I tried even without enrage so he doesn't have shield, i had albert kongol and dart, kongok receives 23k dmg already halved with the scarf
until I can get to Faust I need to do several disc 4 things

Yes but it took me less than 3 hours from vellweb and then i defeated the dragoons before going to faust

I am lvl 6 Lvl 3, i got item for halved magic dmg and evasion but he deals 23k dmg on kongol, 11k on dart and he attacks twice

I just got to zenebatos and bought all the ds armors and bought the solitary ring in ulara for 99k gold
if you are abusing gold
you can also come back to the black castle
a researcher there has a bunch of weapons and shit for A LOT of money
the solitary ring I think is kinda useless if your team has more than one character
what are the best ways to grind gold btw? Best method I know is farming 00parts

I'm grinding meru dragoon lvl vs regole ghost with cool boogie and solitary ring and her ds armor xd almost hit 100 cool boogie

Over 130 cool boogie in one battle xD i went from lvl2 to lvl 4 dragoon
I suggest to use turbo controller for grinding to lvl7... My wrists are asking for mercy...
These 2 are the easiest to grind cuz of their sp bonus on the weapon... The others will be tedious

Hell mode uses a custom build of severed chains (from october) check the pinned messages for information

Finally I beat Faust, it took me a lot of tries, btw without enrage
Holy Ankh on Dart made it, revived 4 or 5 times
I used speed down, speed up on Dart, then power down
DART'S SPECIAL
Then Rose Storm
And Holy Ankh did the rest, a bit of luck on missing attacks
With enrage it is nearly impossible
Ring of Block is a must on Albert
Lloyds boots and ring of reversement a must on kongol
I strongly suggest this trio cuz of high Hp with Dragon's Helm, a must on all the team
Using Albert and kongol, the two characters with the lowest mdef, against the enemy with the highest magic stat, that only does magic as attacks is crazy work lol

Something like Dart Haschel Rose, or Shana/Meru just as a tank sounds better
You don't need 9999 HP when you have triple the mdef than kongol lmao
Albert's HP clipping into Kongol's portrait triggers my OCD beyond normal levels.
bro if u see I used ring of reversal on Kongol... he has the highest magic Def in the game because that ring swaps physical with magical defense... Rose has a good resistance vs Faust but half of Kongol's Hp, Meru with Dragoon Helm is only 6,7k Hp, Maybe Haschel would work here
And 9k hp is only in menu... he has 15k in battle...
idk what ring of reversal is though

I got an issue where Kongol suddenly in all my sav files has 33% less hp. someone knows why? it says 14k but then he has 9,7k, or it says 9.7k without dragon helm but then in battle has 6.5k?
there are some equips that edit max hp but it will only display in battle

Defeated Zieg... Armor of Legend and Legend Casque are the best choice here... Meru with 4.5k hp takes 9k dmg from Zieg's red dragoon attack but it's fine, not on her special and he doesn't spam it, a few prayers and a few rains
Albert and Kongol main dmg
If I tried the full magical atk Meru would have done a nice dmg with blue dragoon

Ok now I need help on Melbu Frahama 😔
He has 1 billion hp and max dmg is 22 millions with dart divine cannon, others max is 1 million from kongol... It takes over than 700 turns but he does over 10k dmg on their weak element... After a while spams monsters that have can't combat, he one shots with ice and light element, wind too and after a while attacks from 2 to 4 times in a row
I got full magic defence but still one shots, when he does ice or light aoe one shots too so idk how to do
Melbu is made to be fought with a full team, not just 3 party member
So he's kind of unbeatable right now

the last update was months ago, and the next one is gonna take just as long, so it's good to have the issues written down so 1. people don't report the same issues over and over again during those months. 2. People don't get their playthroughs ruined when they can avoid those issues by reading them in the months it takes between updates

Not sure if i post questions here or not but i think i may have run into an issue. I just hit level 16 with lavitz and all additions that i have unlocked are maxed out. But for whatever reason i cant unlock anything after rod typhoon. Correct me if im wrong but doesnt he learn it at like level 11? If anybody can help with that i would appreciate it. I would hate to have to start all over lol.

yeah, i did unequip the spirit bottle and protection amulet and so far ive been crashless
im surprised i un-multi threaded the new floating numbers.
i will have to pay attention to that for the rewrite

it's using the mp per turn code not the additional event i added to the main thread to display multiple numbers
if the additional numbers aren't appearing on top of the other numbers than dramod v1.3 still has threading on the numbers and i removed it after

I think this is fine, and I love that some of the rewards from the ultimate fights are getting more inventory
I think it would be great if the ultimate bosses would start earlier, instead of so late into the game
like sure, still make them hard ofc, and make them so the average level to beat them is whatever you want
but would be nice if I could challenge an ultimate boss whenever and wherever in the game I am
instead of so late into disc 3
as in, I would have liked to challenge Frueguel ultimate boss a bit earlier than I did, and beat him with strategy, so I could also get the inventory expand reward earlier lol
using a mage character is kind of meh when hell mode basically requires you to have ~25 healing items (counting pots and revives), and you can barely bring enemy magic items 
there is two other content that i have mapped out, one of them will be available for the entire game basically so the inventory expansion rewards will move there.
speaking of i need a world map event...

found a grinding method with the party unlock function have a single party member and exp share at 100% so everyone gets full exp
i mean you can already sync everyone's levels with dramod dramenu to the highest level party member

Forgive the dumb question if it's in the wrong space ( I've been sifting through threads, forums, pins, etc for the past hour or so ) is it supposed to be intentional that the Fire Bird isn't dropping the Red-Eyed Stone? I've finished the Shrine of Shirley and the Silver Stone dropped so am I missing something or have I stumbled upon a bug? To clarify a bit yes this is the Hell Mode beta

Every boss has 100% boss drop rate unless there is an error in the console window or a conflict with another mod.
That's concerning then. I'm not using any other mods but I didn't know (and didn't think) to check the console for an error. I did notice I recieved a very large amount of fire arrows after the fight ended and assumed it was lower in the list. Hellena visit 2 was quite hellatious without the stone.

Fire bird might've used it once in that encounter (I ran it twice so the attempts are smearing in my memory) but I was intentionally destroying them to waste his turn.

I would, mainly just making sure whatever addition you're using allows for you to hit dragoon ASAP for the " problem fights " and having attack magic items ready to go at a moment's notice.

It will be a mod for SC but it will run on the regular SC build
You won't need to download a special version of SC, you'll just drop it into the mods folder

so just crushed the Grand Jewel in Hell mode dragoon Miranda dealing 6000 with wind arrows was unexpected

Speaking of which, I've got some feedback on her healing, Moon Light's all good, but I think Gates of Heaven should always take half of her MP, it appears too strong even with the nerf it got at the moment
gates of heaven doesn't feel too strong in my opinion then again I'm only at D level 5 it's meant to be the equivalent of a mega pheonix to save your butt when you need to revive both your character in an emergency

My problem with it is that items can't used in Dragoon, and Dragoon is meant to be power focused, and since Shana is already massively powerful and is the only dragoon who can revive, it makes her as the most OP party member with item limits and MP recover equipment. She'd be pretty much the only support party member you always need and I think the others deserve more opportunity to be in that role.
She just has too much ultilty that goes unpunished haha

I don't think it really matters, when you can very easily hop off dragoon form in SC
You have 1 turn where you can’t use items if you special, incoming damage can be so high it may be too late, therefor Shana can easily revive

or use special, and immediately get off dragoon on the next turn of another character
or use special of a character with the element oppossing of the enemy, so their attacks do less damage, so it's never too late
or bring a tank, with enough hp and/or def/mdef
idk, there are so many strats that you can do that are as strong as shana's revive
it already heals less the more dead characters
besides taking one third of her mp
as you said, you can get infinite mp potions
so I don't see much difference between having two spell uses or three uses either

Dragoon Defense is 20% when Guard is 50%, if one was dying a lot anyway in human form then it doesn’t matter but not when Shana has her revive power so often, the issue is getting it back through MP recovery too per turn too quickly, half of max MP which would usually be 5 turns for mage ring would be a better spot, I just don’t like how OP Shana’s healing spells are compared to Meru and Rose because of revives, I still need her to survive more often, that and angle robe/holy ankh is still the best just for revive chance, I’d put it at 30%

Kongol is quickly become a favorite go to for my Hell mode playthrough with his massive health, high physical damage, and counter stance makes him really powerful. Plus I have Miranda and Meru to back him up with damage and heals.
btw coming up on Mayfil so is the Tree and the Moon still a one way once you're there, there's no going back?

I haven't gotten around to fully testing it but I'm guessing on any character that you'd reasonably want to place the items on, it genuinely won't matter because it'll still be better ( most of the time ) than the alternative. Got sick of seeing a spark net 1 shot Dart XD I honestly think this is the first time I've pulled him entirely out of rotation ASAP
yeah almost beat DD ghost for some reason the damage of Heat Wave just one shots my entire team
got it down to 6000 health
every attack from DD ghost is manageable except for Heat Wave
it's +20% DF/MDF essentially
killed the ghost of the Divine Dragon needed to pull of two dragoon specials but pulled it off
probably the 3rd hardest fight in hell mode
yeah talked about it but Heat wave spell was it's highest damaging attack
new new new hell mode will make DD Cannon it's highest damaging attack
just murdered Zackwell
was fighting DD ghost with level 43-44 characters blocking with Kongol the hits from the canon was doing 3000+ damage
went to fight Faust to see what I'm up against at level 45 so he's got 128000 health and does well over 20000 with his opening attack
that's low damage numbers
well those were the numbers on Meru and Miranda
should be double for meru and miranda
I've done pretty good at getting their magic defense pretty high think I got Miranda's to something over 300

Waiting on the full release patiently but enthusiastically. Going to let a friend try the hard mode when it's available to try and introduce them to the game, they found the original a bit too easy to hold their attention.

I am currently working on another mod originally planned for Hell mode to be included with DraMod but it can be used as a separate standalone mod.

Main branch is currently missing several events I need. Also they are doing... things... that it is just best for me to wait for so I am not working on DraMod so I can just pull request what I need after without too much hassle when it is all done.

The near entirety of DraMod is currently borked. It needs a full rewrite. Normal, Japan, Japan Demo, and NA Demo (maybe), will be available in the next beta phase, hard and hell mode will have a few exceptions.
The three "Hard Mode" difficulties will also be available, Normal + Hard Bosses, Hard Mode, and Hard Mode + Hell Bosses. They will have some slight changes, you will have to defeat Melbu Frahma to unlock the level cap, dragoon level cap, ultimate boss, the two additional reworked areas originally available in Hell Mode at this point... and Hell Mode itself.
However Hell Mode can be auto unlocked various means without completing Hard Mode.
I have taken your feedback and will implement some of it in the new version of Hell Mode. The previously mentioned mod from #1 will get a specific Hell Mode overhaul and will be a part of the main progression.
- The new revamp of Ultimate Boss for level 60+ characters thus completing DraMod features.

made it to the Moon in hell mode each of the personal bosses seems to be untouched though I only have Miranda's to go off of

Imago no matter what is a pretty easy boss it's pretty much just a special monster
imago was easy because i didn't make the law city zenebatos item shop available
it was one of the bosses on the watch list
the only thing I could think of was make it faster and do more damage but that reaches a point where it impacts the fun you're having
there are other ways to make it more interesting but i rather not step too much on new mechanics and save it for ultimate boss

In final fantasy games, they have either a cactus that does 9999 dmg if they are attacked, or a tiny innocent ghost with a dagger that oneshots each time, thoughts on creating a custom unique "punishment" boss minion if people meet certain conditions? Obviously make it game over 90% of people who meet X criteria... but leave that 10% chance to actually counter it... 😄

You can get specifics in the documentation but you build it up, then pop it to get extra damage out of her magic if memory serves. Been a while since I looked it over I've been using others for a while.
I read : "Rose will provide additional healing to herself while using any attack in Dragoon form and others if using Astral Drain"
That kinda mislead me
Basically you build up the extra damage with other attacks, pop it, use astral drain and it gets buffed.
I though she would heal by attacking in dragoon, wich kinda balance her low hp

Would you be willing to release a dragoons uncapped mod that allows for uncapped dragoon levels as a standalone mod? I think it would be super cool just to have that in base game of having a higher SP capacity and max mana.

Yep that is it. Unfortunately dramod is currently locked to hell mode dataset but once it is out of beta you can create your own difficulties easily with the increased dragoon levels.

Well keep Zychronix's response in mind. It is still in beta so I'd be careful about just jumping in at the deep end. Especially since hoping for them to be providing support for someone who has edited the files is a big assumption seeing as it's not even out of beta yet.
