There is also "woman with crush on Carlos Sainz" in one scene. No other woman on screen is a character thoug
Folks have said that the initial Daytona Indycar scene felt better done than the F1 scenes
Which is... honestly superbly ironic, given the title of the movie and it promoting what it wasn't to promote xd
Yeah I don't mean as characters
also, woman with crush on Sainz, that's just realistic xd
Nah Daytona was AMAZING. The secret was they just... Entered that car in that paint job to Daytona 24h and ran it and filmed it.
Man's probably the most handsome F1 driver of all time
Oh really? That explains why it feels much more real
That would play a huge role, no doubt
I would love to watch the movie to watch that scene alone
Not alot of knowledge on Indycar, so it'd help
It's a fun watch. I did have a good time in the cinema
My energy for at least 45% of it though
Fake news.
Real
lol
Hahaha
What an edit
That's understandable frustration
Formula E finally has a full house for the rookie testing at Berlin this weekend. Some interesting faces and some familiar faces
This is a test day for rookies
A few F2 drivers have made a sideways jump into formula E before. It wouldn't be unheard of.
Wow, there's alot more women in this than I expected
Prety cool teams too
Like F1, FE had more women racing in the early years. Simona De Silvestro (team Andretti at the end of Season 1 into season 2), Katherine Legge (Team Amlin Aguri for two races) and Michela Ceruti (team Trulli for four races in season 1) all drove, with only Silvestro managing to score points, but as the other two were in notably slow cars this isn't surprising.
Wait, team aguri and trulli?
Are these related to Suzki Aguri and Jarno Trulli?
Yes and yes
Trulli was made out of a failed attempt at a team by Drayson Racing
Formula E in its early years was like that.
I'll never forget watching Prost, Piquet and Senna racing together
Nah they were just drivers
Nico Prost, Bruno Senna and Nelson Piquet Jr
Oh a shame then, but still cool to see them tace
Understandable
It's still cool
Formula E is cool
Alain was on board with the Renault team, I'd assume in an advisory role with Nico racing.
Nelson jr won the whole championship and his his father refused to come to the final race to see if he'd win
He beat Buemi to the title by a single point
Maybe nelson sr is just a wanker or hates his son or didnt respect the (quite slow) formula e cars worth watching. Still rude
Definitely
He is known to be a bit of a wanker
Calling drivers names
Being generally bitter
He's still a 3 time WDC, a legend to be sure
But a less than ideal legend
Kind of accurate to Nelson himself then
Since his father didn't approve him racing either
So he ended up being the same to his son once he began being successful
Tell you what, the Wikipedia table for season 1 drivers standings is FASCINATING because 35 people raced that year
The incredible thing about Formula E
Is that every year's WDC is different
Keeps things very different to F1
Spec chassis and restricted power output. it was always going to keep things close
Only Vergne has won it twice.
And that's twice in a row with two different powertrains, once in the Gen1 car then the next year was Gen2
That's impressive skill
I see some amazing deserving women of a seat, and I also see Bianca bustamante
"To us, the V8 is happening. With the teams now, I'm very optimistic, happy about it."
Mohammed Ben Sulayem discussed the potential of V8s returning to F1 and the addition of a 12th team ⬇️
https://t.co/Bn9NXkQD6E
Someone is begging for voters !!!
Just seen this
I will be watching closely. Chadwick is getting the breath of experience across different things that will have lots of teams in lots of places looking at her.
V8 would be nice
Shouldn't even be too hard
Just use hybrid V8s
Hahaha
that Mclaren situation is true
Suffice to say, Kick's merch sales will shoot up
Suddenly, they went from the team everyone made fun of
To an underdog which they all wanna see win
It's almost exactly what happened with Haas that one time
The technical story of BMW’s return to DTM in 2012 with its revolutionary M3. This car completely changed not only DTM but also the GT500 class of the Super GT championship, as it created the new Class 1 even though it never actually raced as a Class 1 car.

Good video
it's interesting how the regs known today as Class 1 were all progenerated from this car
🔥 Why are F1 drivers like Charles Leclerc and Lance Stroll SLAMMING the 2026 F1 cars? 🏎️ Dive into the controversy surrounding Formula 1’s bold new regulations! From reduced downforce to heavy battery focus, we break down why these cars are being called “A Science Project” and why drivers say they’re no fun to drive. 🧪💨 Joi...
oh no! my steak is too juicy!
idk
Maybe, but the video seemed legit
THe concerns are understandable regarding the upcoming regulations
The cars are slippery and a bit smaller, which makes them more exciting in races, no doubt
I'm taking this image with me Furxy
But having so much of the power be down to the battery, and neeeding to battery manage especially in certain tracks
it does seem like a valid concern
np
we'll see
yep
They need bigger batteries. They haven't had big enough batteries since 2013
Nico Hulkenberg:
- Makes his own strategy, ignoring his team
- Gets his first F1 podium
- Refuses to elaborate further
https://t.co/gIkVjiZ4JN
THey also need better and more leinant manegment
But yeah better batteries are needed
Which I hope they add, rather than artifically keep away for the sake of "entertainment"
Really? He ignored the team? Guess the team is still struggling then
Guess Sauber is in a similar situation to Ferrari
A Driver has to both drive and also plan
I am annoyed by something
I keep wanting to play some F1 games
But the most moddable sim games I can't seem to run
F1 Challenge VB is far too big
And the games in the middle don't have many mods
I can't even find a way to download F1 2010
I am kind of stumped for options
hmm
Maybe I should get GTR 2 and mod that
is your pc powerful enough to emulate a ps2?
The biggest issue is also the fact that I don't have a wheel
And only the F1 codemaster games are playable with a controller
F1 Challenge just doesn't have any way for me to adjust for the steering to not throw around
making it difficult to give steering adjustment
It isn't sadly
But really, that's not got anything to do with my Specs
ik ik
PS2 emulation requires cores and CPU which i don't have
ps2 emulation can be tricky for some devices
Otherwise I can run PC games up to 2012 pretty easily
Especially my laptop
I've tried numurious times
I need a guide to understanding how accessible and moddable every F1 game is
And F1 Challenge mods are awful
They change the game's UI entirely
he didnt ignore them he just gave his input and his team followed
every single team rushed to box when the big group of verstappen and piastri pitted
I can see why it caused that
Hulk showed good wisdom
But he did still ignore the team orders
Suffice to say, this race was a one man show for Hulk then
Makes me feel disheartned honestly
Especially for the idea that Sauber would actually live up for the future GPs
lol
I'm kind of disappointed that Ricciardo hasn't sent even a tweet shouting out Hulk's podium
He's kind of left the whole thing so far behind that he doesn't even talk about it
Though I do need to ask, why did Ricciardo retire from F1 so early? Was he dropped or did he just not wanna bother
Considering many older than him still race, his career seemed short lived
Dropped plus ever since he joined McLaren teams have only treated him as horribly as possible
Not everything has to be public, most of the drivers with a not so nice exit to f1 drop the whole PR gimmick of doing everything publicly
I mean you see max for example congratulating Nico on his instagram, but do you really think he’s the one managing that? Same with every other social media and driver apart from a very few
I mean I guess
Why so?
got treated like shit at mclaren, they not only had a terrible car but actively destroyed ricciardo's confidence by showing massive favoritism (and according to some rumours going as far to sabotage him) towards a much younger promising lando norris
then he joined racing bulls and while he didnt look amazing he did nothing wrong either, and still got sacked without warning
I get the reasoning why he left Red Bull, but man he really should have stayed in hindsight
Renault was a decent move at the time though, but seeing them now absolutely not
@granite tangle
HUGE NEWS
APPARENTLY THE HORNY HAS BEEN AXED
❗️De bom is gebarsten bij Red Bull Racing. Teambaas en CEO Christian Horner is na ruim 20 jaar weggestuurd.
Personeel in Milton Keynes is zojuist ingelicht. #F1
^same guy that dropped the hamilton news
🚨 BREAKING
🏎️ Christian Horner has been sacked by his Red Bull Formula 1 team, according to reports
https://t.co/ZmgTSlOanB
CHRISTIAN HORNY GONE
Statement from Red Bull: Christian Horner has been sacked by Red Bull after 20 years as team principal. Laurent Mekies has been promoted from Racing Bulls to replace him as CEO.
BBC guys reporting it too, so its pretty much confirmed
CONFIRMED: Red Bull has sacked Christian Horner, replacing him with Laurent Mekies as CEO #F1
Red Bull has confirmed Christian Horner has been released from his role as team principal and CEO.
He will be replaced by Laurent Mekies. #F1
and there's the confirmation
@granite tangle Verstappen out?
BREAKING: Red Bull has released Christian Horner from his operational duties with effect from today and has appointed Laurent Mekies as CEO of Red Bull Racing.
FERRARI, RENEW FRED RIGHT FUCKING NOW.
DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT HORNER. DONT.
me rn
https://x.com/F1/status/1942880588199063747?t=RsCrQ-uZX6UecJX4eh52fg&s=19
can't be more official than this
That is really sad to hear
No wonder the man looked so broken in his final years
That is incredible, I never would have expected this
We all thought Max might leave, not Horner
Guess even he feels done with the Red Bull state
Imagine Tsunoda starts performing now
nah, Horner was sacked. He was pushed before he could walk so to speak
Darth Marko might have just orgasmed to death at this news
Allegedly Horner was gonna replace him with Vettel
Toto Wolff and Fat Brown rn
pffft, that's incredible
But honestly, I am really upset to see what's happening in Red Bull right now
Literally the most incompetent team on the grid
Excuse me?
They dominate for 4 seasons and then drop teh ball this hard
FUcking idiots run Red Bull I swear
And Red Bull is now on par with them
Plus, I'd recokon Ferrari isn't nearly as incompetent as either
2023, Red Bull dominates winning 23 of 24 races
2 years later
Newey, Wheatley, Marshall and Horner all gone
Verstappen possibly going
just 2 years it took
It goes to show that their past success wasn't something integral to their working
and was just due to buying the best of everything
and max just accidentaly being the world's greatest modern driver
Could have easily been someone else
Such is racing of course, it's about luck alot of the time
And theirs ran out
wonder how Marios processing this information
Where is Adrian Newey?
Where is John Wheatley?
Where is Rob Marshall?
Where is Christian Horner?
Where is Max Verstappen?
It took some time, but Red Bull is now nothing more than a group of lads who watch porn on each others’ laptops, headed by a fossilised, demented racist.
in other news
I HAVE THE CHRISTIAN HORNER GOOGLE DRIVE
such a romantic lmao
well seeing as i slept 30 minutes last night, i think to sleep 2 hours in the middle of the day is something i deserved
@pale tinsel https://x.com/formulafakers/status/1922219420719468997 THEY ARE BACK
@pale tinsel wait i just realized
man
youre gonna love this
christian horner to FERRARI !!!
Just imagine this scenario
Hamilton + Horner at Ferrari
Verstappen + Toto at Mercedes
#1373356149361086514 message
#1373356149361086514 message
hahahahha
sorry i mustve scrolled past that
and officially confirmed
i wonder if max will leave then cause its a weird situation
This is nearly as big as the hamilton to ferrari announcement
some sources say max "might stay" after horner sacking
also there's max's contract but the one who is even more jailed is GP
and if max leaves he for sure wants to take him with him
There's only 2 ways this has happened
Horner was sacked to keep the Verstappen camp onside
Horner was sacked because Verstappens out the door
ALL I'M SAYING IS
Ferrari has double agents all over the grid, ready to burn down teams if necessary
its like parents buying blue or pink for the baby
am i buying a tshirt with mercedes on it or red bull
Laurent Mekies now at Red Bull
James Allison at Mercedes
Andrea Stella at McLaren
Mattia Binotto at Sauber/Audi
David Sanchez at Alpine
Enrico Cardile at Aston Martin
all ill say is i never once blamed binotto and he for sure wasnt at fault in ferrari
oh no doubt
and look what the man is doing in sauber
they for sure have turned a big page around
you will have seen that
but Binotto was def not team principal material
Saubers probably more on Wheatley
Binotto isn't too much involved iirc, until it actually becomes Audi next year
he wasnt but he def was of great use before his promotion
outright sacking him was funny at best to me
Yeah he was the one who did the sus engines lmao
Imagine Red Bull having the hornys successor in their hands only to lose him to Sauber cause you didn't sack horner last year like they were supposed to
Used to be at McLaren
hes coming...
mclaren were shite and as soon as he left they started being good
🤣
you know you asked me if i would do it if i was in toto's shoes
i never thought to ask you the same, so I'm asking now
Would you?
I have the google drive and bloody hell
i dont answer because its unfair to ask a very biased person
youll get a very biased answer
and yet here i am, asking anyway
woah todays chat is quite alive
i would 100% trust max verstappen to bring mercedes back to glory instead of george russel yes
So you'd go Max and Kimi, drop george even after investing so much into his career and him being a solid front running driver?
apparently Alan Permane will replace Horner
Laurent Mekies
ohh
Permane replaced Mekies at VCARB
i read it wrong
So...
Aston Martin sack Cowell and hire Horner; Max goes with him; Verstappen, Horner, and Newey are reunited; Max wins another four titles and becomes the undisputed GOAT.
Stroll will be there too.
Christian Horner formula e rookie test WHEN!?!?!?
i'd literally sacrifice a vital organ to see the gpda group chat right now i'm not joking
ngl
same
are you sure you want him near so many women
It's formula e, if he gets weird they can just ram him
knowing christian horny
he'd probably like that
“Where is Horner going next?” HMP Belmarsh high security category A men’s prison in London
it sounds delusional but also, max is a 4 time world champion and basically same age as george, hes a veteran and young theres no other driver on the grid like that. hes also great with rookies and he could even help develop kimi even faster (imo kimi is very similar to young torro rosso max)
Is max Verstappen great alongside a rookie?
max has not had any issue ever with a teammate
it was the teammates that didnt want it
the only thing people bring up with the whole "max is a terrible teammate" gimmick is him being competitive and refusing to give (or give back) positions to teammates
The teammates didn't want to be in a car they couldn't drive.
I would KILL to see max have to fight against his teammate. I doubt that would be as graceful as McLaren this year
ricciardo and max were killing each other on track and at their worst they did not reach the friendliest rosberg hamilton race
and that rosberg hamilton team won just fine
Lewis and Nico did have mega history
Max and Ocon on a team together... Imagine the rancid vibes
Its incredible how it took 2 years for them to fall this hard from glory
Good lord Max is expensive
Aston will become Red bull 2.0
Someone suggested that Russel may go to Aston if Max goes to Mercedes
Honestly not terribly unlikely
I don't know if Stroll is planned for 2026 or not, but I think Russel would be a decent replacement for Fernando as well
I don't know if the man even wants to race anymore
This is the first day of Kimi Antonelli’s life where Christian Horner has not been the team principal of Red Bull
NOOOOOOO
IMAGINE
Pfft
Just saying, it's not impossible
Pffft
Absolutely. I don't know if we'll even continue to see him
Pierre Wache sacked and you can get a proper aero guy in?
Next season of DtS better be spicy
Omg he deleted the tweet
i can still see it are you sure lol
the scenes if he lands in germany 🤣
It isn't showing it to me on his account and if I click the link it loads then disappears
i just loaded it on another browser as well, i dont know
Then it must just be x dot com falling apart at the seams.
Once the F1 teams leave for bluesky I can delete my account and stop giving Elon ad revenue

And we're not even anywhere near the end yet
Would be interesting
Not let me be for real
Right now, with all that's happening
THere is no "correct" move to make
Whether Max joins Mercedes, Aston Martin or whoever, it's not a wrong choice
Nor is Chrisitian joining Ferrari or whoever
So whatever happens, happens
Bottas is said to be considered for both Alpine and also Cadillac
And alot of other news surrounding nearly everyone else on the grid
Right now, every team is racing purely for 2nd place with mclaren so far ahead and so much faster than everyone else
So there's no point in even trying to contend for a title anymore
So may as well make all the moves possible right now, because the balanace is gonna heavily alter in 2026
You know what pisses me off? It's genuinely getting on my nerves seeing folks defend and anatognize various drivers when others do the same shit
Let me be for real, all the respect for Nico for what he accomplished, but he isn't suddenly some hidden talent and exempt of any flaw because he managed a P3
and even worse is how people tell off Lance Stroll for saying the car this season is crap, when Fernando says the same and people glaze him
The team at AM needs to hear this, they need to be doing way better than they are with the budget they're working with
I swear to god, I sometimes can't tell if F1 fans are children or grown ups
THis is what happens when you broadcast a sport to people who don't understand it
Everyone needs to be viewed from a much more balanced point of view
And the overall picture needs to be taken into consideration
It pisses me off that pre-British GP 2025, people would have easily gone on to crap on Nico and Sauber with mean and ill-spirited jokes, and suddenly everyone pretends to be a Sauber and Nico fan
This isn't directed at you guys, but the youtube comments and general social media
pfffffft
I don't know how much of a role Horner played in many of those drivers getting sacked
But holy shit does this feel satisfying

to be fair verstappen was no one when this picture was taken
I mean let's be real
How could it possibly get worse
They already have banger drivers and all the budget in the world and still cannot give them WDC worthy cars
So I don't see how Horner being team Principle could fix or ruin anything
the only place from here is up really
@pale tinsel max verstappen

@granite tangle
he got sacked and had to announce it himself I'm dead 😂
Ferrari is safe though, he's still employed by red bull
🙏
What
He's still employed by Red Bull, just not as CEO or TP
basically got demoted like a tonne of bricks
I see, so he's still an employee there
Guess that's that then
No more speculation
yuki definitely didn't write that
Given his hot headedness, probably not xd

oh id forgot about this
Worthless
what.. why is it painted in Stake colors..
pfft
because if its going out in public it has to have the team's current sponsors
But.. the team doens't own that car
yes they do
Like hakkinen drove the 1999 Mclaren a while ago
That one wasn't repainted in papaya colors
if its privately owned its a different story
but that car probably came out of sauber
same reason why the RB8 Lawson drove
was painted in Visa RB colors
I see..
Guess if nothing else
it gives a neat little "what-if" of these older cars in these modern schemes then
Assetto Corsa modders will go crazy
then the redbull Coulthard drove is painted with the sponsors the redbull showrunners have
And I assume every other game too
so yeah
I jst never thought it'd happen honestly
It's the dumbest thing ever to repaint a car that doesn't represent them anymore
it happens more than you think
well after the events they are reverted to their original form
those are wraps
the paint underneath the wrap is the original livery
so dont worry
That's good to hear then..
The original look isn't lost
I am so mentally shot right now, everything pisses me off, so i am not talking with sense
i don't even dislike these older cars supporting new liveries..
if anything I like the Stake look
Horner to come clean about the #AbuDhabiScandal and exactly what happened in those missing 4 minutes - failing that, I can't think of anything bigger in the sport than Hamilton - > Ferrari.

@granite tangle
delusional people
would be mental if he did tho
Imagine...
pierre gasly:
Nah they have laws in France they'll just fire him again
Since RBR posted all the nice"he's been great and amazing" fluff about him, without telling us WHY they fired him viciously like he tried to murder a colleague or poison a driver, he'd be sensible to just retire. Because if anyone at RBR hates him enough (and they did just brutally fire him) that person could just call Alpine and tell them
Alpine ain't french based however
Honestly your guess is as good as mine
Nobody has any real answer as to why he was demoted so suddenly
Might have something to do with the recent Red Bull fumbles
Might have something to do with the horrendous state of Red Bull hierarchy
simple reason, he didnt murder someone, but hes the casualty of a small change that happened in RB during the course of the past week. The shareholders of the company were 49-49-2. But the side backing Horner sold 2% of their shares, giving back the majority 49-47-2-2 to the Austrian side of RB
so they instantly sacked him with majority stake
So that's why
Jesus, no trust at all in that organisation
@granite tangle christian horner sabotage has started
That still seems CRAZY sudden and unwise mid season, especially given everyone else that's left the team.
Well if they’ve lost max to Mercedes might as well just blow it all up
Maybe just as well the car formula is starting from scratch next year lol
yeah but do you trust pierre washed to make a good car?
Like.theyre gods
Well I don't have to, I'm not an F1 team principal
would've been easier to say no lmao
Goes to show how useless red bull was
That if you remove one piece, the whole thing falls through
Yeah but I literally don't know who you're talking about.
Newey was in charge? He wasnt even full time?!? I always thought he was some wacky advisor with a sprinkling aof magic dust 3 days a week
Pierre Wache was in charge but it was all neweys designs
Gotcha
Pierre Waches first design was this years car i think
yeah this years car is all Pierre Wache
Interesting
Should have probably reused the 2024 car
I still think maybe Toto was right all along. They went down a development direction chasing performance for Max, not accepting how these concepts made things so hard to drive
well, pierre Wache and the design team
They've gone so far down chasing performance gains in theory that they've forgotten how to make a car driveable
to the point even Verstappen can't get the best out of it
It's crazy
And forgotten that they have more than 1 driver
That too
They think Max js some god who can drive anything
He only wins because of the car
Clean slate next year for everyone though. Literally anything might happen in 2026
Maybe a fresh start will be good for RBR... Maybe they'll flop hard and it'll become pepsi max f1
and if Verstappen can't get the best out of your car, then the 2nd driver no matter who it is has no chance
If the car is bad, he's never coming close
I think some wil still have some advantages over others
yeah but I don't have faith in Pierre or red bulls engine division to produce the goods
Mercedes on the other hand
It being so bad that they have to run a low downforce setup to get the car to turn In Silverstone
seems like they're looking good for upcoming regs
Which screewed them over in the rain
And so do their engine supplied teams
they ran low downforce cause they were banking on a dry race, then it was basically monza spec car on a wet silverstone. surprised they didn't fall out the points completely
It was quite lucky, but they really were idiots to not expect rain
Espiecally when it was literally pouring down
Oh max is an exceptional talent.
But nobody can win a championship in the 5th or 6th fastest car, because even if you're extracting 100% out the car, the mid tier talents are getting 95% out of theirs.
They're just capitalising too much on little things
Exactly
And once you overdrive a 5th place car
You spin out and crash
Which max has done alot this season
It's sad honestly
But really, I can only hope it means red bull starts to relearn how to manage
Because the truth is, the current situation was a long time coming
Only now it reached its boiling point
i mean in fairness the only other time i can think of off the top of my head was austria fp3 where max spun
He's still clearly under struggle to keep the car under control
In every instance of his racing
oh yeah he's definitely struggling with the car
he's talented enough that he can hide it well
but when its out of his control that red bull is horrible to drive
look at yuki, amazingly talented driver in the junior team
having a horrible time rn in the main team
sometimes i do hope red bull get another humbling like in 2008 where the junior team finishes ahead of the main team
Mentally drains him too
Indeed
Hell, the junior team car seems faster right now
probably not faster, but definitely a lot more driveable
Kind of like the original days of Red Bull and Toro Ross9
Where the latter won first
put max in that VCARB and I'm sure he'd be a lot happier
they should totally do it for the final race of the season, just to see how good that car is
He's probably very happy that he's old team principles is back too
It'd be a good experiment, not like a red bull is gonna manage anything anyway at this point
They're definitely 5th in constructors
4th*
williams are a bit behind and they seem to be going through a little slump right now, even saubers catching them up
I'm gonna redo these constructors standing with some funny names
- McLaren
- Ferrstrategy
- Moancedes
- Mid Bull
- Williams
- S-Audi
- Visa Cash App Paypal eBay Klarna Temu F1 Team
- Astroll Martin
- Haas to Spin
- Slowpine
looks about right
Im amazed ferrari is still 2nd
It's probably delusional to expect them to close the gap
Hahaha that's incredible
Ferrari will be a solid 3rd, Red Bull 4th with Verstappen scoring like 90% of their points
That seems likey given how things have gone so far
Still
I wanna see both sauber and Williams to finish top 5
They're trying so hard bless them
the Mercedes question mark is really Antonelli. No doubt he's quick but he's been really unlucky at times, and made some rookie mistakes like crashing into verstappen at austria
But he will come good
He's had the worst rookie season
So many DNFs
Not even his fault allt of the time
I'd argue Jack Doohan had a little bit worse one
or Colapinto if you want to argue that he's a rookie too
Yeah they've had worse
But take into consideration
They're both in a bad team and a bad car
The 2025 Mercedes is a real disappointment
Ruining Antonelli's season
But hey
Not all gloom and doom
He's got a podium in his first season
Probably the quickest rookie podium ever
Or at least up there
Many drivers wish they had even 1 podium
I'm just waiting for my boy Ollie to get a fast car
Can I put that list on klarna
Because I feel like chances of him succeeding with Ferrari are low
Unless of course 2026 Ferrari somehow change things around
I was gonna put Klarna on there but it was getting quite long
Maybe it'll be their year
cause ClearPay was gonna go on there too
Ollies gonna have to wait till 2027 at the earliest
Yeah I meant Ferrari and then him
unless Ferrari wanna pay off hamiltons really expensive contract after 1 year, or Leclerc finally gives up on them
I feel like they may let Leclerc go
Nah, he's literally their poster boy
Alonso was their poster boy too, he was let go of
If Leclerc leaves it'll be because Leclerc finally gives up on the team. Trust me, it'll be Leclerc telling Ferrari to piss off rather than Ferrari cutting him loose
Nah, Alonso was/is Briatore's poster boy. And Renault's
I don't see neither scenario as impossible
Ferrari is changing
And they're done with their drivers
They're both washed
Leclerc grew up a ferrari fan, went all the way through their academy winning all the junior championships
his godfather was the original Ferrari posterboy too, Jules Bianchi
and thats more down to Ferrari and the car than Leclerc
I actually see Lelcer going to Mclaren eventually and getting a wdc that way
Ferrari doenst see it that way
Not McLaren.
Mercedes maybe, or AMR if they become good
The 2008 #F1 season has gone down in history as one of the World Championship's best ever - due in part to the superb efforts of Felipe Massa (@MassaFelipe19). It was an honour to watch the Brazilian climb the #FOS Hill behind the wheel of his #Ferrari F2008, in which he claimed six grand prix victories and six pole positions. Was this your favourite moment of the weekend so far?
Speaking of Ferrari
I know what you're saying, but Ferrari is not the Ferrari of Enzo's day where its never the cars fault. It probably still is a bit, but they take a little more accountability these days
If Leclerc wins, which he won't
He'll be happy
Look who is at FOS
oh the 2008 world champion if it wasn't for singapore felipe massa (lets just forget about britain 2008 where he spun more than a ballerina)
Oh I'm sure, I'm.sure they don't try to put all blame on the drivers
But the.italian media loves to put all the blame.on someone and.leclerc has been having a rough time
He's probably mentally done with Ferrari
And doenst even care what happens anymore
He gets shit and can't win and he gets anatgonizrd
An eventually Ferrari.will let him go because of this
So many f1 cafrs in this year's goodwood
His post race interviews are akin to Stroll now
Literally just done and not happy with anything
I can't believe actual Massa drove that there
Amazing
Take.care of yourself
I'll be napping for now

Guys
https://vxtwitter.com/fosgoodwood/status/1943618774630040039?s=46 @severe spindle you’ll like this
Let us transport you back to 1995. Colin McRae has just won his first World #Rally Championship aboard this blue and yellow #Subaru Impreza. Life is good. Can anyone hear Oasis coming from somewhere? #FOS
And spinning on his own on the first lap and then taking out Coulthard and then himself in Melbourne and spinning Lewis and colliding with Bourdais in Fuji, he was not and never will be worthy of that championship
Also braking too deep into Sainte Devote and losing 2nd to Kubica in Monaco
Jesus christ, its for real
Man that's so cool. Look at it go, like it isn't even as old as it is. Going like a champ. A shame mcrea isn't alive anymlre
She's pretty
I.think that's mansell's car
Surprised they didn't do a livery change
Probably too iconic
Oh Lia Blocks driving goodwood?
she drove Mansell's williams
i just cant find footage of it other than the onboard
guess the FOS socials are a bit behind
This page been on a generational run lately
this is Grade a shithousery
if mercedes don’t release the announcement saying “He picked up” then what are we doing
pffft, yeah that's basically what happens in the movie
@granite tangle I've seen 2 tweets now saying verstappen to mercedes is done
to be announced next week
There are a number of tweets making the rounds right now, claiming that Verstappen has activated an exit clause and is joining Mercedes, citing @telegraaf as a source.
These are fake. De Telegraaf hasn't reported this story, and Verstappen has not activated an exit clause.
and this one kills it lmao
some max fan account made a troll post about max signing and the mercedes fanpages jumped to post the news LMAOOOO
its some retard going by mikMV33
I do wish mansell would be the one to drive it
But I am glad she got this opporunity
Driving a F1 car unlike any
mansell has driven it a lot of times though, in my opinion its nice to see fresh faces being given opportunities
and its especially important because the whole gimmick people use saying women arent strong enough for F1 cars makes me sad
Quoting 🐐🇳🇱 (@Mikk_MV33)

@mandarthalorian @_peahead what is he gonna do? beat me up and leave me in front of a gas station???
Worth noting that Ralf Schumacher has a pretty good hit rate when it comes to reporting on Red Bull rumours.

︀︀Verstappen's plane landed there today 🙄🙄
you know, maybe there's somthing in this
Well, it is usually true
It is physically demanding for most men in the sport, let alone most women
Not saying it is impossible however
i think its a joke
they give the girls F4 cars and act like they are progressive
i think the real talented women in F1 Academy can minimum hold up in F2 chassis
Well there are women drivers in F3 and F2, so it's not like there aren't women in the Formula sport
Just none, as of right now, in F1
Of course, they need to give them the chance
Utterly wild that they got Yuki Tsunoda the Red Bull seat just in time for his home race
the fuck lol
I agree
Do put the suited women in higher grade Formula cars
I mean I suppose so.
Who knows, maybe this woman will end up in F1 one day
You know what would be cool instead?
Putting Mansell in a modern Williams
Idk many of the team principals cough cough Briatore cough would rather have the worst male driver in the world than take a chance on a somewhat accomplished woman
Admittedly, it is a risky venture
Well, the current F2 car has made to accommodate both male and female drivers, I mean the first person to drive it was Tatiana Calderon
There's reason why women aren't more common in Motorsports, let alone F1
it's not that it is impossible
But F1 is just so amazingly demanding that even F2 champions struggle in it
And of course, prejudice plays a part in any team wanting to get a female driver in as their main driver
Of course, if they do, they'll get a ton of PR and positive reception initially
But if they fail to back it up the promises, they'll become a laughing stock
There have been a couple of female drivers in F1's history, but only one of them actually showed any semblance of promise
Regardless, we'll see what happens
I have nothing agasint it, but I also understand why it may not happen
Like Sugar suggested, they are already in F2, and that's already a decent accomplishment
Not to mention other fields of Motorsports, like Le Mans, Indycars, CART, etc
I want Doriane Pin
She was so fast at Jeddah that she completed an additional lap before the race was over, incurring a penalty that placed her behind Abbi Pulling
I want her to replace George Russell at Mercedes
Might be a big ask right now, but hey, other teams probably have positions for her
Like Alpine, Haas, Sauber and etc
Hell, Aston Martin maybe
AM is the team which has been the most vocally "progressive"
I feel like a GB3 campaign may end happening next year and maybe alongside another FRECA (or whatever they'll be next year given ACI and Alpine are splitting after this year meaning FRECA will be no more) season may the answer
Bro no fucking way
She was the only driver bringing the challenge to Abbi.
old hamilton twitter was unhinged
Alternate universe type shit
PFFFFT
I never knew that
Instead of Enzo Ferrari and John Peugeot
We have Enzo Peugeot and John Ferrari
These 2 brands are more related than one would imagine initially
Because Enzo Ferrari drove Peugeots for his daily
Yeah I remembered that
He doesn't drive for RPM anymore, also when are KIC going enter 2 drivers!
Only 1, Calderon, and over 1 and a half seasons, 2019 and the latter half of 2022 after leaving IndyCar
And only 1 has done modern F3, Floersch
Really? I thought there would be more honestly
Nah, the jump from F3 to F2 is probably as tough as any other
Wait @glacial pine you didn't hear George Russell was leaving Mercedes?
Official?
Wait I just checked
Also I don't know about a female driver whose closest to getting a Super Licence yet
Speculation as always
Probably Jamie Chadwick or Calderon right?
Either way when George Russell leaves I'd want Pin to replace him
As long as she gets her Super License by then
Jeez doesn't Merc have an F2 driver lined up?
At the moment, things are all kind of up for speculations
I think Jamie is eligible because she won W Series 3 times and was 7th in Indy NXT last year, the W Series expire after this year because the series folded in 2022
Edit, I don't think she got 15 points each for winning W Series 3 times
Last I checked Mercedes had Frederik Vesti lined up
But last I checked was a good long time ago
He's still reserve, he's at Goodwood alongside Bottas
How many points is it for a super?
40
no shot
im all for the girls but when its time to see them in f1 itll be first in a bottom team that will give them the chance
Yeah definitely not going to a top team instantly
Russel himself might leave however
It's kind of unfortunate
Russel is to Mercedes what Lecler and Norris are to Ferrari and Mclaren

Did Kath tweet this?
Formula E time.
Will be interesting to see what stand in Felipe Drugovich can manage
And then Rowland could win the whole championship with three races left to go!? That's crazy
I'm tripping
I only saw "Will be interesting to see what stand in Felipe" in the notifications and I thought Felipe Massa was competing in Formula E
He did once upon a time
That was when he left Williams right
Speaking of Williams
One of the last cars to wear the Martini colors in any official capacity
That livery was so good!
Not as garish as the Lancia Martini liveries but still really cool to see
That's impressive to keep under control
Eyyy, I know he wouldn't be kept away
I bet he knows this car like the back of his hand
It is interesting how martini didn't have as big of a presence with F1 as it did with other race cars
I mean you go from sponsoring the legend Mcrae to some backmarkers
I wouldn’t stay long either
No I mean like in general
Like Martini never had such a big F1 presence as far as I can tell
And this Williams period seems to be the last and only one to have ever been sponsored by them
Formula e CHAOS
Late safety car in a pretty dull race, then everyone came back together.
And Felipe Drugovich may have just KO'd the championship leader
The maseratis have spun each other out
Why is Wehrlein so lucky? Porsche are always unfairly advantaged
Also when will Massa ever accept that he's a salty twat who needs to let go of losing 2008, especially when Bernie retracted what he originally said, given how his career went after 2008, he would've been a flopjob of a world champion, even more than Villeneuve
I matched with a guy on hinge who said he makes parts for red bulls F1 car?? I’m gonna get Max a good upgrade one way or another 😭😭
Bruh don't disrespect Villeneuve
"Upgrade"
JV doesn’t have an English passport so he’s someone to be disrespected
Hahaha, god damn, that's absolutely perfect
How many races did he win after being world champion, none!
That has literally nothing to do with him
You only win races in top team cars
And villeneuve, like many great drivers, decided to help BAR develop
Hell, you'd say the same for Schumacher if his Ferrari campagin was unsuccessful
it has nothing to do with driver skill, if you win a WDC, you're a legend regardless
But we all know a WDC has little to do with the driver, and everything to do with the car
Hell, Villeneuve was so good, Schumacher tried to steal his 1997 title by taking him out
Similar to how he did to Hill in 1994
One thing which doesn't make much sense to me in F1
The Hybrid era came at the cost of.. well, much costlier enterance into F1
As the new power units and chassis demands were far more specialized and expensive now
I understand FIA at the end of the day needs to be making money for a sport under them to keep going
But like... why would they make the sport so much more expensive to the point where no new team would ever want to join
It's less about the sport, and more about monopoly
Everything in F1 feels like a disservice to the fact of the sport
Discouraging new entries, constant meaningless name changes
And it'll go to the point where there'll remain less than 5 teams in F1
people do NOT discount Schumacher's efforts for Mercedes and helping them develop. You could have used that bit XD
and i mean why would they
Zuu will like this
Cause people are cunts
Epsecially F1 fans
Whose sole job is to glaze senna and hate everyone who happens to lose 1 race
Hence why it is unfair for people to discount Villeuneve's efforts
Yeah so this is my first time actually watching an Indycar race
The one guy's name is Sting Ray Robb lmao
Talk about a perfect name for a race car driver
I sometimes can't tell if these names are real
Yeah but he's crap, he's a pay driver
Pato wins! First win of the season, first Chevrolet win of the season
Formula E race day! And that means qualifying duels
Let's see who can crush Dan ticktums ego today
Pascale Wehrlein pole position obliterating everyone else between
Drops his gap for the championship down to 47 points with 3 races to go...
If he can defend it he'll become a legend but it's not likely sadly
@severe spindle if you want my reasoning on why i hate Lance Stroll with a passion, here's one of them
In 2024 he did this iirc
Oh Esteban and Ollie drove the “new LFA”
Ooh those GR badges on the wings are worth something for those two at keast
Interesting. The HAAS GR connections are helpful
I am sorry on his behalf. Your anger is justified
Now this is what #FOS is all about. 30 years after the legendary Colin McRae captured the 1995 #WRC Championship behind the wheel of the iconic #Subaru Impreza 555, his daughter Hollie McRae jumped into the passenger seat for a brilliant blast up the Goodwood Hill. We also can't thank Jon Armstrong (@JonArmstrong84) enough for driving 555 the way it was supposed to be! Was this your favourite moment of the weekend so far?
That’s what you want to see
F1 x WRC 🤩 @OconEsteban drives the GR Yaris Rally1 at @fosgoodwood 🔥
#ToyotaGAZOORacing #GRYaris #WRC #FOS https://t.co/zLp4ydTdkL
Even more reason for Esteban seems like XD
Tyres must want to run in fear when they see Mad Mike coming. The world-renowned drifter made an emphatic start to the final day at #FOS 2025 as he jumped behind the wheel of a #Chevrolet Camaro #NASCAR and burnt plenty of rubber on his way to the top of the Hill. What car would you like to see Mad Mike in next? #Drift
Mad Mike in a NASCAR put on a better drift show than the actual drift cars they brought around this year
they do have great tastes
she does sponsor a porsche race team iirc

So what's who drove it
Incredible to see
I swear to god, if Ocon won more, he'd be seen as on par with the likes of Max Verstappen and such
That's insane
Wait, she sponsors them? Like.. how, is her name on the cars?
yeah sorry for not mentioning it i was uhh distracted
dang I was about to post that
goatcon
seen lol
alright I can't lie
Nigel has gotten better looking with age
Palou doesn't need anymore wins, and they claim the racing is "more exciting" than F1
I think it's probably because he doesn't just have a mustache anuympre lol
Also Porsche have been a such flopjob in FE recently, especially now that they fell off at home and Rowland took the title
Apparently Porsche iisn't gonna own the thing for a very long time anyway
But who knows
The Caddys have won in Interlagos, 1-2 as well!
Very nice
Where was Porsche strategy today?!?!? That overconsumption cost them So fucking MUCH???
And... Jaguar being... Fast at a formula e track. Consistently? I can barely even believe it
I mean not consistently they need to fucking qualify.
Gawd id LOVE to see a good race for Jaguar when I'm in London
Non-existent, their weekend was over from the beginning when Wehrlein put Da Costa in the wall in practice, apparently they've not been on talking terms that much in Season 11 since some incident in Sao Paulo according to The Race article on them crashing in practice
Duels both days, pole today, a podium and double points on Saturday. They were pretty strong on Saturday. They started the dry race strong and just... Fumbled the numbers and had to giga lift at the 4/5ths
I will never understand the Duels, it sucked when it was introduced and it sucks now, bring back group qualifying and super pole
I think it's great
I really enjoy when they delay one feed to give you live side by side laps
And this year giving them four wheel drive for the duel is a fun gimmick to make the cars look different on track
I somehow didn't realize until now
The current Sauber car is indeed Team Sauber
Stake Kick is just their title sponsor
Audi already chose to take full ownership, so the Sauber name will disappear for good
While the name Sauber was nowhere to be seen with Alfa Romeo either, that was just a contract deal
In essence, the team was still Sauber, with some Alfa Romeo and Fiat SpA funding and connection
And the money and contract was for the name of the entire team and operation to be Alfa Romeo, when they actually had no real connection
BMW kept the name BMW Sauber because the facilities weren't changed and BMW weren't confident in staying in thr sport
Audi on the other hand, is here to either stay
Or delete the sauber name from F1 for good
Facilities changed, far bigger plans and future
my contribution to this chat
🚨 | Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas are understood to be advancing in Cadillac contract talks.
Other drivers also negotiating, but a Pérez-Bottas combination is a real possibility.
[@lastwordonsport]
It's a sensible move! Unlike coming to F1 to showcase your engine manufacturing prowess and starting with a customer engine
I know the hulk context for compairson, but not the other 2
Honestly, makes alot of sense
So basically, George has truly been fucked in his relatively long career of F1
- Got stuck with a horrible Williams car
- Got stuck with the non-dominant Mercedes car
- First year as number 1 driver may be his last at Mercedes and to be replaced by the one driver he doesn't particularly like
He'll probably go down in history as someone like Montoya or Riccirado
@muted thistle
Opera
How is he doing that
I do wanna ask something regarding Ferrari's F1 car
were cars like the SF-24, SF-25 and even SF-23 bad?
Like is that what holds back Ferrari's performance
Cause I doubt it's the drivers holding the team back
And I can't imagine bad strategies being that determinantal
I mean in 2023, Ferrari was the only other car besides Red Bull to win anything
Last year Ferrari had a good car was 2022
For the first half of the year
Then redbull became significantly faster than them (mostly on redbull being insanely quick tho)
I don’t know what went so wrong for them after
it's quite odd frankly
Cause their PU isn't too bad
Alfa Romeo did decently prior to 2023
and the Ground effect was already in play since 2022
Jack of all trades master of none
So I don't know why Ferrari can't adapt
That’s how Ferrari feels in the ground effect era
I suppose you're right
And maybe it's the driver's fault too
Given none of them can maximize as hard as say Max could
If it wasn’t so overused the term “mid” would be perfect to describe their performance
Pair that with bad strategies, and wins are scarce
Nah I don’t think that’s true
It's a shame I suppose
They're not a BAD team, but they're medicore in a state where all of their fellow top teams are above average
It’s not like the car has an untapped potential
Like the second redbull
Which everyone knows it can be fast
The Ferrari has shown its ceiling and it isn’t that high
I mean fair, but what Ferrari loses in that slight edge, it gains in overall perfromance
Maybe a podium car but not a consistent race winning car
Yeah but would you rather a car that can finish every race 5th incredibly consistently or would you rather a car that can either win the race or shit the bed
That’s the difference between Ferrari and redbull
Yeah but the thing is, Red Bull's advantage can only be expoloied by drivers like Max
Ferrari does everything decently but it will always be outpaced by a car that specializes in that circuit
If they don't have Max, which they won't after 2025, they'll just become a mid-field team to a backmarker
The redbull has very clear advantages and weaknesses but it can still fight for a win half the time
True
I suppose the edge that Adrian Newey provides cannot be underestimated
Take him and drivers like Max away, and the team will go back to 2005 status
Not even the team can understand what he left them with
They are lost
So I’d say he’s pretty important yeah
That is a really big issue to be honest
When your victory is so dependant on very specific factors
They become very hollow
And when those factors inevitably change and you haven't adapted propelry, you'll suffer because of it
Such is the way of F1 I suppose
The Teams all make decent cars, but that slight edge is what determines who wins
Next year when everyone copies Mclaren, they'll stop being as big of a factor as well
Just how the sport is I suppose
I can only imagine how much they'll suffer from 2026 onwards
Making their own engine, no Adrian Newey, no Christian Horner, and probably no Max, Yuki or Lawson either
Yuki Liam Isack and probably even Lindblad are at the mercy of Helmut right now, if he doesn’t also choose to retire alongside the glory days of redbull
They have contracts that allow promotion and demotions in a phone call manner
So until they are up they’ll have to manage
It's a properly bad system ngl
It's quite similar to the old period of Ferrari
Where the team is so high up their ass, they think if a driver underpforms, they should be immiedtaely let go of
I feel like soon enough, Red Bull will take Alpine's place of the most barely functional enviromentally toxic team
Going back to their pre-Vettel era of being a backmarker to a mid-fielder
What do you personally think the future holds?
Especially 2026
With the 11 teams we'll see, how do you expect the pace and ability of each team to be?
Rank them from 1st to 11th, with 1st being the one you deem mostly likely to do well, and 11th least likely to do well
Zuu, Tweetman, Furxy and others can give their ranking too
Tough to say
It’s easy to imagine a top 5 let’s say but it gets harder ranking the midfield
I’ll give it a thought
yeah take your time
and if nothing else, a top 5 would be good too
I'll give my personal ranking, though some of it is purely based on gut feeling
1: Mercedes-AMG
2: Ferrari
3: Mclaren
4: Williams
5: Audi
6: Aston Martin
7: Racing Bulls
8: Haas
9: Alpine
10: Red Bull
11: Cadillac
Some are interchangable, and this probably isnt how it's going to turn out
but it's just a guess
Aston probably should be higher given who they have on-board
But I don't know if they can captialize in one year
Here's my ranking:
- Mercedes-AMG
- McLaren
- Ferrari
- Red Bull
- Williams
- Audi
- Aston Martin
- Cadillac
- Haas
- Racing Bulls
- Alpine
My best guess is that if Red Bull wants to be a top team again then they should drop Racing Bulls
Too much funding going to a second team that's always just gonna be a way for drivers to get into Red Bull
Or a depository for underperforming drivers more accurately
Bring back Minardi
Admittedly, the team only started being somewhat competitive after Red Bull acquired it from Minardi
Because as Minardi they were.. well.. less than steller
But I would also be in favor of minardi coming back
I mean really, the team still operates the same as how Minarid did
Still in Italy, still similar staff
Just more budget and structure
Or better yet, a new team taking the place of Racing bulls
Maybe BMW or Maserati
I feel like Maserati should happen
McLaren
Ferrari
Williams
Racing Bulls
Mercedes
Aston
Alpine
Red Bull
Haas
Cadillac
If I had to guesss
Come on, they're doing well in Formula E, they're a historic F1 team
Hmm, to be honest between Ferrari, Mercedes and Mclaren, either seems like a good contender for the top spot
I went with mercedes given as they've usually been the most consistent
Not to mention their PU superiority
Maserati are 8th
Yours is similar to mine however, so it makes sense
Ah.. not as well as I had thought or hoped
I just think red bull is falling off, and might lose their star driver. That is NOT ideal going into such a big regs change
oooh, good call
but to be honest, them being small makes them less likely to be able to handle F1
Exactly, their PU is gonna be completely new and untested too
