i used it... 3 times during the whole playthrough and like when you convert enemies to thunder that's the problem
the beta testers can test if it is too op or not xD. what's important is that the monsters are right.
Haschel - Thunder Charge & Static Charge
While Haschel is in the party and has obtained his Dragoon Spirit, enemies can be applied with a "Thunder Charge".
Thunder Charge is gained 50% of the time when performing Thunder based damage.
When Haschel is performing a physical attack there is a 50% of gaining a Thunder Charge regardless of Thunder-based physical attacks.
When Haschel is performing a physical attack in Dragoon form there is second 50% chance of gaining a Thunder Charge. Both 50% chances can only add 1 Thunder Charge.
At the maximum 10 stacks of Thunder Charge on an enemy, Haschel can use Dragoon Form Spark Net to deal 2.93x 3.5x damage.
Dragoon Form Spark Net will deal ~~8.8x ~~ 7.07x damage to Thunder based enemy at Dragoon level 1. This damage will increase by 1.01x per Dragoon level maxing out at Dragoon Lv 7 at 13.13x damage. The next thunder based attack by any party member, to the same enemy, will be increased by 3x. This additional bonus can not be used with Dragoon Form Spark Net.
When equipped with the weapon "Thunder Fist" or "Overcharge Glove" there is a possibility to gain 2 Thunder Charge's in a single turn.
Current Thunder Charges will be displayed under Haschel's portrait when attacking a single target.
You can use the battle menu to select Static Charge and all Thunder Charges will be collected from each enemy, dead or alive. You can carry up to 20 Thunder Charges and apply a maximum of 10 to an enemy at a time. If you have any excess they will be lost at the time of using a Static Charge. A secondary bar will appear above Haschel's portait displaying the amount of Thunder Charges gathered. Applying Thunder Charges this way disables gaining them from the normal method.

LOD (Level Of Detail) is a technique used in 3D to set model quality depending on the distance to the Camera, this way you can add more objects to the scene and depending on a set distance the model get load another replacing model of more quality and so on... since TLoD had not that in the Engine but simply they set a Model Quality depending to the Scene and how close the Camera was of Dart...

been a long time since i played, had to get a new pc. i downloaded the pc port from the website, then went to the dragoon modifier lastest dev build on github and downloaded what was there but when i start up the game and click new campaign i dont see the modifier in the mods list. what am i missing here?

Quick how to
While exploring submaps press SQUARE or key C to open the DraMod Menu.
While exploring submaps press SELECT or key V to open the DraMod Achievements screen.
Press UP or DOWN in battle to open the secondary battle menu to activate character abilities.
Hell Mode has locked some gameplay options.
The following options are locked.
Inventory Size will stay at 32 until you beat a few Ultimate Bosses (Disc 3 after Flanvel Tower)
[DM] Enrage Mode - On
[DM] Elemental Bomb - On
Dragroon Detransformation - After Turn (Select the Dragoon button to detransform after action)
Dragoon Guard - Off (unlocked at Dragoon Level 6)
Dragoon Escape - Off
Dragoon Equip Effects - Off (makes Hell Mode too easy)

Character enhancement overview
Dart – Any attack in Dragoon will give Burn stacks. While Dart has any amount of stacks use the secondary battle menu to activate them and the next attack will increase damage. At max all spells use 0 MP.
Lavitz/Albert – Using Dragoon Magic will cause status effect Wind Mark on enemies. The next time that enemy is attacked their turn meter is lowered. Wind Barrier costs MP per turn and whenever Lavitz/Albert are attacked the attackers turn meter is lowered.
Shana/??? – Get elemental arrows from various locations to use item magic when using a physical attack. Arrows go into your inventory and can not be equipped.
Rose – Any attack in Dragoon will give Siphon. When Siphon is maxed this will be added to the base damage of the next attack.
Haschel - When Haschel is in the party any thunder based attack has a 50% chance to add a Thunder Charge to an enemy. If Haschel is in Dragoon form every dragoon attack performed by Haschel has two separate 50% chances to generate a Thunder Charge. When Haschel is not in Dragoon form there is only one 50% chance to generate a Thunder Charge. At most Haschel can apply two thunder charges in a single attack. When the Thunder Charge bar is full (10 charges applied to a single enemy) Haschel can deal 7.07 + (Haschel's dragoon level - 1 * 1.01) times more damage with Dragoon Form Spark Net. If the enemy was Thunder element this damge is multipled by an additional 3.5 times damage.
Haschel can gather all Thunder Charges present on every monster, dead or alive, with Static Charge. The next time Haschel attacks will apply all Thunder Charges, up to a maximum of 10, gathered with the Static Charge to a single enemy.
Meru – Ice Shield depletes 10 MP per turn, any attack Meru does a small portion of it will be gained as Ice Shield. When in this state guard is also increased from 8% to 15%.
Kongol – Kongol’s speed is set to 0 and whenever he is attacked he will gain full turn meter in Counter Stance. In this state Kongol will heal whenever he takes a turn, is always considered having lesser guard, and can only attack.
Known issues
Some monsters when using “Show Turn Order” appear as “?”. Please report the encounter so they can be fixed.
Known missing monsters: Crafty Thief, DD Ball, DD Cannon, Windigo Heart, Michael (core), Madman
All but "Loop" achievements should be obtainable, but have not been tested. Please report any achievement that can not be obtained other than the one listed below.
Overcapped achievement does not work with item magic.
Selecting a difficulty other than Hell Mode crashes the game
Fire Spirit bug?
Game allows you to fully special at 500 SP even with all level 7s.
Shana's lv6 ability soft locks.
Divine Dragoon/Zieg(?) bugs the game, but should not be obtainable in the beta. If you already beat Ultimate Boss Fire Bird there is no more content after this point in the beta.
Some stardust achievements are triggering earlier than expected.
Jank to be fixed later
DraMenu and DraAchievements does not resize with the window.
Weak Shield and Shield Generator display the amount on the character in slot 1 instead of who it is used on.
Ultimate Drake the Bandit stutters when attacked while Enemy Perfect Shield is activated.
The display of additional numbers is implemented terribly.
Achievement display becomes jank in some scenarios.
Beta jank
The “Loop” achievement can not be obtained as you can’t gain the final repeat items in this version.

Dragoons max level is now raised from 5 to 7 and are vastly more powerful than base game.
Shana and Lavitz can be added back to the party once they go “missing”.
Hell Mode has been rebalanced. All bosses now have Automatic Protection Shield at certain HP intervals. Due to this many of the early game bosses have had their Max HP lowered as well. Severed Chains has made making additional content easier, to speed up progression through the story, all boss encounters now provide an additional 50% EXP and all party members will count as alive at the end of battle. Hell Mode encourages you to swap party members, use the Level Sync feature to sync all characters level based on the character with the highest EXP up to a certain amount. There is no more Hell Mode+ as it is now the standard Hell Mode. Based on feedback during the beta the difficulty will be adjusted.
Many of the shops have brand new equips. You can also access the Hero Competition Shop through the DraMod Menu so you don’t have to buy tickets.
Powerful elemental items will change the element of monsters to element of the item used for a certain amount of turns. You can buy these for the Ele Bomb Shop through the DraMod Menu after Lohan Hero Competition.
Return to the Black Castle after Disc 1 to find a mysterious new researcher! You can exit the black castle by going back through the underground entrance.
Refight bosses for new rewards by returning to Forbidden Land and using the DraMod menu to start an Ultimate Boss. The first three bosses can be done at around level 30. The next five of bosses can be done at around level 35-40.
While in Forbidden Land or Aglis you can access the Wingly Forest or Rogue item shop through the DraMod Menu as you are trapped there once you’ve entered.
Kamuy and Polter Armor may be harder than expected when first encountering them. Completing the Kamuy quest gives you 5x the 5x amount.
Dragoons in Vellweb can be fought at around level 40.
The Moon is no longer the point of no return. Once you reach the Lunar Core after beating Archangel you can warp back to Ulara using DraMod Menu.
Fight a mirror version of Faust on the Lunar Core map with the big screens of Seles using the DraMod Menu for a ton of EXP. Fight this version of Faust 40 times or battle him when any character is level 60 to get Armor of Legend and Legend Casque.

I haven't played Severed Chains or Dragoon Modifier before, so I don't know if this is normal, but I appear to have started with all the Dragon Stones. Dart can transform into a Dragoon from the very first battle. is this intended?

Hello, I was able to test a bit of the changes in the dramod this morning. First of all, good work to the whole team. I don’t know if it’s normal, but the changes to the dramod during a new game are automatically unchecked after each fight, such as the number of spots in the inventory which amounts to 32, so I have to put everything back into place, which can be frustrating in the long run.
I believe hell mode overrides your inventory size since it has items or something that expand it
@sweet wyvern Thank you for the quick response. However, the majority of the options in the dramod are unchecked by themselves; it is not just the inventory such as the dragoon escape menu, dragoon guard menu etc. Possible that there is something I didn’t understand.

- The two Sandora soldiers in Hoax are "?"
- The sandora Elite fight has his two clones as "?", they also have the full shield value so it's pretty easy to get the right one first try
I'll stop for now, just after getting the 50 battles achievement right after Hoax, for now the balance seems fine to me and it's really fun !

Monoxide is right, Hell Mode will turn on/off features every battle. Inventory Size is controlled through Ultimate Boss which unlocks in disc 3. Only for Hard Mode (which will currently crash the game) I will leave these options alone.

so by the time you need to use this and if you've used lavitz for the entirety of disc 1 this won't show up.
however the code is completely wrong in base SC.
in battle it will check all additions if party flag 0x40 is checked
in the additionlistmenu it just does nothing and unlocks it
well i am blaming retail because it happens there too. it should be the same as the battle code.

That was your total siphon amount.
If rose has 579 Max HP or w/e. It'll display an additional number letting you know the current siphon amount.
So when the second number says 579 you can use Siphon overflow or just check Rose's bar to see if it is full.

I had Monster ID 148 and Monster ID 149 as Madman but they are actually Slimes.

hmm now i restarted the game and got to this point again but now neither rose nor the dragon are coming into frame. the game isnt fozen like locked up because i can see the smoke / cloudes in the air moving across the screen and the wind audio is playing

i use the turbo function on my controller to auto advance text in this game and the turbo button is the select button on my controller. seems pressing that button bricks this cutscene

For Sandora Elite and Kongol combined you need two healing breeze (one from Basil near Lavitz´s house and the other from drop) and 5 healing potions, also 3 or 4 Angel prayer, and 5 ice items

There's a cheese to sandora elite but I am not mentioning it.

The shield/no shield thing was fine, but there were some turns where nothing worked, not even shadow
dropping it into half health in 2 turns and then obliterating him via shadow ✅

I know the current build is made for Hell Mode only so far and I wasn't expecting this to work, but I was curious and wanted to try it anyway. I copied the file of the JP difficulty that are in the v2.0-HellMode-Beta-1 tag on github and I put it in the mod. It kind of work, I was able to see the difficulty and select it, but the Knight of Sandora at the beginnign of the game were dealing 0 dmg using their Throwing Dagger and 1 dmg using their Sword Slash, and the Commander was dealing 1 and 3 dmg after boosting with melee attack. However, Commander's Burn Out seams to be dealing the proper amount of dmg. Did the physical dmg formula changed for Dragoon Modifier? I compared the monster stats for both enemies with what they have in the version of Dragoon Modifier that work with the version 2.1 of Severed Chain and their AT are the same.

@sweet wyvern this is bugged, if you set this between 0 and 1, it reverts back to 0 or 1, dependant if the number is close to each one
