Ah cuz i sww one wessels there
And one passed me abit ago on a7
Im heaeing towards groningen right now
Scania with a black 2 axle trailer by any chance?
No both had wessels trailers
U driving with a black 2 axle right now?
Im heading to veendam and then back to company probably
A28 to a12 all the wy back
No I'm in Belgium heading Germany
But we have new black krone city's that drive in that area regularly
Ay
s
no
I don't know who designed it, but damn this looks ugly
it is
and they say 500km range
but with weather + big loads and crap aero itll do maybe 250 :D
Don't forget hills or mountains
It looks so ugly 🤮
Yup
This will never work because the infrastructure isnt there for trucks
+. Takes hours to charge
They shouldve just made it with the pantographs
And throw it to germany only for the region that has the powerline things
Those trucks that run there have “small” batteries to run max 100 km or so unpowered
In my work if i would leave with a full battery i would have to recharge about 3/4 of my run or i would not make it, and for international i would not work at all, 500 km range is about 65% of what some drive in a day
Looks depressed
I drove more in my van today
Also u will realistically maybe get 300 km max
Then u must find a chargespot for trucks
Hope theres no white plate bandit having45h break there
And if the 500 is realistic as they say whe you hit 400 km, you gona look for a charger too, 100 km is nothing
Yea
In eindhoven at the truckwash
They removed the 15 or so parking spots
And changed them to electric parking
Im not sure if its finished yet
But a lzv wont fit there
And its already tight spots the same size but now massive charging pole in the way too
So basicly all the spots for the truckstop there is gone

The grill looks like a sad face
The headlights being the eyes
The time when you had a small box on your day cab as a sleeper to get extra loading space, 200 to 250 hp, 6 or 8 speed transmission, was a different time for driving and living in a truck, these day everyone wants a big large cab, but to be honest, i wouldn't mind such a truck as long as the seat is good
I think I'm too accustomed with everything my XG+ gives me.
They are comfy and large for sure, compared to that Mercedes even huge

mercedes somehow developed an even bigger forehead
Gotta love doing 2km in 2 hours because of a small fender bender
Belgium sucks ass

Gotta love these ridiculous serpentine climbs to mountain passes, at least the weather is still bearable
The views are nice tho
those views are very nice indeed
i geuss as soon as it becomes moderately icy itll become a 💩 show
due to east european drivers that are not prepared at all
there was already some chaos in the areas i was driving today last weekend due to snow
usually it just depends on luck and timing how the roads will be
snow + good tires = driving on concrete
but u can do nothing against ice except
except put chains on
but yeah the southern/eastern european 2axle heroes not only have smooth tires they also have weight on the rear of the trailer due to silly weight limitations down there
yeah but noone is gonna put those on
if theres only a tiny bit of ice
probably also depends how they are loaded
nor will they have winter tires
weight on a 4x2 should be fine
if they put it all in the rear its just terrible loaders
oh for sure not, chains are used mostly in the north where the roads are often slippery
or they are stupid and dont load trailer evenly so they wont have issues lol
yeah and only when its proper weather for it i bet
because noone wants to spend 20mins minimum putting on and taking em off
for like a few 100meters of ice
😂
if u put chains on u usually drive 10km+ with them on
sometimes 50+
but thats very rare and usually during night
pretty sure u arent allowed to put a lot of weight on the driving axle down in south
i dont know the exact limitations, but i know for a fact that the limitations for axle weight is pretty harsh especially in germany
aslong as your not putting 15 tons on the axle XD
maybe
but i bet most trucks thatll come to sweden / norway etc
once winter comes, people here often overload their axles
arent going trough germany much
most weight ive had on my axle while lifted was 19tons
i was gripping on even ice
hahaha
because winter + weight on rear of trailer means u cant go uphill i bet
u mean u raised your rear axle or
u can barely go straight if u have weight on rear of trailer because it lifts the front aswell as pulls you down, on top of acting like a slingshot
xD
also the biggest mistake people do on ice is braking
Best to let it slide right? especially in trucks
aslong as u dont touch them u got more control
as u wont lockup i geuss?
if you want to brake, controlled brake pumping is the only option
once u hold brakes, they lock up and ur sideways
Yeah
a few weeks ago in rain
a truck slowed down for roundabout
and his trailer was like
:D
the best option is to just stay at a proper speed, and see far ahead and if something happens, just steer dont overreact and dont brake unless last option
someone was about to pass him so that was good that it didnt happen 2 secs later lol
just let it go and try to steer
Yeah
dont go faster then u can stop without braking
i see trucks in rain like heavy rain
still 2 meters of eachother its stupid u cant see anything cant even stop in time during normal weather that close
rain actually makes the ground quite slippery
meanwhile people do that in winter too when u shouldnt really be braking in certain places :D
everytime it rains, especially if i have my rear axle down i will start spinning empty when pressing gas
on loewr gears
well yeah but also no, the difference is crazy comparing to dry (ofc)
obv
its like u have to press 40% as opposed to 100%
when its raining
if u want to have 0 slipping
i want my van to slip
but i mean its not slippery while driving, just when starting to move
my old van sortoff wanted to "Slide" a bit in rain in a corner
if you had load in the right spot
but my new one is like
no
😂
Yea
often times when accidents happen on snowy weather its just bad reactions in my opinion
overreacting etc
or just being plain dumb
i mean
you will have dumb people
but also people who just quite frankly dont have the experience
im going to finland this winter and will probably be driving a bit in my friends car
maybe not as much because this time i wont be the only one with license
i mean i wasnt then too but my friends gf doesnt like to drive if she doesnt have to
but ill def try to get some braking experience etc in snow
if i can safely ofcourse
hahaha yeah, its better to be safe than sorry driving slower but id be lying if i said i wouldnt be pissed off at all the girteka heroes driving 60km/h when u can easily drive 80km/h or more
im not gonna smash it on a deserted road with ditches
Ofcourse but theyre not used to it
they probably go there one winter
for 2 weeks
and then never again
because their company is 💩
i think the companies that send trucks north should have "dedicated" trucks that come here
some do
but some just send the literal shitboxes with no chains even
ah yeah
i watched the show on national geographic when i still watched
idk what it was but it was in norway in winter mainly on the mountains
and always the balkan east european etc with no proper equipment / experience or just impropely loaded by companies
that struggled to get uphill etc
When it should be doable easily
yeah usually more often than not the weight distribution is the issue i think
alot of time u cant even blame the drivers
as these days alot of companies will load you
maybe down south, but here we literally refuse to bring a load to x place if its improperly loaded or we tell them they have to figure out where we can move the load or something
and they cant do anything about it legally
Yea
i geuss its annoying when u havem ultiple drops
u want to keep the drops together etc
for easy loading / unloading but yeah
i had 2 drops this week, first drop was on the first 9 meteres of the trailer and rest was at the back, spent 30 minutes moving the pallets back and forth because of this garbage curtain trailer
:D
geuss they were busy so couldnt quickly unload that
and reload it for ya?
id love to have full loads / unloads
i could have asked them to do it but idk i just told em bring me a pallet jack and i do it myself
fair
id let them do it its probably faster
benefit of trailer tho u can move to the side
and still get past it easy
it was a customer, they could have done it but i mean if something happens ehh
but for me thats not possible in my van haha
Yeah
can always ask if they got a electric pallet jack u can use
but u also dont have that many metres and pallets of stuff to move haha
here at most companys u can depending if u must load / unload yourself or are able to atleast
yea
but its very annoying when my planners make me drop
then load with more drops still
especially if its a big heavy american pallet
:D
and that the next drop doesnt have a forklift
Im working morning shifts
Ah kl
Cuz everytime i check your location it shows u at ur home
Give him the bill
I can explain
He must provide and if u want certain he has to pay %
Wait let me screenshot
I have to work 176 hours this month
I did 160hours
Meaning all my days are like 5-7hoursss
Lol
Payday must be nice
Sounds even more nice
Jeez leave that company right away
Ohh
Skill issue tbh

Most common thing to say, it was only 20 over
My last month was 268 hours, minus my break hours, left me with 232 paid hours
Well, i have months with more hours to be honest, summer time i'm over 300 hours a month easy
That is how u make something, this 160 hours is 9-5 job not trucking
My base pay is based on 40 hours a week, doing 50 to 55 a week currently, and summer time close to 60 to 65 a week
Als had 80 hour work weeks in the past, but that was also a hard time
I'm pretty happy being a company driver, no worries about all the paperwork, truck and maintance and all the bills, and i work for a pretty large company that treats thier drivers good, i'm allowed to do some light modifications to the truck, and have my "own" truck and a set route and work
Although my own truck has been a long time dream, but in today's market i feel saver to stay as a company driver than to start for my self, and i love the work i do
If i wanted to go into the same work i'm in, thats a hard market to get into, and where a lot of foreign drivers are in, there is money to be made for sure, but its not really worth the hassle for me, i have a relationship, own house, oldtimer truck and a large workshop to work on cars etc, and how much i love trucking, in my time off i don't always want to be into trucking, or atleast have to worry about paperwork etc in that time
An my free time is already limited enough, i have a old Scania truck sitting that i'm restoring, but in the last 2 years i maybe spend about 5 hours on it, and then also family and stuff, so free time is limited enough for me
Thats for sure, lucky enough i have family thats also into trucking, so that makes that aspect a little easier, and my bf is know to the lifestyle too, cause his dad is a truck driver too, so that makes that also a lot easier, and he loves trucking too, but a social life outside of trucking is hard, and even harder in my work since i always work at night
I bassicly have only 1 best friend he is a driver too, still have other friends too, most are on the road too, had friend that are not on the road, they quickly became no friends just because of time and not understanding the work we as drivers do each day.
Wish i could retire when i'm 45, probably have to work till i'm 70 ish
True, als longs as you keep your dreams up
Most times yes, sometimes second best can be good enough too
I don't need the biggest and most expensive house, i don't need a new car every few years, my car with 210k miles is good enough for me, when grocery shopping i just buy most times the cheaper option, cause why spend more on the same item when you can save money on it, most of my clothes are second hand, so only the best is good enough is not always the best option
Money also can be decieving, i have more respect for people who can pay for thier stuff than take a loan out or have credit for everything, if you can save up money and buy a new car, or almost new car every 10 years, i have more respect for those than who have a big loan on a car that they switch out every 2 years because the bank says they can
I also live my life, i try to save money as well, but thats more for the future to be able to live and do fun things too, and you only live once, and when your gone you can't take it with you
Yes.. That’s true
The only real way to make money as a owner these days is probably by just chartering for one company and one company inly
So that u can still make some money lol
Ha?
Nice
What's a gopro

Just saw a Ford cab over in the UK 👀 didn't even know they existed
Nicee
is that cupholder easy to reach when driving?
i find mine super annoying
and im not using the ones on top of my dash as those are absolutely useless and then i have to reach over further forward
Yes
nice
mine are ok but the big one wich is only useable is complete other side of the center console
Ford F-max
🔥
thanks i was lookin all over the internet but couldnt find the name or any sign they existed
They are made in Turkey, they are mostly sold on eastern europe, there are a few running in western europe
heres to hoping we start seeing more in the UK 🙏
They slowly selling more and more
All over? just google ford semi truck
I've seem a couple in Norway. All of them had Turkish plates. I think they're getting more common in Germany now though.
Cuz theyre cheap junk
I'd like to try one

Found
On
Roadside,
Dead
hard times so we got a new driver

This is why I love international driving
More km= earlier at the retirement of the truck = getting a brand new one first

tbf if id have a truck
and its 100% just me driving on it
id rather keep driving it till 1mil +
Total 56 hours ain't bad really
Big smile and a nice attitude go a long way
Along with speaking the counties language or show that you're really trying to
I've waiting for long times this was a good week in terms of waiting
i easily wait 2/3 hours
because im in a van
so no driving time so they just tell me to suck it up lol
I waited 9 hours because the goods werent even produced yet
You don't get paid those hours?
Oo okay
Lmao wtf
Usually I won't be home that night anyways so I couldn't care less
aslong as you aint spending weekend in truck
They have to pay for a hotel then
no thanks
All the Maxi autohof's have hotels with them for weekend stays
You get discounts even as a club member
i geuss they get used by non polish latvian drivers etc
I've come home on Saturdays a few times I couldn't care less
True
Comming next month !
new MAN?
It is !
u drive dis tho?
Passed my HGV test today!!!
Yess
Congrats
That looks alot like Ahola Transport's trucks
You can drive only automatic?
thats like normal these days
its rare to even find a company that offers proper manual
i had a event i was at and there was a driving school
and they were like if u want to learn manual your fked
as youll just be using the paddles to shift and then u get manual auth these days
very very few schools still got a proper manual left
due to the stupid euro 6 rules etc
@proper elbow did u survive? :D
In Croatia, you must drive manual in driving school, in last idk 10 Years you drive tandem composition, before that you Are learning on classic truck+trailer composition, idk what is called on english but truck is 18palets and trailer 15, 2 axels on trailer, but front one is steerable.. I recently drive v8 manual E6 and it is such pleasure to drive manual these days when all automatics around us
id love to have manual
not for my daily driving
but id love it for if i get my own personal truck for hobby you know
i did
2 runs from amsterdam to amersfoort
Like this
And this is manual V8 Full Air… pleasure
6 speed?
looks like it
Why can’t it be without rang selector
Cause there’s tons of 6 speeds with no selector. I didn’t even know that was a thing
I understand why 10 13 15 and 18s have selectors and splitters. Cause at that point you would shift all the way to passenger seat😂

Extra money probably
No
It’s an automatic test
Bit if you passed your manual car license
You can drive either
But you pretty much never see a manual truck now anyway, Atleast in the UK
Just the first one I send
12 speed, you have 123 then switch to 456 and every speed u have low and high
can you send the whole interior and exterior pls?
and now even dming me
ur in amersfoort
wtfff

I can when i took this truck again, this one is driving spain and it is from my friend, i sometimes help him and load his truck if he can’t
Ok that makes a lot more sense. Why does the instructions not have a splitter indication tho
0 of them have instructions here, maybe in user manual haha
You have 2 switches and That’s it, it is not hard at all, at first you change gears slowly until you realize how to do it, then it starts to be routine.. It is bit Tricky to go from idk 16 speed transmission to 12.. you can easily put in wrong gear
One of our driver had a little problem this week
ok
did you take music from your home country with you
This is me mixing music from my hometown, I am currently living and working in Sweden
Saw a Scania with a 'stop hybrid - go v8' sticker text
country?
Sweden
nice
No

Nice
Good morning people
That feeling when u stop on Asten for 20min and left without 250€ 🤪
how
Shoping 🤦🏻
a well needed break this morning
a fellow renault driver
what config you got?
socks for hoses, clogs, stickers, some electric parts 🤪🤪
And some pins 🤦🏻

460hp with a faulty ECU for some reason
That appears randomly then disappears
same config as me... except i dont have the ECU problem. I have the RPMC (RPM Control) fault. no matter what it keeps yelling reduce RPM to min. except it is already at min RPM

I started with this one who had faulty injection so the engine shutted off out of nowhere on the highway at max speed is quite scary
After 1 week of working they changed it for that one I shared previously
eek, i started with a 5-axle renault tipper, the DEF pump wasnt working so the truck was always running on 40% power

I mean it was running fine. Until the engine shuts off 3 times in 1 morning
noice
... not
Sometimes my company asks me for late night flatbed work from the factory to the docks next to it
It really differs compared to my metal tipper
If you could see the many polish (love you guys
) drivers with their semi trailers that are not really made for this kind of transport
Or heck even the trucks are not powerfull enough for this
i dont think i wanna
Nope. I mean on the flat bed the 460hp are quite efficient (for a short distance)
have no clue tbh, im more of a tandem driver
Thank god at the driving school I learned on both types of trailers
You have less blindspots with a tandem than a semi trailer
Except you’re like 18,75m long max here
yeah, hence why my boss likes them. he says they are safer
i mean im happy with my wood crane : )
Meanwhile me having to get out in case the crane operator dropped metal stuff on the floor infront of my trailer or tractor wheels
The satisfying thing of it all tho: tipping the trailer (opening the doors first of course) then put in neutral and take off the handbrake and the load pushes you forward
Welp tomorrow is resting time
yeah, i loved that when i drove the tipper. now i just hope it doesnt happen when i tip with my new truck... cuz ya know... sideways be like
I wish once I get enough experience and maybe a new truck in the future is to have a camera above the tipper so I can be sure that the damn thing is empty
i recommend it, really is helpful. i had one on the 5 axle tipper and was so useful.
even when just driving
It’s a tipper trailer but this one can go anywhere even tho it has no steering axles and no deporting on the rear or front
i mean, if you know how to drive it and know how it runs and reacts... you take this places people would have guessed

ronny ceusters?
Yes
saw it from the color skeme on the outside, they have nice trucks.
yeah true the color is pretty well known
some trucks look like they're only show trucks and not work trucks
haha thats what they always get to hear, because they are always so clean. but its a quick picture and go
Looks nice and cozy.
It do be
I really need to get me some red leds in my cab

When your best friend has a night shift for the first time in 2 years, just been for 7.5 hours on the phone with him, when he drove night before we had records of 12+ hours on continiues calling

Good morning ❄️🇫🇮

What areas u drive in finland?
Looks peaceful and beautiful
Healthy trucker life
Yes i know im a McDonalds truck driver
But burgerking is just better
Whopper is the best
lmao sadly yeah since it´s a blue collar truck
What does blue collar truck mean
basically construction truck
I've never ever seen a 4x2 construction truck
If its just tipper use 4x2 are common here
Cuz it can be used for agri stuff too then in seasons
If it runs cement trailers too its usually a 6x4/2
Ban 4x2
Break time. Got some sandwiches and coffee
Nice
I tried making myself a nice sandwich yesterday
I failed
Cheaper to just buy a fresh one at a small sandwicb shop
I just got some butter, cheese, ham and pickles on mine. Can't fail that one
Got a notification about a burnt light like 5km before my break area. Decided to change it while on break, didn't have a correct Torx bit in the truck
Pickles are so good
I bought a kilogram of pickles last night
I have some Lebanese made pickles that's really good
Nope
Good morning
-1
Why can't I talk in vc? @thick cedar
This isnt the channel for that
Oh not that bad
And while that was being said my question could still be answered
But was it?
I mean it's the most slippery so not that good either
Thats annoying yeah
Why?
Not a problem
Walking is a hard skill to master
It is for me when slippery
I got balance issue’s
Very fun whenever i got a big pallet i gotta turn on my liftgate
Just balance

Nice
Do you drive that tho?
No, I drive an XG+
Just stopped this on the truck next to me, not sure how save this is, but i would not drive with it
a few rusty nuts? 🔩
bro that looks like a doorlock
what am i looking at
😂😂😂
also most of those nuts are not on properly
or they sheared of the bolt somehow and were like this is fine..
definetly not safe tho
More than half of the bolts are to short, the nuts are only half on
a lot of bolts don’t go all the way on trucks tho
every single truck ive worked on
Did that, they where gona look at it
not on trucks
it did
And they should go all the way with spare threads
i worked on trucks
yes usually more than the ones on those photos but not all go all the way
normal is like a cm what i saw atleast
I think they swapped the steel wheels for alcoa's but not changed oit the bolts, amd the worst thing is, its a rental truck
Yup
Less thread = less strength
= less safe/unsafe at all
No
at least he have all of them . well ok they are rusted ...
barely visible on camera but its snowing rn and our truck is still on summer tires 😄
Maybe, just have to be carefull with traction in some places
I was rocking summer tryes all winter long last April or whatever it was when it started snowing all of the sudden
I think it was march tho
Woke up in the middle of Germany to a big pack of snow
have heard stories from my teacher about German people taking snowy weather unnecessarily cautiously
Not really unnecessary but they will usually come here on summer tyres and have a hard time
I think I overtook like 5 of them on Sunday
Welp thank god I returned. At the depot
What is wrong?
Tire was flat

I have to get it washed but the local truck was is closed
What happened?
Heard tire screeching but didn’t understand what happened
Car that approached behind didn't see the traffic jam so had to avoid last second, but there was a car there so they collided
That why I always keep a big distance between the vehicle in front of me untill there's some vehicles behind me. Never know if a trucker doesn't see it and slams into you
L
yeah i do the exact same
not worth some idiot going into you and then you going into other people in front

Yep
So sorry to hear that
If its a new one, good luck, if its a older one, yes please
its actros from 2016 i think
Those are not to bad, mp4 first gen was still decent
Its bad
I hate mercedes
Seat is bad
Drives bad
Automatic shifting is bad
Steering is heavy

From what I can tell from Mercedes it seems the retarder is shit aswell
Would you say, its retarded?
Nah it's just bad in my opinion from how my friend who has one it struggles to slow it down.
A quick fix is to retire so you don’t drive the Mercedes
We retire trucks at 600-700k

But scania has a delay of 1-2years
These Mercedes are already driving a year longer then they should’ve
no
When u have to unload in Amsterdam City Central on a sunday
And ur not allowed to be in the city on sunday
Normally takes me 1-2hours to unload 3 adresses
Now i did it in 40min 😂

Just got my truck washed
Damn thats early, 1.5 million was normal for us, the newer lease truck go with 1 million, some truck we had where close to 2 million before the where sent for export
@proper elbow u meant these 2 axle ones or
you drive for HAVI 😍
Yes but its my last month

Where dat
I'm 2 days at the warehouse rn
Not on the phone with colleges much
I know who dat is tho

nice
good way to keep up your manual skills in a truck
anyways i have a 5am start tomorrow
and i do not look forward to it
5am is my standard time
Throwback to this beast
Asphalttruck for as long as nijkamp used it
Until we got it as a terminal truck
XF105 is the best
Waarom heeft die man geen kenteken?
Why are u talking dutch
If u look properly it should be clear why its got none
Big trip today
@formal minnow where are you
I've been here
Not in finland yet
But ill be in that area from 6-12 February i believe
I think we have a stop in rovaniem
SCS please?
Doubt u drive these
H
Nah, in our company we use this trucks (Scania P, Renault K440 and Another Renault K440 but 2006)
Omgekeurd naar MMBS
Don't know the English word voor that
So you're allowed to drive it with T license (tractor). Its limiter has been put on 40kph also
25kmh without license plate
We tried to do the same with the red one but it's n longer allowed
yes and without plate your only allowed to go 25 with plate your allowed to go 40
i think most don't care because then they can drive 40 as well
sad we can't have personal license plates
One could argue the trailer has a plate so 40kph
Okay but do u drive it
Because the trucks in those pics arent any of the ones u sent either earlier so
Who ghost tagged me
Divers week lol
Retrieving a truck from a driver ho had a little hand incident and went to the hospital
Oof
Nice
empty one tank, fill up the other
why does every Scania sound like it has rod knock?
Did they just change the headlight design for this new Volvo?
It overall also became more streamlined for fuel efficiency afaik
Three years ago
Soon four
Only got one tank
By "emptying one tank" I meant "taking a piss break"
I use the WC in terminals. Not on gas stations
I forgot it's called WC in Europe
Sameee
Id rather hold it 12 hours if i cant find a mcdonalds or at a company
lucky, because if I take just 1 sip of water I have to go in like 30 mins

Im basicly immune untill ive gone atleast once not counting my wakeup one
Then i can hold it a few but if i can avoid having to go i do
https://youtu.be/7D3BECoTdiI?si=9b3z7EuNyCV0egjr small clip of me driving thanks to @lucid birch
Streamsniping trucker_dylan

drives like a crazy man
Noo it wasnt that bad

Yesterday i did a speedbump and im pretty sure i lifted all tires of the ground
And i didnt even go fast
Verify your self, and you will be able to do that
Click on the banner/name of the server, then connected roles, and then follow the instructions there
Little rough, but the best type there is is
How many km
Okay
Would love to drive a XF105 again best trucks i drove
Thats something completely different
Its not worth it for that bro
We have no vision
Alltough thats not that bad
Not like ull see anyone closely infront walking if the table wasnt there
Table more important than vision
Ofcourse
And then one of my coworkers complains about a pig on the dash, thats in the corner placed behind the lightbox the pig is a problem, but the lightboxes not
Planning; Rowan u have to leave at 5:15 to be on time at customer 1 at 8:30 in the morning.
Also planning:
Im there 7:30 i could have slept an hour longer!!!!
Relatable
The amount of times ive arrived somewhere at 7 after 5 am start
For them not to open till 9
Also planning expecting me to drive this in 19,5 hours

no money for painted bumper but they can paint the thing behind name badge 🤔
Spoiler always comes painted lol
this i mean
That's called a mask
damn
nice my old tet company at school time
Ebic
yes, good company
Yes. Been in this company for little over a year now and I've really enjoyed it
nice. my tet was 7 years ago there
Nice
my ex worker tools

U drive scrap or
last year yes now not
I really need to get out of the warehouse and van driving... any tips on this trip im about to begin. The drivers at my workplace really hate the job. They dont even like trucks. So the tips i get is. "be a taxi driver"
The words can't say the much that I like that Volvo
It's still pretty basic but I'll get some more stuff for it probably next month
If ur company has vans just ask if u can go on em for a week as ridealong/driver
See if u like it
Better then taxi tbf
Dont needa deal with drunks
Unless u meet pjotr at parking for 72h on friday evening

I drive the vans and i grow up in a taxi so xD i had enough. Me need truck. I'm saving on upgrading my license and there was an offer but, i go technically blind
What kind of business you work at? That all the drivers say they hate it?
retail. that takes drivers that own their box trucks and they make a contract that makes them into workers. 1/3 driving. 2/3 working in the warehouse. its bad. but it pays good.
also its a big retailer with a small fleet. really small. most of the times things are left behind. Rules? nope. overtime in the road. why not.
If you really wanna drive trucks then ditch that company, there plenty of good employers out there and 90% of them will pay your license partially or in full, if you agree to stay at that company after you get your license for a couple of years.
What country you in?
thats what im looking for. i had an offer from a friend(+1 point) for driving a box truck. manage things myself. like house movings and small works. but he dont want to help with the license.
Greece. im planing on leaving
Saw my good friend @rain skiff
Nice
72hour?
Weekend rest is 48
Oh
Well whatever

It took me 3 hours to do like 16 km
Bit of fog and everyones iq on driving goes on 0
Apparently its cuz someone on a bike got killed in the tunnel that sucks
@blissful edge is this allowed?

Again?
@blissful edge
Wasn’t this posted before as well?
No, also imagine thinking we use screwdrivers
We just dont replace lights till the fleet manager does it lol
And if its on and needs gone we got hammers for that

Its this one
it has the ik mag alles lampjes (im allowed to anything lights)
🤔😁
Nice

Got few more work lights
Can never have enough
I wish i had some on my van
I cant see anything reversing in dark/ rain since i dont have a camera on this van
And my reverse lights are useless 😆
Thats true. And such small investment to avoid thousands of euros of damage if you hit something
I mean
Depends what id hit
If i reverse straight into something the most damage id have is perhaps a broken light housing depending how high the thing is i hit
The other part well uh yes
But yeah if j do start for myself with a van or something even if i got truck license because cheaper to start out
Its definitely getting worklights allround
Its very annoying to not have it

Mhm
I've driven 2023 Scanias and 2023 man's but the man's definitely more brutal and requires somewhat skill and knowledge to drive. Scania is just shift in gear and go
Imagine
19 year olds teaching 15 year olds how to drive👍
How so
Drives entirely different
I guess you could say driving a scania is more like arcade mode
