Nevertheless, this was definitely the best fight I've had and I think the current difficulty is good too and works for my needs
I like the Dutch GP. It's quite rewarding for brave driving

no i think you dont need to adjust yet to be fair. Getting into the points should be possible in any car, i dont think anyone wants a miserable experience of driving an alfa week in and week out and getting 0 points

its important to balance difficulty and fun too

Exactly, and I think this works quite nicely for both fun and balance. Plus after current difficulty I'm getting better fights and I'm able to stay in points without too much overpoweredness

Oh absolutely. I will give a rundown on how it's gone so far and I'll give more detailed explanations for every future race as well

[halcyon jungle]

Race 1: Australia, Melbourne, Albert Park Circuit
Difficulty rating: 65
Briefing: Due to the relatively easier AI and the circuit better fitting the car's mixture of tight corners and medium top speed, I was able to secure a P3 in the Qualifying session, right behind Valtteri Bottas in P1 and Lewis Hamilton in P2. And during the race, it began a heavy rain which better fitted my driving as the Mercedes seemed to have trouble with rain grip. So by luck, I was able to secure my first and yet only P1 finish.

Race 2: Bahrain, Sakhir, Bahrain International Circuit
Difficulty rating: 75
Briefing: The Bahrain Circuit is an incredibly long and power focused circuit, but its section 1 and 2 Esses also hindered me when I went for a speed focused setup. Hence, sadly the circuit really didn't work to the car's favor, and it best allowed me a start position of P12. During the race, on Turn 1 and last Turn I was able to make a few overtakes and bring myself into a battle with Sergio Perez' Racing Point and Carlos Sainz' Mclaren. Passing and keeping position from Perez was relatively easy, but Sainz would battle me almost nonstop throughout the stint, and it ended with him having engine trouble and retiring from the race, allowing me to narrowly secure a P8 finish.

Race 3: Vietnam, Hanoi, Hanoi Street Circuit
Difficulty rating: 80
Briefing: On the Vietnam circuit, the Alfa seemed to like the tightening bends and being less high speed bend focused than the Bahrain circuit, allowed me to get a good run throughout the qualifying. Though that was partially due to the Qualifying having been done through Rain. It allowed me a P4 starting point. During the race, it was dry and it disadvantaged me due to the Red Bull of Max Verstappen being on my tail and it having been a race me mostly attempting to defend against his charge. He would pass me, and I would take back the position, but on a few final laps, he just could not be stopped. However, I got lucky, as Albon in an attempt to pass me, locked up into the turn and crashed into Max, causing both to collide with the wall, slow down and for me to be able to regain P4 and finish there
.

Race 4: China, Shanghai, Shanghai International Circuit
Difficulty rating: 80
Briefing: The speed of Shanghai and its tightening bends allowed me a decent practice and qualifying, however the general pace was quite slow. I was able to line up P8, but the race became very interesting. The race began on wet and there were no planned stops. However, it began drying up and we had to plan for a pit stop in the middle. I would be among the first batch of cars in, switching to mediums and to finish the race on those. It was a good call as I didn't lose any positions. Through the middle of the race, I began being in pursuit of Lando Norris and was able to have a battle with him, trading positions before he passed me. As luck would have it, Leclerc's Ferrari and in the final lap, Bottas' mercedes would run into issues and DNF out of the race. This gave us two positions, and on the very final lap, I was able to narrowly pass Perez who passed me in the DRS zone, able to finish P5.

Race 5: Neatherlands, Zandvoort, Circuit Zandvoort
Difficulty rating: 85
Briefing: Zandvoort is a circuit which fits the brave technical driving style, and so the practice sessions were quite fun, and qualifying looked good initially. However, the track dried up on the final session, and I simply could not keep up with the sheer speed used by the other cars. No setup was perfect, so I had to go for an increased downforce setup. It was a bad qualifying as I lined up P13, right behind Kimi my teammate. However, during the race a very heavy rain began. I was able to pass several cars on the first turn, and then pass Ricciardo's Renault on the next set of high speed Esses, only to end up behind Albon's Red Bull who seemed decently far away. However, I was able to close the gap due to good driving, and ended up right behind him. On a brave move, i was able to make a rather sketchy overtake, and secured P6. Charles Leclerc was next, and unfortunately despite having chased him down for 5 laps, and having gotten extremelt close to him, the monster of an engine that he had made me unable to do better than stick behind him, and put distance between myself and Albon. Still, this was definitely my best battle yet. I would finish P6

Qualifying P6 in a Haas. Our team did an amazing job setting the car up. The 2020 rookie, Sario Gillkes, will have the tools to prove himself for better teams

After losing a position to Leclerc on the start, due to an aggressive overtake, Sario would go on to have a little chase with Vettel, fighting him for the P7 position

Due to the turn 1 chaos at Bahrain, and me being able to get a very good line to the outside, dodging Charles' Ferrari just about, I was able to make a clean line to the outside and get myself from P11 to P4.

Throughout the second half however, Vettel and Perez would not let go of me for that P4. I would be able to hold them off on the straights, but not much else anywhere else. I was able to just about defend at the end. I saved alot of fuel for the rich revs
