I don't understand why the website doesn't work
it worked perfectly well last race
i do hope that haas contest that penalty
He loves doing that
my favorite married couple are chummy again ❤️
god i miss rocky
LET LANDO PASS? HELL NO
HE LET HIM THROUGH
nah this team
i hope their HQ burns to the ground
McLaren on some bullshit
snack brown needs to stop eating and realize his golden boy is not winning the ship
Phat Brown and Andrea Sterrorist need to stfu and let them race
this is pure 2023 Verstappen
and thats why im loving it
So comfy he can just have a bit of banter
in one of my favorite tracks too
hes given up on it
i mean hes on a lap older tires, and they asked him to swap after lando got his up to speed
its just
blatant favoritism innit
The golden boy
damn Hamilton couldn't catch russell
Good recovery yeah
What a boring Momza
decent enough
I've got to put up with crofty and brundle
It's so rough
really rough
Guy started P10, no?
How long till Hadjar gets "promoted"
Yeah
Next season probably
Mekies on radio !!!
Or maybe a few end races of this
before getting dropped 2 races afterwards cause he wasn't right up verstappens arse
so weird listening to a french voice for redbull
Still annoyed at that penalty for bearman
Yeah wearechecking ain't working today, I ain't able to watch the race
Pretty much
aura farming in P4/6
Thats my team
It's probably the most varied team we've had with drivers of all nationalities
Alex Albon still putting Sainz to shame
I think Sainz may get dropped for 2026
nah, sainz has a contract
and is their marquee signing
they won't drop him after 1 season
With a performance like this, not sure how much a contract will hold
toto is drooling at the thought of maxcedes speaking of performance
nobody available really to replace him either
he might be in the bathroom having a moment with himself with the onboard
Franco probably lol
sainz at his worst is 10 trillion times better than franco at his best
The 2025 perofmrnace has been horrendous however
their next in line is Luke Browning but he won't have the super license points i think
Not any points finish
Regardless, this is a confusing situation with Williams
Albon was never this fast
ok can Ferrari keep this livery for the rest of the season now
And yet soon as Sainz comes in, he starts being rapid
I hope so, way better than their standard livery
Don't think so, only on rare occasions
he is one of the most passionate
colorful personalities
in the entire world of f1
i wish he could have him every week but him being in a good bit of the european GPs is good enough
Danica Patrick is on sky? I don't think I've heard her this weekend

select races, again not full time
hes so good with the drivers man he made norris that hasnt said a word in 10 laps smile
piastri is kind of an italian name so the tifosi will probably accept him
P4 btw
props to the fans if anything
i reckon the mclaren team got that test emergency notification and got distracted during landos stop
holy fuck man
thats why this track is special
THEYRE BOOING NORRIS?
hahaha theyre singing it
max has been well accepted in italy now
Whether they like it or not
Super Saturday… SENSATIONAL SUNDAY!
︀︀
︀︀Max wins for the third time at Monza 👏
︀︀
︀︀#F1 || #ItalianGP 🇮🇹
why's your team aura farming mario
does he not deserve it
a deserved aura farm tbh
putting 20 seconds on prime stalin
Its italy, lando is basically Benito Norrisini
It's kind of funny seeing people root for Max to win
Given we used to hate him winning
I still do
@pale tinsel https://x.com/hmiltonwdc/status/1964642351068103020
Pffft
Ferrari's race wasn't the worst it could have been
But this race overall was quite boring
Don Fernando Alonso getting all of the bad luck out now before his 2026 title
#CR33MOS
https://t.co/tQadUNZBjp
Hell, why did Lando even get P2, Piastri was P2 for majority of the race
before the 2026 title huh? Man, imagine
norris was P2 for 80% of the race
had a slow stop
Will say, if he does get a title, it'll be a record for I think the oldest F1 champion
Tom: "Oscar, this is a bit like Hungary last. We pitted in this order for team reasons. Please let Lando pass and then you're free to race."
Oscar: "I mean... we said that a slow pit stop was part of racing, so I don't really get what changed here. But I'll do it."
#ItalianGP
Ah okay, I had misunderstood
oscar was right here
Why though?
I'm telling you man, mark Webber needs to start swinging at fat brown
because lando is clearly the owners favorite
#1373356149361086514 message
I mean sure, him getting 2nd over 3rd wouldn't make any difference in his point deficet to Piastri
But it was odd thing to do
Didn't make much logical sense
+3 points for norris
If Piastri overtook, he should have stayed there
Hardly a difference
Regardless, I doubt oscar cares
He's still well on his way to win
And he will win singapore
Norris did just open the gap after Oscar let him past.
Mclaren have it wrapped up teams wise, they don't want something outside of their drivers control to affect which of the two of them wins
iirc they can wrap up constructors championship literally next race
Wouldn't shock me. Ferrari is the only other fast car with two drivers contributing
and oscar was widening his to 2 seconds before they asked them to swap
come on now lets not kid ourselves its not like norris had to pull a godly drive to stay ahead
dirty air alone is enough to keep you there in an equal car
I thought Oscar would have something to attack lando with
its hard
oscar was pushing, and was suddenly asked to swap the moment lando turned the softs on
Damn, Stroll was 9th when I tuned in, he finished last
Not been a good race for Aston Martin this one
According to that take... Oscar should have also retired in Zandvoort. Crazy.
#ItalianGP
Scott Mansell, any relation to Mustache Mansell?
ok last one now
https://x.com/The_James_007/status/1964711077754912948 @pale tinsel sabotage bro
@_dollydaydreamx How many times has the front left guy “messed up” Lando’s pit stops this season? At some point it’s not just an accident anymore.
#1373356149361086514 message
i saw
it is what it is
id rather see mekies
but they didnt
Mekies or Hannah even
hannah wasnt on site today afaik
Who's gonna tell wack brown that +3 points for Lando isn't gonna hurt Oscar's chances of winning the championship
Bruh
That was a different scenario entirely Zak
But at this point it is what it is
👀
@granite tangle
not falling for MB
Can't even say "That's just racing"
but its fucking funny
They're actively being forced into sabotage
no but someone is
as per
ahahaha
I am stupid, I am stupid...
you'll catch them one day dw about it
I have caught them like twice
But I still fell for this one like a complete amatuer
Shows how stupid McLaren have gotten if thats believable lets be real
somehow people dont fall for the good ones
but they fall for the absurd ones
XD
Yeah honestly it seems like something perfectly expected from Zak and Mclaren
i mean
this is NOT motorsport bollocks
like every week
being george russel gets worse
Toto is more demented than Flavio
McLaren do not pit the drivers against each other when you're ahead in the WCC challenge (impossible)
it's not aboiut being correct
no no no, you don't understand how much of a nutcase big flav is
It's about thinking what you say
oh hes thinking
Maybe so, but Toto certainly is playing catch up
Toto Wolff be jacking off to Max tonight istg
that him saying that puts mercedes in max's (or rather his management's) good graces
but at the same time he's completely sacrificing his drivers' confidence over a gamble
He's a complete moron
he's not thinking about his team
he's thinking about a future that's unlikely to happen
the day toto forces one of his drivers to crash by threatening to sack him all so he can have his other driver with the race, only to sack the driver that crashed a year later anyway, then he'll be close to big flav
Geroge is out there getting podiums and wins and yet this is what his boss says
He's doing it in a shitty car no less
2025 Mercedes has reached an exceptional level of shittiness
And yet look at him
He's already seemingly playing such a game
bottas bowling
⁉️
no that was bottas being bottas
I mean to be fair that's what he kept doing to Bottas and Hamilton, ruining Bottas' chances of a championship over Hamilton's assured victory
He probably thinks Hamilton was his prodigy or something
Forgetting that Hamilton was a Mclaren driver longer than he was a Mercedes driver
I think
Ok when toto gets convicted of fraud and escapes jail by going to the virgin islands, as well as banging a supermodel like heidi klum in the meantime
then he can be close
Be honest?
I am surprised he's not got the interpol after his ass, let alone able to keep the role of a team principal in F1
But yeah, he was a convicted criminal and ditched the eu to live in the virgin islands for years until the convictions were extinguished
Ah Flavio
and he kept working for benetton while in exile and got very wealthy doing it, making loads of franchises for them and getting big cuts
and briefly dated Heidi Klum, had a daughter with her and then decided to not be a part of that daughters life
Big Flav
what a fuckin nutcase
i love him
Jesus christ
Proper prick
He takes all the cake for the worst person in F1 altogether
Convicted criminal no less
Best part? He never had any interest in racing when he started
but Benetton put him in charge of the commercial side of their team, before taking over the full thing and taking a 30% stake
So essentially, we're dealing with a person who has no real F1 interest
1994 Benetton cheating allegations happened under his watch
Has been part of the reason for the upcoming of one of the biggest names in F1 history
And still no real interest
He was an asshole long way back then
I thought alonso had his own stuff going
So even when he's not Alonso's boss
He still has direct ties with him
Unreal man
Can't deny that, that's for sure
Even when he's away, he's still involved
And now he's even directly involved withAlpine
Hoping to find a new Alonso via Alpine's newest rookies
Franco, Doohan, Paul Aron
Who knows, maybe he will eventually
Shitty as a person he may be, he does seem to have an eye for talent
In fairness, Alonso's first full season with Minardi was a bad one too
So who knows, maybe Franco will step up in a decent car
Guess it remains to be seen what 2026 has for him and Alpine
just want to say
still annoyed about this
I mean it makes no real difference
But yeah these last 2 races' penalities are quite bad
eyyy, legend is here
makes a big difference cause now ollies only 2 penalty points away from a ban
We had somebody try to do this to us on the freeway just the other day
One thing I love most about this guy's animations is how the voices sound so uncanny and realistic
Like I genuinely cannot unhear the actual people's voices
Sloppy stops are something that are gonna be a meme from now on
first set was last year, crashing with colapinto in brazil - 2
then another in fp2 monaco for overtaking under red flags - 2
another lot during the british fp3, crashed in the pitlane under red flags - 4
and now for the "crash" with sainz - 2
which puts him at 10
12 for a ban
he's gotta keep it clean until november 2nd when the brazil gp penalty points get wiped
so honestly most likely bearmans getting a race ban unless and i hope haas appeal this one
Well shit, man's more crash prone than I had thought
Wouldn't even think of him doing this, given he's sucha sweet guy off the track
Bearman's a decent driver, but he still is a rookie no doubt
Ironic how he's the number 2 driver for Haas, whose number 1 driver was even more crash prone xd
It kind of reminds me of when Renault paired Grosjean and Maldonado
Haas is the spirit of Renault revived
Pairing two famously crash prone but also quick drivers
It’s easy to blame Mercedes for failing to handle Hamilton and Rosberg falling out, but they actually gave us a masterclass in how to handle two teammates fighting for a title.
︀︀
︀︀For 3 years, they had a written set of rules which both drivers had to follow - no questions asked.
︀︀
︀︀No deliberation, no grey areas - straight to the point.
︀︀
︀︀McLaren in 2025 are giving far too much leeway to their drivers to make decisions and it leads them to be in these positions time and time again.

🗣️ Helmut Marko: "[Baku] is a fast track so I'm very positive about that. I also have hope for Singapore. With this spirit anything is possible. Max is so motivated as well, I haven't seen that in a long time. He's not talking about racing GT cars any more either."
"as long as there's delusion, there's hope"
in a cayman GT4, hey i cant complain
Ngl he'll do well in that
he did well in the ferrari GT3
i think its no quincidence he's choosing the MR cars
Has Max ever professional races something that is front engined?
no never i think
Where does he place his PC?
when he sim races, if his pc is in front of him its technically front engined
Unc behavior
Ferrari have turned him into a boomer unc
hes entering the beloved soon to retire uncle arc alongside alonso
Well damn
seen and coped
Ngl, I dislike Max as much as I dislike Mclaren
so I wouldn't want either of them winning

quite fitting xd
sadly he cant put that on the car again
cant race under an alias unless youre lance strulovich i guess
Maxel Verstappensell
Does ferrari ever actually have good news
for the past 3 years no not really
Feels like they're cursed or something
Is this because they got rid of Kimi back in 2007 after he won their last WDC?
It feels like he's left a curse with them since
Speaking of needing new haters @pale tinsel
https://vxtwitter.com/scuderiafemboy/status/1965512450113241550?s=46
nico about max’s GT3 lap record at nurburgring: “ofcourse he can do the lap record: he's the most talented racecar driver in the whole world! it doesn't matter what car he gets into, he will drive faster than anybody else in the world.”
Like rosberg has not liked verstappen from like his debut season
He also used to take lowkey digs at him every chance he got
I am legit surprised he’d say this factual or not
It's easy to not be that way anymore when you're not in the acne anymore
(I still love Nico and I think it’s funny that he hates max)
After all he was legitimately scared of the mad max rookie and how he used to drive back then
I think every driver kind of hates max
Espiecally those who were around his initial years
He was like a worse Vettel with how aggressive he drove
He was too hot headed and too careless during then
He's matured alot since
Espiecally in.the personality department
Young Max was more insufferable than Lando
Your comparison doesn’t exactly make sense. Max was/is an overly aggressive driver and he got massive flack for it
What he got as a rookie is kinda similar to Antonelli if anything
(Don’t even look what his own countrymen were commenting on his posts after he crashed our Charles)
And the comparison makes even more sense since both of them skipped F2 entirely because F1 team principals were willing to take the gamble
There's no argument that you're making
Max was an insufferable personality
Everyone disliked his overly aggressive driving
I don't know why you're talking back on facts
The second is a fact the first is your opinion lol
Only reason Nico says what he says is because he's not actively part of the sport anymore
Not an opinion, its fact
Many of his interviews were hollower than Stroll's
True and that’s why Nico is fine with Hamilton but Hamilton isn’t fine with Nico xd
Its nothing new, it's how every upcoming talent in F1 acts
This is what happens when you're not mature enough to separate competition and friendship
That whole thing was so stupid
Max from his second year (latter half) onwards alongside Daniel were from the fan favorite duos
While still being heavily disliked on-track
Like I said, didn't stay that way
Also rosberg ofc sees it differently because he got the championship and dipped
While Hamilton never even managed to compete for his get back
They were both pretty stupid for that
Also Hamilton felt (not necessarily the truth) that everyone was against him in 2016
But hey, it was never said these racers are shining examples of personalty
Why did he feel that way
When they crashed in Barcelona
Niki Lauda said it was Lewis’ fault in that occasion
And Lewis was very bothered by that
I remember that
Also Rosberg from memory pulled a very sneaky accident in Monaco didn’t he
In quali
So he felt like his team wasn't favoring him?
Rosberg that season wanted it more than anyone he didn’t stop at anything
So he was cheating but also being in the rules
He was being unsportsman is the word
The team just told them let them race when Lewis wanted to get team orders
This is something I never understand with winning teams In F1
So they tripped each other in every single occasion
Why do you even have 2 drivers if you're the winning team
Far from perfect management but also much better than McLaren 2025
Cause rhat way you're just getting in your own way
Way I see it, winning team should always have one driver removed
Well i would argue Rosberg was never supposed to be a second number 1 driver
They just happened to be that dominant that he had a chance
Mercedes were still a bit in their infancy years
Rosberg was playing second driver to a retired Schumacher and couldn’t wait for him to leave, then boom Lewis signs
If you’re Nico you’re dying to prove you’re better than that guy
Yeah honestly that was a stupid move
No the Schumacher signing was the best move Mercedes did
2nd driver should be promoted to first when the 1st driver retires
So don't hire Lewis Hamilton when your number 2 driver is still there
Signing Lewis proved massively beneficial for them too, everyone knows he was and is better than rosberg
These teams don't actually have an interest in their drivers
Just hiring whatever driver seems good
Without any consideration of what it'd do
That’s like saying Tsunoda should be the rebull star if Max leaves when redbull have a chance to sign a much more proved and experienced Leclerc or Russel
It’s business and winning brings sponsors and sponsors bring money
Ofc they don’t care about their drivers, only after they win then they do ofc, until they stop winning XD
Of course that's what they should
It's a sport
You're supposed to give the sportsman a chance
Not sabotage them Again
Scum run this sport that's what's happening
I am.not gonna get mad over this
It’s the same in every sport
It's just what happens
Real Madrid have built a legacy on buying players developed by other clubs
Incorrect
It's the same in the high league of every sport
Well isn’t the pinnacle the best a sport gets
Hobbyists get a fair chance, but it ain’t any fun watching them, I’d rather go do it myself
Only superficially
Regardless, modern F1 has nothing to do with skill anyway
Fastest car is rhe champion winner, that's it
Actually I am being emotional, ignore what I say right now
the alpine part got me
It would be nice if this championship was decided by the actual contenders rather than uncontrollable bullshit. What a joke
who's gonna tell him 5 years later
Seen but source is untrustworthy
extremely
Hahaha
That'd be quite unusual
What's the matter?
"the power of dreams" is honda's motto
this helmet went over to honda after suzuka
its a thank you for 4WDC and 2WCC
Ooooh
Fair enough
That makes sense
I didn't knkw

huh. they only just signed with mercedes too
free hype (new team) plus probably significantly cheaper to sponsor
also german
so
win win win?
true true
TO be fair these sponsors sometimes sponsor 2 or 3 teams at once
Like Monster energy drink being on both mclaren and Mercedes' race suits

2027 is our year?
Ferrari in 2025 has reached a new low it would seem
Probably not at this point
I didn't take much issue with what Mclaren did in Monza, but then someone mentioned something and it hit me
Why did they not swap positions in Silverstone then?
Oscar's penalty was justified, what he did was incredibly stupid
But if they wanna be "fair" then they should have favored Oscar that time as well due to his fuck up
@pale tinsel you think i can apply XD
cant do none of that
but what i could do
is apply for an undergraduate IT or other computer science related programme
"but if they wanna be fair" asked and answered
hey man, I'd love to have an F1 related job interenship
they want lando norris on top they don't give a fuck about what's fair
man if that isn't true
Yeah they're massive hypocrites
Time to finally watch the F1 movie
Lets go
Thus far, actually really good
I will admit, I am not that great of a critic with movies, but this one is winning me over thus far
To this day it’s impossible to explain how we’ve gone from this to…the rest of 2025.
Quoting Lewis Hamilton (@LewisHamilton)
︀
YUP
China sprint was peak
now it's all downhill
Which is ironic given that same race he was disqualified
So I'm done watching the F1 movie
Final verdict? A solid 7.5/10
Nothing particularly amazing, very cliche
But Not a bad watch whatsoever
If you're not into F1, you will be after watching this
This movie does not come close to Rush or Ford V Ferrari
people hate on it too much
its meant to be an action enjoyment chill watch flick
not a true story
not a realistic drama
its outlandish and out there
but it has its purpose for sure
I will say, even for an Aston enjoyment chill watch flick
it actually had a decent bit of thought put into it
The only aspect I didn't enjoy was why they just wouldn't settle for a podium
And HAD to get a 1st
Had to ruin many chances due to it
thats where you just sigh and say "well its hollywood"
Yeah I think that's the point
Despite all the clear thought that was put into it
It's still hollywood
The stakes still have to be 110%
exactly
"slow and steady wins the race" is a format that's how every F1 team operates
But in the hollywood eyes, it just wouldn't fly
the only racing movie that came out and i genuinely dislike enough to not even be able to watch it
is the Gran Turismo movie
they took a true story, cranked everything to 400% and made it completely cringeworthy
Yeah I don't have any interest in watching that movie
THey can call it whatever they want, they can claim whatever they claim
But nothing about "GT e-sports" has anyhting to do with GranTurismo
And like you said, they just stretched the story too far
ignored the existence of an already existing GT winner
Just to shed light on some DEI shit which wasn't even DEI when it happened
I saw a few of the clips too
The racing looks sooooooo CGI
Playing a race in GT7 would look more realistic than the racing scenes in that movie
F1 movie definitely didn't go that far
nah the real guy exists, its a pretty good story in itself, so fuck DEI
but
it suffers from
that's my problem
terrible on track action
the real guy exists
so why did they still make it DEI nonsense
This isn't some martin king luther story either
yet they still had to send a message that was never there
also apart from the main straight in lemans every other "track" they raced on was filmed in the hungaroring, INCLUDING the lemans bits (apart from the straight)
That's rather silly
and you can tell
Yeah it'd become super obvious after a while
if someone told you the majority of RUSH was filmed in brands hatch you wouldnt believe them cause its actual good cinematography holding things together
Really? most of RUSH was filmed in Brand's hatch? I never knew at all
Rush had some proper soul put into its production
And it still shows
also, the CG bits were not done well enough, and the whole omg gamer takes the wrong line and somehow is faster than every single guy there doing it for years
just to pass some silly "drive your own line" message
is completely and utterly cringeworthy
the dialog is also bad
and yeah
film is a mess
I've seen some clips of it indeed, it does not interest me whatsoever
i remember you saying you didnt care too much about watching it, but i guess you did and im glad you liked it
Yeah I did, during the time when internet was down due to the war
I watched rush in full, and my god
It's not only the best racing movie i've ever seen
it's outright one of the best movies I've ever seen
yeah that and ford v ferrari are my absolute favorites
THe acting, the scenery, the literal smudge and dirtiness that was unlike the squeaky clean nature of most hollywood films?
None of these characters were "desirable"
THey all looked ugly and realistic
This movie was as if it was reality itself
bruhl did an absolutely amazing job at portraying lauda, down to the tiniest details in his accent
you could watch niki speak and bruhl in the movie with your eyes closed and you couldnt tell
Ford V Ferrari is a fantastic story of real life retold in a fantastuc manner to bring light onto the reality of marketinga nd brand recognition
AND also tell a racing story
For all its shortcomings, it never felt like the movie was taking me for a fool. Ken Miles wasn't magically a better driver
Yeah honestly if you'd ask Lauda himself, he'd pribably say that's exactly how he looked and acted like in his younger years
it's genuinely insane the level of accuracy they went to
no ken miles was a talented driver from the start, held back by his temper and attitude
movie does a great job at making you frustrated AT him and FOR him
Exactly, and the best part? HE never actually gets fixed
He still has as much of an ego and temper as ever
He still is that same undesirable person from the start
But now we feel for him, because we know from Shelby's perspective on how he views this hobby
i remember they did interview him about it, he said bruhl did an amazing job, the only thing hed do different is that he and hunt off the track were actually close friends, and he was a bit of a partyman himself, not the polar opposites the movie portrays
It's life, but it is also just another hobby
Ford V Ferrari was about racing, not character arcs
exactly that
Yeah honestly I wouldn't have minded if they did that bit too for the sake of realism
But hey man, the final portryal doens't leave anything to be desired either
shows you that to the outsider ken miles seems like pretty much a hot headed dick, but to those close to him (you grow closer to him as the movie progresses) is quite different
Yup, absolutely
He's not shown off as this anti-hero or some mis-understood talent
He's talented, he's skilled, but he's also just another person
he gets angry, he gets frsutrated, especially given his background
and the bittersweet ending to his lemans race does exactly that, makes you feel for him
He isn't some character we should learn from as a person
He's a character we should learn from as a racer
and then the harsh reality strikes you in the end
Indeed
the moment shelby puts on his sunglasses to hide his tears and drives off in his cobra is a chill inducing moment for me
His bittersweet end to the Le Mans
his end met in the car that would later go on to win many more
you can really feel how much ken meant to shelby and how empty he feels
But the real beauty of it all?
The movie shows it all
it was never about winning or losing
It was just racing
And "that's just racing" as John todt puts it
shit happens
Ken got the approval of those he needed
he helped spearhead a legacy for the brand he raced under
And he got to race on his own terms, as he had wanted
He may have not been a winner
But many racing legends were never winners either
THis is why the story I am writing somewhere else has a similar ending to that
The team doens't ever win
But its small accomplisgments are something that the racing fans, people like us, will always value
And how he snaps earlier with the car buyer
that whole sequence is amazingly directed
from the moment shelby hears "sometimes they dont get out the car"
to shelby visiting ken's home because he feels troubled, but the person he wants to talk about his troubles to isnt there anymore
very human, very real
I think Shelby was the one who had the character arc in the movie
He went from this jaded and kind of depressed person, masking this happy sales man and also brand ambassador for Ford, trying to keep politics and relations
But by the end, he's thrown all that way, he's thrown his facade away, he no longer cares about being the face or politics when he feels that he himself was part of the instruement that in his eyes showed his now lost friend injustice
and thats why its so sad
i can see that. Also Matt Damon had an oscar worthy performance as Carol Shelby, as did Christian Bale for Ken Miles
Yeah that whole thing hits the hardest
YOu do something out of nature, only to suddenly realize what's actually happened as the wave of reality hits you
very decorated and great actors, im glad the film had the budget it had, and that none of it was wasted
I don't think neither actor LOOKED like the real people
And Ken Miles in real life was never such an angry person
But alas, hollywood isn't it?
we didn't watch it for realism, we watched it for a story
well its very very hard to find an actor that both looks like the person and can put him on the big screen
imho acting is greater than similarity
Yeah i mean hollywood only ever hires the already known faces
Like 10 or 15 actors list
Of course, and besides, the whole story was basically just a different spin on reality anyway
I mean the whole Ford V Feerrari story in real life put very little focus on Shelby or Miles
They were just.. there
But in the movie, that's a different story
It's a good movie nonetheless
Of course, it's Hollywood afterall
We have bad examples and we have good examples
and god bless the good ones
I am like 100% sure in 10 years or so's time, we'll have other racing movies covering other stories
Whether original or an adaption of a real story
We'll have Senna vs Prost movie, we'll have Schumacher vs Hakkinen story
Matt damon, despite previous experiences, has great range as an actor in the roles he plays
Never stitled with emotions, always moving up and down
Glad to hear the road issues got cleared up. Last year the flooding washed away the main access roads and FE went to Jarama
FE doesn't require that. But permanent tracks are easier to test at because of facilities. When they raced at Valencia, they added a few wacky walls and chicanes into the run off.
And then everyone ran out of battery because of a foolish safety car rule
Saying that, formula e is adding events at (basically) permanent race tracks at a similar pace Formula 1 is adding shitty street circuits.
10 of 16 races next year at "permanent" high FIA grade circuits. If you include Monaco and Berlin
off they go again
That's unfortunate
@granite tangle https://x.com/PopBase/status/1965475007292997985?t=hIxM6jJxBS9QYwVZwXcchQ&s=19
just noticed. Max Verstappen colours on the new iPhone
seen all over my TL lol
copping?
I still can't get over how ugly it is
I don't like the having a big giant blob for the cameras, and then also having them stick out from that. The weird empty space in the big camera blob looks so awful to me.
The regular 17 is the only one I don't think looks terrible.
If I liked iphone i would cop ngl
Alonso has mastered levitation magic before outperforming lance stroll in 2025
Haha
THe world is going to change
Max will race this weekend with a "Permit-B-Spec", meaning his car will have reduced power
the Porsche Cayman GT4 usually has 425 HP, he'll drive it with about ~300 HP
So, unfortunately, he won't be beating records this weekend or win, he's just driving to get his permit A! https://t.co/59zEwaPXxc
thats a bummer
125hp less is fucking unreal
That does disadvantage him pretty severely
nah its serious enough so that hes not competing at all
just racing for the license
I understand
they're nerfing your boy
🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨
@CitroenRacing will join the Formula E grid from Season 12, marking the French giants' return to top level motorsport ⚡️
hmmm Citroen in fe
makes sense
Damn why doesn't Formula E tell us if they're a new team or replacing DS Penske
Stellantis Newsroom doesn't even tell me I will be sending an email
The product officer on the press release says it's a secret
I thought he was gonna race under the lion speed livery
Wasn't DS racing already thm
Gyess well have ro see
There's 3 options.
Citroen is the 11th team, and it's all fresh
Citroen Racing renames one of the other stellantis teams, I think DS would be most likely
Or they take over the entry of McLaren and keep some of that team employed. I wouldn't be shocked to at least see one of the McLaren Drivers in Citroen.
Given DS and citroen are already mostly the same thing, I think the 2nd option seems most likely
Mclarem drivers will likely be employed
But not sure what'll be done with Mclaren team itself
That’s what I think too
Unless operating an FE team costs nothing
Which I doubt
Charlie Kirk has witnessed;
Covid-19 pandemic
Iraq war
Russia - Ukraine war
Black Lives Matter
9/11 terrorist attack
Ebola Outbreak
Brexit Referendum
USA bombing Middle East
But after 31 years on this planet
He called it a day as soon as he saw Piastri close to a WDC 🕊️
*Lando Norris in a winning car
@pale tinsel
Max today at the circuit.
For anyone wondering… HE PASSED THE EXAM! Tomorrow there’s more https://t.co/QBd3QbVmbB
@pale tinsel is it me or do you genuinely have to have screws loose to drive side by side on the ring IN PRACTICE of all things
think about which driver you're talking about then rethink that question
oh i know about all that
but even for him its not like hes driven more than 10 laps around it 😭
god this car is sexy
Yeah probably not
but glad you think what I think
This won't be a glazing video. Nor will it be slander. This is an honest conversation about where Kimi Antonelli is at right now. About how his season has gone so far. How he compares to other rookies. And what Mercedes should do with him going forward.

...
THis guy's the worst F1 content creator
Yeah I don't know why I once or twice watched him either
He's insufferable, always wrong and truly out of his depth talking about this sport
hes typical clickbait dogshitter
the F1 content creator i dislike the most
and i see as a complete waste of oxygen
is RPM by far
terrible content, terrible person
He's not even a clickbaiter, he just straight up has no idea what he's talking about
And RPM? man he's a new level of bad
He straigght up speaks garbage every time
Takes personal matters into F1
I did like the line "fastest fat man out of Melbourne"
(referring to 1980 WDC Alan Jones)
anyway i dont even want to speak about RPM for over a single sentence
if anyone is interested this is tomorrow and will be streamed for free on this channel (10hrs from now) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLuNTiYdQVQ

I...
Eyy, excellent
I am kind of surprised 's picked a Ferrari for the job
You'd think he'd drive the Mustang given Ford and Red Bull's relations
Yeah not even worth the effort
oh hes not racing the ferrari sadly, he cant
they are putting him on GT4
which he chose a GT4 Cayman for the job
he's too powerful, they had to nerf him
but thats also detuned cause hes first time on the ring "officially" for a race..

This is the LionSpeed GT4 Cayman, dressed on verstappencom colors he will race
also to @severe spindle its no surprise he would use the cayman and the ferrari previously, as the hint is that they are mid engined
That's what srprises me
he owns 2 GT3 cars, of which the Aston is FR
I know but I would have thought his contract obligations would pervent him
He does? Damn
he has RB by the balls
they cant tell him much, plus im not sure if honda has a GT3 car for WEC
Not Honda, but Ford is their new owner now
his team technically, the ferrari and the aston vantage GT3 are the 2 cars they field
And the Mustang is present in both GT4 and GT3
when the GTD GT3 is made im sure he will cop one coincidentally xd
envious of him
It already is made
it already is racing
WEC spec is like near identical to IMSA spec, so it'd be ready very quickly
Regardless, that's what I assume he'll do
oh its based on the dark horse
the GTD is the regulation free balls to the walls one
Ngl, Max' comment about FWD being anti-driving is very stupid and has made him sour on me
my bad on that
i mean to him it probably is completely anti driving
Well it's all closely related
he was driving F3 before he drove a real car
Yeah but who cares what he thinks
or for that matter could legally do
never on a racetrack
Or anywhere
he certainly doesnt own one
Which makes his anti-driving statement very invalid indeed
It's just a different style altogether
Not his style
That's the key
i mean he said "to me it is anti driving"
makes sense because he is a very oversteer happy driver
and hates understeer
Don't think he worded it like that
Wouldn't want him to become an Alpine driver xd
its no wonder hamilton is struggling so bad now that i think about it
ngl, I seriously hope one day F1 does this thing where all the drivers and cars are swapped, so then we can see how much of an actual difference driver skill and car performance make
hes the total opposite and the ferrari is constantly sliding
he prolly hates it
his V line style was incompatible with ground effect itself, then the ferrari prolly flipped this man's world upside down
Yeah he really isn't used to it
He's grown used to driving mercedes for a very long time, and he's not a very versatile driver, unlike say Hulkenberg
It doesn't help that Mercedes has always been struggling with the ground effect far more than Ferrari
So his style just doesn't jive with the problem not being there
It's always interesting to see
mercedes had total false info on ground effect
its crazy how they could miss so hard
Which is bizarre frankly
Cause they seemed to nail the previous regulations nearly every time
So what's so difficult about this one is kind of beyond me
they had the last couple years down to a T
and then they come up with the zero pod concept, then spend months designging actual sidepods cause they lost the gamble, and then missed again
now they have a car that doesnt function in heat
It's properly bizarre
And even McLaren have beat them in their own engine
It's also probably why the Ferrari powertrain cars are performing better this season than the Mercedes ones
Besides Mclaren of course
The Mercedes is troublesome but McLaren have found the flaw and have greatly mitigated it
They have made an aerodybamic breakthrough
I’m sure for Mercedes it’s also caused from the overheating since they can’t cool the poor thing down
But even other cars have had failures
If lando’s engine didn’t blow on its last race of its estimated life then you’d think the McLaren engine is different XD
Now that I think about it we haven’t had engine blows for anyone but merc cars
Maybe the same PUs are extensively changed despite being the same
Or did a Renault alpine blow, was it an engine failure in Monaco?
Engine failures are very unpredictable. Goes to how despite al the similarities, these cars are all quite different
4 PUs swapped back and forth except 1 is usually customary kept for Monza
After 4 when u blow those up you get a 10 grid drop as you know I’m sure
It sucks at the moment for the driver but it’s a fascinating sight
The moment the engine goes past the limit and fails followed by smoke
It's what keeps the sport interesting
We never wanted to see people win back to back
We want to see people struggle
That's the point of a sport
THe moment you stop struggling, you're ruled out
People can talk as highly as they want about Schumacher, but I am certain they all hated his constant endless domination back then
I suppose we'll have to see how it all develops into 2026
Ferrari had him for done btw
Goes to show there’s 0 loyalty
If he didn’t get up from the deathbed to go fourth they’d have sacked him
I mean what else would you do if you were Ferrari?
Anyone else would have been dead
And if not dead, they weren't going to drive
Old Ferrari was very strict, that's for sure
Cool seeing in action however
Will be cooler for the race, supposedly in 20 or so
That's excting
starting P5, the next fastest detuned car is P16 and a minute slower
THat is some insanity
The rest of the class is probably rookies, privateers and stuff. The Nordscheife is ALL about confidence.
i agree, its a very uncompetitive class
which is a shame cause you can only compare him with amateurs or rookies, or people who arent running detuned cars
If it's specifically detuned cars to give rookies enough experience to get their full fat Nurburgring race licenses, then it probably isn't even meant to be particularly competitive
its a cup3 class car just detuned for all guests (non licensed)
he has to complete 14 laps in such a car to be able to race without the restriction
he is registered under 2 different cars in this race, hes trying to do all 16 today
i dont know how they would detune the SP7 though
mate ive forgotten how long a formation lap takes over here XD
they have an ad break for it
🤣
i also have to apologize to @severe spindle i was not aware that the dark horse generation mustang was racing ready, but theres even one in this race and its looking fab
🚨 | BREAKING: The FIA have rescinded the penalty awarded to Carlos Sainz at the Dutch GP.
The two penalty points he received for the incident have been removed.
@formularacers_ Yet they refused to talk to him after the race. What a joke 😂
What a yoke indeed
I am surpirsed they weigh the Great wall of China
I really like the idea of this, and the execution is perfect. However, sadly this wouldn't be recreatable in F1 anymore
well we could use the R8 for sauber/audi. For Redbull/Visa RB we can use the GT3 Dark Horse Mustang, for cadillac we could either use the CTSV GT3 but we could also cheat and use the C8 since they are both GM
not all of these are in GT7, im not exactly aware which of those are
but you could make it work with previous gens of them for like the mustang, or a corvette gt3
could also replace bottom right with Max Verstappen's car today
apparently it was not only detuned to 300 from 430, but also had a 150kg ballast added
Hmm true true. FM2023 actually has all of them so hat could work
Yeah that's smart actually. I more so mean irl however
Given sme of these cars don't exist irl
Like the Renault race car isn't used anymore
But yeah you're right aboutt he rest
That is a huge power deficit
Hmm, yeah but there are other Ferraris
But yeah it's all in good fun anyway
You could realistically give the Alpine team a Mercedes as well give they'll be using those engines from 2026 onwards
So for the 2026 grid it'd be like:
- Ferrari 296 GT3 for Scuderia Ferrari and Haas
- Audi R8 LMS Evo 2 or Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo 2 for Sauber/Audi
- Mercedes AMG GT3 for Mercedes-AMG and Alpine and Williams
- Ford Mustang GT3 for Red Bull and RB
- Mclaren 720S GT3 for Mclaren
- Aston Martin Vantage GT3 for Aston martin
Hehe, glad they realize at least
Having long waited for an #F1 chance that (as it stands) never came, Felipe Drugovich has now committed to a #FormulaE move, The Race has learned:
Andretti alongside Jake Dennis would be a great seat
Jake's a World Champ, and impressed in his champ year so much that red bull F1 popped him in the Abu Dhabi rookie test
not after this no, if he moves he moves
That's just unfortunate
He wasn't?
hell no
Damn, why?
not that impressive, hasnt raced in a while (since he won f2) and no seats open
A bit of a waste then
Keeping him away from a seat
Is he not impressive or did he win F2 championship?
I hope he finds some success in other fields of Motorsport
is he impressive enough for a team to sack their driver over? hell no
F1 is a waste of time with how long drivers stick around for
5 years should be maximum
also not f2 champions are the same
some win under way more competition
its a feeder series
Colapinto and Stroll are both in F1 right now
and both are pay drivers so who would dare sack them?
Colapinto is a pay driver?
drugovitch is neither a generational talent, nor does he bring in any money
hes stuck in between
The worst place to be
whyd you think alpine picked him
It's just tough with so few teams having any turnover these days. But that's F1
argentina itself is paying for him to just be there
he clearly is slower than doohan
so if he wasnt bringing in money how come he got the seat
He did well to survive FE on debut in Berlin, that series is complex to a degree he'll never have encountered
stroll's father literally owns the team just for him to have an indefinite contract
we cant be talking about no "drugovitch" here
Hmm, damn
That makes sense then..
That's a shame
Big up Lawrence for being such a supportive dad
props to him im not saying any different
but drugovitch has the least chance of all for an aston seat
hell is gonna freeze over before stroll loses his seat
I don't think he'll stay around for that much longer
how many years would drugovitch have to sit in the bench and watch for him to get a chance though
and would he get it? or would aston rather pick up a 20 year old fresh rookie talent by that point
He's not enjoying it much
I'm not denying what you say
F1 is a business sadly
At this point , shit like this just happens
@pale tinsel they are reinventing the zero pod concept https://x.com/formularacers_/status/1967264574530613479?s=46
🚨 | Ferrari are understood to be developing an extremely aggressive concept for 2026.
Details below:

No one even knows what'll work next year
My money is on Toro Rosso world championship
Alpine WDC CONFIRMED
That'd be pretty cool to see
I mean if we want proof of this
with the 2022 regulations, Alfa Romeo was actually pretty competitive initially
So the same could happen with 2026, an uunexpected team taking the lead
i just dont want it to be alpine cause of the people involved in the project
apart from gasly. he deserves a competitive car
I mean I guess fair enough, but le'ts be real
