It really was an unfair advantage, it felt like the car Max was driving was a whole different division
red bull brought 2 important upgrades
1 is a real cooling duct that helped with tire wear significantly
inspired by the Mclaren
and the other is a new front wing that widened the setup margin significantly
so its not that the car was faster, but now it can keep going fast for way way more laps
Well, that does mean it is faster
of course
im not doomposting just explaining cause i watched a lot of content to understand it
when a driver walks the walk and talks the talk, its one of my favorite things
wether its michael flamboyantly drifting his car on the edge and setting records, or young alonso dancing on his car after the race
its fucking nice to watch
I understand. Sorry if I appeared in bad intent
nono youre good
He went for it, and I don't think even he expected it to work as well it did.
Max is just really good, perhaps too good compared to the rest of the grid
which is ironic, given as he wasn't always this up to pace
https://x.com/maybezax/status/1925575563869040645
they put max with his sim racing buddy in the conference room today
But ever since having a good car, he's simply been unable of losing
he was extremely fast even as a rookie, but way too reckless
Not that I'm gonna miss Catalunya on the calendar or anything but can we talk about how Spain has 3 other Grade 1 certified tracks (including Jerez which actually has F1 history) and they instead decided to make another fucking street circuit
in my opinion the only driver that can match him right now would be charles in proper machinery
excluding drivers who are already world champs like lewis, also think fernando could put up a fight even if hes 43
i will miss catalunya can they move the testing there instead of bahrain at least
its boring but its a circuit with a high variance of corners (low mid high speed) its historic and its beautiful
the madrid street circuit they will run from next year looks like ass and its another street circuit
offers nothing new compared to barcelona
But the instagrammers love a street circuit
The corporate hospitality likes a street circuit because they're nearer the airport
#bombjeddah
#bombmiami
and dont tell me miami isnt a street circuit its literally on a fucking parking lot
If I wanted to see racing in the streets I could just wait til it's dark and see the local Civics
Really? Would have thouyght his sim buddy to be his actual teammate
I more so mean the fact that despite being a good driver, he didn't have the right tools to win
i knew gabi from max's iracing streams before he made it to F1 actually
They have a long winded history of rivalry even from their karting days, and I am sure even they realize it
he is like an unofficial team redline member
And in truth, Charles can and does beat Max
But Ferrari is jst too inconsistent with their car
you would love 2022 first half mini
Making Charles unable to be consistent as well
charles was doing great
then ferrari dropped the ball and never picked it up again to this day
Ferrari has a tendenacy of doing great from the mid point of a season onwards
once they finally start tuning the car
and 2022 was the opposite somehow XD
issue is, it's often too late to really secure points
Alot like the 2023 Aston Martin status, which is rather funny
Didn't the Yemenis try that during the first weekend there?
yeah thing is aston 2023 doesnt have unlimited money hack printer like ferrari
Damn, thhey have been at this for a long time
ferrari no matter what place they are in WDC, they get the most money
because of historic bonus teams get
Really? Damn
I know teams like Ferrari, Mclaren and Williams get Historic bonus
But that's crazy still
I didn't think the difference was that vast
also, there was a recent interesting news from F1 grid
Apparently they were given a private inviation to all watch the new F1 movie
But Max, Stroll and some others didn't show up
people took most note of Max, given his lack of care for much outside of the racing scene
take a look
red bull and mercedes were so high up because when you finish high for years in succession you get a bonus
Well damn, Ferrari has a rather unfair advanyage, though not really anymore given all teams have a cost cap now
yeah its just a money printer
so they can max out the cost cap every year
while smaller teams dont really go that far
and they try to avoid as many expenses as possible
whilst also relying on sponsors to provide money as well
It's a shame that despite all the money spent, they still don't improve any bit
And I did think Williams and Mclaren also got historic bonus
yeah it just pales in comparison
ferrari gets a 5% of the total allocated prize pool
and then the money is distributed
the other teams just get a few million depending on seniority
Damn, that is a shame
Well I mean, I'm gonna play devil's advocate here
I think Ferrari deserves it
oh for sure
If not for them, F1 would simply not exist or be relevant
Indeed, and the fact that they have stuck around for as long as they have is a true testament
And while they haven't had any WDC or WCC since 2007 and 2008, they had been winning those titles before many of these teams even came to exist
f1 is one of the things that will keep ferrari afloat forever
and thats a good thing
So it's not really a slag agasint them to think their current performance is shameful
It's true that tehy can do better, but I am happy just seeing the red open wheeler regardles
yeah it just sucks for charles man
Whether if it's driven by Prost, Mansell, Lauda, Alonso or anyone else
i hope he doesnt stay crownless
He came at a really bad time, and his loyalty, while has earned him good money, hasn't done well for him
Same, I hope he wins at least one WDC
I think F1 needs some more REALLY culturally distinct teams, like Ferrari
Someone else who isn't just based in the same but if England as everyone else
If it were up to me, I would be happier if we'd have a different WDC every year like back then
Rather than back to back streaks
yeah would be nice if fewer English teams were competing
well one could say that some teams back then would see from the first couple of races if they were competitive and if they werent bc of the no cost cap they would sandbag all year save money and go all out for next
Someone once said you can barely assosiate Mercedes-Benz with Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team
because they share very little in terms of assets, engineers and tech
the issue with that was of course that they midfield and backmarkers were really really bad in comparison
f1 is aspiring for closer racing but the negative is that the team that has a slight edge on the regulations can go for a wdc winstreak
That is true, and I understsnd the current regulations make the teams much clsoer
The gap between the worst and best team is much smallee rthan say the 1991 Life and Ferrari cars
yeah its just which evil they choose really
Whcih is a shame. No slag agasint the drivers, but I personally always cared more for drivers who weren't known for always winning
It makes their one or two wins actually meaningful
until you turn it into a spec series and f1 loses its character of being a showcase of engineering ingenuity
so thats not ideal either
F1 is an imperfect sport by design
and so are similar Motorsports of this sort of nature
Look at the golden age of Super touring BTCC
Renaults were dominating
And peugeots were complete backmarkers
Youre describing formula e
Yeah but I would like to have that with the unique engineering that each car provides
i will watch E the day they remove the corny ass attack mode
i promise you
XD
I want the cake and to eat it too
Bruh attack mode has evolved from the sorta time wasting mess it used to be. It's like an F1 tire pit stop now, in a way. You lose a bit of time to gain a lot of pace. But the loss is small and the gain is RIDICULOUS
i dont know man i think its still gimmicky
and dont most drivers still only do the 2 mandatory times and not any more?
Formula E has certainly improved a decent bit since its inception
With the cars becoming faster and more refined, to more teams becoming interested
And hell, becoming a 2nd home for many teams which didn't make it in F1
Like Jaguar, Maserati
Man.. still wanna see Maserati back in F1 to some degree, even if just as a livery homage
Maserati were king of racing in their day, they deserve better and greater
But I am fine with their current status as well
They make race cars still, that's all that matters
yeah you only get two uses, but theres freedom in how much time each usage lasts for, from a set total
It's moving from a gimmick to a crucial strategic element. a few years back a perfect attack mode would gain you three places. In race 1 this year it carried mitch Evans from qualifying last to winning the race.
The real gimmick is the charging pit stops. They add basically nothing
Qualifying last to winning? Christ, that splits a big difference
https://x.com/formularacers_/status/1925592921245438357?s=46 @pale tinsel how is this not formulafakers
With Alpine? Is this real or fake
The attack mode pace difference is MASSIVE because they also get 4 wheel drive. He got a little lucky, nailed everything, and sailed past to victory.
I don’t even know anymore
Big Flav's at it again, he saw this and had enough
This alpine team is onto nothing
i love that italian criminal man
You even get 4WD? Damn, there's a really big difference between normal mode and attack mode
It's like you're driving a whole different car suddenly once you gain access to it
we need more flavio
They are struggling, some say they might not even make it to 2026
They were inded
Though, honestly, given how it was only a few years, I assume they were mostly struggling rather than doing well
Renault isn't short on Formula series, given as they run their own spec open Wheel series and even the World series cars
Really? I did wonder if it was still aroudn actually
What was the unique thing about WSR?
yeah its all FRECA now
Were the cars on par with Formula 3 cars?
F4 more like
just powered by renault really
renault dropped their support for it in 2016
so it becaume formula v8 3.5
FRECA
freaka
Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine
Interesting.. Thank you for clarifying
I hope to learn more amd more racing series
Maybe they're eyeing up Carlos Slim buying the team from Renault
Vallteri Bottas has an amazing voice and accent
People make some really cool designs and concepts with these F1 games and their livery modding
Apparently Maserati at some point were considering a return to Formula 1
Even reading some sites about some rumors about them being stated in 2025
I don't think they'll actually be making a full blown new factory team however, but I fully can see them either partnering with or buying out HAAS
it would be just like what Mercedes did. Had a very old factory team effort way back then, but wouldn't return as a full team until taking over BRAWN team
Maserati could potentially do the same, if their funds allow
There are even some concept liveries for that very idea
Would be quite cool honestly. You think I should try one of these F1 manager games? What do you exactly do in them? I am curious but I don't know too muc about them
Take control of a created team or one of the 10 existing, manage them like you're their race engineer basically
have a look
That's such a cool idea honestly
I wanna play a F1 manager game
I don't know if I can run any of the recent games however
Maybe F1 Manager 1999?
Any you suggest?
to be honest, manager 24 doesn't take much to run i think
it can even run on a nintendo switch
The problem is, my system probably meets the requirement
but most modern games require DirectX11 and above
and I sadly can't get better DirectX
I guess I'll take a look
I genuinely wanna play some F1 game, be it recent or old
I even looked into the F1 challenge VB mod which basically has every car since F1 inception until 2021
But that game is like 200 GBs
Depends if you prefer to drive or manage
Drive? if you can emulate ps3
nothing will ever beat F1 Championship Edition
Management? either F1 Manager 24 or Motorsport Manager if you want a more challenging one
though i haven't played motorsport manager much
Sadly, I don't have access to either of those
I'll get F1 99-02 I think
i hear it's pretty beloved and has a lot of mod support
The manager games are somehow bigger
try one of the grand prix manager games. 1 or 2
Right then guys it's PSL here and I'm here for the sixth episode in my series on Grand Prix Manager 2, set in the 1996 F1 season. This episode covers two of the final four grand prix this season, but how will the championship shape up with it coming to an end?
The 1996 mod: http://www.gpracegames.com/grand-prix-manager-2/mods/1996-mod/
Signing...
its a mid 90s release so it should easily run and its been well regarded
2 has good mod support if thats what you're interested in
Don’t you think you can run F1 2013 or something at least
I’d say emulating PS3 is way harder than running F1 13
I could try, but is it a good game?
Problem with F1 game is I don't know whether to prioritize seasons because of the cars I like and drivers I like
or actual game features
It takes a decent fucking lot of CPU, the only other games to make my PC scream like that were RDR2 and CP77
2013 and 2020 and the two most beloved by the community
Hmm..
Why not take it at your own pace and have fun
I downloaded 2020 to drive F1 cars and found myself playing the career of a full F2 Season
seemed fine to me when i ran it but idk
I know I know..
But the world of F1 is a really big one
I'd stick to Forza if it had more F1 stuff, but it doesn't
so I'd need to make my vision grander
i redownloaded for the classics lol
It’s a cpu bound game especially when you fast forward the simulations
Oh! if you want a challenge
Grand Prix Legends
I of course wanna have fun first
notoriously one of the most difficult "f1" games
Grand Prix Legends already has a legendary status among racing games, let alone F1 racing games! From mods to incredible physics, it's got it all.
But is it the best ever?
Racing Games links:
Website: https://racinggames.gg/
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/gaming/Racin...
Twitter: https://twitter.com/RacingGamesGG
Discord: https://discord.g...
So it focuses on the old F1?
yeah, but mod support again is pretty good
That's fine
I’ll tell you a real hard f1 game
But I hear good mod support for F1 99-02 as well
The OG Mafia
They made it easier in the remake/remaster
Because people were crying
Sad world
Yeah I heard about it
I imagine it did have to do with the fact that mafia was a racing game disguised as something else
It was much more complex than anyone had expected
Exactly
Mafia was one of the few games to have wheel support
But why would a Mafia game have wheel support
Well because it was a Driving game first and foremost but people didn’t quite get that
it didn't help that the pc inputs made the mode harder
Of course, when the cars are so precise, it becomes hard to play on keyboard
So yeah, F1 99-02, do you recommend or should I look elsehwere?
Look at some of these other games you posted above
F1 2013
Grand Prix Manager 2
Grand Prix Legends
F1 2013
GPL
GPM2
in that order. i figure you'd prefer the driving side more than management so go that way. 2013 has an easier point of entry so you can get used to driving formula cars (plus there's classics in that game too)
Damn, this game has impressive graphics
Guess I'll have to look into that as well then. This should be good hopefully
Thank you for your guidance
I'll have my hands full at this rate
I do twanna try making a team and seeing how I cna do
Holy
Lift off for Lewis 🤯
Somehow he managed to avoid the barriers after he landed!
#F1 #MonacoGP https://t.co/btzvTtuMWU
Mad skills
@pale bridge jack is looking at the track smiling at colapinto being a whole second slower from P19 XD
The TV director is doing a Dub right now, it's the new "cut to Lawson"
what are you watching on
sky?
I watch it on Sky but I haven't been watching
poor thing
croft called norris championship leader during fp1 💀
they somehow always get something wrong
couldnt bear with it i just subbed to f1tv
I won't be able to watch the race
Because I'll be at university when the race happens
I remember having 2 plasic toys which were made in very close inspiration of these cars
I think I still have them , but I'd have to look
F1TV also gets it wrong because they're human, they're not perfect
These 2 were essentially how I grew up to know F1 cars
These shapes, these designs and patterns
The Red Ferrari and the Silver Mclaren-Mercedes
that is so unlucky for you
man charles in particular but the ferrari in general too was flying
its looking very likely that he will manage to put it on pole
Really? Damn, so this might be able to win even
How are Aston Martin doing thus far?
Indeed.. such is my luck
To be fair, the website wearechecking is very laggy too
Dont forget the silly dumb 2 pit stop gimmick theyre adding for this weekend
alonso was putting in some laps, while lance was busy crashing into charles XD, the car is decent tho
only thing that can stop a ferrari win is their own strategy team
Best to wait till the Quali simulations in FP3
I love seeing him go well in Monaco
it isnt about the time that im looking in particular but about how much confidence he has in this circuit
wont lie, absolutely jealous
what a stunning car, and a literal perfect example at that
That looks incredible
I really like the design
A mixture of the current and old Maserati race cars
And the pink shoes
Hamilton is so drippy
Oh right they're pink
I know Hamilton is a bit of a stylist
But damn
There's not much style here
I like
That coat pattern is making my eyes hurt
His drip is blinding you
That coat is fiyaahh
You guys wouldn't know style if it slapped you in the face lol
Neat Fanart from official Ferrari youtube channel
If he wins, it will be significant
Of course, It won't mean anything given they're too down on points to recover for a WDC or WCC at this point
huh, so it turns out ferrari are running 2024 spec wings in monaco
I'm jumping aboard the delusion train now
In a season like this, at the end of a regulation set, anything could happen
You say that, but the Mclarens and Verstappen are firmly at the front
Not to mention Russel
Of course, it's never "never"
but it does seem unlikely
There's something happening with Flexi wings in Spain, and then there's always the question of who stops developing their car first... If McLaren stops to focus on next year, but Ferrari, mercedes or red bull doesn't, the fastest car could be someone else's. Hell, Williams said they stopped developing this year's car in Australia and they get faster and faster
Hmm... then that raises more questions
I mean I suppose you're right, it's still rather too early to say for sure what will happen
Maybe mclaren will suddenly become backmarkers again, maybe Ferrari will suddenly redeem themselves
But like... I don't know man
With Piastri making a 25 second gap to 2nd place in Miami, and Verstappen just completely flying in Imola
This season feels like it'll be either Mclaren's or Redbull's again
Aston Martin and Williams and Mercedes do seem to be on pace, with Russel, Albon and Alonso's performances. Antonelli as well
But like.. I honestly don't know
The race at Imola was so nonsense with how unbelievably quick the Redbull was
Even Yuki managed to get into points, and his qualifer went about as badly as it could have
Ferrari's practices went decently for Monaco, but all I can really see happening is Charles winning his home race and that's about it
Hamilton has kind of been nowhere thus far
if any other team wants a chance to win, they need to make very quick haste
Red Bull are talking a big game about McLaren's pace being down to the Flexi wings that are being clamped down on in Spain. But red bull says a lot
I think Lewis' style doesn't gel well with the ground effect formula of cars. I think Ricicardo had the same problem. But I'm no expert
But hasn't he been racing these ground effect cars at Mercedes as well?
He seemed to be doing a bit better there
I mean some said it was because the Ferrari car is just too different to the Mercedes car, and him having been far more used to Mercedes' engineering and work arounds
Yeah and it didn't go too well either. But the early ground effect Mercedes struggled a LOT with the bouncing that really hurt everyones backs
Somebody also said he doesn't speak a lick of Italian, and the Ferrari crew doesn't speak English
So he is literally not heard
Fair enough, i didn't know that. That might have been the start of Lewis' domination era being over
Well, if Max' performance in Imola was any indication, their big talk doesn't seem without reason either
The man was literally flying
It's like he was driving an Formula 0 or something
DNF'ing from a practise session your goat could never
Pffft
Stroll, I thought you were on your comeback arc
Guess not
Alonso's position is pretty embaressing as well
Especially after a P5 for Imola
Clearly the car ain't as good as it was in Imola anymore
One thing whcih is kind of hard to tell with the F1 fandom is how they precieve things
You have people like Stroll which are hated
You have people like Latifi and Sargnet which are worse drivers, but loved
You have Guenther Steiner, which seems to be more loved as a meme than an actual team principal
I don't know what is serious and what isn't
Stroll is disliked cause he's a nepo baby, besides, he was kinda alright his first two seasons. even got a podium in baku in his first season. The hate was quietly and slowly bubbling up though, but ever since he joined what was then Racing Point in 2019 (he ousted Ocon who was liked then) and its pretty much an open secret he's got a guaranteed contract there, the hates just blown up. especially since he's been in the sport for 8 years now and has shown no signs of improvement. last year brazil comes to mind when he drove into the gravel and beached the car unnecessarily
latifi and sargeant were slow. latifi brought money through lavazza, sargeant i guess got hate cause he was american or something idk? i always quite liked him
I liked his no nonsense attitude, but since he got popular off drive to survive he leaned loads more into the meme, and haas kinda became the guenther steiner show rather than a serious race team
And they suffer for it
Regardless
All of this only helps bring further confusion
But I guess the whole money matter is what makes some characters more disliked than others
I won't pretend to understand
SOFINA for Latifi
Colapinto wasn't even trying to go faster, in comes his cult calling "foul play" and "unfairness"
ah right, lavazza is just a brand under sofina
is it?
get ready for Argentina twitter
yeah
damn
i never knew
so literally half the car was latifi 😭
because it had both sponsors
shows how much he bankrolled them
yeah
now I'm gonna say something controversial
anyway, watching q1 or
Also dub for Sky for playing an advert for the Alpine A290 after both Alpines get eliminated out of Q1
i quite liked this livery
yeah, skipping the race though
i still maintain monaco should be a sprint weekend
it aint bad it just isnt this
oh yeah, massive downgrade on that
wont be home or are you protesting 😭
but i quite liked the colours of that last rokit livery
Can't put myself through the inevitable ferrari cock up
I'm on board the delusion train though
I'll live lmao
i can keep up with it on live commentary anyway
finding a stream these days is a pain in the ass
more like checking in every now and then
the way half of them are driving if they only got 1 practice might as well turn monaco into death race
put jason statham in the mix too
cause someone is getting killed
we could have had a good looking rokit livery smh. shame the companies a fraud
chaos race? swap the jobs of the race engineers and the drivers
I don't think big old riccardo adami would be able to fill hamiltons boots
put him in a go kart
GP driving with Max on comms?
Bono and Antonelli
Bono will finally understand "my tires are gone" and Antonelli would just get distracted
antonelli scrolling tiktok
Gary Gannon and Lance Stroll
Garys an oldish man and Stroll is well...Stroll
ngl
i might be on board with the delusion win for leclerc
2024 spec wings are doing it
now if they can bring over the rest of the 2024 car we might actually be onto something
yaes, stream with picture in picture
oh the martini colors are gonna look good no matter what
Interesting..
man i really want yuki to do well
tough circuit, really tough car, redbull refuse to put him on the medium and test too
man im fucking happy for ocon
albon looks real comfy
Both RBs out qualifying Tsunoda...
The RBs in both Liam's and Isack's hands are really strong this weekend
one can only hope for a customary norris lap 1 bottle
the redbull always has a stinker in monaco
its customary
car sucks ass in low speed circuits
Well, under 70 seconds and a new track record
ngl forgot it was a 2 stop mandatory race. might be worth watching
They could finally get the double of Monaco and Indy
Hmm
Man..
I have a crazy theory
You all know the beloved Holy trinty
The Mclaren P1, Porsche 918 Spyder and the Ferrari LaFerrari
You think Porsche was planning a comeback to F1?
None of these brands competed in Endurance racing of high level at the time these were made bar Porsche's sporadic efforts
And yet they're almost all making efforts for WEC
Mclaren rumored to come for 2027
These cars were all made as continuation to legacies which were all about road legal race cars
Ferrari for their GTOs and F40s, Porsche for their GT1s and 959s, and Mclaren for their F1
The P1, 918 and LaFerrari never got to be full fledge race cars
But their legacy now lives on within the current WEC cars and their road car variants
The Mclaren W1, the Ferrari F80 and the Porsche Mission R
Honestly, I think their intent was always to regain domination in Endruance racing
F1 isn't as significant anymore
You either focus on F1, or WEC
One brand does well in one, not both
Alpine does well in WEC, not in F1
Same with Ferrari
Mclaren is dominating in F1, yet their WEC car is still not ready
Endurance racing has entered a new golden era
Where every brand which once partook before, can do it again
Honestly, this is why I think the Bolide, the Valkryie and the AMG one were their own kind of holy trinity
They were extreme track toys, by brands which used to be very big in racing back in their heyday
And they are all potent for race car format
The Valkryie has already made the transition, Buggati can do it with the Bolide too, or a car based on it
The beautiful thing abotu WEC regulations is that their hand is open
V8, V6, V12, Hybrid, Turbo, their choosing
They are coming in 2027
Indeed, I.checked and saw that them and Ford are set for 2027
https://x.com/F1BigData/status/1926546116603990339 wtf is going on in f2
THat's an incredible pile up
Does every F1 team also have a F2 division
The front car looks like a Redbull
The car behind look like Williams and Sauber
The orange crashed one looks like Mclaren
There's a red and ipink on there back there, signifying Ferrari and either Alpine or RB
A lot of them have young driver sponsorship programs. They'll part fund F2 cars and part of the requirement is a matching livery.
BUT Red Bull sometimes has a few drivers scattered across different F2 teams, so the red bull liveries dont all race for the same team
It's fun and wacky
the terrorism starts early
no heroics into saint devote
Martins should take responsibility as well just because he's Martins
People calling Dunne to be banned for a race weekend is a step too far
really? So they're similar livery but different teams? That's complicated
I suppose thye're in a way their junior team
It makes it easier for Drivers to climb the steps from F2 to F1
And have a more assured garantuee of who they race for when they do graduate F2
Also no one outside of maybe his fanbase actually supports Victor Martins realistically, he's just a driver that just exists, he might be an F3 champion but he's one who's failed in F2, regardless of what "luck" he doesn't have
Sponsors sponsor by driver instead of by team
It’s fun and gives many different variants of cars it’s great
Are F2 cars spec cars?
Or are they the same sort of team construction deal?
I always wanted a KFC sponsored Open wheel racer
This as close as it gets
spec cars but teams can tune them
Twitter stewards are so stupid, they think Dunne "deserves" a race ban when Martins should take responsibility as well, he's too clapped out to be in F2 anymore, typical 3rd season driver, always busy going nowhere fast, I mean Maini and Crawford have done better and they're also in their 3rd season
Martins is too crap for F1, it's either Formula E or IndyCar for him next
gabi out
damn
thats gonna be an sc
lucky bastard he's out
lap 1 pit for gasly and yuki
and a vsc
lucky sods
ollie shafted by haas
and we nearly got that lando bottle smh
oof, gabi did a good overtake on antonelli too
shame
Why is Verstappen is complaining about Oscar swerving to avoid the remains of Gasly's front wing
no its actually looking good for them
the red bull bottle is coming though
basically only car to have 2 pits left
did christian horny forget
bearmans got work to do speaking of lap 1 stunts
usual aston martin strategy also needs to be talked about
acting like theyre red and their name is ferrari the way they let hamilton overcut both them and hadjar
oh yeah its fucked
bearmans done his stops, think stroll has 1 left?
2 williams and 2 mercs aside from verstappen yet to pit
must have forgotten about the rule
or really hoping for the safety car
straight terrorism
well..not sure about the straight part
not a bad shout
Osama Bin Russell the sleeper agent, toto activates him with shirtless pic opportunities
only hope for max is for colapinto to do what he does best
I think verstappens got the gap you know, if red bull can pull a decent stop
otherwise its just fucked
have you SEEN
our pitstops
no wait nvm, just seen he's stuck
this year
yeah dunno whats happened to you lot your boys have gotten lazy
Forgot Gasly nearly took Colapinto out when he crashed into Yuki
Alright here we go
maybe christian is making them work the hips in the background
now that newey is gone the horniness might be out of control
Christian Horny has been unleashed
the horndog is out
ooo cheeky attempt from bearman
Can Lando just bottle a brake zone again
jesus flying Bearman
Toto's fucked it
GP has to deal with a comedian part time racing driver 🤣
Colapinto isn't worth being in that seat, he's not doing anything to save himself
doesn't seem to be an improvement on jd
he wasnt even an improvement on sargeant
costed more money to williams than he brought
your boys stuck as fuck
Yeah, not been a strong track for the bulls recently
I'm gonna commit violence at aston martin man, how can alonso be pointless after 8 races
watch out man theyre gonna say the engine failure and lawson sending it into him was his fault and hes washed
he's lost speed but I wouldn't say he's completely washed. yet
All he's there for is Argentinian money so Alpine have enough for the repair bill
1st order for argentina: gasly car rebuild
i would like mercedes to do something you german fuckwits
Ooft was close lol
can we change this to lando binning it, works for both of us
i could work with both of them
but oscar looks much more shaky in monaco
yeah he's been oversteering a lot
had a few incidents in practice and quali also
poss. can't remember how many times he's pitted, think its just the once
on used up hards looks like he cant push
wont be too bad but its interesting cause he was almost on max's ass
he dropped a lot
Yeah he was, looks like he ate up his tires
not sure if he has another set of hards
hadjar downwards lapped
jesus
Alright here's hoping Lando gets held the fuck up
Ffs george stop complaining and go full Osama Bin Russell
oo piastri in
Has McLaren shafted it hmmm
They could have pitted Charles
yeah
fook sake
just seen the pit
Right, no osama bin franco
Russell goes full Mario Kart xD
OUCH
lmao
FUCKIN KIMI
ze germans are doing it
oof Albon is actually quite a bit dangerous with these
Merc might as well do a one stop and take the dq
@granite tangle what you thinking, red bull red flag masterclass?
If it was briatore tsunoda would be in a barrier by now
oh if verstappen can back up lando a bit I'd like him a lot more
Good idea, pit once and take the 30 sec penalty. 4th either way
Unless they fluff their pitstop which they've done too much this season already, this is what happens when Jonathan Wheatley leave your team
Both RBs are doing a dub, especially Liam, he's been needing this weekend badly
Hadjar Dotd
The best bit of monaco is hearing crofty and brundle inventing Formula E regulations to try and make it better 😂
Mercedes are going to have pit Kimi twice in 7 laps
cut the chicane
he cut the corner on purpose
to overtake albon
to get past albon
Cutting the Chicane overtaking Alex
nah hes goated for that actually
He said he'd rather take the penalty
probably was expecting a time penalty as opposed to a drive through
Honestly if Kimi hadn't crashed in Q1 and George's car hadn't died in Q2, who knows
P6 and P7 probably, the mercs really got stuck behind the RB and Williams dropping 40 seconds each for their teammates
Red Bull need to bring Verstappen in now
he's got enough of a gap to just pit on the last lap, all depends on how he's feeling in the car
Kimi has done his second stop
Fucks sake riccardo adami just tell him the bloody answer
big flop for the 2 stop gimmick
was only interesting cause it had an unknown element
next year who is watching cars backing up the order for 70 laps
at least it was half that with the 1 stop
Depends on how the new regs go
1/2 of the double done!
but still, it was pretty much normal 1 stop monaco with extra defending
it was basically ricciardo 2018 simulator
Modern tires have way too much grip to make monaco good for F1
The braking zones are always going to be so short
that was interesting because of the renault element
🤣
Ain't no way
Indy now about to start
Scotty Mac is already out before we've even started
We're about to go!
https://fxtwitter.com/teamlhmedia/status/1926652463475577201?t=1H43g3HEBBozq6wctn6GXw&s=19
oh boy, looks like there's tension
People are dropping like flies here in the 500
People are saying pit wall could have heard nothing bc he was in the tunnel but not sure
It’s very true that Ricky is not working out with Lewis
Ferrari need to sack him no questions asked
Tho knowing Ferrari they’d rather sack Lewis than hire a non Italian not “one of them” race engineer
Bono ain’t moving
radio messages are usually delayed remember
You can get someone else that’s good tho
Not in driver cams afaik
You get the whole radio in f1tv
I bought it for a couple months now
Anyone that can speak English and sense literally
Gary Gannon is pretty good but he's just moved to aston
Lewis is confident and knows what he’s asking
Hell McLaren has an issue with lando and his engineer
Lando needs a more vocal supportive RE, Lewis doesn’t really need that
Could snipe him for all I know
Alright fuck it
Gary Gannon replaces Will Joseph, Gannon is good at being the supportive engineer. Did it really well with Mick Schumacher.
Will Joseph to Ferrari for Hamilton
Ferrari honestly need to sack all the italians
HAH
Lewis want to know exactly what he needs to do, and that he can lean on his engineers to make sure that's a winning strat
96 laps in, McLaughlin, Andretti, Rossi, Veekay, Shwartzman, Larson, Simpson and Robb all out, we're not even half way through yet
25 cars remain
It was so interesting seeing him opposite George Russell, who wants to know EXACTLY what everyone else is doing, and why, to input on the strategy
Leclerc is also the same
yes yes i know
but Ferraris most successful period?
Cars were designed by a South African
Run by a Frenchman
Pit team was run by a Brit
He wants to know everything and also choose his own plan
We all thought Bozzi would be that guy, but seems like he's getting more of the same
You see Alonso at this as well.
Ehh idk
Alonso is more similar to max I think
They both scream a lot and make snarky remarks
They need someone they can bounce off of
Like GP
I think they all do that
Alonso needs a GP
He is aware enough to know whats going on around him, so he just needs an engineer to fill in the information he doesn't know
If you ever have a chance to listen in on verstappens driver cam and live radio
You’ll see how fucking insane GP is at his job
Absolutely irreplaceable
Every driver has his moments but if you take the Ferrari drivers for example you really really have to piss them off to get a reaction
Rahal and Herta are a lap down, Dixon 3 laps down
The thing is that Ferrari has brought both of them to that point in just 8 races
😭
Somehow an evergreen meme
fuck that leclerc been dealing with this since 2019
And I’ve never seen him as depressed as this year
Looks like I didn't miss out on much not seeing this F1 race
So this is quite a situation
All and all, bar Ferrari, this race went as badly as it could for the teams I support
Being Alpine and Aston martin
Alonso getting frustrated as per usual, and honestly I would too
Two races back to back, and bullshit causes both of them to be out of points
I am sure Alonso is thinking about ending it all as much leclerc has been
verstappen gones soft if he was a real cold aura farmer he would brake check norris just for the love of the game
your boys washed
let me put it this way. 0 on track legal overtakes
That is actual crap
Why even bother racing at Monaco if this is what happens
Good job on Norris for winning, but all and all, still such a big lack of thing to watch
also, apparently Formula 1 2025 is on the verge of coming out
Lmao
yeah, just got the pre download
Race number 1 in the first ever season of F1?
Monaco
I get the historic value and all, but come on
This track would be better as just a time attack race
Thats why they tried to enforce mandatory 2 stop race
to try and make it entertaining
The cars are literally as big as a bus, they cannot overtake
all it did was be more of the same
either make this race a sprint race
or make the cars smaller
They'll need to make every driver pit every lap at this rate lol
Honestly, that's probably what the 2026 regulations are for
More so monaco than anywhere else
And I'll be real if you, if Monaco is somehow allowed, I am surprised they're not racing in Knockhill
Its a good race if you're into strategy, but strategy calculation can only count for so much entertainment
I don't even need constant overtaking, i just need close battles
in all honesty, don't see it happening
Though that was thanks to Kimi pushing wide
Newgarden picking his way through the field unfortunately
You don't see 2026 regulationss happening?
i don't see 2026 regulations improving racing
teams will develop as much as possible to get the downforce back
and in their testing, they're losing all the electrical energy halfway down straights so they're only chucking out like 500bhp as opposed to the 900-1000bhp
True
Honestly, that'd be fine
if the rest of the regulations actually accompanied
https://youtu.be/K6QaCbVAK5Q?si=05p5qxPDTVMJssSo&utm_source=MTQxZ
https://youtu.be/LxqZpbEZl1I?si=Z1bVuReuVOZH1MrX&utm_source=MTQxZ
We're less than 12 months away from the 2026 season and there seems to be issues with the engines. They're going to run out of battery because the battery is picking up a bit too much slack.
Horner wants a system put in place that isn't unreasonable. Toto Wolff is against changing it now but wants to see how things go before changing it. But it...
So, the teams have had access to a basic idea version of the proposed regulations for 2026 that use active aero. Only to find out that this causes the cars to be totally undriveable and they produce three times the amount of aero imbalance as there currently is with just running DRS.
So with no new engine regulations signed off, and issues alre...
Again, can't they just go back to driving 90s cars if shit has become this proeblamtic
just put a halo on them and bam
Smaller, faster, more agile, actual racing
nah cause there have been loads of safety standards that the old cars won't meet
the low noses, underside plank and stuff
These regulations need to buzz off sometimes
The sheer volume of fuel
Cause it's only causing itself problems
F1 is the only FIA world champ I can name that's struggling to regulate itself into a better sport
Yeah especially right now
I mean look at WEC
it breathed new life into Endurance racing
GT3s are taking off, SRO GT2s are becoming more popular
And they have to deal with BoP, unlike F1
These current regs were supposed to be better for racing, but teams just developed so much they bought like 80% of the old downforce back so the cars can't race eachother anyway
May as well turn F1 into a time attack event
I do think they succeeded in reducing dirty air
Would be also fun
I've got an idea which is rather terrible
Put them in the constructor's road car
balance them, and have them race them
And the teams which don't have cars would use the cars that their engine constructor makes
It would no doubt cause them fewer headaches
Oh! Newgarden has a problem!!!!!
You've invented GT3
XD, true
Honestly, that's what they should do
Or at least force all the drivers to drive those cars as wel
I mean max already did
Get them do to f1 esports
Jump on f1 25 and just do the races on there
with damage off
Ha! The 3Peat for Newgarden is over!!!!
Redbull and RB: Honda NSX GT3
Aston Martin: Aston Martin Vantage GT3
Ferrari, HAAS and Sauber: Ferrari 296 GT3
Mercedes and Williams: Mercedes AMG GT3
Mclaren: Mclaren 720S GT3
It's just Alpine that's tricky
Would be quite fun honestly
turn their a110 into a race car
or bring back the rs01
Alpine would need an AMG GT3 because the A110 is too slow for GT3
Oh I'm sure you could get that 4cyl turbo up to ~550bhp for GT3
With Red Bull and Honda splitting next season
They could use their new RB17 or the Ford GT
alonso yesterday was shouting he loves driving just for his engine to blow today just after his team fucked his strategy
it already races in GT4
life works in such funny ways
You'd need the A45S engine for that
Hell yeah
for Alpine
Nah, just a homologation special. F1 engines are 1.6L turbos, I'm sure Renault could make it work
runs with a vr38
Honestly I think
thas a big ass renault logo
Man, I miss that car
i dont see alpine
Eh, same thing
^
They wouldn't
im taking the piss
Mario is piss
Yeah but they could
swimming in it
Failing that, alpine could finally build that stupid vgt concept thing thats been in gran turismo since like 5
Newgarden is now out!
anyhow
this thing
You're so pissed off, you can't piss
back to modding cyberpunk until im next summoned
I definitely wanna see proper
So good for one make racing
do summon me if anyone shits on alonso tho
Hehehehe
tweetman im observing you
Mario is my homie
Alonso is really good?
🚨 BREAKING: Fernando Alonso WINS the Monaco Grand Prix!
︀︀
︀︀It's his 33rd career win, and the first for Aston Martin. 🔥🔥
Still won't get it together and score a point this year tho 🤣✌️
copium
2025 has been such a shitty seaason for him, makes me sad
bro put 0 effort in this, he knows theyre not winning shit this year
You know things are bad when Stroll is taking mayhem points
And Alsono has no points
It almost feels like a repeat of the Mclaren years
well stroll is doing what hes supposed to
and alonso is just fucking unlucky
The sentence from Imola rings to this day
"I'm the unluckiest driver in the fucking world"
if anything the only thing it proves is that lance is overhated and isnt that incompetent
I never thought otherwise honestly
but even still
His perofmrnace at Monaco was pretty depressing
apart from gasly that had a horrendous quali and a brake failure that sent him flying
i dont think anyone had a worse race than alonso
Lance absolutely OBLITERATED everyone in F3 when he was there, he clearly knows what he's doing
His "I can't push" radio call from Monaco's race was quite reminding of the Mclaren years when he was yelling in essentially every radio call
my guy literally had a different spec car
he certainly does, or at least used to
He needs to stick to the lower racing tier
he has skills hes just extremely on-off-y
Nobody has even had a worse season I'd argue
Isn't F3 a spec car?
it is, but again, papa stroll pulled some strings
Lmao
that's not fair
Oh daddy Stroll
well apart from alonso himself in mclaren i really cant think of many wdc drivers that did have a worse season
definitely
he was testing a rally 2 car and was kinda flying the other day, he'll move discipline when hes done having fun in F1
Constructive criticism.

honestly, how do people stay fans of F1 when they're not cheering for the leading teams
It's literally only ever 1 of 3 or 4 teams
it kinda goes to show tho the worst f1 driver can still school a lot of categories
i am absolutely not watching this cunt
It's cool to watch
Or when his dad finally lets go
lmao
Because argubaly it used to be worse back then
Because cars were even less close in performance
he's gotten stale now
RPM?
nah hes still a cunt
and also look at him
pushing 40 looking like this shitting on people
pffft
hes a joke
I do wanna ask a question
We have different tastes
With a motorway strip on his head, it's not a mohawk in any way, shape or form
I plan to become a racing driver one day, though I'm probably too old to ever get into F1
Wil I still be eligable for other open wheel series and motorsport series? Endurance races, GT3 races, etc
Can race anywhere you like, as long as you're talented enough and can get the funding
Just make sure your racing license is eligible for the category you want to race in
I don't know about talented, but I definitely do need to take karting lessons
See that's the thing, i think for any category I wanna enter, I'll need to have the Karting license first
Problem is, I don't know if Iranians are banned from FIA or not
Start at the cheapest, slowest end of Motorsport
So I don't know if I can ever get license
as far as i know, its just anyone racing under the russian flag
I think you just have to sign a thing saying "hey maybe my government is a mess" if the FIA doesn't like your country
it's still applicable? Interesting
At worst I'll race under no flag then
But then I'll probably be banned from my own country..
You'd have to choose a flag
Man, what a shame when you're hated by either side
Nikita Mazepin raced under the flag of the Russian Automobile Federation instead of the Russian one
Are there any half decent Russian F1 drivers? I mean before Mazepin's time
Perhaps
karting, though that's still quite expensive for me
This is the thing, I need to become a proper engineer first
Get funding from working
And then waste that funding on becoming a racing driver
Well figure out what's cheapest. There might be a silly budget series
there are some racing series in iran
Road rallies. Maybe there's hillclimb racing with road cars
Some small karting ones, some rally ones
In the UK there's a Citroen C1 championship that's comparable to Karting, apparently
Fact of the matter is, I don't need to go international yet
That must be quite fun
I'll definitely look more and more into what I can do in terms of racing license
maybe i'll remain racing here
There's probably even series that only need the most basic of licenses
Who knows, maybe I'll end up becoming a president of FIA and making one of F1's rounds take place in Iran than Bahrain
Just make sure y'all build a good track ✌️
Hehe, indeed, we do need a good trakc
Iran hasn't got any real major big circuits
Some karting ones at best
Most races are dirt courses
Iran would make a good leg of a Rally series
Lots of desert and varied terrain
Well I do have a driver's license, so I am at least that far ahead
If you have a car just look at what you can do.
There's some hillclimb racing around here, and people enter them with Daewoo Matiz's and entry is about £100
Yeah maybe I can find something similar here
I'll have to be more active on social media
Catch up on opportunities
I don't have my own car yet, I drive my mom's 206
So I'll need to get something of my own and then thrash it
it'll be fine
I'll probably make something happne
