Maybe replace his seat with Bearman, since Ferrari seems eager on Ollie
Thanks for the talk. I'll slowly have to take my leave to bed. Take.care mario
Norris clearly the faster driver. Only have the team to blame for Lando not winning. Piastri doesn’t deserve this win.
Delusional people
Holy shit lol
I didn't think Tsunoda had this many crashes
The typical "you don't deserve it"
nobody deserves anything in sports pal
You "earn" what you want, it's not a petty competition for people who "deserve" it
PFP says it all
bet its sugar

could be a daihatsu naked
The Daihatsu Naked (Japanese: ダイハツ・ネイキッド, Daihatsu Neikiddo) is a kei car built by the Japanese automaker Daihatsu from 1999 to 2003. It was first presented at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1997. It was available with a 658 cc petrol engine paired with either front- or four-wheel drive system. The styling included features such as ...
So good
Someone said something
Suffice to say, there's been alot of talks about how much the Spa race sucked
And alot of the talks have brought out alot of rants in people
well im inclined to agree
Complaining about the sport being "too safe"
Well.. honestly it's hard to agree and also hard to disagree
people are ranting but most people have absolutely no idea what theyre saying
We have sports like MotoGP, Touring cars and GT where they go all out
Contacts on, constant barrage
if anything f1 is NOT safe enough to be able to use full wets
And yet wit F1, should anything happen, it becomes unsafe
To be honest, this always happens
well i have a hope for next year's cars
The source of the problem leads to irrelavant points becoming the talking pont
full rain, hopefully pirelli fixes the wet even a little, disable all active aero and let them race
you will have significantly less aero sensitive cars
which makes them better in severe conditions
Yah hoepfully next year's cars won't have all these problems
Given as they'll be harder to drive by default, but also more predictable as there's no downforce shenanigans going on
Basically, cars are going to perform closer to their 2014 to 2018 period I believe
It'll be great if it does indeed work out
I already really like how the 2026 regs look visually
I always liked the 2022-2025 era of designs, but I understand the problems folks have with them
But the 2026 car looks like a great mixture of what made every design good
Smaller and more nimble, while also sleek
I have a belief which I think will help F1 a bit
Have the sprint races be done in different cars
What do I mean?
Normal races will have F1 cars
Sprint races will have GT3 cars or Touring cars
I mean it makes sense, makes it more interesting
Have the sprint races be almost their own championship in a way
Like you pointed out before, Pirelli can make amazing tires that can do everything these cars ask, yet FIA forces them to not to for the sake of the mandatory pit stops and strategies
That’s nice and all but you’d have to make teams that don’t have a road car division design, produce, and use GT cars?
Nah they'd just their engine manufacture's cars if they don't make GT cars
Mercedes-AMG, Williams and Alpine would be the AMG GT3
Ferrari, Sauber and Haas would be the Ferrari 296 GT3
Mclaren would be the Mclaren 720S GT3
Red Bull and RB would be the NSX GT3
I'm forgeting a F1 team...
Oh, right Aston
They'd just use the Vnatage GT3
Besides I doubt they'd even care too much what tey race
Ummm, Alpine A290 GT3!!!
i think to keep it realistic
we could have briatore send them out in a stock clio
rest of the field in GT3s
900cc 60hp one, keep it reliable
*Twingo
And he's one of my favorite drivers too
Same, it's a shame

I mean it wouldn't be an issue for him anyway lol
Good experience however
driving a RS200 and getting to chat with Max Verstappen
Also, I saw a joke in one of the Lolipop videos and I found it quite funny
Fernando said "back in 2000, there was so much standing water, I had to overtake 2 fishes to win the race."
Russel asked him really? And he said yes
Then he asked him what were their names
Fernando replied: "Giancarlo Fishichella and Shark Webber."

We will be saying goodbye to Stake as title sponsor in 2026.
The Audi Formula 1 Team has signed fintech giant Revolut as its title sponsor for when the German marque makes its championship debut in 2026.
#F1
Ah, fair enough. Giess it's still close
Interesting, so theyy'll be Revolut Audi F1 team in 2026
It's interesting how every team has a title sponsor nowadays
Indeed
And before them, Mission Winnow
Aka, Malboro
Say back in 2019, few teams had title sponsors
Only Williams, Red Bull, Mercedes and Racing point
arguably could add sauber to this
alfa romeo was a sponsorship and technical partnership
True, true
More so a sponsor like you said than an actual team
ironically Alfa Romeo did what Stake does right now
Though even more funnily, they sponsored Alfa in their last year
But right now, every team , bar Mclaren, has a title sponsor
it doesn't make much snese either, since they have so many Chrome and Google stuff on their car and yet that's not a title sponsor
You know why I think the cost cap should be reduced even further?
The tobacco money that was injected into these F1 teams made every sponsor afterwards look pitiful
When that was outruled, it led to complete disaster
Nearly every team, especially ones not backed by a manufacture, struggled
It's much the same right now
So I do think cost cap should be brought down even fruther
That's a sscary looking helmet

A dream, delivered. We had the honor of handing over the keys of the #AlfaRomeo #33Stradale to Valtteri Bottas. A unique piece, personally customized by him — the result of a journey we proudly completed together. Let’s keep dreaming, Valtteri.
@valtteribottas
@severe spindle
Eyyy, look at that
Taht's awesome
Makes alot of sense, given he raced for them when they wre Alfa
nah they've extended his contract
me when the rumours christian horner was gonna replace him
oooh, fair enough. Good choice to be honest
Repllacing him with anyone at thhis crucial point would have only added to their proiblems
Would have been crazy if they left
Yeah espiecally witj all the success they came to
Which one or ones are your favorite current helmets
One thing I don't quite understand is why their helmets keep changing
Back in 2000s, having your unique helmet was kind of a given
Coulthard actually spoke on how he'd always rock his Scottish flag helmet without change
@severe spindle this will amuse you! Aston Martin has just sold Aston Martin
Wait..
What
So... does this mean Aston Martin Racing isn't owned by Lewerance stroll anymore?
Does this mean Aston isn't gonna be Aston martin anymore?
What does this mean for the future
This was unexpected espiecally with all the investment
Even more chaotic
Stroll owns large amounts of Aston Martin and also Aston Martin, separately.
The car company is selling the 5% of the F1 team that it owned, but leaving their names on the team
It could leave that team more easy to rebrand if another company wanted their name on the constructor's championship in the future, if Aston Martin the car company changes from part owner to basically a sponsor and partner. There's also a chance car Aston Martin uses the $150mil they got from selling their stake in the team to invest in something that helps them make bigger profits, and then buys that bit of the F1 team again
Maybe
I'm not sure what this means for their future
Maybe the team.wont be affected by this
But it was only 5% stake in the F1 team.
Jordan/Midland/Spyker/Force India/Racing Point/Aston Martin F1 team will probably just continue as normal regardless. Aston wasnt exactly bringing massive manufacturing capacity, or an engine supply or anything.
I really like Alonso’s helmet, and Tsunoda’s with the leaves. If it had the Dark blue and orange Verstappen helmet then that too
He still does when he drives for Redbull Showrunners, it’s just too iconic
There’s nothing I love more than archival Targa Florio footage
QRT: buffys

Well they still do use their name. Even if they don't share much aside from an owner and the name, if Stroll is selling those stakes, it leaves AM open for rebrand
Yup, it just makes sense. But the current grid's helmets all have changed as I know
Oh I think Stroll seperatly owns a big stake in the F1 team as well as owning 30% of the car company
Now that's beautiful
I mean I suppose so, that stake owning is what has allowed him to do the rebrand to AM
Actually, technically speaking, this team is still Racing point
just sponsored by Aston Martin
Kind of like Sauber with Alfa Romeo and BMW
Stroll's money is crazy
To be fair, most teams are like this
Jordan's probably had the longest history of name changes
wet tyres spotted in the wild
what we thinking
sounds v8
could be a caddy
although those tail lights were bm
Nah its definitely just an E92 M3
i was about to say the same
yeah that is 100% what nima said
and i dont think it matters f1/contract wise
Thanks alot Mario
And yeah I feel like the Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas combo is set for 2026
But I do also think that Mick is on their tables, as a potential reserve driver and possible seat for 2027
A pleasure to have you experience WRC machinery,
@RichardHammond 🤩
#WRC | #RallyFinland 🇫🇮 #RallyRides https://t.co/GHLxGkHi8g
Hehehe, you can't keep Hammond away from danger
Gotta love it
I sometimes wonder
Because I nowadays hardly shift between games
So going from one game to another is often an experience of needing to relearn the driving and everything
Like I go from playing F1 Challenge to playing Dirt 4, and it's just not translating the skills at all
Maybe I am getting old
or maybe I am expecting too much from myself to be good at everything quickly
Well it takes a bit to adjust yes
If you give yourself 30 minutes of patience you should be able to remember
Ofc the longer you haven’t played that game the longer you need
of course, it's a matter of being paitient
Patience isn't something I'm good at
I would like to play dirt 3 after the exam is over
PFFFT
hahaha
That guy knew the stakes at play
guido finally gets to work on real Ferrari
Alonso is to miss FP1 today due to muscular injury
Oh that's unfortunate
Hope it's nothing serious
🚨 | BREAKING: Felipe Drugovich will replace Fernando Alonso in FP1 at Hungary.
Alonso has been managing a muscular injury in his back.
Alonso's participation for the rest of the weekend remains to be decided.
Doesn’t seem critical but he might miss more sessions than fp1
Good that Druovich does finally get this chance
Felipe got points in Berlin Formula E a few weeks ago and those two races were some of the most... Unique to FE style. He's clearly adaptable, I'd love to see him get a chance to race alongside Lance
Would be nice indeed to see him prove himself
who knows, maybe he'll prove to be an Ollie Bearman alike
replace an experienced driver, show such talent thhat he ends up getting a full seat for next season
pfft
You know it's funny how brutal the world of F1 is
Even as a rookie, you're expected to perform almost immediately
And sometimes the teams don't take into account the cars' natural deficits in performance
Someone like Yuki Tsunoda was a rising star in Alphatuari/Visa Cashapp RB
But soon as he comes into Red Bull, he struggles badly
It also doesn't help that most of these problems stem from the teams' actual enviroment and expectations
Red Bull, and somewhat by extension RB, are actively affected by the strict and high performance expectations
which is kind of ridiculous given they've only had 2 WDC drivers
So essentially, they expect every driver they recruit to be the next Vertsappen or Vettel
Even other high performing teams, like Mercedes-AMG, Ferrari or Mclaren have no such enviroment
All of their drivers have stated confidently that they feel safe with their seats
Not that it is always this way, mangements change of course
But frankly, it makes me wonder how teams like Red Bull could ever claim any victory unless luck would have drivers like Vettel or Max drop in their laps
It's the same story with Alpine
They expect every driver they find to be the next Alonso or Ocon or something
And they have an even worse excuse given their cars are often not even competitive
sugar boy would have a flyer with this
would so get baited by these guys
question is, who's replacing him
they better be good if alpine wants to stay in formula 1
To all those negative people who asked why I would put a Formula Renault engine in @CaterhamF1 CT05#1 this may explain & a V10 engine is cheaper than a modern hybrid unit & gearbox
oh dear god
One step closer to having a real life Oppressor MkII
read the page's name slowly
oh shit lmao
HAHAHAHA ya got baited
No doubt he'd say something on twitter account
So did I for a second, heh
nah he wasnt banned, zuu just called lando a bottler and he genuinely ragequit
Seriously? That's so petty of him I swear to god
Imagine the sort of tantrum he'd throw if Lando hadn't won Silverstone
ok that's even funnier
I wonder what he said about Canada
McLaren Formula E team just posted a heartfelt, very sad farewell message on Instagram... I really think it might be OVER for the Bicester formula e team
Sauber is straight up Razgriz

I understand that, without my agreement, Alpine F1 have put out a press release late this afternoon that I am driving for them next year. This is wrong and I have not signed a contract with Alpine for 2023. I will not be driving for Alpine next year.
it never got deleted?!? My hero
That's amazing
To be honest, given the results it is hard to blame him
Alpine would have screwed his future over
@pale tinsel its not lookin good
Bruh just seen an ad during the F1 for a $15,000 per person cruise of the Mediterranean

LECLERC
Leclerc pulled a miracle
But we need to make some discussions about Hamilton
That car should be capable of Q3
Either that or Leclerc is the reincarnation of Senna
"Toyota dominance could bore fans"
“It’s me every time. I’m just useless. The team has no problem. The second car is on pole, so they probably just need to change driver.”
︀︀
︀︀Distraught Lewis Hamilton after qualifying 💔
look what Ferrari has done to him man
petition to blow up the ferrari team
Q: So, what happened in Quali?
Lewis: I'm just useless.
Q: Sorry, say again?
Lewis: I'm just useless.
Q: But that isn't obviously the case, is it?
Lewis: It clearly is. I just drove terribly.
@pale tinsel he said it multiple times
To different interviews
Holy fuck is he broken
he's had the Ferrari effect in like half a season
he knows it's all fucked
man he's done
Yeah but never this much
Like this is even more self deprecating than lando Norris interviews in 2024
Poor guy
Crazy that Leclerc got fastest lap
Maybe Ferrari will get their win this season
Alonso and Stroll were very fast this qualifying
And Hulk in typical fashion qualified last
It's ironic, Sauber and AM have polar opposite situations often
Sauber qualify down the order and one driver finishes top 10
And AM qualify top 10 and usually only 1 car scores points
Colapinto showed some pace
Max had a bad time
To be honest, I sympathise with his thinking
It can hardly always be blamed on Ferrari as a team when one driver is almost always consistently faster than the other
I mean Stroll seems to always be faster than Alonso on practice
Yet he never escapes allegations amyway
Pffft
Maybe it had an effect
By the way, someone said something hilarious
Alonso has been rocking the Mustache for some time
Ans today, someone in reaction to his qualifying said
"He's channeling the Nigel Mansell powers"
I laughed hard reading that
Faston Martin this weekend
Indeed
i really hope this doesn't end up backfiring in the race
Even lance seemed confident
Maybe they can do this
Aston Martin getting their shit together before GTA VI
Hehe
Will say, if they manage to hold their shit together, and Ferrari manages to score the win
This will be a very interesting race in the 2025 season indeed
All a man needs is a double McLaren dnf
Now that
Would be absolutely fantastic
No hate towards Lando or Piastri
But back to back wins are boring
Rosberg Hamilton style would make it interesting
THat almost happened in Canada
And given this is hungary
A track notoriously difficult to overtake and prone to crashes and chaos
A crash between the two mclarens would be
@pale tinsel
I love these
If sugar boy was here he’d talk about how he’s a terrible person
Indeed he would
Look, I have no doubt in my mind that Max is a bit of a dirty driver
Overly aggressive
And when he gets angry, he's quick to throw a tantraum
But so what honestly? You can't take moments of someone's low points and then judge them entirely based on those
Max Verstappen is a good willed and honest person first, and a very competitive racer second
But Sugar is convinced that somehow every single of his favorite drivers, who are all British coincidentally, are victims of Max and that they never did any wrong
He forgets the fact that Lando was for majority of his career a talentless paid driver and Lewis' era of winning or dominance is long over and he's been endlessly struggling with ground effect cars
He barely managed to beat out Alonso in 2023 for 3rd in the driver's championship
And I assure you, were Colapinto, a driveer he hates on a personal level, British, he'd completely forgive all his short comings
That is exactly my opinion as well
Oh for sure
I am glad for your agreement. it's ridiculous what nonsense Sugar spewed
Athelete nationality bias is completely normal
Hell, even expected
But not to this degree
I'm sure he'd find a way to hate every single other driver as well, if he doesn't already
According to Sugar:
Lando: Saint
Oscar: Convict
Leclerc: Sugar baby
Hamilton: God's gift
Russel: Skibidi toilet baku my dudes
Antonelli: Useless rookie
Sainz: Spic
Albon: Immigrant
Gasly: French cunt
Doohan: Useless convict
Colapinto: Absolutely Censored slurrs
Hulkenberg: Alright I guess
Bortoletto: Another spic
Estaben: French cunt agaiin
BEarman: Protect this man at all costs
Stroll: more censored slurs
Alonso: Another another Spic
Hadjar: Another French cunt
Lawson: Convict but even worse
Max: Murderer
Yuki: Useless and washed
I saw this online and I kind of liked it
Given their money and budget, I am surprised that VAG never got involved with F1 on any decent scale
It's about to change with Audi replacing Sauber
But given all the brands under VAG:
- Bentley
- Lamborghini
- Bugatti
All some history in top tier levels of racing, they got these brands never in any way involved with that life
Neither as a team nor an engine supplier, or even a sponsor
"french cunt" lmaooo
Right now, I think Bentley Lambo and Bugatti don't really have buyers that align with the people F1 would impress.
Porsche is the name I am STUNNED they didn't put on the F1 team tbh
Top flight engineering challenge in racing.
6 cylinder engines
They definitely had a few chances, but so am I interested that they never went at it full on
There used to be a F1 Porsche team
But that was back way then
nearly every car factory had a F1 team during then
I mean I suppose so, but brands like Bugatti and Bentley were F1 car makers before it was even called F1, they cut their teeth in mtorsport
Absolutely. Audi is one of the iconic Motorsport names too, so it isn't silly to bring them to F1
Absolutely
Audi's many successes in the Endurance side of Motorsprt is proof of this
The most successful brand in Endurance racing
I do hope F1 gives us some hybrid Audi supercars
seems possible ngl
I doubt the R8 spirit will remain dead for long
only reason they killed the previous R8 was because the sales were declining
and the R8 was already the least interesting Supercar ever
So if they gave it a V8, it'd sell even worse

man listen to the radio as he gets wheeled into the pit box
Ferrari has fully broken him ffs
I don't know if It's Ferrari's fault this time around
But this season really showed the problems with being in one team for too long
I get what you mean, but some blame has to lie on Ferrari
Prime Fernando Alonso between 2010 and 2014 and only challenged for the championship twice. 2010 they failed on strategy and 2012 alonso outdrove the car like hell. arguably the 4th or 5th fastest car on that grid
Vettel between 2015 and 2020 again only challenged twice for the championship. 2017 was a building year but the car was quick, Mercedes were just better. 2018 they arguably had the fastest if not close to fastest car for most of the year. combination of ferrari management and strategy plus vettel making mistakes in the second half of that season cost them that one. From then on Vettels confidence was in the mud
It was a big risk changing car concept just for one season this year and it looks like it isn't working out
Big risk
Big reward
But of course, it isn't guaranteed
Ferrari just always messes something up, there's no doubt of this
But in todays race, I'm not sure of the.blame is realy.with.tjem
Hilarious lol
hamilton lost 2 positions
alonso got past norris but theres absolutely no contention in their car's power
norris in fourth alonso back in fifth
wow beautiful pass from max, max 7th, stroll drops back to P8
@pale tinsel ferrari are looking great with leclerc, but lewis is looking really slow
Good lord F1 feels a bit dull to me on TV after live racing last weekend
This is ridiculous
I wish I could watch the race
Seems like Max has fallen back
hes essentially where he started
the race is not uneventful, even tho positions still are kinda the same as the start still XD
Yeah it's just allt is happening that almost nothing is happening
I have hope that this won't be a Mclaren double podium
Really? Damn
maybe theres hope for leclerc but he needs lady luck on his side for another 35 laps
i think come lap 50+ we'll have a lot of chaos
mclarens are a lot better on their tyres remember
shame for hulkenberg on that jumpstart
didn't look like it from what i saw
bortoleto got away with it
this is the delusion I'm choosing to believe
https://x.com/autosport/status/1951949508679524590?t=CtOpxrjrod2wnCzuESoSeQ&s=19
You know how this is called a track position track
like Monaco
and Ferrari gave track position up?
yeah that
angry leclerc
ferrari once again fucked it
i expect nothing and I'm still let down
i hate this team man
you just had to say this didn't you
Damn well held by Norris
They get pole.
They lead the race with strong pace until halfway to give you hope.
Then they fuck it up with poor strategy and a catastrophic drop off in pace, finishing off the podium.
I’m convinced this team is a social experiment to teach resilience.
guess it's time for the customary
back with a banger
banger and true
They've broken his spirit 😢
On one hand, I hate that I didn't get to watch the race
On the other hand, looking at the highlights and results, I am glad I didn't see it
Man.. what a blow to both Ferrari and Leclerc
Just.. unbelievable
Why is it so difficult for Ferrari to manage a decent car setup
You know for a fact that Sugar is right now jerking his little johnson to the fact that lando won
Lando or Lewis may whine every now and again due to underperofmring
But Charles is the one who's been through it the hardest
Hahaha
Man if that ain't true
If life wasn't hard enough, Ferrari will make sure to not make it any easier
remember in spain 2020 after charles had a dnf and the ferrari crew started packing up their stuff, forgetting that seb was still out on track, leaving him to make his own strategy and driving 36 laps on used softs because they refused to bring out new tyres for him
the amount of shite seb had to put up with in his last Ferrari season
pfft
It's ironic
Poeple hated Vettel in his Red Bull years
but his Ferrari years, despite his lack of success, made him more beloved
gabi: walks by
︀︀fernando: “we were A LOT faster than the sauber”
︀︀gabi: immediately comes back😭😭
it was easier to hate the winner. but personally, i appreciated his talents more when he drove for Ferrari and Aston
always rooted for him
hahaha
Gabi: "You wot mate"
Same to be honest. He showed that he indeed had talent, and while yes his cars never were on the same grade to get him the wins again, it did show that beneath everything, there was more to the man than his wins
that's the fate Max has luckily managed to avoid
Thanks to social media and him being more open
Piastri would never in his life be able to deliver the medium tyre stint Norris delivered today so I don't want to here anything about the strategy
even goldfish have a better memory than my man here
like spa didn't even happen
He's ridiculous
Also, I don't like to use this term
But Stroll is certainly aura farming with this picture
i love hhow the commentators were also impressed by how long that text wall could get
I've just realised how sad I'll be if nissan change their iconic livery for season 12 😢
It's a nice design, but I suppoe it is subject to potential change
the hyundais are really quick too, but they both suffered big damage in the rally so they DNFed/lost huge time
That's a big shame
The WRC Rally 1 scene seems pretty compeititve
almost all the cars seem prety equal
in performance that is
That's a rally fiesta I think
Maybe based on the newer one then
Looks like it for sure
Also makes sense knowing her father’s ties to ford
I had thought Hoonigan had lost their deal with Ford however
Hoonigan never had a deal with Ford. Only Ken Block had
So they made a deal with them proper now?
And yes, Block later in his career switched to Audi for the last Gymkhana
But it’s no surprise if they want to sign Lia, she’s a properly solid rally driver apart from popular
Yeah and I am guessing that deal didn't last
And being related helps immensely with the image they need
The deal Hoonigan/Block lost was more like Monster Energy
Monster pulled out, that’s the main reason the later Hoonicorn changed livery
And you can see that from the fact Lia is signed with Rockstar Energy instead
The reason I say that is because brand deals have set contracts, I mean if we are being honest Ken was driving Subarus before his massive blow up to fame
Ahh, that explains much actually
It was a secret in reality
Yeah of course, it didn't end up coming to fame overnight
Driver % of their team's points:
Gasly - 100%
Verstappen - 96%
Albon - 77%
Ocon - 77%
Russell - 73%
Hülkenberg - 73%
Leclerc - 58%
Piastri - 51%
Alonso - 50%
Hadjar - 49%
Interesting how the balance works
Indeed
He's definitely an alright driver lol
Being for real
Stroll will never be as good as Alonso on equal terms
But he wil never be horrible either
Especially shown this season
I do also like that Hadjar and Lawson make such a good combo
bernie bernie bernie
why must you be so goated
Had to dust this image off goddamn
This is more of an instagram inconsistency issue
Oh ok
Sometimes the embed works, sometimes it just doesn’t
Twitter embeds work always so like

I really like this fiesta and this livery
And it’s nice that it’s the same car she won the championship on
I remember Ken mentioning that both his wife and Lia drove and loved those 3cyl rally 3 fiestas
Means alot to her then
ngl, I genuinely have a tough time giving a flying fuck about Lia
Like.. nothing clicks of her with me
Nothing of her interests me, and nothing of current Hoonigan interests me
I don't even know why this is
It's just boring for no clear reason
I don’t follow hoonigan at all
I used to heavily watch their shit tho
Not because of Ken but like other characters
THeir lack of relevance nowadsys is telling of how much Ken's death affected this whole ordeal
Regardless, I am not sure
I really dislike that Fiesta R3
It's like trying to capture that same effect of the old Monster Energy Ken Block cars
yet without any of the cool factor
Nothing of it screams "hoonigan"
Pffft
Or actually make half decent looking liveries
like the famous Volkswagen Beetle car
Rockstar livery designs can look really good
And that Fiesta isn't a good looking design to me
It feels like it's trying to be a mix of the old Monster energy designs but this time with Rockstar branding
It's a wannabe
Damn rally 3 is all wheel drive?!?!? THAT must be a WICKED fiesta
I guess
@granite tangle https://x.com/formulafakers/status/1952764432448168436?t=0GzvrSAOAO38cjV8nbo7ug&s=19
i fucking love these guys
Damn I thought they were just sarcastically headlining the truth
There 4 people in the cinema, including me and my sister
Thats not a good sign
Or maybe because its the english version and that french ppl suck at english
Try and have fun. And it's always okay to laugh AT a movie 🍿
Promotion to VCARB 🤣🤣🤣
I love this page
Most likely, because the movie is literally one of the highest grossing films ever
I have not watched it and I’m not talking about its quality
But it’s a successful film
This movie with 4DX sounds fun
Holy shit, this is brilliant
I mean if he returns, does that mean lawson has to be brought back as a Red Bull driver?
to be honest this whole situation is pure nonsense
If it were up for choice, Red Bull be running only 1 car and 1 driver
And people defend this team, what a joke
Read the name of the page that posted these news slowly
Did they ever leave the track?
Last time they were seen was q3
Oh that's what it meant
You know, Franco's story honestly sounds like what if Piastri stayed at Alpine
A waste of a talent
And I know Sugar, if he were here, would have me on a spit for saying anything good about Colapinto
I just finished watching it
I cant explaî how fucking good it is
Its so well done so well wrote
I guys ´ees to watch it
The small references u can catch too
The small details
10/10
When you understand how all this works, the cars, the flags, the physics and all
Its so fun
Folks said it is quite inaccurate, but it is at least fun then
It is
Some moves def illegal
But I dont wanna spoil, yall figure it out yourself
Wow, that's crazy impressive. I never would have expected it from that car
Team Update
During Day 2 of Pirelli Tyre Testing at the Hungaroring this morning, Franco Colapinto had an incident at Turn 11. Franco was assessed on site at the medical centre and is OK.
🚨 | George Russell reveals that he has purchased a second, smaller boat for Kimi Antonelli to practice in:
🗣️ “I think it's important that Kimi gets his hand in before he tries to pilot my new yacht - I went and got him something little to pootle around in, as a gift.” https://t.co/Qtt4rYlYqI
@pale tinsel
George is a great teammate
Franco is not having a good time a all

you haven't opened the tweet have you?
I havem't no
I'm even more confused
we're not even 5 days into the summer break mini and this is what f1 twitter has descended into

"little tilts he does to the steering wheel before the corner"
you mean.... steering?
Since we're in zandvoort , the way lando drive and the little tilts he does to the steering wheel before every corner. Lando, you're so dear to me 🤍
︀︀
︀︀@LandoNorris
Oh, that's the joke
Fair enough
pffffffft
Sometimes fans amaze me
Suhar was such a cunt
I do like Zandvoort
I still can't believe it has a banked turn
isnt that lewis too behind max? i see 2 XD
Hahaha
I didn't even realise
Makes this extra true
Jesus christ man
Lewis' first season with Ferrari has been diablocal
I said this before, and I'll say it again
I don't think Lewis is coming back to drive with Ferrari for 2026
We should hear them out. Good points were made
think its the PR guy
or girl
What do you think is the problem with Alpine?
because seemingly, they're struuggling very badly for a couple of years
But beyond just a toxic work enviroment, which itself is a product of their failures, what's the actual matter?
They say Renault engines are the problem, and maybe so, but i really don't think it'd cause this much trouble
Their drivers aren't even that bad, but they still struggle badly
From their 2022 brilliance, they've dropped far back into practically being unable to do anything
What do you think is the actual problem
The development trouble or adapting they're facing that leads to this fate they're currently suffering from
oh this should be good

Lewis and Charles have already ranked their favourite video games and now it’s time to put their skills to the test 🎮
Watch as they go head-to-head on some retro classics. Who’s got the upper hand when the controllers come out?

This is a surprise
not really, lewis does love his retro games
he has one of those things where there's a console in a suitcase
I more so mean that I am surprised Ferrari has time to do videos like this
Hey I guess it's summer break, they have some time
Also, I just realized the reason that Webber is so scarily protective of Oscar's position at Mclaren is because he himself was side-lined for Vettel at Red Bull
So he doesn't want that to happen to Piastri as well
charles cant stop screaming lol
Yeah that’s everyone says that mark will never allow McLaren to turn Oscar into another Webber xd
Max is crazy
Hehe, it makes alot of sense to be honest
he views alot of himself within Oscar. And while Oscar will always be a great driver, he wants him to reach the success that he felt denied of
to answer this. they're french
And the engines are the main reason they're so bad, the other i would say is the high turnover in leadership in recent years
They started working on this gen of engines really late, so come 2014 they were behind Ferrari and Mercedes by a lot
Underpowered and Unreliable. the worst combination of engine you could get
Ricciardo flashbacks…
So that makes alot of sense actually as to why they're slwoer
And ever since they couldn't catch up
then there was an engine development freeze in 21
That just worsens it
How the fuck did ricciardo go to Renault even after all the DNFs the fucking engine caused him in Redbull
It's a bit of a mystery
arguably 2nd best. if i remember right about that era, it was widely agreed the mercedes engines were the best in early 2010's, probably even begore then
But I imagine money?
true, the mercedes engines were dominant even back then
Ferrari were up there
which is a shame really cause in hindsight, 2021 Verstappen, Ricciardo and Hamilton championship fight?
ooft
I don't blame Ricciardo's move anyway
There was no team who'd have him anyway
And he did well at Renault anyway, hell, killed many of his teammates
well...2
He did well. The McLaren move was the really bad one
It's not a small number for someone who never had WDC potential
that mclaren move really killed him off
Ricciardo was a better driver than Piastri and Norris combined
I feel like that wasn't even his fault. I remember hearing they at Mclaren treated him poorly and the car was never to his standard
Ricciardo was genuinely like...top 3 of 4 probably?
Yes it’s true
Not sure about Piastri, but Norris for sure
Ricciardo was good, don't get me wrong
Piastri has the potential, but Ricciardo was a different breed in his prime man you don't get it
But when I say "WDC potential" i mean he never had the right team for it
Nah people legitimately forget how GOOD Danny was
McLaren killed his confidence completely
And if Mclaren wasn't bad enough, his state in VCARB was truly depressing
8 time Grand Prix winner on machinery that had faults almost every week
When Ricciardo was happy with the car Danny was untouchable
Also Danny did beat Max on merit, even if max was still young that is not so easy
Certainly not
Yeah, post mclaren confidence destroyed in a car more often than not towards the back of the grid
But to be honest, this is a fate that's happened to so many drivers that at this point it's hard to feel bad
Ricciardo, Webber, Kyvat, Lawson, Yuki, Gasly, Albon
All victims of Red Bull
Sainz is going through the exact same thing
It's hardly anything new anymore
The streets won’t forget that Sainz and max were neck and neck as Torro Rosso teammates
Now Sainz is struggling to make Q2
Indeed
It's all about the car
And Sainz cannot for the life of him get along with the Williams car
Williams is the team where drivers go to lose their future
The grid of formula e drivers at any given moment too
Nyck, Franco and now Sainz
Nah. Webber no, he was fast yes but not levels above. Kvyat had the speed, but was crash happy. Lawson possibly, he just needs confidence and he's getting that back at VCARB (but he's so unlikeable to me). Yuki has to be the guy now, but he's been shafted by a red bull thats fallen off a bit. Gasly had to ditch red bull to finally show how good he is. Same with Albon
Or to make it, In Russel’s case
Though Russel was the golden child of Claire Williams
So that’s certainly quite different to everyone else
Yeah Russel had no relevance
he was ALWAYS going to race for Mercedes
He had nothing to worry about
Russel put a stamp on it in Sakhir 2020 when he filled in for Lewis and showed everyone that a backmarker driver in a Mercedes can win a race by miles
Well that is until the “accident”
It really shows the difference between Red Bull and Mercedes
Red Bull goes through drivers faster than a baby goes through diapers
While Mercedes has never been over abundanced with drivers
and all their drivers are above average
what, totally accidentally putting bottas's tyres on his car?
What difference. If you watch Sakhir 2020 it almost feels like Mercedes made it out so Russel would lose on purpose
I don't know the story here so I cannot comment
To me they did sabotage him, there can’t be proof because it’s an “accident”
Pitted him and destroyed his race by putting Botta’s tires, then re-pitted him and Checo Perez managed to win from 19th thanks to that
Tldr sakhir 2020 george would have won the race easily. but in the last 2 pit stops he first got bottas's tyres on his car. big no no. then the next he allegedly got a puncture
Great race, you should watch the highlights
That move around the outside of bottas
But watching it live and seeing George lay down in the grass and cry for being betrayed by his own team hurt more than anything
Interesting... I assume it's one of those moments which cannot say whether if it was accidental or intentional
like the 2021 finale
i think that race basically sealed valterris fate but he was already under contract for 21
I'm surprised he still continues to race for them
If you ask anyone that isn’t a Lewis cultist or Mercedes or Toto wolf they’ll say it was on purpose
Sponsored by Armaco.
All rights reserved.
Fair enough
He didn’t race for them back then. That was his one chance of proving himself (Hamilton had covid and they called him up from Williams)
oh let's not forget, george barely fit in the car in this race. literally i think they had to make special pedals or something in like a week
Regardless, this is still nothing compared to what Red Bll does to their drivers
that was it yeah
Red bull have 2 teams to do what they wish with
Phat Browns been complaining about that for years
Anyway Imma go blow off some steam by putting anime girls on an S15
pfft
Yeah they really are horrible
Regardless
I wanna say this about Ricciardo
I fully recognize his skill and his potential
However, I also wanna say that people way overinflated his ego
A good F1 driver is someone who's happy to be there and performs their best
Daniel had such a weak ego that people boosted him to be this next world champion driver
That when that didn't happen, he just comoletelyt lost the will to race
Don't be like Ricciardo, be like Hulkenberg, who's just happy to be there
never overinflate your expeectations
Because then you'l lose whatever you were already good at as well
In a recent video online, some fan caught up to him and asked him few question during time at the airport.
Ricciardo reflects on his career, expressing gratitude and a sense of surrealism about achieving his childhood dream of becoming a race car driver, which adds a personal and relatable dimension to his public persona.
His mention of prefer...
Jesus, man looks messy
"What a year huh"
"Danny it's August"
Indeed, man looks like he doesn't have money to eat even
By the way, there was this video I saw, of a woman explaining the reason for the ever-increasing fashion statement seen in Formula 1
And what it has to do with all of these petroleum companies which sponsor these teams
And I must say.. as it was the same with the Tobacoo sponsors, it's a weird feeling supporting these oil companies' sponsors
Like I would be an absolute fool to say brands like Petronas or Aramco or Shell don't make some of the best looking sponsors
But it is the sme story with how almost all of the Tabaco sponsors worked
They promote something hurtful, and they still are an integral part of why we like rhe sport
It's a double edged sword
truth is, there's no such thing as a "good" big sponsor
Is there an oil company making a good looking F1 livery?
Every big sponsor is destructive in some way
there's not such money to be found in good causes
Well their sponsorship makes the liveries often adapt
And truth be told, without these major sponsors, none of these teams would be sustainable
Motorsports as a whole wouldn't be sustainable without these major sponsors
My favourite sponsor demanded livery, these days, is BWT luminous pink
They look cool as hell
I do like BWT as well, but I do always wonder what they do
admittedly, i don't quite understand what BWT does
tehy're a very commonly found sponsors nowadsys however
Well bwt stands for Best Water Technology
They do water purification and supply stuff
So they sell stuff for filtering water and such?
Interesting
Guess they must be seirously big to be able to sponsor so many race cars
Could it be that BWT is a "good" sponsor?
Well every building needs water
Yeah but petroleium is still more in demand
I mean........
Still though
Interesting how a water flitering company's colors are primarily pink
ngl, I don't really like their shade of pink on their own
In my opinion, it needs a complimentory color
Like the Alpine cars always have
Like with the 2024 black, pink and blue car
or like the 2025 blue and pink car
The blue is a compliment bwt uses on their website. I reckon they go with pink because it's memorable, and I'd guess most water treatment companies use either blue or something as boringly neutral as possible
This was one of the most unpainted cars 🤣
Blue makes sense, and pink makes them stand out
Indeed, though ironically I didn't know this
So I thought it was just actual black paint
And even if it is unpainted, gotta say, the black, pink and blue look good together
You know what I find funny?
Back in the last 2 years of Force India and 2 years of Racing Point
THeir colors were the BWT colors
It was a pretty big sponsor lol
Oh it was their title sponsor for 2020, fair enough
Maybe bwt thinks it's cringe to be a title sponsor (they'd be right) and don't ask for it
ngl, I do like title sponsors
I don't know, something about a more full name makes it sound cooler to me
It's a weird effect
Oh wait it was the title sponsor just nobody ever said it haha
Yeah essentially they sponsored the Racing point Force India cars
And then sponsored the 2019 Racing point car
And then actually title sponsored the 2020 RP20
I have realised JCB sponsors that racing point AND that Audi R8 GT3 car 🤔
And then they began to sponsor Alpine from 2022 as their title sponsor
AND Acronis???
It is possible that these companies talk to each other and decide who to sponsor together, espeically if they're already under soem form of agreement and or under each other's control and or the same parent company
AAAAND Claro?!?!? What's happening
Pffft
Bombardier as well???
That's 5 sponsors together this is so weird
to be honest, it isn't so unusual anymore
Aqua Mondo!!!!!! It's 6 names together
New bit, these formula e teammate side by sides are really wacky.
The envision drivers are so close on almost everything and yet Buemi has triple the points of Frijns.
Then jaguar was so bizarre. Mitch had two wins, yet on average went backwards in races. Wild
Their point system is a bit different
What is Envision by the way? Did have a previously more recognised name?
think it was DS Virgin Racing before
Oh they're not DS racing anymore?
So Maserati is now the only Stellantis brand in Formula E
Hahaha
2026 could indeed be their year, but it could also very well not be
By the way, I saw somebody complain about someone tiering Lando and Oscar under Charles and Max in the 2025 driver ratings
But honestly, it made sense to me
Lando and Oscar are driving a car which is by far and wide the best in the field
If they don't win every race, it is a bit of a bizarre sight
And msot of either Lando or Oscar's wins have been due to circumstance
Hell, should Mercedes, Ferrari or Red Bull be able to close the performance gap, it would be likely for them to catch up in either driver championship or constructor championship
Virgin was a season 1 team, quietly partnered with Peugeot for season 2, but the kit was badged as DS for branding.
Then in season 5, stellantis ended their sponsorship/power supply, so Virgin bought in Audi power. Separate, Envision, a Chinese wind turbine manufacturer I have just learned, came in as a title sponsor. Then at the end of 2021 Virgin left and now Envision has the whole outfit.
DS moved their badge to now be partnered with the Penske Team
And the points system is basically the same but there's a point for being fastest in group qualifying, and three for pole position
oh then my bad
It's kind of like Stake actually
First they just sponsored the Alfa Romeo Sauber car
But later as Alfa left, they came to own the Sauber team altogether
A bit different then, fair
@granite tangle how of all cars
Ferrari and McLaren caught da fuq up
XD
Remember when Vettel said the W13 looks like shit?
hehehe
I just learned that Alpine had a double podium in 2024
That's insane
And more insane that the team in 2025 is nowhere near that performance
Man, hate on Mclaren is strong
Saying their drivers have been a disappointment
I don't know whether if it's true or not
But I gyess their reasoning isn't without justification
They ran their mouth in 2023 about anyone being able to win WDC in a car of that tier that Red Bull had
However, they now have a car of that tier and they're not winning everything by as large of a margin as they should br
Holy moly lol
An upcoming legend surrounded by legends
Hard to believe that's Damon Hill, he looks like a baby girl there
At such a young age it’s very hard to differentiate. Especially if a baby boy has a lot of hair
But that is Damon hill. I saw he quote tweeted the photo, so it has to be real
That's fair then. He was a cute baby
And yeah at rhat age it is hard to tell
This is pretty great
The details are pretty great
It's cool how this is in the constructor's winning order too in Hungary
@granite tangle do I jump onto the ship as its sinking?
woah I would also apply
As much as they struggle, I love Alpine
I loved Renault's F1 and I love Alpine by extension
Something I've noticed with the F1 teams is that every F1 team has a YouTube channel except for Alpine
Alpine just has the actual car maker channel and the BWT sponsor
But no actual BWT Alpine YT account
I may be able to venture a guess as to why
Because their Instagram account is already filled with only argientiian comments
https://x.com/formulafakers/status/1954248523710619718 @severe spindle bad news for haas
twitter is funny today
i wonder how this guy is doing
OH NOOOO
THE HUMANITY!
Jehehe, would be interesting to find oiut
Folks made so much of fun of the man for slipping
@glacial pine
Finally max Verstappen in a good car!!!
Hell yeah
shave man
