
450 euro 6
Had that 2 nights ago
Same
And last night only 35 minutes, but if i get late this night a lot has to go wrong
Prefer the 450 over 430, 2 completly different engines
Yes, MX11
I've been late on schedule by 2 hours on average this week
Still going 80kmh on cruise control
Same, even if i'm late i still drive 83
4 to 5 km/l
20 to 25 liters per 100 km
The time you'd save by going 90 instead of 80 is minimal so there's no reason to go above 80 for me
On a 4.5 hour drive without stops it can make some difference
Even with 30 tons of load i'm around 27 liter per 100 km
Empty i sit around 18 l/100 km
Yes
I filled up with 827 liters 2 days ago, and did 3131 km on that
26.4 l/100km average
At my night shift mostly lighter, but the day driver has mostly between 22 to 28 tons per load
But also lot of city driving
You could drive from helsinki to oulu and not even save an hour by doing that.
On a 3.15 hour drive i did in the past, i could save about 15 to 20 minutes dependimg on traffic
Mine pulls that just fine
If you have a 1500 km drive it can save some time doing 90 instead of 80
Thats just bad, if i would use that much fuel my boss would be mad
15-20 is pretty much nothing. Not worth it imo
On a friday it could mean that i could be back before everyone else and unload without having to wait
Its a old truck, so they will use more fuel
I don't unload
I had when i drove for DHL, and in the day work i also just drive 83 as it doesn't make much difference
Yes
My tacho is error free
@thick cedar
Just casual normal driving, empty trailer
This is just a normal highway outside of a city area
Only near large cities have lights, or on important junctions
Depends on the work, but personally i love the CF
If doing local, maybe 1 or 2 nights a week from home a CF will do just fine, although i'm in my CF also for a complete week, as i don't mind
XF is more focust on long haul
If you don't mind having some less space compared to a XF a CF is a good option
Yes
If you park it next to a XF spacecab(same as yours) it has the same roof height, but its a little smaller, and a little shorter
100% correct
I don't know, its a 2022, we got it brand new together with 8 other CF's and multiple XF's
But our company does lease them
We have about 150 to 180 ish trucks
Our trucks are leased for 5 years, or 1 million km
Euro 5 yes, euro 6 no, they had problems with camshafts
328k
Heard they had lots of problems with the engines
Its a ford engine
I would say stick with DAF or MAN, those are reliable too
I'd personally stick with Volvo and Mercedes
2010 is TGX, not TGA, but they are good trucks
We had lots of transmission problems with our Mercedes
TGX came out in 2008
The transmission could be better, yes, but it's still a super comfortable truck
Comfort in them is pretty good, but still prefer a DAF or MAN
Also with one of the best engines the 440's are strong engines
We had them as the euro 6
Over here they are pretty cheap to buy second hand
Take a look at Kleyntrucks.com
They sell all over the world
19k for a 2018 with 800k on the clock, not a bad deal
How many euro?
What, thats expensive
Just buy the XF from Kleyn and export it, they have the know how
Only thing the price is without sales tax, but that about 2500 on that truck
A euro 5 can't go into major cities here anymore, so companies can only use it limitly
My favourite activity
And some money to export it
Flat tire?
Fly over and drive if back
Nah, retightening the bolts. Wheels came off yesterday for brake service
Ah oke, has to happen tok
Makes ir a 15k ish truck
I just jump on the bar, as I got no strength to pull it
I just pull them
No, thats fixed cost
If you have it transported you pay a few k for it, if you pick up it your self, they can get you temp plates that are valid for 10 days, and you only need to get a special export insurance, and they know everything on how to set that up, thats cheaper than it being shipped over
Only thing is, i don't know how much you paying in your country to get it registered
10k truck is 2500
So thats cheap
If you buy that for 10k, you would be 20k ish into it and have a working truck
east bound and downnn load it up and truck em we gon do what they say can't be done
Thats a thing with buying used, there can be things wrong
Thats a little bit of maintance you can't escape from
I also want my truck to be as good as possible
I have coworkers who don't look after thier trucks, as they say, its not my own truck, so i don't care about it
For me the company pays
My previous truck also had those, and my boss paid for them
Thats because its a old truck
Anyone got a Scania S in full black
CF is not much of a downgrade for a XF
Sorry i don't have one
100%
Have a good trip
how did you guys get into trucking irl?
did you always want to be truckers and something you pursued or was it something you fell into?
Always wanted to be
Same
When i turned 18 yo and I started working as warehouse operative, i was sure 100% i will become a trucker as i was tired af working with ppl, for less money being devastated everyday
Always wanted to be a truck driver
Not complaining about this
On my first job rn
Volvo
530 i belive
Nah
Just transporting Fertilizer
Not even my boss
My uncle's
Barneveld
Ah
Ur mom isnt there to say no
Dont tell her
???
Why
The fk
Thats bullshit
Lol
Like she can stop u
Just use a app that detects crashes
Can just set the cam to look out the window
Instead of into cab
Looking at these specs and prices for sure someone lived tf out of it
Loading takes forever 🥲
Tell planners
Let them put some pressure on it
1 hour to load 10 min drive 1 hour unload

Ive had worse
For a pallet that went 4 doors down the street

“Open all to make sure its all there”
Shouldve fkn paid attention when loading shouldnt u
Imagine cars had a tacho

Last night, and then 2 weeks off
wow so lazy of u to take a break!
I'm never lazy
I'm going to Hungary for 2 weeks, so i will sleep in a caravan and a camper
i kinda want a camper but i might build it out of a boxtruck tough
probz same sapce as now so could live out of it xd
We have a camper, but its not roadworthy
Depends on what you want and where you go
why tent, im planning at some point to convert a old reefer box truck thats like 11m or smth long and just convert it into a camper
raised bed storage below, cubicle with shower toilet water tanks underneath , kitchen
and rest be chill space
That was the plan for my Scania in the past
i mean its easier to already buy a reefer box truck and just cut holes in it vs putting one on and having more work
O they do soooo well
i mean theres a youtube vid of a dutch couple who live in rotterdam who put a container on it and fully converted it
it can be done ur just out 50k or smth
still cheaper than the van ones yes bit more fuel milage but yeah
yes rigid
semis can be done but those better be off to convert and park
could have lzv license tough and have box truck thats camper and build one out of rigid and park the rigid at one spot or live out of it whole year while taking the rigid for explorations n shit
xd
and then wen done take both out the country and go somewhere else
A semi with camper unit
if i do get a rigid id like to see if i can find one that fits my ape and thus have a long loading ramp and still plenty of space inside
looks like circus type truck or carnival
not even, just unhook stabilize it with support n go forward a bit
altouhg conveniently i saw something like that yesterday as a camper wich didnt need to remove the box but it had plenty of engineering in it to make it work
No, just a hobby truck, i know the owner personally
oh nice
so the box is whole custom made or one of those bed ones that go on the fifth wheel that got heavily modified?
The complete box can be taken off
Own made
tbf it be nice im used to little space to get a truck converted at some point, i just if so want it to be a almost 12m one for space, as my ape would take up like 2n half length wise and 150 wide
and if it has long ramp it can be a nice deck on the back while at it so u can drink beer outside without being in "public" especially if it had a removable rail or smth
so it be a balcony type thing
My goal
Goodluck
Ur gonna pay top notch to get that fabricated for the weight limits of it
Ive got 2 code 95 theor exams tomo
All trucks in this picture are all campers
plus the truck itself rigid maybe 10tons empty if just a regular, shit u add probz add up to like 15/20ton max
nice
Ty
Yes, but are loved here by lots of people and are just for fun
50
yes but those are heavily build dump trucks, regular cooler rigid aint
Yes
@thick cedar i did consider a fire truck, strip the insides n all, then put windows n door behind the sliding doors as it be covered when driving can used as curtains and it looks cool
But as campers they still get taken out for “regular” drives
Vs the company ones who take it out maybe once a year for a local charity run
@magic girder u got more pics of those rvs
His and hers
Gypsy
frick thats solid
What pics you want?
They got some money
Anything
anyways if i build one as camper with the size of it i plan on making it my home maybe
Lets go to the other chat
it be moved occasionally mostly lol
They also have a 141 they are restoring

heh thats a tiny pickuptruck
Weird
but thats alos like a pickup truck camper put on truck
Its a truck camper
if do like that why not put the truck on the back and cut the cab open and expand it
Modified to be on the truck
Waste of money
Shouldve just extended the sleeper and put car on the axle
Ive seen videos people take a normal tractor unit
Or a 4x2
They put the rv fifth wheel hitch on the rear
As its smaller
And then also park a car or bikes etc on the truck against the cab
Ive seen someone who had a stacker lift for 2 trikes
no
i has cats and if i can bring my ape in it too without trailer it be ultimate machine
even the curtain?
And the trailer was for sale in Danmark
Yes, on the inside they build a complete living space etc, all insulated, curtains are only for the looks
damn nice
as i said id like to get like a reefer as its already insulated all around
And the red with yellow has a caravan in it
but i doubt u can find them with a long ramp
cuz those fit my ape without turning it n shit so no risk putting it on
3+ tons ramp it has to be, those are long enough
yep
or id needda weld some on, the benefit is the ape is under 300kg, its juts too long for regular ramp
and its too long to put in sideways
Thats why you would need a 3 ton lift
yea
with height of ape could probz fit a bed above thats sealed of so it has a garage, and use a winch so no fumes n shit, build it a garage n a door there put some railings there to fit into the ramps holes id make so its sorta a balcony
have a nice spare bed above it
aka junk area and cats hangout
id put it all on sliding drawers with a pivot so u could pull it out n lower to replace the bedding n shit easeir]
yes
build walls on the inside to insulate
just be dark cuz no windpws
yes but if u make it camper u wanna see the views
true but i mean thats stil not much if ud live out of it fully
the van type one as fire truck and have the roller doors on side to cover window is what id like if id not get a rigid at some point and have it more as a holiday camper
Very nice
i mean most seem to be old living quarters or such ud see at a funfair type thing but some might of been for instance power units perhaps that got changed and remodeled
anyways that rigid camper dream is a decade of saving away cause probz just the electrical solar system be 10k as like with said conversion most weight will be the water tanks when filled and the batteries
Also a lot of them where furniture moving trailers
Solar can be done for about 1500 these days
Very nice the ones with a matching trailer
yes samll systems but if i plan to live out of it perhaps, it do need power to fully run the rig, ill probz use gas for cooking but yeah the electrics be lot
altough rv fridges are a myth as u can run full size regular fridges for similar amount of power and have a full size fridge so yea
but id also like it to be able to run offgrid for days on end with no solar for instance and full power usage all around
Invest in a generator, lots of them have one
Do not forget the 1 way relais
Unless ur installing a computer u dont need alot of power
ik but then u got fuel n noice wise, if i were to park at a parking i dont wanna be noicy and heard n shit
or on a camping
As ud probably have a diesel heater + gas heater for hot water
Just park next to a reefer
yes thats ofc a thing that does but thats nice if u go roadtrip far
On a camping ull have wall power
but if i where to just live out it wouldnt run daily
I aint touching it
also who said anything bout campings? those be paid
Id pay a certified electrician
6 or 8 large batteries will last you a few days, with some solar and a generator you can last a long time
ik id plan on like 8 some batteries be enough and like a 2000watt generator or smth the tiny suitcase size incase needed
but yeah will see this is somethign for the future
Its not hard to wire that in
No
But i already know if it somereason lets hope not
Catches on fire
And them blaming that
Then its a electrical fault vs wrong install
I just install everything my self, but i also have my mechanics background, so that helps too, amd for that i also had to follow electronics
wiringi s easy
but putting safetys in is what i didnt do to mine , i was told put fuzes in i was like nah frick that it got a relais in
I even put double fuses in some systems i build, just to be extra save
lol i did non of that if it has a fuse when installed leave it on but not added extra
altough its just the lightbars wich got just a relay and a light fuse
do htink all did get fuse the two ledbars but i didnt bothr adding better shit or such
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFihNFcrphs @thick cedar what i meant before of the chanel i said of who did
We converted a 20FT SHIPPING CONTAINER into a TINY HOUSE ON WHEELS. In this TIMELAPSE video with RELAXING MUSIC and NO TALKING we show you the first half of our build. A total of 18 months DIY, from start to finish, has been compacted into 25 minutes and 2 videos.
The base truck for our home on wheels is a Mercedes Benz Atego 1218 from the yea...
but i wont use a container, i rather get a rigid reefer to start and rip said reefer out and seal the hole and make more
i mean im taking the reefer unit it self off and blocl that off and use the insulated box
tbf i doubt reefers be that much more if its got decent milage, benefit is the few k its more expensive is probz cheaper than insulating urself an then getting flat walls vs it already being flat
i mean theyre build to go to -20 n shit and have a motor use barely any energy to keep it at that so yeah it seems like the most logical to get and then convert
doubt as he spend money buying one with container chassis and then like a few k for said container
as if u buy reefer be probz similar to what that guy paid but u save a few k on the insulation costs
probz also need less framing to be added
no?
i want one with reefer unit as then its unsulated but i will sell the reefer motor itself
as that wil be uselesss
as it could pribz get a battery powered ac unit
as it dont needda be at 7degrees but just keep it at likle a stable 18 or osmething
i mean ill add a tiny woodstove for heating and ill obviously add a fan system for air circulatino but u can bet the rear doors wil be taken off n replaced with a wall bit so it wont be airtight anymore too
also read up, ill add a full 8big house battery system with probz as is truck like 8k watts in solar
and maybe a small 2k watt generator
no rear door be build into garage and add a side door
i mean dishwasher and ac unit idk
also laundry dryer n washer
?
i mean id rather have some overkilll tough
bit too many is better than too low and then needda run engine or a generator
but why, id get a custom interior in it maybe but extending has no use as youd not sleep in it and maybe use it as a spare bedroom kind deal so u might wanna run ac into or heat if not running but yeah
yeah but no way u can do that in europe unless u might transfer title to rv and also tow a camper with it
nah no need if i gt rigid with camper
thats nice if i live in it for a boss towing trailers but for camper design id just want a day cab or a cab with sleeping area n use that as spare u knpw
as said id like to get a reefer with a 3ton ramp so my ape can fit in the rear as thats a perfect road trip vehicle for grocerys n shit
as itd fit have space to walk past a bed above n havea small garage
\
@lean oracle
Mhm
Day shift is gonna have fun when they get the truck
I'm not even finished yet so fuel is gonna be real low when I'm finished
Cause we work our trucks
Its a company truck too
And even for owner operaters here they have to make distance to earn money
Some do per km, some per load, some a mix of both, depends on what you do, but also the more loads you do, the more you earn, which means more driven distance
Depends on the price you get
Hourly pay ftw
Same
No matter if something happens, I'll still get paid
Yes
If I have to do the day rest in the truck, I get paid 48€ tax free
Paid for sleeping is the best
And i'm done, no trucking for the next 2 weeks
Enjoy
Thanks, will certainly do, got a nice trip planned
Passed both code 95 theory exams
congratulations
Ty
Gotta love tipping indoors
best remember to lower it all
when you have your rest stops is it necessary to try and nap or can you just chill? also is there any time for you guys to have a few hours to do what you want when you're on the road or is it always driving or sleeping? like in a normal job you just come home and pat the cat for a hour or something
i mean it depends where u work, some companys u do the like 9hrs driving time daily and 6hrs of work perhaps some others u just work around 12hrs and dont hit driving time and be home, others work 15hrs days for instance and end up somewhere in germany when they started in belgium or whereever and sleep and continue the next day
it really depends what work you do and for what company
for instance @proper elbow and @magic girder work and overnight in the truck during the week while for instance @lucid birch works on a dump truck works the day driving lots to same sites making lots of trips and goes home each afternnoon and doesnt sleep in it
it really depends where u work how they do and such, and then even if at plenty companys u can choose soemtimes what type of trips u do or job type so u can be away from home the entire week or be home every night and maybe once a week have a sleep in the truck
hmm nice thanks for the info :)
Tipper Truck
Dump truck is trash
i mean u dump shit
dont hit a wall
is that like a vacation park or smth
cuz those tend to have tight spaces that are utter shit
how small was amsterdam compared to that
ah doing a @lucid birch
is that in flevoland
the bridge where you cross onto northern flevoland
i mean if u assume is there ud know the highway so google?
A6 towards urk
sweet home alabama

Depends on the work, i have weeks where i'm on the road for a full week, so i will sleep in my truck, have to do the mandatory 9 or 11 hours of rest, what i do in that time is up to my self, but mostly it will include a minimum of 7 hours of sleep.
When i have to make my 45 minute breaks, i can spend the time how i want, if i want to lay down for 30 minutes i can do that, if i want to go on a walk, i'm free to do so, the time is for you self to use
But i also have weeks, like the last 1.5 month where i was home every night, so i just park the truck and go home, do my own things at home, get some sleep and go working again
bridge opens then if the orange light above is flashing
Rainy night
thanks 😊
Damn
Green
green
Half way germany
how are the fuel prices
Driving with caravan, so max 80, but doing about 86 to 90
Same as in NL, although on the highway diesel is more expensive than in NL but at a the Rasthof the same as in NL
No, this is a basic lightweight caravan, but on a camping you will have showers and toilets
The caravan is also not that big
I noticed when in Belgium when going there so I’d just take a exit before the border into a small town fuel up my car and ape on the trailer and save with just a 100m of border 40 cents a liter
I doubt that thing is under 750 is it?
i8 mean my trailer got white plate, idk if its actually under 750 or over
neither does mine but im thinking of converting me car into a small camper, should work as my rear bench is two sections so i can easily take both out and leave space to put the single in when needed but for camping take it out probz as then theres more space for bed
Its 690 empty
mhm nice
also kinda in the wrong hcannel xd
True
Although, its probably 800 currently with the stuff we have in it
cries in too much plastic
Yes]
That's the tg3 tgm 15.250
Parked for the night
Ooh an opel
Theres a older caravan for sale near me that i kinda want but no car to tow
Buy also another car
citroën (or Mitsubishi) iOn
Any ideas on what ur going to get?
Maybe a nice Golf GTI
Fabia maybe or a van
Didnt u want to like convert a van?
No
Oh
too pricy
Fabia can't tow much
is that your truck behind it?
No

where
That's not the issue with dafs I work on them and the noises they make 😭
@fleet basin read ur pm if u havent yet
Is that actually yours?
Yes It is…
I still have a couple for sale you can check my pages for that
What
Its not
That insta looks like a scam page
Fake news
My thoughts exactly
Looks like pure advertisement so doesn't belong here anyway, @last cloak
Not even
Its a scam page
Lmao
Then i'm twice happy to yeet it
@pure bridge pardon me if advert of any sort isn’t permitted here. I just felt someone here would be interested to get something like this.
No worries 🙂
are there any truck drivers from Australia here?
Dont think so
You’d be wrong 🤓
Ok polo driver
Ur UP! isnt any better
Its not a up
Ur seat Mii isnt any better* (It better not be a citigo)
@magic girder saw a green kooiker truck in bleiswijk
i know he aint driving the daf, just telling him 🗿
L
New trailer day for us today! Yay
U drive this?
Yes
Well, they drive everywhere, but i don't think about work now, i just think about 35 degrees, sun, and relax modus
is that good or bad?
Strange
volvo..
Probably cant make it to the destination
Not safe lol
That stuff will fall
Can do that witha a 200kg pallet maybe but not this
Probz cost u two beers and a pack of cigs
Mean ramps can hold lots
Just cuz it can hold alot doesnt mean u should do jt that way
They sag a bit
So not safe to do
With heavy stuff
If he would drive his ept over it already sags too much probably
Not bad, each or total?
Big retour pallets in the way I had to take over
the north of the Netherlands is so flat in my opinion
Hoe krijg je pompwagen om en alle pallets die scheef staan
Hoe heb jij gereden
Oh i forgot this isnt dutch channel anymore
Oops
Bonk
put like that on purpose surely
geuss he doesnt have a way to secure
also stuff falls so easy if its junk like that
damn i thought kooiker only drove in the north
We drive daily south france, germany, and once a while UK, Danmark, Sweden, we also have a yard in Poland
damn
Otherwise it'll roll through the entire trailer
Surprised tho
weve got little L brackets welded together
onto 2 flat pieces
the size of the wheels
doesnt move at all unless braking really hard and it not being the most forward it can be
or being empty and absolutely sending it trough a corner
then it sometimes moves
Like normal? The pallet has small monotubes on them. Higher you go the more it swerves
Dont help its wrapped like shit
You're supposed to throw it over.. or otherwise put a piece of wood under it which I did not have
Surprised theres not just one standard in teh trailer

It's not mine
Took it from another driver underway
i know
but surprised theres not one standard in ur trailer even if u normally have a ept
90% of the time we got full trailers
No space for allat
surprised they dont got boxes in the bike frames for one
usually see that in the boxtruck n trailer ones
yes but i meant for the electric one
usually tbox truck with trailers got one under the truck for it but could have same under trailer where the anti bike catchers are
Never seen that
They got em on the rigids atleast afaik
box on the truck
they can charge it in there too
Dont think they all have it but some do
Too bad
We have our own little space without you
No 9 year olds
Ur the one with the babytruckerrole
Thank god I'm not 9 then huh
@uncut vapor u in netherlands by chance i judt passed one of ur companys trucks
Damn you drove this?
Ik hence I ask
wait, why did it get deleted? What was wrong with it? It was just an advertisal trailer with a model rocket! I'm confused
No, it was parked at the hotel. If it didn't had been deleted for whatever reason, you could see the mirror of the truck I was on on the right side of the picture
so u cant post here if u aint drive
I was driving tho. Like I said. THe picture was shot from my truck
read the channel descriptoom
But is not your truck in the pic
Ah, damn. Guesse I had a little missunderstanding there😅 my bad
Question, how much did you pay for your camper?
@daring sail tyhats a caravan
Same thing
but usually older models n shit are cheaper and might need some work but not much
save?
nah
Shut up!
cry
Been looking at a few since its so much cheaper than a camper
get a small person van
plebnty of space to convert
my peugeot partner got so much storage spaces already and plenty for a bed n shit
Nothing, as its my dads, and i can use it free of charge is its parked in my storage for winter
And the camper whe have, we paid 25 euro for, as its a project
Oh nice
must be nice having ur own small warehouse / large garage to store ur stuff
11.10 till 12.15
ah
probably everyone kept taking lunches

and just ignoring drivers
sometimes u just gotta stand infront of the polaks
to get them to do ur shit
Well yeah I know lol
1 ton at most probably
Unless going heavy I think polo with its weight can tow 1000 if brakes trailer and like half that if no brakes
550 kg without brakes
750
max unbraked is 750
unless your tow capacity is less
rdw says 550 for a volkswagen polo mk5
yes max is 750 but if ur car cant have 750 unbraked ur not allowed to
everyone just breaks that rule tough
It is
This caravan is for 3 people, but there are caravans that are for 8 people, or for 4 or 5 people but have toilets, showers and tons of space
noone ever really uses the showers in the caravans tho lol
I don't have a average size garage, i have a 180m2 workshop
Some do, i've been on campings where i would not want to shower
You would not even be allowed to tow this caravan as its 690 kg empty

Although the caravan is braked, so if he could do 1000kg braked he would be able too, but i don't think the car would like it
besides going downhill itd probably do fine
Never underestimate a Polo!!!
And I wouldn't go for anything bit either only smt for 1 persn
Uphill would be the same thing, it would struggle
