Role play fiction I think
It’s from AO3
Like the fanfics women like to read
Usually involves men having sex either with their self insert or with other men
Max is no8 most popular top on the entire site, while Charles is 12th for bottoms basically

F1TV might have to be renewed for Australia
The guys at Wearechecking decided it was a good idea to stream football matches and they got sued so hard by premier league that they can never come back even rebranding as another site

out of all creators, lando fans attacking ricksf1addiction is a strange choice
when will they understand their favorite is not universally liked and its not the law of the world to glaze him
I cannot imagine willingly following a fan account dedicated to a single driver, let alone caring. People are craazzyyy
yeah its wild out there
i get fan accounts in my feed but i only interact with them if they post something of value
everyone knows rick is first and foremost an alonso fan, and then a max fan. He hasnt had lewis fans ever wishing bad things on him so why are these lando fans so pressed all the time

i miss him so much
even if he joins a tier 3 farmers league i WILL WATCH
fuck if i care, when ford makes that LMDh they better put max and him and let em have a go
Tomorrow morning we’ll have the redbull livery
Everything seems to point them changing things up for once
I’m hyped I hope I don’t get disappointed by the same matte blue
My guess is a slightly shiny blue, and a ford badge somewhere
The redbull is…
HOT
redbull back to the 2010s with the livery, VCARB mixing their last year's livery with the alpha tauri look
im afraid its peak
logan in the ford hypercar
🦅
i like this
i like this too
Livery design and full render suite design for @redbullracing ’s contender in the 2026 F1 championship. A dream come true, and a design direction that is 10 years in the making. Hard to describe how this one feels. We’ve created something I hope speaks for itself, so I’ll try to keep it brief!
It’s the team’s first major livery redesi...
8602
I fucking knew it!
The same as last year but a slightly different blue
They're calling it a major redesign? SERIOUSLY?!?
It's the same livery they removed one red stripe and altered the blue.
Some small changes to motifs and a missing small stripe does not make a major redesign
idk why people think the drinks company car is not going to have the drinks company logo as its major point of design no matter the era..
the redbull logo on the nose and engine cover is the same as ferrari being red
Oh it looks good and always has but this is not a major exciting development
its the team's major feature of recognition
i personally think it suits them better
i didnt like the matte cars
the red bulls gonna look good at the night races
It's got ford racing blue for the ford engines. And F1 Academy had it first.
The F1 car is just this without the red stripe, and some hype because "woah it's so different"
red bull weren't gonna change too mucb, they have their identity sorted
but I'm all for the additional blue rather than the matte purple
and the gloss
They have literally JUST painted it a different shade of blue
i mean, look at the rb11 the last glossy car they did
same basic concept. majority purple, bull covers the engine cover and nose cone
engine supplier just under the bull at the back
Yes, but when they suggest "biggest redesign in over a decade" I dont expect it to be exactly the same with a different shade of blue.
If they'd not built some excitement and hype for omg something new and crazy, it would just be the 2026 red bull
It's EXACTLY what I expected it to be.
it is cause since 2016 when they started breaking away from Renault they've had more or less the same livery
Yes this is the biggest move for a decade but it is not a major redesign
They painted it a new shade of blue and removed a red stripe.
I'd call it a major redesign personally. more variety of colour, digital motif hidden in the blue. the return of the white outlines on the bull and the numbers
There is not more variety of colour
And the digital motif also has the word "test" in it, so it'll likely be replaced with a more flat ford glossy blue after testing
That is just not "major" to me. That feels like a normal next iteration of a livery. It's VERY iterative
dunno what to tell you. i do like it, very much different from the last 10 years
like i could immediately tell you thats the 26 car whereas you could barely tell between 2022-2025 or 2018-2021
which ones 2018 and which ones 2019
Of course it's instantly recognisable, it's a different shade of blue
That just isn't major
Apart from the blue, the alterations are on the scale of "things you can probably get away with between races to make it look better on TV"
Upgrade
IT'S SO ON FOR 2026 BOYS
can you recap? who
damn
you think theyre gonna get anyone competent?
any decent one available i wonder

🚨 BREAKING: Mercedes reportedly asked the Nürburgring management to move an NLS race… so Max Verstappen can race there.
Toto Wolff and Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Källenius have reportedly asked the organizers of the Nürburgring Nordschleife to postpone the opening round of the NLS, scheduled for March 14, so that Max Verstappen can take part.
Verstappen wants to prepare properly for the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, but the first NLS race clashes with the Chinese Grand Prix. NLS boss Mike Jäger has confirmed that a request has been made, but says that no decision has been taken at this stage.

one of the worst parts of the circuit is ommited in the first sector
so this is actually a pretty decent layout
6, 7, and 8 are a mystery, that's grass covered in Google maps
I think it's a shame they're not using the entire end of the back straight, but it probably just wouldn't make sense for energy usage

Nice looking Ferrari
Honestly... I think the white space is well sized that it looks weird Without a sponsor up there
The big white panel seperates the red from the blue. It works in my eyes
Especially since theres a blue IBM wing too
DO YOU WANT ME TO END IT ALL MARIO I SWEAR TO GOD
They really hate giving the people a trackside camera style raised three quarter view of this car
ok i don't watch formula e but even if jaguar racing are found guilty for fixing races i will believe there innocent and they can do no wrong?
why?
all for this
Jaguar can't even fix races well enough to win the championships 😔
How do they allow this but not the twingo
the dacia team is implying the twingo people are lying and have not managed to make a legal car and are blaming it on the organizers wrongly
the dacia has raced last year in the N24 without issue
also the twingo people are saying that the dacia team has people on the inside allowing them to race
so god knows
Why would they even lie
I dont see the point
🤷
Men only want one thing
I'm gonna be looking forward to driving these in GT7 this upcoming update

Alright so I've seen a couple of the new F1 liveries and I've got somethings to say
- Audi: Insanely basic. The base livery design was basic but I was hoping the titles and decals to add to the interest, but they haven't realy. Its not ugly, but definitely not interesting to me either
- Ferrari: Seems to be a homage to alot of their older liveries, with the red body, white accent and black wing and splitter. Not a bad look, and hopefully will have some performance and highlights
- Alpine: I did say that the 2025 Alpine livery was a really good look. So they basically ported it over unchanged for the 2026 car lol. It still looks good, but damn I really did expect to see a bit more than basically nothing new
- Haas: Holy moly it looks good. Same old white and black and red Haas, but more stylish now. The GR titles look great too. Definitely a strong look. I hope to see Haas' first podium or even Win this season
- VCARB: A very very strong look. Takes alot of hints from the old Alphatauri designs, and is essentially an inverse of the current RB livery. Looks great, and I think it's their best one yet as VCARB
- Mercedes: Some slight alterations from 2025, and it's a decent look overall. It's a black and silver and teal colorscheme but with some actual points of interest and if rumors are true, is gonna be quite dominant this season
- Red Bull: I will admit that I've almost never been a Red Bull fan. And that's partially due to their designs never particularly interesting me. But this one? Holy moly, it is the most beautiful livery of this season yet. I really do like it. Looks super strong, with the vibrant dark blue finally popping out. I'm very glad to see Red Bull finally look good
welcome back nima
Hehehe
Thanks alot mario
I am sooooo happy to be back
It was tough having basically no Internet
Nima!!!! Hello friend and fellow Ferrari livery enjoyer
Heyyyyy!
Tweeetman!
God I missed you
I am glad you like the Ferrari livery too
You know what I said about Ferrari finally being able to have some consistent performance?
This doesn't exactly inspire confidence
Yessss
Exactly
Btw hi
Furxy! Hello!
And I'm glad to have your sentiemtn on the car too
Top 4 of the best liveries of 2026 so far this year
- Just like nima, I've never been a fan of the red bull liveries but this one has that sick "candy" look to it and it def feels refreshing.
- It has to be the mercedes since their liveries always had a special place for me especially this one with its aggressive tone.
- Top 3 is for Hass' just because I'm a huge fan of the toyota gr racing liveries, I don't really have anything else to say lmao
- Williams cuz It's just so cool compared to their usual liveries even tho it's just a test livery for now
we either cooked or we are cooked
im leaning towards number 2
Let me soothe the pain. This was a planned stop after laps to minimise how much cooldown running they did. The teams get a small number of Installation running allocation and Ferrari don't want to waste anything on a cool down lap
So far my top livery is Haas...
Awesome you're back
I did another race while your internet was out
another generation where the ferrari PU is by far the worst sounding one
F1 legend Michael Schumacher ‘is no longer bed-bound’ years after horror ski crash https://t.co/tdycdjT0g4
come on now
lets go
its so hot man
Ahhhh. That's fair enough
That definitely does ease it a bit for me
Thankfully we should look forward then
Ngl, I'm actually very disappointed
What the fuck happened to the light blue
This is still navy blue
That's nowhere near as light blue as the promotional photos looked
They must have been very edited
Thank god
Very nice. Hope you had fun
the more light there is the more the paint splashes can shine
this is a photo under a grey sky and rain
if you pay attention to the nose of the car (the only area light is falling on in this pic) you can see the blue splashes
That's just not enough man
Paint being conditional to weather is a weak excuse
Suffice to say, I genuinely retract my vote of being excited for a Red Bull
They managed to completely disappoint me
I expected an actual lighter shade of dark blue
Not some weather dependant reflective navy blue nonsense
There's no way I am overreacting either
That is just bait and switch
Sounds very shilling ngl
Defending this nonsense
its a smart technique to reach the minimum amount of paint allowed
This is literally just the 2025/2024/2023/2022/2021/2020 car but in metallic blue instead of matte blue
It's cowardly is what it is
If Alpine can look that shade of blue
Red Bull has no excuse
I guess it'll need to be something like the Vegas race or Singapore for thw car to look nearly as light as it did in the promotional photos
Why did they do this man
I was genuinely excited for a Red Bull for once for fucks sake
My day has truly been ruined
Red Bull did the same livery as every year again idk why anyone was interested, let alone excited
It was because the promotional shots showed an extremely vibrant shade of dark blue
Kind of even like the 2016 Ford GT shade of dark blue
It genuinely looked outstanding
It finally was something different from the hell of dark navy matte blues we've been stuck.with since god knows when
2016
I disagree. It looked like the usual good red bull, with a different shade of blue
2016, goddamn
Outstanding... For me that's overselling it
personally i like it. it'll look amazing at the night races
10 years then
That different shade did alot
I guess I maybe overliked it
But it did look good
Which is a rarity for red bull with how overplayed the livery is
I just feel seriously baited with this paint material nonsense
Oh it looks good. There's no dislike from me for red bull.
But it's just a slightly different colour with a much less interesting finish.
The fact that the car won't look as good as it did for majority of the races it'll take part in
That's just pain
One thing is for sure
The VCARB definitely looks better now
Not by a whole lot
But now I have to find a new livery to call my favourite
I think I'll go with Haas for now
Alpine is my go-to team but while I think the livery is as good as it was back In 2025, its not particularly different
I am curious what Aston will do
Whether if the Honda partnership will have any effect on their colors
Is Honda F1 often associated with any particular color?
I've seen Honda F1 cars and Honda powered ones come in all sort of colors with nothing particularly uniform
mostly white and red
japanese racing colours
remember 2020 and 2025 white red bull? they were honda tribute liveries
and the mid 2000's bar/honda cars before the myearthdreams ones
Thats fair enough
That makes sense
You're right
Though usually whirr and a red circle of some sort
Interesting indeed. I do wonder if we can expect to see some sort of special Japanese homage livery from Aston too then
I mean... maybe even a Jorfan homage?
Given I think for their last years Jordan used Honda Mugen engines
This thing is a classic
Interesting how modern F1 cars look better with more stuff on them
And older ones look better with more basic designs
they might do something for Japan i assume. or have a bit of white on the car maybe
I've seen a couple concepts
I remember it was this thing which came 3rd in constructors too, 2006 I think
That'd be cool. Aston's special liveries barely ever do anything, so it'd be nice to see some freshness
I honestly was kind of upset that their Eddie Jordan tribute was so lackluster
2006, 4th behind Renault, Ferrari and McLaren
Less yellow and more white
Yeah makes sense. There's been a couple designs floating around
Ooooh, fair enough. That was a pretty strong year
https://simonrdesigns.com/2026-aston-martin-honda-f1-concept
this guy's one i liked a lot
I'm sure he did the red bull livery this year too
Really?
yeah he did the red bull and vcarb
Hmm, so they are done by free lancers
last year too
Rather than their own designers
depends, they might be employed by the team
example being Sean Bull, he made concepts for years then got picked up by renault a few years ago
Interesting, that's a pretty good resume
I miss yellow on the grid
Strong looks for sure
Renault was an interesting period
Same. I'm very surprised we have no yellow team at all
Cadillac, please
Your main LMDH team is already yellow
Please let your F1 car be yellow too
2024 must have been a bad time
With 3 fully blue cars on the grid
VCARB, Williams and Red Bull
Can't wait to see the Cadillac livery, the testing look is HIDEOUS
Yeah it's just black with a llgo
I am amazed how secretive Cadillac has been
I've heard they're waiting until a super bowl to reveal it
I assume black is gonna be part of their main color
Given they keep showing nothing but
Cadillac can be the new Jordan of F1
In more ways than one
from the minimap colors that have been revealed, cadillac is being shown as a dark red shade
yes, same day, sunday feb 8
now thats an opinion ive not seen around
Dark red? I wasn't expecting that
Could look quite good if done properly, but we'll have to see. No yellow I guess sadly
A while till it happens then. They might end up being the last team to reveal their livery
@granite tangle it's NOTHING
Camo stripes with no vibes and the stupid overwide badge. Seriously I swear the Cadillac badge wasn't this wide 10 years ago.
I like the idea of the founding members being integrated into the livery but I agree with the rest
I’ve just seen an overwhelming majority of people say they like it
Interesting how some make events for revealing their cars and some just post it online
👀 SC63 RETURN? @LamborghiniSC has received five to six “serious interests” from teams wanting to run the SC63 according to interim motorsport boss Rouven Mohr, who said the inquiries have even included proposed efforts for the @FIAWEC.

Well I can’t imagine serving champagne and celebrating the launch of a 30kg overweight car
@severe spindle to add to the Formula E team complexity, Lola just announced that they're ditching ABT and running the team in-house, so they're going to become a full factory team... And i don't know if they're doing it mid way through the season or not 🤣
Holy crap, that's what Williams is dealing with? Oh no
Wait, really? Jesus it didn't even last a full season lol
I mean I guess Lola wants to get back into racing properly
That and thrice failed the crash test
Expensive 😬
Jesus christ what the hell
What's happened
I thought Williams' period of struggles came to an end
With their success in 2025
And even stopping development early for 2025 to focus on 2026
Yeah they were planning to host a live event for the car and cancelled it a few days ago
Pretty much everyone is aware that they will suck hard
Damn.. I had no idea Williams was having such struggles. That is just terrible
Their 2025 campagin left so much hope
If what you say is true, then we can't expect much from them for first half of 2026
sigh
Williams' comeback story seems like dust in the wind now
Yeah makes you wonder
Oh they're sticking together until the end of this season, it turns out.
Lola's Instagram post was vague, but the news is out today proper.
But yeah, Lola wants to fully come back, running their own team.
James Vowles says it is "incredibly painful" for Williams to miss the Barcelona shakedown, but denies rumours the team's F1 car will be significantly overweight ⬇️
Fair enough, they'll endure the season but then amke their own. It's an interesting scene with Formula E, alot of new teams come and go
man, this is just sad
I really was hoping that Williams would be on good shape after their best season in recent times in 2025
Carlos' future might be slightly problematic now
well yeah he ain't gonna come out and say "yeah our car is about as overweight as an american twitch no lifer"
pfffft
Yellow andretti for Miami this weekend
Red and black it's been for Gen3
Hmm
That makes no sense
Maybe that's why they'll be red and black for Cadillac too as umors have it?
I think Andretti races sometimes with red, but they're not married to it
Was blue for Gen1
I am quite confused with Andretti's lack of identity
Honestly the Andretti name is enough
It's INSANE that it isn't attached to Cadillac F1
Yeah a shame
It is technically at least
The name Andretti is indeed a famous one in many groups of racing
But the fact that they don't really have a visual identity is a shame
Wish it'd load
My dude rented a wholeass Cessna 😭

Poor Fernando is gonna be having PTSD flashbacks
Oh no...
And people said 2026 was Alonso's WDC year
I think we can say that dream bye bye
Might have another GP2 engine period
they say it stopped after 5 laps, the year of gp2 engine, the mclaren stopped in testing after 6 laps
newey has made a very clever design
as everyone has seen on pics of the aston
the problem might just be solely the engine
ironically.. the GP2 McLaren was a similar story..
The aero was great\
And the car had no pace due to engine
Suffice to say, Honda hates Alonso in particular
Why is it that their engines were always peak performance with Red Bull
Aston Martin hit the track in Barcelona and Adrian Newey's AMR26 is revealed for the first time!

We are so not back
Formula E rookie test session is starting. Time to see this course, and it's sub minute lap.
One of the Rookies is Pepe Marti, the full time Kiro driver.
Some classic F2 names, and the first woman are also running. They'll all be paying close attention to Marti as a comparison.
Alpine's WEC Hypercar programme is in real jeopardy beyond the 2026 season.
And so is the famous Viry motorsport base that until recently built Renault's #F1 engines:
Mick Schumacher might have just made an extremely right call to jump ship to indycar
Yeah if this is the case, then I don't blame the guy at all
That is a really shitty situation
Formula E time at some wacky Miami micro circuit
The F2 graduates are fast from quali.
Eriksson, De Vries, Drugivich all at the front
Felipe nearly had pole position. His world champ teammate absolutely nowhere.
SAFETY CAR START!?!? it's literally dry
Buemi spun?
Four laps of safety car then a standing start. Weird
Everyone nearly went wide at T1
That's a rather funny situation they made for themselves
Sounds like race control didn't want them flying along this damp track on cold road car tires
But Formula E doesn't have a system to give drivers a warm up lap
Nah, the road car tires don't NEED the same sort of preparation, but it is super slippy and weird today.
Their is also nearly zero preparation for the powertrains and brakes, compared to F1
HUGE gaps are forming. Really strange.
Dan Ticktum curse continues
Drugivich just murdered someone
Cars are being lapped what a bizarre race
Well, it is an annoyance regardless
Welp in other news Big Lawrence is in the files
His wife too
Had direct emails with Mr jeffrey vacation
What?!
Holy shit dude
Has every rich dude and duette visited that accursed island? The hell man
This car is just so good
I believe I saw a bit of it
They did worse than visit, from the mails they even brought their then 7 year old daughter into that stuff too
When lance was 4 years old
Idk you can hate the guy
But those kids are just victims
tbh they probably told him already
bc if not jumping from wec to indycar is crazy
Thats just unacceptable man..
Being such scum to bring your kids onto this..
It's his only real shot left at gaining fame
Every great thing begins as an idea that refuses to stay quiet.
Before the lights. Before the noise. Before history starts keeping score.
Cadillac Formula 1® Team is here.
And this is only the beginning.

I don't know if it's because the team's colors aren't revealed yet
But it feels like Cadillac is genuinely gonna be just fully blacked out team for 2026
indycar is worse than wec for that matter
We're straight up Minardi-ing it at Caddy
Well it depends
While yes WEC is big
He can only do so much driving for a mid tier team
If he actually starts dominating in Indycar, he'll be able to create some form of legacy
Mick's situation in F1 was just unfortunate
Russian kid in Haas go brrr
Mazepin wasn't even a problem in the grand scheme of things
It's just how he joined the least inviting and compatible team possible for the seasons
the team he signed for in indycar are basically backmarkers
hehe, wrote fire
Might have come a bit under the radar
Since I've not seen anyone react to it
But Williams has revealed their car
I do like it, it's a nice color and design
They've kept the Duracell intake which is nice
And added some more color to their sidepods
The reveal's been out for a day and I am amazed how nobody has reacted to it
I learned about it by accident
all I'm gonna say is, which team mastered lico in 2025?
Not a big fan of the multiple shades of blue
But hopefully I like it more in daylight haha
Like how people fawned over the "new shade of blue" red bull that looks like the same blue as before in all the Barcelona pictures.
McLaren and Andretti had race winning formula E teams, so they surely will have a run on understanding building strategy around energy regeneration.
Also, more scary is the drivers talking about it being harder to follow with the new aero balance
Yeah.. that one I am still salty over
Man if Haas has to deal with LICO, then Ferrari has 2026 in the bag
And let's not forget
Ferrari managed fastest lap and best reliability record on Barcelona on their spec A car
Their Spec B car should, realistically be even better
So not only have the Ferrari drivers had LICO burned into their brains, they also are driving probably the best car of the season
FE drivers would probably do well in 2025 Ferrari then
They've added bigger batteries, and removed a portion of the regen capacity of the cars, while tripling motor power. Nailing the hybrid driving style was always likely to become the defining factor of pace in these cars.
Every new F1 regs era should aim to create or alter something quite major about how to drag pace out the cars, to keep the engineering teams agile. It was fuel in the 2000s, tires through the 2010s, and now itll be regen maximisation.
Probably, but I can't see much else being done compared to those
What do you mean by that? I don't quote understand the way you worded it
I mean that tires and fuel wre massive things to change which took alot of doing to be able to optimize
And like you said, fuel and battery maximization is likely the next step
However, that isn't as big of a jump considering we've already had that going for as long as we've had tires going
And if you ask me, no real benefit comes from having F1 connected to supposedly dripping down tech to road cars
Given clearly modern F1 cars are nobody's cup of tea
Nor is modern F1 racing
But alas, that's just a small side bar
F1 is a constantly changing sport
Things go away and come baxck at some point
So we'll definitely see some things return, like in-race refueling, more engine changes, more tires, bigger engines if the teams demand for it
The ground effect had already been a thing way back then before it made a return
Whilst I do agree that F1 is an ever changing sport, I don't think every change can be categorized as an evolution per say, given sometimes those evolutions come in the form of maximixation of older ideas but with modern adapatations
Battery optimisation is useful for road cars. SOMEONE in sport should really make batteries a competitive element, to get more people involved.
We already have maximized certain things, so soemtimes to move further along, we need to mix newer ideas with older ones to get something even better
I don't want to write this era of F1 off as worthless before we see it running... But it really could flop
Nah it's already been done on road cars enough as it is
It could, it absolutely could flop
Because let's be real, we have worse driving cars, which aren't even that much smaller
And even more reliance on already unreliable MGU units
And teams always get around these problems by reverting back in cheating forms anyway
The idea of ground effect cars was hardly a success until 2025 where the cars barely looked like their 2022 selves where the original idea came from
Same goes for 2026, as several drivers already stated disdain for driving those cars
If you ask me, F1's direction needs a change
In the current manner that it is going, it's just gonna bleed itself dry
Most of F1's evolutions since 2014 have rarely been met with positivity
and I think that'll be a recurring theme as we go along
But alas, not like we have any real power to influence it
Wwe're watching multi billion dollar cooperations duke it out on circuit
Ground effect feels like it hasn't succeeded so well
But, attack mode, bigger batteries, Extreme energy use concerns for ideal long term pace are all things that could keep the action happening
I don't think it'll work for most watchers of F1
Formula E and Formula 1 aren't for the same people I believe
Formula E is far more gimmick based
And is structured like a racing game than a raw racing series
No, but if it's mild when compared to FE, we will still see people having a difference in straight line performance
And then you'll see people spending to pass, having to regen a little later
It might even be more likely to be defended against that DRS passes
I mean it's already used for that, so maybe
Yes but so often DRS passes are so easy that the driver ahead doesn't try to defend
I guess you're right, on my attempts they wouldn't defend
So as to not waste ERS and fuel
DRS was very unstoppable sometimes, and the attack mode will come out of the normal battery (probably) so theres might be more to gain by blocking it
That's true, might waste more energy and be less reason to use it
But someone lifting ahead of you... That's like crack cocaine to a racing driver. It's irresistible
Hehe
For sure
Part of racing is the patience game
Sometimes it is hard to play
If I have it correct only Graham Hill has won the Triple Crown so far
Man if only it can happen
And yeah only him holds that crown for now
Alos, seeems like lego speed champion F1 sets are back
And lego not doing metallic sets really doesn't do this guy any favors
An already bland looking car looks even blander
Oh yeah I've known about that for a while
Let me help
Yooo
That's what I like to see
That was some good switchback
Didn't lose his momentum too much
Had better exit into the next turn too
Probably used ERS, attack mode as it is called in Formula E, but that was really good
Oh, they were both in attack mode. Mitch Evans is just like that
Really? Both in attack mode? Even more impressive
Yeah, Porsche was struggling for performance in the damp track but Jaguar just nailed it.
Wonder what difference in strategy and driver skill sets they had
It seemed to ALL be about tire pressures.
So Jaguar had a slightly lower pressure to be able to get more grip?
There was some weirdness about getting it right, the weather changed quite close to the race start.
Da Costa was going well too, until he got obliterated
That's quite cool honestly
That made it a very hard to predict and enjoyable race
They just put the whole replay up on their site if you want to see the weirdest race in a while
Maybe at some point
I was reading up on F1 drivers of the 90s and 2000s, and Olivier Panis was an unfortunate one
He was a great driver, great raw pace, great consistency, and had the chance to really show himself up as perhaps the 2nd coming of Prost even
But a shame thta his incident which fractured his legs essentially meant that he'd never be able to replicate his race winning performance again
Honestly modern F1 drivers are so lucky compared to the old days
Where you could come into F1, into an absolute dog crap team, and never get another chance for another season
In modern day, a driver has to be absolutely hopeless, or for the team to be unbelievably unforgiving, to leave the scene entirely in just one season
If the no pointer no hoper Logan Sargent could stay in F1 for two seasons, then It's really a sign of improvements really for the crappy years old amazing drivers like Luca Badoer, Jean Alessi and Olivier Panis had to endure
Panis cupcake
Speaking of which mini nima
Olivier Panis is gonna be in my 1996 series in GT7
And my 2003 one which I'll post about shortly
Hell yeah
He should indeed be there
1996 he was with Ligier
I like Ligier
With the 2003 one I finally started doing correct engines
I like how you use these recreations to essentially learn the grid of every one of these years
Now all GT needs is a 2000s style car to be able to replicate late 90s to early 2000s
Every one of the cars has a V10 swap from the Renault Espace
I am so glad they can get that engine swap
Anyways I'm racing at Spa in the 1993 season
Then it's on to Brazil
For the last race
Hell yeah
WHITE?????
It’s fucking hot but
It’s not anything anyone expected 😭
Jim Beam sponsor??
In the big 26??
2003 season progress
This time with actual V10s
I just love how perfectly this car captures this era of racing, and the general styling just allowing for so many cool photos with the abundance of modern F1 tracks in GT7
Always so cool
Definitely not...
I mean we always say "welcome back Force india" the moment any pink car enters the grid
Should we say "welcome back Alphatuari" to this?
I kinda hope this isn't the final look
It's only a bit less dull than the Audi look
What's with 2026 new comer teams and an allergy to some more thorough designs
The golden age
God these names make me wanna play F1 challenge 99
nah i dont agree with this
the caddy livery is some sort of creative, even if the colors are not
its a split livery
we've not seen anything like that for a long ass time
Oooooh
You're not wrong
Last example I remember was 99 BAR
officially it should be BAR yes
i think it looks good personally
its a bit strange to assosiate cadillac with white black
but other than that i think its overall a good look
It's definitely creative
Even if rhe colors are rather basic
I do hope for them to add one more accent color to the whole mix
Cause I really don't think a white and black car will do anything to sell the idea of marketing for Cadillac
It's not a bad look
But it does feel like it leaves something to be desired
its not out of the question
Here's hoping it evolves indeed
The audi livery definitely will get a couple more sponsors before release
So this will likely as well
I was hoping (coping) the Audi would get some yellow since we have a sore lack of that now
Same for the Cadillac
I surely expected Cadillac to have yellow
Given that's the color their LMH car is known for
Yellow is a color sorely missing in current F1 grid
And never really made a return since Jordan left the grid
We did have the Renaults from 2015-2020
Bruh I'm a moron lol
But then they switched to Alpine
Renault up to 2020 yeah
The DP world sponsorship and the Renault sport association
the problem with cadillac is
cadillac in IMSA and WEC isnt yellow because of cadillac
its yellow because its Hertz
I frankly would have expected that to follow into F1 somewhat as well
I didn't mean like that
I meant a comination of all the colors in the Cadillac logo
Silver
Black
Blue
Red
And yellow
It's mot even the Andretti colors either
sponsoring is expensive, WEC is in its peak years, theyll wait to see if the caddy f1 project is anything to care about and then throw money on that
Honestly I think this can just be described as return of Alphatuari
i think AT was a good look so i personally dont find this as a negative
Not wrong about that
It's indeed an expensive venture to keep sponsoring into different series, espiecally when it's completely unproven ground for them in F1
the audi livery i trully dislike though
Glad we share that sentiment however
The audi livery just leaves so much to be desired
it wasnt even the colors like
I think it's the first modern F1 livery where ir genuinely feels like a F1 game my team livery
I love silver and the colors too, but like you said, barely a design
Exactly
Remember Lewis Hamilton's championship winning Vodafone McLaren?
Audi should.have gone bigger or gone home
Hell
They should have just evolved their announcement 2025 livery
That was genuinely worth something
Bold, interesting and memorable
hard to forget it
imho last time mclaren looked good (in a non special livery)
And if 2026 season they don't do something interesting, they'll become as forgotten as they look
It says allt when they have 3 colors and they're this bland
And something like the Prost AP02 had a single main color and looked a damn sight more interesting
This is why I was hoping Mercedes would pick up Hulkenberg instead
At the risk of sounding like that Potential Man meme I dare say Hulk could've been a championship contender in that Mercedes
i dont think he would succeed at contending
not against lewis no
first of all lewis is an exceptional driver
He'd likely only do it if he was no.1 driver and no.2 mercedes driver wasn't as good
No I mean
but he also was heavily favored at mercedes
After Lewis Hamilton left
He's as good as valterri, but bottas never contended for champion either
Nah the writing was already on the wall
cars were not there to contend anything
george russel currently is a top tier driver
I'll be leaving, take care for now
I'll return
take care
hello again, sadly nobody is here this time
I am here three hours later
Hellooo
cheek kiss to greet
How are you
I have a bad cold so I am doing component coursework in bed.
How are you?
Are you excited because it is Race Week?
Thank you for asking
Finally feeling a bit relieved thanks to the finals being over
I can't watch or follow these races really so there's not really much chance for me to be able to follow now either.. man I'm embarrassing
F1 is similar for me, I have to hunt down pirate server websites to stream them, it's very sketchy
Yeaaaaah, I really hate that
I wish there was a reliable way to watch F1 live
But I just can't have access to that
My favourite site went down over the winter, so idk what I'll find
I have no idea either ngl
I guess I'll see what you guys can find
Since some old websites might still work
I will share the good ones with you
dont u worry guys
im on the same boat as you
i limit tested the anti piracy measures the country has taken and my conclusion was they aint doing shit
so im back to sailing too
DM me some sailing tips when the F1 season starts if you can.
F1 gods really do be greedy for us to have to watch them through Sky sports or something
You know what really grinds my gears?
Older F1 seasons rarely get a half decent representation in F1 game format
Which means if I like a particular car from a particular year before 2010, since that's when F1 games became consistent with quality, I don't really have much hope
Most older games are old for a reason, and often difficult if not impossible to run on modern software, not to mention they're often bad to play too due to their age
Like I genuinely don't think I've seen a worse handling game than F1 Challenge 99-02
So you're often stuffed if you want a particular thing
Either get lucky with an old game which still runs decently on modern systems and looks half decent for modern times, be lucky enough for that car to have made it into newer games as a classic car, like in F1 2020 with the Jordan and Benetton and such
Or find some mod of them in GTR 2 or Assetto Corsa or rFactor or something, and pray to god you can run those games and mods in the first place
I guess this is why I need to learn modding to be able to do these things for myself on easier modding platforms where cars don't handle terribly
Like I just wanna find a half decent game to drive the Prost AP02 around
One thing I've noticed, the older I grow, the more specific I become with what I want
you could try to find mods for Assetto corsa. your hardware definitely runs it
and theres a decently sized community for F1 related mods
i know i have a track pack of old F1 layouts like old hockenheim
so i imagine theres bound to be plenty f1 car mods
Wlel that's part of an issue
You see, AC is an overbloated game, and If I want mods to have no chance of not working, I'd need to get al the DLC as well
So we're already off to a bad start with an unoptimized bloated game
And more often than not, the particular F1 car I want doens't have a free mod for it
i dont think it is, you can run the mods compressed and not lose out on quality
my 200gb mod folder has been compressed to like 70
My guy
pirate it from kemono
I have like 70 GB total space left
people rip patreon mods all the time
Really they're usually there?
I am fairly certain AC is too big with its DLCs anyway
DLCs dont take too much, the base game is like 20gigs?
20?
its mostly us being irresponsible with like 1000+ mods
I mean even if DLC adds another 10, smaller than I expected
Another issue would be that I don't have a wheel
And from what I hear AC Controler support is pretty bad
its about 35 with everything actually, thats my bad
And cars don't drive properly or something
yeah its quite dreadful
And it's worse that no mod can fix it
With a game whcih doesn't really do controller any justice, and F1 cars which generally already drive terribly in their own franchise with a controller
i think there is one
it just doesn't seem like a wise idea
Like honestly, why are F1 cars made so unbelievably hard to drive
Hmm.. not sure if I should get AC however..
I guess one advantage of AC is that I can get rid of all the base game cars and such
So as to free up the space the game takes
ngl I just wish there was an easy to work with simcade sort of game for F1 cars..
Why we can't have easy to drive Race cars in games..
mclaren launch is live
is it orange?
ahem, papaya ackshually
i hate hearing that
reigning world champion lando norris

God I hope the pre-season testings don't end up accurate for some teams
because if Aston is even 1% like what the Barcelona shoot out was, we are literally getting a second set of GP2 years for Alonso
We have to get to actual testing first haha
I swear if Honda engines turn out bad again for Aston Martin, we'll know that Honda just has it out for Alonso
How can those engines be good every single time he's not close to them
Watch our 2026 McLaren Mastercard Formula 1® Team Launch live on Monday, 9 February at 15:00 GMT, broadcast from the Bahrain International Circuit. See Zak ...
Wild take, I think it's just gonna be the 2025 livery with more prominent Mastercard badging
oh for fucks sake it's fat brown I'm turning this stream off
Might just be my ears, but I feel like his accent is slowly turning british with how long he's been exposed to an almost entirely British staff at McLaren
I am interested if McLaren is gonna have any similar level of run of form in 2026 as they did from 2023 to 2025
I'd argue McLaren aero design team is as good as Adrian Newey
they're not looking as strong as mercedes or Ferrari (hopium)
but Ferrari during that catalunya test seemed solid
even the drivers were a lot more upbeat
From what I read, they're taking it easy for the first couple of races, not really stressing to have the fastest car off the bat
although it can't be as bad as 2025
Unlike Ferrari who is making 2 entire cars just to make sure they're competitive for 2026
Yeah It seems like Ferrari's gonna be pretty good this season hopefully
I don't think pre-season testings for the SF-25 were as solid
Oh it's happening!
my day was ruined as soon as fat brown appeared
Who wants to watch these videos
idk, sponsors maybe
can your lot just employ Christian Horner to fight him?
alpine is going to
yeah but alpine is gonna be nowhere near him
oh for god's sake
can we skip to the car
still not as bad as phatty
I'm hoping mclaren perform as good as the last mastercard team did in f1
exactly
2 races
and left
anyway here we go
and it's the same as last year
fuckin brilliant
makes sense
they've just done the Ferrari stripe
Do send a picture
they haven't dropped the pics yet on insta anyway
Same request
It's... marginally different I guess
Doesn't look bad, but doesn't really look outstanding either
I mean I guess I was right that it'd have more prominent Mastercard logos
AMR tiktoks are unironically rather cool
Hehehe
Alonso is quite able to adapt
Not only to race cars
but also media trends
He never likes doing media stuff however
he's been in F1 so long, he's way too known to care
Like the instances in 2025 grill the grid where he was just like "What..."
nothing can beat Kimi
hahaha
Literally can't beat him indeed
God I love Kimi's attitude
What's funniest about his attitude is his voice
he manages to sound both deep and high pitched at the same time
Energetic and can't be bothered at the same time
No Fin driver in F1 history had an accent as amazing as his
We;ve broken the timeline
Oh it's the same
