Sector Shootout is a ProStreet thing

Basically you're on a circuit track, and there are four checkpoints.

You get a set amount of points depending on how fast you reach them all.

• Points start high and quickly decrease as time goes on, until you pass it.
• If one driver can get the highest score on each checkpoint by the end of the lap, they get a point bonus.
• You only get points if you can beat a checkpoints high score.

Other race modes I can think of include but are no limited to Lap Knockout where last place gets knocked out every lap, Checkpoint Races where you're timed and can get more with each checkpoint you pass, Nitrous Runs which is checkpoint except nitrous is insanely powerful and only refills after each checkpoint and time is alot shorter in turn, and Rally Relay which is basically 2v2 Tag Team 2F2F/NFSUR style so one member of each team does a lap and the second starts as soon as the first passes the line.
