group c was even set up cause they wanted the brands to go across too and race in both
Which while a good thing in theory, it ended up being revealed that it wasn't a matter of choice, every manufacturer and team HAD to adapt
And at the end of the day, Motorsports only happens as long as it is profitable
And it is only manufacturers who already make F1 engines competing, then that limits the whole class by alot
Regardless of how many wins Audi swept in all of its years of competing in Endurance racing, it never brought them as great of an exposure as F1 would
Hence they gave up on every other racing venture, just to pursue their F1 future
Now it's just ABT
Though I do wonder if Audi has actually left them, or if it's just a name change
Well Yamaha is building a new power train for them.
I had a sim racing game idea that used Trans Am cars
hehe, it's indeed like the more extreme twin brother of NASCAR
While NASCAR does host road course races in every season, the fact that Trans Am takes the idea of silhouette racing, and takes it so such an extreme, while also allowing some other racing classes, makes Trans Am so endearing for me
i would love the idea of an approchable track racer with a big focus on race cars and various racing series, giving the significance of each
While Trans Am is certainly not the only racing series represented in my game idea, there are plenty of its tracks available to race on
Sebring
Road America
Watkins Glen
I would love that
Circuit of the Americas
Even Ozarks which featured in the series for one year and one year only
Hell yeah, more lesser known tracks
Hell, even circuits which these cars don't race around
The Missouri Ring as the locals call it
The greatest technical challenge in the United States, said to pose a aimilar challenge to even the Nurburgring itself
Nearly 4 miles in length
Opened in 2021 and since then its activity has been harmed by the COVID-19 pandemic
that's a big hinderance indeed
Lamborghini Super Trofeo raced there tho!!1!
Man that's sick
I'm still working on this track racing game idea but I may have created updates wayyyy too far in the future lol
And that's before we even get into the over 1800 cars in the game, including from motorsports that are probably never gonna be outside of their respective game franchises
Hell yeah, I'd welcome that with open arms
F1 fans sometimes bewilder me
Like back in 2019 or so, everyone made fun of Gasly for his 2nd Red Bull seat
Then in 2024, everyone made fun of Checo for his 2n red Bull seat
Then same happened with Laweson and only took until Yuki for it to be noticed
Same story with Albon before this
Like damn, F1 fans can be so short sighted
They made fun of 5 world class drivers for driving a shitbox
And then faulting them for failing to live up the impossible standards of Max Verstappen
I'd argue Max is the one that needs to be sent to another team
Maybe they'd learn to not base their entire team around a single driver
well while i agree with you that albon and gasly didnt deserve the hate (i especially like albon) you cant compare their situation to checo lawson yuki. Checo also got a chance to show what he can do in decent machinery (21,22,23). Lawson and Yuki got by far the shortest end of the stick
But then people forget what Checo was able to do earlier, and will be able to likely do in Cadillac
He's not some washed up nonsense, he was already losing to Verstappen on every racing basis anyway
And as for Lawson and Yuki, they barely get any time to actually adapt
And going from the allegedly worse RB car to the Red Bull car, it shows the top team isn't actually top team because of the car, but only because of Max
Of course I don't think all of these 5 drivers are equal
im not comparing the drivers more so the situations
But given each's circumstance, it's become increasingly obvious how their fault pales in comparison to the car's fault
albon for example could easily have stayed in redbull
but he absolutely hated his time there, and especially the car
They all do honestly
None of them have anything positive to say about it
Even Max dodges questions when asked about it
max just doesnt want to answer anything anymore
but truth is max wouldnt be faster in the junior rb car
I doubt he'd be slower either
He'll definitely be far less stressed out than he is right now
Part of why he doesn't wanna talk in interviews at all anymore, besides the fact that in 2023 he did nothing BUT interviews back to back, is because of the 2025 struggle he's been going through
from the Spain shamble, to the Silverstone situation
All and all, Max is just not happy with the state of Red Bull, and Red Bull cannot afford him to be upset because he is the only reason they're seen as competitive
Never let it be said Marko was a good team owner
marko is one of the reasons max aint leaving lol
i mean they got 8 championships
every team has to fall off sometime
Yeah but every team is eventually washed, and Red Bull is more washed than ever
even mercedes did in 2022
Without Adrian Newey, without Horner, and without Honda
They're literally nothing
It serves no better intention for Max, who's considered the best driver on the grid, to not sign on with a better team with a better future prospect
So that maybe Red Bull will actually have a reason to develop properly rather than rely on one or two factors to have things go well for them
Of course, I can't pretend like I know how the internals of Red Bull are actually going, but given the circumstances, I can't also say that they're gonna be any good for some time
THey've already fallen so hard from 2024, it feels like this may only be the beginning
And their past confirms this too, because they only start doing well when drivers like Vettel or Max start coming by
🚨 | Max Verstappen will be without long-time race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase this weekend, who won't be in Spa due to personal reasons.
[@ErikvHaren]
Again…
GP is quiet quitting
I noticed something with the 2025 cars compared to 2024
They all have more color now
Guess weight saving isn't as big of a factor anymore
I approve massively
pretty sure FIA mandated it lol
FIA actually did a good mandate for once. I'm proud
Yeah they realised cars looked really tough to tell apart on TV
Indeed
I'll say, I liked Alpine's black
But I realized it was just for weight saving, I was disappointed
These are F1 cars
They're race cars
Theyre running billboards
They need to be bright, stylish and colourful
Lots of teams really struggled to hit the minimum weight with the 2022 regs change
Yeah from.what I hear that gave Alfa a bit of an edge since they were the only one able to be down on weight
It's crazy how difficult it was for teams to.adapt to the 2022 regs
I hated the 2024 cars
I hope 2026 regs last longer
The Ferrari was the only good looking one
I agree
And while some cars like Mercdes, Mclaren and Red Bull haven't changed
Others have and they look good
Espiecally Alpine, Haas and Aston
I hope all the livery designers get together to make sure there's minimal colour scheme Crossover.
I'd like to see what flavor each can pull off
please be approved
that area of cars, racing in monaco
peak dirt 3 experience
Please please please
I’m always surprised how affordable spa is compared to other circuits, even though it’s in my opinion one of the most beautiful tracks and places to attend
@pale tinsel when do your upgrades start working
ive been nonstop hearing about them for a week
but i dont really see them in effect here
That was racable in Dirt 3? Damn that's awesome
There were stands in Las vegas which costed like 30 times that lol
yes and it was absolutely awesome. Of course that includes the focus in picture with the livery
And you couldn't eve see the track
Awww, man now I wanna play dirt 3
Everyone keeps saying Dirt 3 and 2 are awesome, and I can see why
you absolutely should. The game from my experience can run on anything, you probably have a chance to run a 2011 game right?
Likely Belgian government keeps a tight hand in the price regulation
Which is good to hear, being able to attend this circuit for a F1 race for this cheap is incredible
Yeah I have run games from at least 2013 to 2015
Dirt 3 would run no problem
then you absolutely must try it i cant understate how much i love it
It's the same base and engine as Grid 2008 as well, ans I can run that no problem
by far my favorite all time rally game
Really? Damn that's really high praise
and it has rallycross and gymkhana on top
ive been playing online with a friend of mine this past month, we are genuinely having a blast
you dont see 2011 games with working servers anymore, but it does.
This is one thing Codemasters did right
absolutely, love that old grid and dirt servers are up
Every single game they made, after the main servers went out, they made private servers for players to be able to indefinitely experience the online
hopefully EA doesnt notice it anytime soon XD
Even as far as Grid Autosport
grid 2 still works too
im saying cause autosport is newer
Yeah I am saying Autosport still works too
anyway, back to f1 for a bit
hamilton is OUT in SQ1
tsunoda managed Q2 happy for him
antonelli also did not manage a lap, chaos
When is it happening? tommorow?
the sprint should be in place of FP3 so tomorrow
then quali for the race day after tomorrow
Exellent, after such a long drought of no F1, I will get 2 for the price of 1
its a great circuit so seeing more of it is good
Absolutely
I feel like this is a circuit Sauber will do well at
Very power focused
Not main qualifying so totally irrelevant, the Sprint format should dropped for next year, people who think it's "better" than 3 practice sessions have the most invalid opinions to ever exist
sauber are suffering champagne headloss right now
unsafe release on hulkenberg
and then releasing him on top of another car for his last lap
so hulk is out, 17th
Damn, hope Gabi can do a bit better
And knowing Hulk, he'll manage to get into points
he always qualifes near the back
as far as im aware FP2 doesnt give championship points whereas sprint does. So its pretty relevant
you dont like it thats fair
but lets not kid ourselves xd
TO be fair I expected this. The 3rd with podium was an exception, not their rule. So I don't expect them to suddenly come first here or something
But knowing their good streak, they can manage points
And given their car is, as you said, the most speed focused car of the lot, Spa will likely beneift them
But damn man, poor Hamilton
His time with Ferrari has been the lowest he's ever been in F1
FP2 is more important than Sprints, Practice Sessions will always be more worthy than Sprints ever will be
Also Sprints are for entertainment purposes, they don't affect the main race at all regardless if they offer points
Well you say that like entertainment isn' the point of Motosport in the first place
plus, even the drivers don't mind the sprint format
Verstappen hates them, and yet he's always won them, not this year however
drivers are split on sprints
but as long as they are there
they cant be irrelevant
Sprints increase the risk of disqualifications because you only have 1 practice session and you can't change much despite Sprints being before main qualifying
holy shit Ferrari is having a horendous time
Meanwhile, Aston is actually kind of shining
7th for Stroll and 4th for Alonso, crazy
They'll be irrelevant, their novelty wore off in 2023
which shakes things up and is good for viewers
so as long as im not in an f1 car driving
why would i act like i dont care
lewis clearly cares loads from what i can see in his interview, he clearly knows the upgrades didnt do shit for the car
Because he's a socially awkward person these days, it's like championships have made him flip personalities
He's become complacent somewhat
too used to winning
That is quite sad honestly
He really was counting on this weekend
Also it won't be sad that Spa will be biannual because Spa has never been a "permanent" staple, what about the years when F1 race in Zolder or whene they didn't race in Belgium at all, as recently as 2006, and Spa is too dangerous for F1, too many people have died or been seriously injured in recent years
you really are the master of unpopular opinions aren't you?
This is why he's socially awkward, I think he needs to realise that there's life beyond just racing, F1 isn't just driving the car and then going home
Damn Tsunoda in 5th
irrelevant but it looks to me that piastri is becoming faster and faster that guy
and incredibly consistent now too
he may be running away with the championship from now on
Spa is dangerous and has never been a "permanent" staple, it's not untouchable
I wouldn't speak too soon
i can speak too soon all i want, i do not care who of the two wins it
i would understand either outcome
Piastri isn't Alex Palou
i just think piastri has developed a fuckton since melbourne
Also Piastri timed deleted so too soon
I think he already is lol
I wanna see what others do
Leclerc looks promosing
Even so, his championship isn't a certainty, he's not Palou
But I doubt it'll stay
first smart thing redbull did, adding downforce to the car
Damn, Max and Leclerc crushed the Mclarns
Hadjar holy crap
NORRIS OUT????
HAAS! Holy
Bordello!
Hehe
I am glad to use 2 screens
Well done from Gabi too
Sainz seems to be finally catching a break
Maybe Williams has been. Doing some stuff
New Zealand F1 stream lets gooooo
williams got a huge upgrade i think
Didn't Williams say they weren't doing that this year?
Guess they lied about not doing anything for the 2025 car
Pfffft
Hispanic rage
Also Holy alonso is scary with mustsche
Is there gonna be another qualifying?
SQ3 I imagine?
yeah
It's interesting how the new qualifying format works
Back then it was just get out on track, do a time and done
Now you have 3 different qualifyings
Gotta miss it to go to work.
2 adverts on NZ sky F1 for visiting Australia lmao
it exists to solve the issue of everyone not going out till last possible minute where maximum rubber has been laid down
That's actually smart, good tinking from FIA
Speaking of FIA, they've just continued Formula E exclusivity on all electric power for a couple of decades
It's the exclusivity section that is interesting. It means the FIA won't support another world championship single seater going electric until earliest 2049
Which keeps F1 doing... Something else for the next 25 years
Oooh that's wat it means
Guess that gives ideas
is the audio dsynced?
haha, that's funny
Someone held a max banner with mercedes outfit
1 lap showdown
Damn, Gabi's sister is pretty
Heh, haas compared to Force india
everyone's coming out at once
It seems like nearly every team sent at least 1 driver into SQ3, pretty cool
okay here we go
Norris has a purple sector 2
1.41 for Norris
Verstappen topped Norris
And Piastri did it
Damn, poor Gabi
as per my prediction lol
Yeah but it's not dead cert
Seems like Norris is going gain
It's crazy that Ocon's 5th
That haas is back to its 2019 era
pffft, I love how the announcer roasts Oscar's deadpan-ness lol
I like Max' new helmet
I will say, the difference between LEclerc and Lewis' performance is shocking
it looks amazing i agree
Yeah i was never a fan of his white and orange helmet
i liked it with the suzuka suit
Yeah it works better when the suit matches the color
but this one with the regular blue overalls looks absolutely fire
Indeed, it is fantastic
Oh OScar actually set a new Spa lap record
That's impresssive
it was supposed to be a special helmet for redbull ring
but since he got assasinated by kimi
he kept it lol
That helmet was supposed to used for Spa, not just Red Bull Ring but all races where the Orange Cult is the most prominent
It is, you barely see anything as it is

ok last one @granite tangle we have claimed max verstappen
We got a Max Verstappen fatwah before GTA6 , I have truly seen it all in life
I like this new trend
Pfffft
I mean he ain't wrong I guess
that does not inspire me
Sprint race about to begin
I kind oif feel bad for Colapinto
His bad streak continues
Super max come on
He;s crazy
Piastri couldn't pull away
Russel is trying hard
why is the ranking graphic not open
oh there it comes
interesting how Oscar is the fastest lap and yet not catching up
oh no Ferrari's having problems
Jesus how is Max this fast
Even with DRS Oscar isn't coming close
Jesus christ that's aggressive
Jesus what happened to SSainz
he was 0.9 on Ocon, now he's nearly 12 seconds
Oh my bad, it was something else
It's a Sprint so it doesn't count, he won't be back for a while
Leclerc drove well especially on lap 1, but the McLaren is such a rocket ship
Redbull was running low downforce so max was the fastest top speed wise
But between the Ferrari and McLaren on high speed Leclerc had no chance
Dropped by 4 seconds just after being overtaken
Sprints should be non championship or just killed off all together
Also get Crashapinto out of the sport for good, he's a complete waste, money shouldn't be talking if you don't have talent which he doesn't and never has
Indeed that mclaren is so fast
Must have had some insanely low downforce
I really don't understand how Max can drive that car that fast even with little grip and yet nobody else can
He really got dealt a bad hand
He hasn't made the most of it and he never will and he's too busy crashing than driving
I suppose
Its still unlucky
We'll see what 2026 holds for him
He won't be there in 2026, he won't be there after the summer break, Alpine wasted their time replacing Doohan with him, besides we're beyond the 5 race experiment and he's still not done anything significant
It's not "unlucky" if he's dogshite
He won't get pole, Sprints mean nothing
He'll still be up there most likely
Track limits need to be sorted out at Spa, it's a joke
next race is our race
Spa needs reworking because its track limits are crap, how can a time be deleted at Eau Rouge, Spa is no longer the spectacle it used to be
And also Verstappen winning the "Sprint" isn't the "beginning" of the new era of Red Bull, the new era being with the main race, Sprints don't count and never will count
Radillion needs serious reprofiling
such a negative you are
Sadly power was out, so I didn't get to watch qualifying
Looking at the results however
holy shit
Leclerc pulling the car into 3rd while Hamilton doens't even manage a top 10, I am starting to get Red Bull vibes from that car
But holy crap
Alsono and Stroll
Down at the bottom, that's insane
Also, how the hell is Albon in 5th while Sainz is all the way down
This qualifier was ridiculous
It was stupid track limits at Radilion
So that's the reason
Well, if nothing else, Colapinto did alright relatively
No he didn't, he just exists
qualifying ahead of a Mercedes and both Astons ain't too bad
Antonelli's having a real bad day
Both in sprint and now in qualifying
But it's Crashapinto, it's not impressive
i love this kid
cultLH is beefing with a kick sauber driver 😭
https://vxtwitter.com/MSportQuotes/status/1949123750831812773 @pale tinsel motorsport bollocks have been on a centel run lately
Also TikTok people are stupid, they actually believe Mick hasn't changed since 2022 and that Perez Bottas lineup is the best for Cadillac
Perez and Bottas will not work at Cadillac especially as they're a new team coming in
Unreal
I don't see why it wouldn't work
They're a new team, they need to priortize experienced drivers to help them develop
It's what Mercedes did when they hired Michael Schumacher
Plus it ain't like Mick is entirely off the table
People online already write him off and think he doesn't learn
THese are the same F1 fans that called Gasly, Albon and Perez washed when they raced at RB
So It's not like their opinion really counts
They need 1 experienced head, not 2, also they were both No.2s to Hamilton and Verstappen so there's likely to be tension on who will be No.1 of the No.2s
Vallteri is the least problematic driver of all time
So I doubt there'd be such tension
Gasly has totally blown staying with Alpine and Perez wasn't able to redeem himself, not even in Baku or Mexico City, Alex is the only true one to come out the other side to a much better environment
It's all about luck
Yeah but Perez has form when challenged by a teammate equal to him
Of course
But as we know
Cadillac isn't gonna be challenging anything in their starting season
They are not in any state to be arguing about scoring points
First 1 or two seasons will be mostly just tuning the team up
Then they can get a more robust form going
Cadillac need 1 experienced head and a No.2 that won't cause tension for the first few years, which is why Perez/Schumacher lineup would be the neccessary lineup, also it would give Mick the chance to redeem himself properly rather than being kicked to the kerb, that era of Haas wore off so much by the time 2023 rolled around
I assume Mick will be their reserve driver
That's more likely to Zhou given his Ferrari and Graeme Lowdon connections
Possibly, but we'll see
Also it's hardly aura aspiring for a new team to have 2 drivers in their mid 30s especially when there's a whole load of younger drivers either waiting for the big chance (i.e. Crawford, Dunne, Vesti, Pourchaire, Aron etc) or a chance to return and right the wrongs (i.e. Mick, Jacko etc), also a new team "young and energetic" if their lineup's average is 35/36 doesn't do much for inspiration, especially when they're both at the end of their careers even though both are currently out, this is why youth and experience is needed, Haas, Sauber and Mercedes have that for example
Those same teams had to have experienced drivers for their moments of struggle
That same Haas had Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg as their drivers
Yeah but that was at the end of the Steiner era, the start of the Komatsu era properly began this year with Esteban and Ollie as their replacements
it's always going to need reinventing of course
https://x.com/adamcooperF1/status/1949342565859209293 @severe spindle its gonna be fun
spa in the rain is gorgeous to look at
Jesus, it was so dry yesterday and now it is so wet. This will be a decent equalizer in allowing the slwoer teams to do better
It's not so much that they're silent, but the loud shrickong noise they make
By the way, nice, you've attended a Formula E event
Thats the tires SCREAMING on the ultra grip surface they put down in here. But the motor whine is louder than I expected. Louder than the mid tier Cayman race cars you see at the nurburgring
I'm so hyped to be here!!!
Already bumped into Mitch Evans at Costa 🤣
Really? Hot damn
Taht's rather cool
The green one is Sauber lol
Lmao
Now that is not me speaking on a Motorsport side of things
Wholesome ☺️
New Red Bull boss, Laurent Mekies, catches up with Racing Bulls' Liam Lawson before hugs with Alan Permane!
#F1 #BelgianGP https://t.co/UJW5C4Gd4c
But pretty much everyone seems to be more comfortable around Mekies
he's a nice guy, I like him
Yuki in particular seemed very happy for himto be his team boss again
Tell you what, the way these cars get off the line really is insane. It's like an elastic band when they did their 4wd practice starts
This is a bit better you can hear the twin motor regen before the tires peak out my phone mic
That’s a weird stat
Double Jaguar through to the duels 💪💪💪
Jaguar threw it all away. Mitch Evans under the bus to let Cassidy to the pole position duel and he lost. Nick looked ready to cry after letting the team down
F2 has to be rigged for Verschoor because Alex just got given a 10 second penalty post race and has lost the win, screw Richard Verschoor, he's too dogshit for F1, 5 seasons in F2 is pathetic
More horrifying, someone in the queue for the burger van has clearly never washed their red bull t shirt ever it's so stinky
Is that your camera footage
Yeah ✌️
The TV Director needs to stop cutting to Crashapinto
Well this is annoying
I love the fact that it cut to him and then it read "Pierre Gasly"
THank you TV dirctor, very helpful
the tv director has to point the camera to something as long as nothing is happening in the circuit lmao
I am starting to think that Sugar has something agasint Colapinto
And it's beyond just his issues
Feels like it's from prejudice
oh i dislike colapinto too
i just understand its just people doing their job
same thing with SkysportsUK being completely biased to british teams and drivers exclusively
its their national broadcast, can you blame them
I think Sugar's just being dramatic
Yeah it is
I'm watching the low res server
I have a question
Is Formula 3000 still going?
Is it under Formula 3 and 4?
How does it compare to World series Formula Renault?
No one except Argentina likes him and even then not everyone in Argentina is convinced by him
They get things wrong just as much if not more than Sky
ive been watching them for half a year now and theyve not gotten something wrong
I won't stop until he, Briatore and Alpine are all out of F1 for good
if they do make a mistake the correction is immediate
unlike sky that has croft who just says anything and brundle has to call him out on his bullshit half the time
They're not slick
Jesus
That's the charm of Sky, F1 TV is too stone cold and serious and corporate, and Alex Jacques is such a cringe commentator at the best of times, he was good in F2, he's not good for F1, this is why I watch Sky's highlights rather than the official F1 highlights since 2023
It's also why I barely if not ever watch Channel 4 anymore
Sky will always be better than F1 TV, F1 TV bow down to them not the other way round
I won't back out, and it's not prejudice me hating him, it's facts, he's a flop job, and he chokes and constantly crashes the car and costs the team millions in repairs
He didn't start the season, and he'll not be there in 2026
We'll see
French Supertourisme Alpine A610
He won't, he's only there because of the money
Alosno with the mustache is kind of funny
Well this is interestinbg
F1 Twitter are still stupid, they need to realise that Oscar's championship isn't a certainty
People who say Lando is "incompetent" would struggle in they were in the same situation as Lando, hypocritical irony is stupid from F1 Twitter
You sound stupid, you sound like every F1 Twitter account
you love to see it
No you sound stupid, stfu
such a negative Nancy you are 😂
F1 Twitter needs reforming, not that kind of reform
f1 twitter needs to go extinct
Oscar bottles it just as much as Lando and his championship isn't a certainty
Oscar winning the championship isn't a certainty, get the ideology out of your head
when did i ever say it was ya dafty
You're a bottle job of a human being
It's not, he can still lose that lead, Oscar can make mistakes so stop acting like he's untouchable, he's not, just like Spa
fuckin hell our education system is fucked. you can't read for shit
when did i say it was a certainty
You act like it's a certainty, and I can read, I'm just allergic to your bullshit, go enjoy your Aussie leading while it lasts, which won't be for long when the summer break ends
yeah you're really on one mate
i don't even follow McLaren, Lando or Oscar
but you do you yeah
i should rename #1397872728845058068 to Aimee and Sugar Schizo Posting
Oscar is good but he's still overrated
Just remember Oscar makes just as many mistakes as Lando and don't act like Lando doesn't learn and can't handle pressure because you sound stupid
Haas didn't score you bellend
No, stop acting like Oscar has it wrapped with bows
you don't get it through your thick dumb fucking skull do you? when the fuck did i say Oscar has it wrapped up? lando bottled the challenge for the win with a couple mistakes yes. But at no fucking point did I say that Oscar has got this championship wrapped. Get Landos cock out your mouth for 5 seconds and open your eyes and read before saying anything before you make yourself look dumber than Franco Colapinto you daft cunt
You just act like it because you love it when Lando bottles it, you are F1 Twitter if it was a person, and I no longer care about what you say because you are nothing to me, you're just another fish in a radioactive pond
Good race
woah ive never seen that one alpine meant for racing
looks very good
Hehe, indeed. I love it as well
You mean nothing to any of us either
You mean nothing to me either
You can see them now
You're blocked as well, and it's he
average f1 argument
anyway sugarfree cupcake, time to shut up you're poisoning the Motorsport chat with your negativity
That's how I see your messages as well now

Are you for real?
You do realise you're in no position to say that right?
i don't watch much Moto gp but when i do, marc marquez was always that guy
MotoagP is crazy
Fandom is crazier tha f1 fans too
Hehehe
some of those angles Marquez hits when he turns
also, know the story of Romano Fenati?
Can't say i do
probably the dirtiest MotoGP rider ever
possibly even the dirtiest racer ever
came to prominence for pulling the brakes of another bike while they were moving
Romano Fenati loses his cool in the Moto2 race of the San Marino GP and grabs the brake of Stefano Manzi, who had earlier forced him into the gravel. The BT Sport team think he should be banned for the rest of the season.

Jesus what a cunt
he's had loads of disciplinaries
Was he banned for this
this one got his next contract ripped up
Surely it isn't allowed
not immediately
I guess eventually at least
he announced his retirement from racing
and his license got revoked for the rest of the 2018 season
bear in mind this happened mid September 2018
back down moto3 for 2019
Im surprised he wasn't banned for life
me too
Just saying In F1 this would get you banned for life
Like how Pastor got banned out of Monaco
or at least no team would take you on effectively being banned
pastor somehow never got banned
Indeed
He did g3t banned, but Venezuela bailed him out
With a hefty cost
ohhh you're talking about his pre f1 career?
cause I don't recall him getting banned in f1 ever
Yeah he was banned in F3 I believe
In Monaco where he either didn't notice or ignored yellow flag from someone's crash and ran down a marshal
Seriously brutal
Made me feel bad
yeah hitting the Marshall should have had his license revoked too
Ah Wsr, my bad
It certainly would have in normal scenario
But Hugo Chavez backed him up
Bailed him out
found it
back was broken apparently
Jesus
Guy must have felt seriously bad seeing him return to Monaco so many more times despite doing something that would get anyone else banned for life
looks like it was papa maldonado and pdvsa that bailed him out by paying for the hospital bills and rehab for the marhsall
probably not
you know. just for the bait
An hour
Are you guys still arguing
nah, told him to fuck off and talked about motogp instead
mini is much more pleasant than that miserable cunt
Hehe, thank you zuu
Oh I’ve seen that guy lmao
Unlike him, I don't have a countryman in the race to get salty when he doesn't win
He's such a child
I mean, why would you compare 🤣 it’s not much of a hurdle
Actually yeah good point. it's probably more insulting to mini even make the comparison
sorry @severe spindle
much love ❤️
Anyway, quite a boring race
Im glad to be mentioned at all
yeah but the wet tyres don't exist remember
2ould have been interesting how many drivers would wipe out if they went out
alright i think that's enough lando referencing now
It happens
don't you dare jinx it
Midfield and behind’s visibility was like visiting Niagara Falls and going inside the waterfall 😭
From p18 to p7
Could have been an absolute pileup
Funny to think about but yeah as long as the pirelli wet is terrible
No wonder they can’t race
They embarras themselves
I'd argue that Hamilton ended up where he should have qualified tbh. and a good strategy call from Ferrari helped
I agree, he had bad luck wi5h qualifying
I'll say
good strategy and Ferrari in the same sentence in a positive light?
felt weird typing that
They did well to not bottle this race
Good work
yeah just couldn't get past. seems like its still a slippery car that williams
Not so sweet eh
Albon is maximising that car so much. Poor sainz man, he's just having such a bad time
Even worse for hadjar, from p8 to last
Imagine getting salty over your countryman, what a child
What did you do?
Ooooooo, now that's exciting
oh i can still ping him
Pfffft!
thought i was blocked
holy
and aslo whos that fucker in the blue car at the end
he didnt see the flag or smth??
not sure
hi @pale bridge

Lando Norris gets too much hate, but today his mistakes have cost him a chance of winning.
︀︀
︀︀Definitely bottled this one.
pffft
To be fair
Even if he didn't make those mistakes
it would have been extremelt difficult to make up tat difference
Oscar just had amazing tire mangement
you'll never guess who left
He actually left?
Perhaps the bulying went far
To be fair, his attitude was rather shitty
yeah don't need that negativity here
It's not even just the negativity
But rather how biased and unprodutive it all is
I didn't mind him staying around, but with that attiude, his days were numbered
And today he showe that very well
least i won't have to see colaspinto every two seconds
like i get he's not good don't need to see it every 2 bloody seconds
Pfft, yeah he won't mention his name in vain agan
Claims to hate him yet lives in his head rent free
And it's like he doens't even understand how F1 works
We have many drivers in F1 which take time and the right equipment to show their capablitiy
yeah definitely not. the British bias was real with that one
Colapinto hasn't had a proper season, just half and halfs with Williams and Alpine
two backmarker and mid-field teams
I wouldn't even be surpised if he actual hate for Colpainto stemmed from the general dislike between British and Argentinians
a williams that was slow and prone to crashes
and an alpine thats probably one of the worst cars on the grid being outdriven by gasly
Indeed, gasly is doing all he can and he can only get into points only half the time
Alpine really should have kept Doohan
Or at least kept both him and Colapinto on-board for season testings
Not just switching on the fly
doohan should have been allowed until the end of the season at least
I am actually surprised they didn't throw Colapinto out prior to Spa, I was fully expecting Bottas in that 2nd alpine
Exactly, or at the very least the summer break
guy has flavio briatore as his manager though, so he probably had it coming
It's jst unfortunate that his poor descision making still haven't changed
You know who also has poor career choices and has flavio briatore as their manager?
Fernando Alonso
hehehe, it's almost a pattern
TO be fair, sometimes "choices" don't exist
You just get given what you're given
Isack Hadjar, according to you who wins a race between Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton?
︀︀
︀︀Isack: “Lewis.”
︀︀
︀︀And between Lewis and Verstappen?
︀︀
︀︀Isack: “You know what? Even I don’t know. But alright, I’ll say Lewis, he’s my guy.”
︀︀
︀︀Between Lewis and Michael Schumacher?
︀︀
︀︀Isack: “That’s tough, but Lewis. He’s my generation. I’m racing with my idol, so yeah Lewis.”
︀︀
︀︀Okay, and between Lewis Hamilton and Alain Prost?
︀︀
︀︀Isack: “I love Alain Prost, but still Lewis. But honestly, Alain is a legend.”
︀︀
︀︀Alright, and between Lewis Hamilton and Dominic Toretto from Fast and Furious?
︀︀
︀︀Isack: “Well… family comes first, Dominic” 😭…
you know who else had the same combo? Nelson Piquet Jr
Jarno Trulli
Heikki Kovalainen
Mitch Evans seemed so happy this morning in Costa this morning... I imagine he's ready to murder his teammate after that chaos
https://x.com/Mikk_MV33/status/1949522411394601179 @pale tinsel
too bad he wont see this
wtf
this cant be redbull
Oh god loo
Its ridiculous how horrible and toxic that environment is that this is considered an upgrade
Horner would have probably thrown a slur or two out
i mean it is an upgrade no matter how you see it, a TP going out of their way to say they screwed up is rare in general
Mekies seems like a nice guy i wish the best to him
Of course but it isn't unusual
Other teams do it too
Iys just red bull who'd never accept responsibility
yeah in this case its something ESPECIALLY redbull wouldnt do
but its good to see
yuki deserves the support
if he got it earlier he'd have found his groove by now
Possibly, he showed improvement this race
Mood wise espiecally
I remember at Spain he was looking like he was suffering depression
Absolutely
And indeed it is good to see it at last
God bless this man
cant blame him
he knows he can be fast
he knows he would make Q3 in a vcarb
and yet he couldnt make it past Q1 for forever seems like
Indeed, I bet he didn't expect the Red bull to be so different to the RB
The car should be the Same on paper
Yet it very much isn't
Apparently this race was badly received and I get both sides of argument
We all like seeing races in the rain
And if some drivers have to die, so be it
But being fir real, safety is always priority
But some fans are right to point out that waiting the rain out led to many drivers' setups which was for a wet race being for null
thats a very good argument
and also people are not mad that drivers wont die
they are more so dissappointed that f1 cars now just are not capable of racing under heavy rain
tires are one thing sure, but ground effect cars especially suck in the rain
It's a valid argument
fia needs to consider this so F1 cars aren't built for perfect conditions
The funniest part about the tires is
They have wet tires
But they won't ever use them
wet tires are designed in a way that produces even more difficult conditions for the driver following
they throw absurd amounts of water
so when they do put the wets on, its basically a race on who is more suicidal
Exactly
Which kind of just defeats the point
At that point t they may s welll race on slicks
Why do they even have wet tires
Regardless
As the saying goes
"That's just racing"
Hardly ever goes one's way
pirelli just has to produce a slightly better intermediate
less durability, more grip
then theyd use em
but FIA keeps telling them to make a proper wet tire for heavy rain, but those tires are so compromised that noone ever uses them..
Fia is stupid sometimes
By the way, I think it's believable that Ferrari will finish 2nd in constructors
Neither mercedes nor red bull have the consistency
Which is funny
I think it’s gonna be close but if Hamilton finds his groove they can
Zuu said mercedes will eventually overtake but russel states no hope
I’d say the funniest thing is that it’s a battle of what no2 driver finds his consistency
I think they can yeah, even if Lewis keeps finishing top 6
Tsunoda, Hamilton or Antonelli?
Or Sainz
Hamilton is the most likely
Based on experience alone yeah
Hehe, indeed
Despite everything
Despite the nightmare
Despite having no wins
They're gonna be 2nd
I think the redbull is quite better
If it wasn’t setup for rain Charles would have no chance
Ferrari took a massive strategy gamble and it somehow all worked for them
I don't know
Low downforce, PU change for Hamilton
Max said he couldn't catch
Yeah because Charles was running less wing
I know but still
Charles could not drive that car in the rain
He would have the same issue as max in silverstone
So the Ferrari with an engine with less top speed was outrunning the redbull in the straight
He was struggling
So max was rightfully pissed that they red flagged the race for an hour until it was just dry enough to fuck him over
Both are super talented
Charles deserved the podium
Just a different approach to the race is all
I wanna be honest, I hate saying any driver is talented
It means nothing anymore
All the drivers are
And only thing that determines anything is the car
Stroll could be a WDC if he was in a Mclaren
It means nothing when we see the gap is this huge
Yeah ofc but the word talented in f1 is I guess used to say someone is capable of a WDC instead of “just” being a mainstay driver on the grid
Mclaren completely busted the regulations this year
Many people doubt that. I’m sure they’ll debate you strongly on that
I mean you put lando Norris in a McLaren last year and he couldn’t win
It's all about the car
Every time it is
Since the dawn of Open wheel racing
It's always been.abouy the car
I think at any time in f1 10/20 drivers let’s say are WDC capable
Cause 2024 mclaren wasn't this good
The rest either are not yet, or were in the past but not now
Does that make sense?
To be fair, I get it
Then there’s the bottom 2ish drivers at some periods in the sport that are blatant pay drivers and could never win
Actually Kyvat said that too
He said 10 of the drivers can be WDC
Most of the rest can win races
The rest are Mazepin
Ironic since he's his countryman
I completely agree with him
He may have been the torpedo guy during his time in f1
Same, and this is why Max or Leclerc are irrelevant
But he didn’t suck at all in the grand scheme of things
He was overambitious almost always and that made him a little dangerous
He made Ricciardo look like some irrelevant moot
But he wasn’t bad per se
He had a champion's mind, safe to say
Sadly
If you're schumscher, you're excused
If you're anyone else, you're not
God I hate F1 double standards sometimes
Let's be real, part of why people hated Kyvat was because he was Russian
Michael was not the only one no
Sports are always prejudiced agasint them
I promise that every single multi champion was at some point
Oh of course
Senna and Prost, Hamilton vs Alonso and Rosberg, Vettel was an absolute villain
Verstappen more recent times
It’s a thing
Indeed, ironic how these racers are hated when they win and then seen fondly when.they lose
I personally like those type of drivers. Others prefer the gentlemen
I can respect both opinions
So Alonso
Or lose
Going for pure enjoyment
A true purist of the sport
He said it himself that it's just a hobby
Yeah Kimi too when he was still there
Alonso as well espiecally nowadays
Yeah first driver that came to me
I think he realizes that he's no longer WDC material
So he's just focusing on taking a chance
Alonso is very confident, I don’t know if he doesn’t believe in himself
I wanted so much to believe, but truth is, he's struggling and is low on confidence
In the team, not himself
So in his words
Alonso is the type of guy that would put the drivers he mentors first, and himself just behind them
"I mean we try to do whatever, but I don't care much about Grosjean"
Indeed, hence why he's happy for Gabi
The fruits of his labor almost
I don’t know if you haven’t noticed but apart from the hadjar Hamilton family in F1 , there’s the Alonso verstappen bortoletto one XD
Hehe, indeed
I like all 3 of them so I’m happy they support each other
And if Webber was still driving, the Oscar webber family
Well I can say for sure Webber would go to war to bring Oscar the WDC
It's kind of amazing that Alonso has outlived all his peers
Kimi and Webber espiecally
The McLaren garage is very obviously at war right now and thats 100% webber not letting Oscar get the short end of it
Pfft
Webber is like Alonso, chill dude
But he's not gonna let Oscar get the short end of the stick
Webber was traumatized by the devil (Red Bull Sebastian vettel)
Hahaha, for sure
And the one thing he hates the most is bias towards no1 drivers
I mean it's understandable why it happens
But yeah his frustration is understandable too
Very logically they will be pursued
We'll see if they last towards 2026
I’m not sure when they’ll have to resign
And every driver will WNAT to get in that dominant Mclaren seat
First contract that runs out will tell the whole story
In that case I think McLaren will choose a less ambitious driver instead
A rookie, or someone not comparable with their no1
I mean Oscar just seems chill, so maybe they'll keep him
And then get.. I don't know
Oscar seems chill but far from
No driver on grid right now seems suited
Oscar is like webber jr ironically enough
He's an aussie so we know it's an act lol
But the second time around won’t go like the first
If he whiffs that he’s going to be put on a second driver seat he’s leaving
His act has only fallen a couple of times
I doubt there'll be any seat available
As a personality outside of the car yes, when the visor goes down I disagree
Alpine will probably want him back lol
Yeah but that's every racer, bar Kimi
Nah there are certain drivers where you can tell that they are different
I don't know
There’s drivers that will always race fairly wheel to wheel
When the visor goes down
And play by the rules
Everyones a little bit more aggressive
Some more than others
Same with Fernando even
And then there’s drivers that will bend the rules as long as they get a millisecond of an advantage
He's very hot blooded when things dont go his way
Antonelli possibly
Talks are inconsistent
Yeah but when you have Toto say we are committed to George and Kimi
The verstappen negotiators won’t like that statement
In that case, it's less likely yeah
So why go and say it in risk of ruining the talks
And lets be real
Unless they’ve fallen already
Max will probably see no benefit either
Mercedes isn't gonna recover
May as well stay with what he's familiar with
No one knows
Of course
Hell, Red Bull may.bottle hard next season since they're making their own engine now
Its a risk for sure
Complete gamble
Who knows, maybe Ferrari will dominate 2026 and break their curse
Maybe Alpine will be winning races
But being for real
Top 4 teams right now all seem to have about equal chance to either be good for 2026 or be bad
Drivers won't really split the difference
I do wonder if Charles will consider changing team
