yeah, but it takes time to set the suspension and you cant do a lot of work on it, you have to be really precise when you drive it and drive it in the Kyoto park, that one worked for me, but its crucial to be good on the turns

the Lambo was alright, but it had too much power tha when i press the throttle it goes straight no matter how you steer, you have to brake before entering a turn and do light braking and light throttle to not drive off the track, i tried it in Interlagos and it worked well

Well, technically, Koenigsegg DID build a race car, the CCGT, but it was more of a side project than anything else, and by the time it would have been ready for GT1, I think GT1 was getting ready to go away.

Also, that shouldn't mean anything anyway since the TVR Speed 12 has appeared in GT games before and that never saw official production. And while there WAS a racing version being produced, it was scrapped when the production car was scrapped

i won the race with a tuned 98' Honda EK9, no turbo, engine parts, ecu, sport soft, nitrous (if you want) weight reduction (if its necessary to stay below but close to 600pp), fully custom suspension, thanks to its Front wheel drive, i didnt slip out of the track, youll start dry but in 2 o 3 laps a heavy rain will fall the whole race, dont change your tyres yet, keep the fuel map at 6 and when youre about to run empty, go to the pits and refuel to where they recommend, changing tyres would be useful if the actual ones are below medium or you have more laps to go, dont worry about the other drivers, some do 2 or 3 pit stops

now here I can build up a gap so mistakes are allowed

doing it twice means I could get one of the most expensive cars in the game every week

you go to maximum fuel save which means it‘s a lot harder to get the car to wheelspin and turning hard will not be as punishing as normal

also if it rains you gain a massive advantage because the AI doesn‘t know how to drive on rain that appeared out of nowhere

even when you are on slicks you can still reach the pits without any problems

also you can just drive a bit less risky since the others will fall back anyway

I can also recommend one of the old GT1 cars or one of the 90s GT500s

Some road cars can also compete with engine swaps, and I can come up with a list if you like

I got the 25th anniversary edition when it first came out,i played a while but then never touched gt7 again

Im now beginning to play it again

Oh another essential is to do all the weekly time trials in sport mode. Easy million or two for 5 or 10 mins driving, if you go well with the track car combo

Some of them are easier than others. This week, Willow Springs and Lake Louise, are really tough. Last week was Daytona and that was really really easy. Try them, you only get faster with practice ✌️

Back then on my older account I sucked at Road Atlanta so much that I barely got bronze in there. On my new account two days ago I went back there because I needed some cash to buy something from the legendary dealership. Was only targeting bronze, got 2/4 gold first try, decided to go for gold and 10-15 minutes later I did it.

Back then I hated that track so much because of how complex the first and final section is.

Anyone got some strategies for the Gr1 race in daytona?

I can't so much give you strategies on what to use as I can strategies to avoid

First, stay away from the Alpine and Peugeot VGTs

They suck

Second, don't start the race on Racing Softs

Matter of fact stay away from Racing Softs in World Circuits events from now on

Ive used the racing medium for that, the other thing is the fuel, it takes abour 5 laps to run out in fuel map 1, and so i dont know how many pitstops the other cars do in order to advance

The one opponent you need to watch out for is Valerio Gallo in the Nissan R92, who I think pits at Lap 7

As long as you can pit only once you'll have a good chance at winning

What about the car? I trusted the Porsche 919 to take on the race with racing medium te whole race, i tried fuel map 6 but it was too slow to gain positions, and the fuel map 1-3 wasted more fuel quicker as i aimed to pit at the 4-5th lap

You want a car with a more balanced speed v cornering for Daytona. I think I did my best in the GR010. Bizarrely, the Nissan GTR LM can run quite well at Daytona.

The good VGTs for Daytona have been the Mazda and the Hydrogen Hyundai. Both have great top end past their GR1 versions

I think the base VGT will do better at Daytona. I use the VGT for the GR1 races sometimes

Do you guys think the Peugeot 908 HDi is one of the best Gr1 cars? In the Daytona race, J. Wong drives the 908 and almost beats me in the final straight, and in the Sainte Croix Gr1 race i won with the same car without an issue, is this real?

I've not driven it yet, but it seems really fuel efficient with great top speed

I don't drive the 908 enough to confirm or deny its effectiveness but I'd rather have it than most of the hybrid Group 1 cars (919 and GR010 excluded)

Acceleration and top speed are really good but the car suffers in turning radius

I'll have to drive the thing again to come up with fuel efficiency/tire life stats

All in all I've never had a problem with the 908

From my understanding, though, the Roulette ticket's in GT7 are a lie. That is, the results are determined as soon as you either get or use the ticket, and everything else is for show.

@warped sigil personally, i think that whatever star roulette you get, gives you a different reward, for example, mostly 3-4 star roulette give you the least amount of money, just plain upgrades or maybe an invitation to buy exclusive cars, while the 5 and 6 give you a bigger reward, whats really odd was one time i got a car in a 4 star roulette, wich i assume theres different percentages depending on each kind of roulette

Does anyone have any opinions towards the R31 Gts-R? Ive been working on that car to race in the Clubman+ Tokyo expressway race, but the car becomes rather unstable once you upgrade it with a little more power, any suggestions besides lowering the ride height?

Don't lower the ride height too much or it'll bottom out which could cause steering lock (trust me, the R31 can get some oppressive steering lock when not tuned right)

Tighten the anti roll bars to max level to increase the turning radius and prevent too much body roll

Maximize compression and expansion to keep the car from hopping or spinning out after hitting a slight bump

Maximize natural frequency to soften the ride and keep it balanced when cornering

Apply a limited slip differential and maximize it to prevent too much wheelspin when accelerating and braking. You'll lose turning radius but as long as you can get used to it, better that than spinning out constantly

Don't know what to say about the camber and toe angle, but one thing has always worked for me: When in doubt, balance it out and set it to 0 or keep it as it is

Downforce will certainly help keep the car planted, but might make the car look fucking stupid depending on the car and customization options

Can I talk about the general GT fan community? I seriously haven't met a fanbase that hates the thing they're supposed to be fans of more. Like, I remember entering the GTPlanet forums and EVERYONE was shitting on GT. This WAS around the GT5 and 6 era, so, I guess that's fair. But...it was sort of made worse by the fact they praised Forza, and that series could do no wrong. Despite...all the things Forza did wrong.

I've always found it really funny with gran turismo. Like obviously the games have their flaws, but the core of them has always been to an unbelievably high standard, it's always seemed wild to claim this game or that game are really terrible and appalling or whatever.
