That Chief among which being Alpine

That Toto will give Kimi to Alpine, until he can secure Max' seat

It wasn't even a particular issue because most knew they never had a chance at a title

But margins are alot closeer now

Theoretically, the worst team of now still has a chance to win a title or even races

So you can't just randomly move around

Just find whatever seat is available

F1 is a brutal sport

Any sport's top level is brutal, but with how small the room for any new F1 driver is, it's hard to even say whether if it is even possible to see new faces in F1

2025 was a big moment with how many new faces came in at once

Last time that happened was 2019 and then it was only 3 new rookies

You can theoretically be a great driver and still never get the chance at a seat
And even if you do, it's likely a mid-tier or a backmarker team which will either help you catch attention of bigger players or ruin your career permanently

Almost all of the top teams' drivers were chosen long before they actually came into the team

So you have to be above exceptional to truly turn heads

they gave him years to grow, toto has been greatly critical of kimi from even the start of the season

Safe to say, Alonso gets very frustrated

And yeah it was fully justified

Aston this season were only clowning a bit less than Ferrari

It wasn't always their fault directly, but Alonso's luck this season was on a new level of low

But let's be real, it isn't always their fault that they fail either

Their opponents since 2007 have grown immensely strong as well

drivers like Alonso and Vettel could push the car extremely far, but their opponents were not sitting around with their thumb in their ass waiting for Ferrari to improve either

It's always easy to call it Ferrari's failure for not having been at that peak that they were defined by for a period

But I frankly feel it is more appropriate to call it others' success that they can stay ahead so consistently

Though I will say, 2025 was definitely a year where Ferrari fell short of their own expectations, given 2024
